 Abstract

Through her powerful storytelling, Bama, a Dalit writer from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, dismantles oppressive narratives and creates a liberating world by weaving complex webs from her lived experience. This paper embarks on a linguistic journey through selected works by Bama, focusing mainly on his novel Karukku and short stories, and how he used language as a tool for social criticism and cultural flexibility. Examining Bama's skillful use of code-switching between Tamil and Dalit dialects, we see how she subverts linguistic hierarchies and brings the marginalized Dalit voice to the fore. We analyze the deployment of imagery and metaphors often rooted in nature and the body to highlight the harsh realities of caste discrimination and its embodied experiences. This study explores Bama's innovative manipulation of syntax and narrative structure, particularly his non-linear storytelling, to challenge dominant social stereotypes and offer a subversive perspective on history. It acts as a transformative weapon and destroys the language of the oppressor. Creates alternative worlds within the fabric of words. Their linguistic choices empower Dalit communities by fostering a sense of shared identity and weaving paths of resistance and liberation.

 Abstract

The removal of benzene derivatives through an advanced oxidation process known as Fenton Reaction utilizing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is an effective method to address environmental pollution. Benzene, a common environmental contaminant, poses significant health risks as a known carcinogen. Advanced oxidation processes like Fenton H2O2 offer a sustainable solution for the remediation of benzene-contaminated water and soil. The Fenton Reaction, a catalytic process, involves the generation of hydroxyl radicals (oOH) through the reaction between H2O2 and ferrous ions (Fe +2). These highly reactive oOH radicals can efficiently degrade organic pollutants such as benzene derivatives through oxidation processes, leading to the formation of non-toxic by-products. One of the key advantages of employing H2O2 in the Fenton process is its ability to generate oOH radicals under mild conditions without producing harmful by-products. This environmentally friendly characteristic makes Fenton-H2O2 a suitable choice for benzene removal in terms of sustainability and efficiency. Research studies have shown the effectiveness of the Fenton-H2O2 process in degrading benzene derivatives, highlighting its potential for environmental remediation. The synergy between H2O2 and Fe +2 ions ensure the continuous generation of oOH radicals, leading to the degradation of benzene compounds into less harmful substances. Furthermore, the Fenton-H2O2 process can be optimized by controlling various parameters such as pH, H2O2 concentration, and Fe +2 dosage to enhance the removal efficiency of benzene derivatives. By fine-tuning these parameters, the process can be tailored to specific environmental conditions, making it a versatile and adaptable solution for benzene contamination. In conclusion, the advanced oxidation process Fenton-H2O2 offers a sustainable and effective approach for the removal of benzene derivatives in contaminated water and soil. Its ability to generate highly reactive oOH radicals under mild conditions makes it a promising technology for environmental remediation. By harnessing the power of H2O2 and Fe +2 ions, the Fenton process provides a viable solution to address the challenges posed by benzene pollution, contributing to a cleaner and safer environment for all.

 Abstract

A significant barrier to success in academics and other academic domains is academic anxiety. An increasing percentage of students worldwide are experiencing anxiety related to science. Science is a subject that is important and required for all students in the Indian educational system, from primary school through higher secondary school. The understanding of science is constantly improving at every school level. Because of this, students who have a large amount of science to learn and who must prepare for scientific aptitude frequently feel pressured. There is a growing amount of pressure on secondary pupils to do well in science, solve scientific problems in the classroom, and prepare for school and other competetive exams. The investigator felt it was worthwhile to investigate the relationship between academic anxiety and the acquisition of scientific concepts by checking achievement in science among students in class XI. For this study, the sample was drawn from six higher secondary school students of Koraput district of Odisha state. The sample of 120 students in the class XI was randomly selected from Govt. school/college students. For the present study the researcher have used the Academic Anxiety Scale for children of Dr.A.K.Singh and Dr. A Sengupta (1984) and Science marks of each students of second term examination were taken into consideration from school registered record. The findings show that the correlation between academic anxiety and science achievement was very weakly positive.

 Abstract

This article aims to trace the articulation of resistance in terms of gender and psychological breakdown suffered by the central protagonist of Tennessee Williams play ' A Street Car Named Desire'. Blanch du Bois is the anti hero in the play. Williams described her as a woman with narcissistic personality disorder who uses alcohol as a coping mechanism to forget the guilt she is carrying from the past. The extract begins with her long monologue at the end of scene1 and ends with her fainting on armchair after hearing the polka music 'faint in the distance'. The play aptly conveys the conflict between old and new values. Blanche's last remarks in the play seem to echo pathetically her plight and predicament in life.As she leaves, she says, "I have always depended on the kindness of strangers." Thus, Blanche's life ends in the hands of the strange doctor. She was too delicate, too sensitive, too refined, and too beautiful to live in the realistic world. Her illusions had no place in the Kowalski world and when the illusions were destroyed, Blanche was also destroyed.

 Abstract

E-commerce (Electronic Commerce) or Digital Trading is the buying and selling of goods and services over the Internet. It has changed the way people shop and consume the products and services. The convenience in shopping and reach of products to the door steps made many people to turn towards online shopping. The online shopping of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) is increasing day by day to the greater extent and this in turn posing many problems and challenges to the offline retail traders of FMCG. The present study aims to identify the problems and challenges faced by offline FMCG retail traders due to increased online shopping trend of customers. The study found that the shift of customers from offline stores to online platforms for purchase of products results in decreased number of customers and in turn negatively affects the sales and profit margin of the offline stores.

 Abstract

The Panchayati Raj system, a cornerstone of rural governance in India, has a storied history dating back to ancient times. Rooted in traditional village councils known as 'Panchayats', this system has evolved significantly through various historical epochs--from the Vedic period through the British colonial era to contemporary times. This paper explores the historical evolution, significance, and impact of Panchayati Raj institutions (PRIs) in India's socio-political landscape, emphasizing their role in promoting local self-governance, social justice, and rural development. The analysis highlights key legislative milestones, including the 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act, and examines the challenges and opportunities faced by PRIs in the context of modern governance.

 Abstract

Agri Analytics is an android base application which, addresses multiple aspects of modern agriculture. Agri Analytics offers a comprehensive platform that provides farmers with access to a wide array of agriculture tools and equipment, bridging the gap between traditional farming methods and advanced practices. The platform also serves as an information hub for government schemes and initiatives, ensuring that farmers are aware of and can benefit from the latest programs designed to support their livelihoods. One of the project's key features of our system is based on soil nature, weather condition and water availability that suggests crop to farmers and also predict crop diseases if any. System will offer possibilities for renting or purchasing agricultural tools and equipment for more productive farming practices. This initiative is an example of a comprehensive modern agricultural method that can ultimately improve farmers' livelihoods and contribute to global food security in a constantly changing planet. The system will provide users with relevant information on government programs that are relevant to them. The system would provide farmers with all necessary solutions on a single platform.

 Abstract

: In India, motorcycles and motorbikes dominate the roads, yet the country also grapples with alarming rates of traffic accidents, often resulting in fatalities. A significant contributing factor is the reluctance of many riders to wear helmets despite government regulations. This project aims to address this issue by leveraging technology and innovative enforcement methods. Utilizing the YOLO object detection method, our initiative focuses on identifying individuals riding motorcycles without helmets. Through a system of feature detection, snapshots of offenders are captured and promptly sent to the nearest police station for further action. To enhance the project's effectiveness, we plan to implement transfer learning to refine the algorithm's ability to recognize license plates. This advancement would enable the system to not only detect helmet-less riders but also match them with their vehicle registration information. Subsequently, offenders would receive an SMS bill for violation of helmet regulations. By automating the detection process, our approach seeks to streamline enforcement efforts while minimizing disruption to traffic flow. Through this innovative blend of technology and enforcement, we aim to promote helmet use and enhance road safety in India.
