The male-dominated society also plays an important role in reducing the status of the characters in the novel, seen from a feminist perspective. The novel The God of Small Things is essentially a woman's novel and it is seen through the eyes of a woman. It is a novel centered on women, in its sensibilities of pity and fear. It shows readers the current situation of the fair sex in a specific social environment. The story tells about three eras of women: Baby Kochamma, Mammachi Ammu and Rahel were all discouraged in their own ways. The novel's story shows readers that in a patriarchal society, women are nothing but oppression. In fact, every female character from Mammachi, Ammu, Baby Kochamma, Rahel to supporting characters like Kalyani and K.N.M. Pillai's niece Latha is a victim of a society made by blind males laws.

Ge(SxSe1-x)4 bulk glasses, which have the optimal constraint and glass-forming ability in Ge-S(or Se) binary glassy system, were prepared by the traditional melt-quenching method. In order to study the influence of the replacement of chalcogenide elements on the main Raman scattering frequency, we hold constant number of the topological constraints (n=3) in the studied glass series. The compositional evolution of the main Raman scattering frequency of Ge(SxSe1-x)4 bulk glasses was analyzed to investigate the structural changes following the replacement of Se for S. By adjusting the proportion of the chalcogenide elements, the evolution of mid-infrared refractive index dispersion of Ge(SxSe1-x)4 glasses was reasonably elucidated based on the structural variance of these glasses obtained from Raman spectra.

Synthesis of polyaniline as a main method to obtain conductive and electrically conductive composite materials. The conductive composite material is formed as a semiconductor. Organic polymer semiconductor materials such as polyaniline (polymeraldine salt) can be easily synthesized and it is the only conductive polymer material whose electronic structure and electrical properties can be reversibly controlled through the process. oxidation and protonation. PANI exists in three states: leucomeraldine, emerldin, pernigraniline. But only emerldine salt has conductive properties in semiconductor form. PANI has found use in many different applications, they can replace metals and semiconductors because they have conductive properties, low density and easy processability. Polyaniline is a representative of a family of conductive polymers with high environmental stability. This article presents a chemical method for synthesizing polyaniline and compares its semiconductor properties with conventional semiconductors.

Postcolonialism is a buzzword in literary criticism that happens to be another refined and convincing term replacing traditional arena such as Commonwealth Literature or Third World Literature. The discourse emerged primarily as a reactionary force against colonizing European center. Several renowned critics have profusely contributed to Postcolonial Theory. It has been convincingly contended that from the well identified geographical locations around the world, which have been colonized during nineteenth and first half of twentieth century's, there has come up creative literature, particularly fiction, of resistance against and subversion of Imperialism. It is the voice of protest raised by the marginalized and quite often silenced indigenous cultures or identities. The writers from postcolonial societies have been chiefly preoccupied with opposition of Euro-centric hegemonic power structure, and simultaneously they assert and celebrate their ethnicity, indigenous culture, myths, rituals, oral traditions and political identity. Their visionary actions and creative expressions essentially employ the tools of historiography. Though, in case of India, the British colonizers have denigrated Indian people as inferior community of illiterate, imbecile, superstitious snake-charmers and barbaric duckaits and usurpers of small kingdoms. As a sort of response to the White man's so-called burden to civilize the Other, Indian fiction writers take up the themes of Vasudhaiva kutumbakam, pluralism, heterogeneity, multiculturalism from their socio-cultural systems and philosophical and spiritual heritage, so as to show a more authentic counterview of nature of life on the planet. The vast body of Indian English Fiction contains, in the beginning, the topics of cultural reclamation, and at the present globalisation and peaceful coexistence.

ABSTRACT Environment is the only place where we all have to live. Without healthy environment no one can survive and for sustainable development of any nation healthy environment is the utmost requirement. That's why it is our duty to protect the environment. If we would fail to do so we are putting many lives in danger including animals, plants, crops and even our own. In this research paper, the effort has been made to know the role of students in protecting the environment. The data is primarily collected through online survey which is conducted among the college students of 13 districts of Haryana. Data has been analyzed with descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, rank and mean using SPSS 20. The findings revealed that students are having good knowledge of Environment Protection Act, 1986 but they should get more aware of all other legislations related to Environment also. According to students' perception, factories and industries are the most vulnerable factor, which is contributing to air pollution, industrial waste is the topmost factor which is responsible for water pollution and soil pollution and traffic noise is the major factor which is responsible for noise pollution. Students play significant role in protecting the environment by the way of saving the water, saving energy and doing plantation.

This study focuses on stream selection, a critical task in fields like data processing, machine learning, and signal processing, where continuous data streams are involved. The aim is to develop a systematic approach for stream selection using statistical analysis. The study begins by collecting a representative dataset consisting of diverse data streams from various sources. Statistical techniques are then applied to analyze the characteristics of the streams, including mean, variance, skewness, kurtosis, autocorrelation, cross-correlation, trend analysis, seasonality detection, and forecasting. Based on the results, a selection algorithm is devised, considering both individual stream properties and their relationships. The algorithm prioritizes streams based on relevance and significance for analysis tasks. The proposed approach is evaluated against existing methods, employing metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of statistical analysis in stream selection, outperforming baseline methods. The study highlights the importance of leveraging statistical techniques in real-time data processing scenarios, enabling better decision-making and accurate predictions in various domains.

The highly praised NEP-2020 has realized the importance of research for the country's social and economic development. We don't need only to frame, read and teach a policy, but to implement the policy with mighty and strong observations to realize national goals as stated in the policy document. Research, for that matter education, has not been a priority in India over the last several decades. All governments only spoke of different directions of education and climate in the country, but there has been never a concrete policy with focus on research component to as proposed to be initiated in institutions of higher education in the length and breadth of the country with an aim to make HEIs as "Centers of Excellence".

Since humanity began using natural resources without considering the consequences, the world has been experiencing environmental disaster after disaster. Many ecological disasters have prompted some to consider alternative transportation strategies known as "greenways" to mitigate further damage. Consideration of environmental issues and action to improve human behaviour have been on the global agenda for quite some time. Humans are incredibly harmful to the ecosystem since they only care about themselves and their comforts. If we want to keep the planet habitable, we must consider mitigation strategies immediately. Literary representations about how humans have been selfishly thinking about themselves and harming nature have been one of the most important topics in recent times and a matter of ecocritical discourse in diverse fields. Gieve Patel's poem "On Killing a Tree" is one such ecological writing that makes the readers aware of the disasters we bring upon ourselves by felling trees. The paper "Gieve Patel's Ecological Concern in "On Killing a Tree":A Reflective Discourse" attempts to understand the ecocritical approach to literature and how it should be part of the academic syllabi.

The present investigation was planned on Meos and Sunni Muslims of Haryana as instances of close inbreeding were observed among them. Cytogenetic studies were carried out. For cytogenetic investigation, blood samples from 18 male and 10 female individuals from each endogamous group were taken and short-term lymphocyte cultures were set up. As many as, 100 well spread metaphases were selected from the slide of each individual for Y chromosome polymorphism. Four different, indices viz. Y/D, Y/E, Y/F and Y/G were calculated to study Y chromosome polymorphism. Suuni Muslims were found to have higher mean value of all the four Y indices than those of Meos. The "t-test" was also applied to find the significance of study.

Variations exist among human individuals as well as among groups of individuals at various levels. Study of such variations helps in revealing historical relationships among them, as also the impact of environment. Polymorphism of traits are now considered as the basis of differentiation using gene frequency data of a number of genetic loci. Among human beings inbreeding is usually uncommon because of social conventions and laws although in small isolated populations it does occur, mainly through mating between relatives. The most common type of close inbreeding is between first cousins. The effect is always an increase in frequency of genotypes that are homozygous for rare, usually, harmful recessive trait. The present investigation was planned on Meos and Sunni Muslims of Haryana because instances of close inbreeding were observed among them. P.T.C. tasting ability was studied by technique of Harris and Calamus (1949). Intercaste and bisexual differences were calculated by applying chi-square (?2) test to find out significance and distribution of these traits whereas sex differences were found to be significant both in Meos and Sunni Muslims for P.T.C. tasting ability.

With the advent of technology and rapid changing current times, change in every form and aspect of life has become very important. It has become inevitable for individuals to accept and adapt to change in order to survive in the competitive world and the same thing applies to organizations and its employees across the world. The organizations who have not catered to flexible and demanding situations and have stuck to their traditional and rigid organizational structures have lost the track of productivity & profit which has ultimately resulted in losing the market share. Organizations now have to be dynamic and so should be their employees. The employees have to be flexible and adaptable to the changing times and circumstances and the onus of helping them adapt to the changing times lies partially on the organizations. It becomes the responsibility of the organizations to ensure that their employees remain updated with every passing hour and that they up skill themselves i.e. upgrade their current skills.
