 Abstract

Background and Objectives: The anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) is one of the branches of the lateral ligament of the ankle. The rehabilitation process after acute injury of ligaments and soft tissues may be complex, and experts and scholars at home. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect cryotherapy and taping verses Ultrasound for pain relief in ATFL injury. Material and methodology Participants referred by an orthopedic surgeon were selected and assessed as per the selection criteria. Consent form was obtained by the participants. Outcome measure was NPRS and WOMAC scale. Then the procedure was started by randomly dividing the participants in two groups. Group A were receive Cryotherapy and taping. Group B were receive ultrasound. Outcome measure were assess at baseline before treatment on day 1st and the end of intervention on 3rd week. Ultrasound treatment of 1MHz, frequency with application time of 5 minutes on the medial side and 5 minutes on lateral side of knee is given for 4 days in a week. Results Cryotherapy and tape treatment resulted in significantly more complications, the majority being skin irritations, when compared with treatment with an elastic bandage [5,8] . In line with these data, this study showed that functional treatment with a ultrasound therapy leads to significant less complications than treatment by taping. Conclusion In conclusion this study shows that treatment of acute lateral ATFL injury with a ultrasound therapy leads to less complications and a higher patient satisfaction than treatment with tape. In line with previous studies there is no difference regarding functional outcome and pain. Therefore, using an ultrasound therapy should be considered for treatment of ATFL injury.

 Abstract

Introduction : A substance/medication-induced anxiety disorder are those of the anxiety disorders, primarily anxiety and panic; obsessions and compulsions should not be present, as the obsessive-compulsive disorders, which may also be precipitated by drugs or medications, now have their own category [1]. Cannabis abuse with cannabis-induced anxiety disorder is a medical classification as listed by WHO under the range - Mental, Behavioural and Neurodevelopmental disorders [2]. Symptoms must develop during or within a month of use or intoxication, or within a month after withdrawal from a drug or substance known to cause anxiety. Whereas, homeopathic literature enlists many medicines for this condition, there is a paucity evidence based published studies. Case Summary: The case presented here reported with the complaint of chronic anxiety, secondary to ill-impact of hemp intoxication. The varieties of homeopathic prescriptions/strategies were used after thorough case analysis which led to improvement in subjective symptoms and objectively reflecting in gradually decreasing ongoing issues assessed by HAM-S and Modified Naranjo criteria score. The HAM-S and Modified Naranjo scores after treatment was 6 and 10 respectively which explicitly shows the positive attribution of the given homeopathic management in this case. Homeopathic treatment has shown favourable results in this case and demonstrates the scope of Homeopathy in such cases.

 Abstract

Bird sound recognition is a crucial aspect of biodiversity monitoring, ecological research, and wildlife conservation. This paper explores the use of a convolutional neural network (CNN) for accurate and efficient bird sound recognition. CNNs, inspired by the biological structure of the visual cortex, are well-suited for processing audio signals due to their ability to learn hierarchical features from raw data. We present a comprehensive framework for bird sound recognition using a CNN model, encompassing data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and evaluation. We discuss the advantages of this approach over traditional methods and highlight its potential applications.

 Abstract

Skin ageing and facial wrinkles are undesirable results of UV exposer and photo damage. Serum has deep formula with high concentration of active substances, rapid absorption and the ability to penetrate deep layers of skin. This study aimed to create and assess the effectiveness of a papaya fruit face serum for skincare. Papaya is known for its natural enzymes that can brighten and exfoliate the skin. To formulate the serum, papaya extract was combined with other beneficial ingredients. The serum was then tested for its efficacy in improving skin texture, brightness, and hydration. Results showed that the papaya fruit face serum significantly enhanced skin appearance, leaving it smoother, more radiant, and well-moisturized. Furthermore, the serum was well-tolerated by most skin types, with minimal side effects reported. Overall, the findings suggest that the formulated papaya fruit face serum holds promise as a natural and effective skincare product, offering multiple benefits for enhancing skin health and appearance. The face serum was evaluated for its physicochemical parameter, pH, stability, spreadability, viscosity etc.

 Abstract

This study is aimed to create a new herbal vanishing cream using natural oils. The bulk of existing creams are made from synthetic medications and provide extra fairness to the face, but they have a number of negative effects, including itching and allergic reactions. Creams of synthetic origin available on the market bring a glow to the skin but have adverse effects. Herbal cream has various advantages over manufactured creams. Herbal creams have none of these adverse effects; without them, they nourish the skin. The current study attempted to produce a vanishing cream by using natural oil and extracts from natural sources instead of using other chemicals generated from synthetic origin. This disappearing cream soothes and moisturises the skin without irritating it. The vanishing cream was made using natural extracts of sandalwood and turmeric, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, and have extremely few chances of harm.

 Abstract

This experiment scrutinizes the impact of artificial light on the life cycle of silkworms(Bombyx mori). Bombyx mori are broadly observed due as they are of huge economic importance in silk production and their possible usages in biotechnology. The motive of this experiment is to develop an articulated perception about how exposure to different light conditions influences the succession stages and overall life cycle of Bombyx mori. To perform the experiment, silkworm larvae were settled in regulated surroundings with variation in levels of light exposure. The experiment is an eclectic combination of partial light, and complete darkness circumstances. The growth of the silkworm life cycle was observed and noted down of each and every milestone such as egg laying, larval growth, pupal formation, and emergence of adult. These preliminary findings direct that artificial light plays a delicate role in impacting the life cycle of silkworms. This study bestows to the wider perception of the influence of environmental attributes on the life cycle of silkworms and offers better perspective for improving sericulture practices and quiescent biotechnological usage.

 Abstract

Abstract Background:- the isometric strength training is a part of physiotherapy program of muscle condition.Where tendinopathy is failed healing of response of tendon, with proliferation of tenocytes, interacellular abnormalities in tenocyte disruption of collagen fibre. Lateral elbow tendinopathy commonly refferd as lateral epicondylagia or lateral epicondylitis or tennis elbow which is one of the most common lesion of arm. Physiotherapy is a conservative treatment that is usually recommended where management of tendinopathy is done by tissue manipulation, electro therapeutic modalities ,exercise programme and manual techniques. Study designs :- An overall evaluation approach was utilized in this framework. Subject:- 50 subject were randomly divided in 2 groups and revived with 2 different techniques observed for 6 weeks Methods:- Group A received concentric isotonic contraction with ice and Group B received eccentric isotonic contraction with 10 repetion Result :- the result indicates a significant important loading to the rejection of null hypothesis and acceptance of alternative hypothesis .The analysis reveals that concentric isometric contraction with ice and eccentric contraction both lead to an improvement in range of motion.

 Abstract

The present study uses a comparative method to explore the socio-economic and educational status of Muslim women in West Bengal. It reveals large gender gaps on virtually all three indicators of employment, earnings, and education between Muslim women and the rest of the women in the region. Unlike the other religious communities/groups settled in West Bengal; the Muslims, especially the Muslim women are reported to be behind the mainstream in every possible aspects of social development concerning its socio-economic standing, educational attainment, empowerment, political, the decision-making capacity etc. due to multifarious internal and external constraints. The research indicates low levels of socio-economic status of Muslim women, a situation which is still valid in West Bengal as they not only have low literacy rates, they also have high dropout rates with the lowest labour force participation. Cultural norms and economic hurdles further slow them down. Nevertheless, efforts from the government as well as numerous non-governmental organizations to increase their educational and economic opportunities are bearing fruit. This survey finds significant regional gender disparities in health, education, employment and empowerment among the Muslim women in comparison to the health status of other parts of country or Muslim population dominating regions, highlighting where effort should be made for designing targeted policies and interventions. The findings bring out the importance of education and economics empowerment for the improved well being and social status of the Muslim women of West Bengal.

 Abstract

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are becoming an increasingly important and challenging research area. Advances in WSN technology enable a wide range of applications, including environmental monitoring and object tracking systems. WSNs consist of small, low-cost sensor nodes with limited transmission ranges, processing power, storage capacity, and energy resources. This study focuses on energy-constrained WSNs deployed over a specific region, where the primary task is to collect data from sensor nodes and transmit it to a base station for further processing. Each bit of data requires a fixed amount of energy to receive and an additional amount to transmit, which varies with the transmission range. If all nodes were to transmit directly to the base station, they would rapidly exhaust their energy reserves. Efficient routing in WSNs, given their constraints on power, energy, and storage, poses a significant challenge. In this work, we propose a Particle Swarm Optimization-based Routing protocol (PSOR) that prioritizes energy efficiency in routing and optimizes data forwarding paths to the base node. The PSOR algorithm generates optimized routing paths by using energy consumption as a fitness value to select the best path. Our novel strategy enhances route optimization by integrating the Breadth First Search algorithm with PSOR to achieve more energy-efficient and shorter paths. Effectiveness of the proposed method was evidenced by experimental results obtained through the NS2 (Network Simulator 2) tool.
