Abstract: Polycystic ovary disease (PCOD) is a condition that affects a womans hormone levels. The present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on polycystic ovarian disease and to find out the association between the pre test knowledge scores of polycystic ovarian disease among adolescent girls with selected demographic variables. Index terms: effectiveness, structured teaching programme, polycystic ovarian disease, adolescent girls. Introduction: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, (PCOS) is the most common problem that encounter with fertility of women in reproductive age. The prevalence of polycystic ovaries in Indian subcontinent Asian women is very high. The prevalence of polycystic ovarian disease in general population has been estimated to be 5% to 10% of women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS produce higher-than-normal amounts of male hormones. This hormone imbalance causes them to skip menstrual periods and makes it harder for them to get pregnant. As the rates of obesity increases among children and adolescents, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is certainly one of these conditions suited for nursing for its prevention. The objectives of the study are: 1. To assess the level of pretest knowledge score on Polycystic Ovarian Disease among adolescent girls 2. To assess the level of post test knowledge score on Polycystic Ovarian Disease among adolescent girls. 3. To assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on Polycystic Ovarian Diseases among adolescent girls by comparing pre and post test knowledge scores. 4. To find out the association between the pre test knowledge scores of Polycystic Ovarian Disease among adolescent girls with selected demographic variables. Methodology: With an evaluative approach, a pre experimental one group pre-test post-test design was adopted for the study. The study was conducted in Handique Girls College, Guwahati, Assam and 60 samples of adolescent girls were selected using purposive sampling technique. Modified Ludwig Von Bertalanffy (1968) General System Theory conceptual framework was used in this study. The tools used for the study were demographic performa and Structured knowledge questionnaire. The analysis was done by using descriptive and inferential statistics in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, paired t test and chi square test. Result: The present study showed that in selected demographic variables, maximum number of adolescent girls i.e. 50(83.3%) were in the age group of 17-19 years and 55 i.e 91.6% have no family history of PCOD where 5 (8.3)% have family history of PCOD. All 100% of the samples have 21 35 days menstruation cycle and 50(83.3%) have history of dysmennorhea. Among the samples 27(45%) of the adolescent girls previous source of information is from family members, where 23(38.3%)is from health personnel and 10(16.6% )from mass media. The result revealed that in pre test 71.6% of adolescent girls have inadequate knowledge and 28.3% of the adolescent girls have adequate knowledge Where in the post test 100% have adequate knowledge. So, post-test score remain higher than the pre-test knowledge score. TABLE 1: Mean, Standard deviation, Mean difference and t value of pre-test and post- test knowledge scores. N=60 Sl. No Knowledge Mean SD Mean t-value Df Inference Score difference 1. Pre-test 10.4 1.23 2. Post-test 17.5 1.18 7.18 41.4* 59 S * S = Significant at P<0.05 level of significance The data presented in table 1 shows that the mean pre test knowledge score(17.5) is higher than the mean pre test knowledge score(10.4) and the difference between the pre-test and post-test score is 7.18. Thus the calculated value is greater than the tabulated value and hence null hypothesis (H01) is rejected and the research hypothesis is accepted i.e. there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test knowledge score on polycystic ovarian disease. This indicates that the structured teaching programme on polycystic ovarian disease was effective in improving the knowledge of adolescent girls. The result of chi-square analysis revealed that there is significant association between pre test knowledge with selected demographic variables such as family history of PCOD and history of dysmenorrheal and not significant with the age, regularity of cycle and previous source of information Thus the null hypothesis H02 and research hypothesis H2 is accepted. Conclusion: The study revealed that was the structured teaching programme on polycystic ovarian disease is effective among the adolescent girls. The recommendations suggested were, a similar study can be done by utilizing other teaching strategies and can be undertaken on a large scale.

In agriculture field, farmers are facing many problems, but the one major problem here is to know which type of soil is suitable for cultivating plants. So we are doing this project to show digitally, which type of soil is helps to grow the plants to increase the yield. The major aim of this research is to use color sensor for the detection of NPK, Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) level in soil. A color sensor is used to measure and to detect the presence of NPK content of soil. The color sensors photodiode is designed to decide the amount of additional contents of these nutrients that has to be added into the soil to increase soil richness and fertility. The color sensor is implemented as a nutrition detection sensor which consists of four LEDs as light source and a photodiode as a light detector. Color of soil is changed with the help of capsule. The light from LEDs falls on soil mixture and reflected back after absorption. The TCS3200 color sensor is associated with 8*8 arrays of photodiodes with four different filters. By selecting the photodiode filters readings, able to find the intensity of the various colors. The nutrient absorbs the light from LED and the photodiode convert the remaining light that is reflected by reflector (sample) to current. The color sensor has a current-to-frequency converter that converts the photodiodes readings and results into square waveform with a frequency that is directly proportional to the light intensity of the chosen color. This frequency is then, read by the Arduino uno. The output from the color sensor is converted to digital readable form. Then LCD display shows which growth is suitable for the tested soil by comparing output with database. Keywords: Color Sensor, NPK, LED, photodiode, wifi module.

Nowadays information is available to our electronic gadgets. The one thing that concerns us is how to make tasks faster and easier. The product is similar to a regular mirror that can display weather reports, temperature, time and daily news. Raspberry pi stays at the back scene and controls the data displayed on the mirror while the LED display that is placed behind the two way mirror can serve various applications. Our proposed system allows us to build such mirrors that allow for mirrors to receive news online and display it on the mirror screen along with other details including current temperature from an open weather platform for a futuristic and modern lifestyle. Our system uses a raspberry pi based processor board along with displays that are interfaced together. We use a precisely modelled panel to construct the outer frame. Then we use specialized glass with a back frame to encase the system. The frame cavity is now fitted with precisely positioned mounts for the display housing to be fitted in the mirror. This is necessary to achieve the desired effect. Now we use raspberry pi to connect with the internet using an IOT circuit through the use of a Wi-Fi module. This allows us to receive data through the IOT platform.

Crop management of certain agriculture region is depends on the climatic conditions of that region because climate can make huge impact on crop productivity. Real time weather data can helps to attain the good crop management. Data mining is the process of discovering of new pattern from large data sets, this technology which is employed in inferring useful knowledge that can be put to use from a vast amount of data, various data mining techniques such as classification, prediction, clustering and outlier analysis can be used for the purpose. Real time weather data can helps to attain good crop management. Weather is one of the meteorological data that is rich by important knowledge. In this project we include the hybrid model to improve the agriculture productivity by using data mining techniques. Yield prediction is very popular among farmers these days, which particularly contributes to the proper selection of crops for sowing. This makes the problem of predicting the yielding of crops an interesting challenge. Earlier yield prediction was performed by considering the farmer's experience on a particular field and crop. This work presents a system, which uses IOT techniques in order to predict the analyzed soil datasets. The category, thus predicted will indicate the yielding of crops.

Each living life form needs food to live, We can't envision existence without Irrigation. On the off chance that everything gets mechanized even water system frameworks likewise should be. We have built up a Smart Irrigation framework utilizing the idea of IoT. As we probably am aware cultivating has various stages, To support these ranchers in understanding the climatic conditions, the dampness content in the dirt and to make their choices simple we have created Smart Irrigation System utilizing IoT. We utilized various sensors that sense temperature, dampness and moistness of the farming region. Data on all sensor hubs is gathered by the Arduino module and transmits the information to microcontroller associated with the Wi-Fi module that transfers the report on the cloud where a rancher can screen those parameters in their Smart telephones or PC on consistent schedule and find a way to make their horticulture ranch develop shrewd

Upper respiratory infections are the one of the most common infectious diseases in children. Streptococcal pharyngitis is the most common bacterial infections in children. The widespread use of penicillin VK has been limited in some countries due to increasing percentage of therapeutic failures. Tolerance to the penicillin or the presence of lactamase producing copathogens may be the reasons for this. Very less studies have been performed in children regarding best drug used for upper respiratory infections. Clarithromycin and azithromycin have been compared in the treatment of upper respiratory infection like pharyngitis and tonsillitis in children between 5yr to 15 yr. in the study involving 60 patients.
