This research aims to understand the causes of employee turnover and retention strategies in an organization. Key research findings indicate that employees have several reasons to leave their workplaces, such as job stress, job satisfaction, job security, work environment, motivation, wages, and rewards. Furthermore, employee turnover has a huge impact on an organization due to the costs associated with employee turnover and can negatively impact the productivity, sustainability, competitiveness, and profitability of an organization. However, the organization must understand the needs of its employees, which will help organizations, adopt certain strategies to improve employee performance and reduce turnover. Thus, implementing strategies will increase job satisfaction, motivation and the productivity of individuals and organizations, which can reduce employment problems, absenteeism, and employee turnover. ''Employee turnover" as a term is widely used in business circles. Although several studies have been conducted on this topic, most of the researchers focus on the causes of employee turnover but little has been done on the examining the sources of employee turnover, effects and advising various strategies which can be used by managers in various organisations to ensure that there is employee continuity in their organisations to enhance organizational competitiveness. This paper examines the sources of employee turnover, effects and forwards some strategies on how to minimize employee turnover in organisations.

Clinical evidence has shown that topical gel is a safer and more effective therapeutic option for managing skin-related conditions and is used for local activity to reduce side effects with other conventional dosage forms. Local drug delivery systems include a variety of dosage forms such as semi-solid, liquid, spray and solid powder formula. Most used semisolids Preparation for topical administration includes gels, creams and ointments. Gel is a network of connected polymers that swell inside the liquid. Its properties largely depend on the interaction between solid-stand and liquid-component polymers. they do not show constant flow. The interaction between the polymer and the liquid dispersed forms a network of three measurably scattered parts connected to each other. The increase of viscosity by complexity and hence internal friction is responsible for the semi-solid state. General gel compositions it provides a suitable method of administering medications, because they are less fat and are easily removed from the skin. Gel offers a composition better applicability and more stable than creams and ointments.

The prominence of sports psychology, both as a scholarly discipline and an applied practice, has developed considerably throughout recent many years. Scarcely any inside the domain of serious games would contend with the significance of being intellectually ready preceding an athletic competition as well as the need to keep up with that specific outlook during a cutthroat challenge. In any case, ongoing researches has shown that numerous competitors, mentors, and donning managers are still very hesitant to search out the administrations of a certified game clinician, regardless of whether they accept it could help. One of the essential purposes behind this faltering seems, by all accounts, to be an absence of understanding about the interaction and the instruments by which these psychological abilities influence execution. Sports Psychology has altogether changed existences of numerous competitors, mentors and different games and exercise experts. Psychological distraction Coaching is that the fragment of sports brain science that focuses explicitly on assisting competitors with getting through the psychological obstructions that are holding them back from performing up to their pinnacle potential. By zeroing in on the psychological abilities should have been fruitful in any brandishing contest, psychological distraction training looks to accomplish the general objective of execution improvement. Sports Psychology envelops different parts of psychology as they are connected with our capacity to comprehend competitor execution, how to improve it, and how to further develop practice programs.

American pioneers were the early settlers who came from Europe and other countries in search of the American dream of a new life full of possibilities . They embraced the unknown, charted unexplored territories and struggled to rewrite their destinies. And yet, the pioneering activity is usually presented as a male enterprise either ignoring the role of women or presenting them as weak, worn and unwilling partners . However, the literature written by women presents an entirely different picture providing a fresh perspective on the positive contribution of the women in the pioneer experience and nation building. The present paper examines two novels by Willa Cather, O Pioneers!(1913) and My Antonia (1918) , to get a feminist view of the dominant male discourse of the pioneers and their early lives in America. Cather moved to America as a nine year old child with her family and had a first hand experience of the hardships she has described in her novels. Her life in the frontier state of Nebraska during her formative years influenced and informed her literary style in describing the immigrant experience amidst the vastness of the western plains.

An adhesive is a substance which when applied to the surfaces of materials binds that surfaces together and resists separation. The strength of the adhesive joints under impact loads has become more important because of their huge use to the aircraft and automobile industries. In industries, adhesives are used to join the dissimilar or same material. But when those joined material comes under use, it may rupture or may not rupture. It depends on the how much load has been applied on the joint, type of adhesive material used for joining and the contact area of the two material. Joint failures contribute major cause of machinery breakdown resulting in costly down time. To prevent that, we should know the strength of the adhesive joint for that two particular material

Urban lakes are an integral part of water resources for people living in urban areas and economic resources for fishermen and industrialists. But in recent decades urban lakes are encroached and converted into house plots, buildings, commercial purposes and also polluted due to industrial activities, chemical-intensive agriculture activities, and high population explosion are main causes for contamination of freshwater bodies. These activities affect the lake aquatic life, ecosystem services and reduce the water storage capacity of lakes. It was the main reason for the water shortage problem in urban cities. Hence, this paper seeks to find out the causes and consequences of lakes pollution in Coimbatore city through discussion with fishermen and households nearby lakes. This study is descriptive in nature and data gathered from Public Work Department, various reports and Newspaper. This paper reveals that fishermen are highly affected due to urban lake pollution because they are more economically depend on lakes for their livelihood. Moreover, the presence of lake gives us economic, environmental values and provides food security.

The poor water solubility is the main reason for poor oral bioavailability and it causes research and development more difficult. There are different methods for the improvement of solubility such as amorphization, crystal modification, micronization, self-emulsification, cyclodextrin complexation, and pH modification. There is various difficulty of improvement of water solubility of poor water-soluble drug according to different routes of administration. An estimated 40% of approved drugs and nearly 90% of the developmental pipeline drugs consist of poorly soluble molecules. Several marketed drugs suffer from poor solubility, low permeability, rapid metabolism and elimination from the body along with poor safety and tolerability. Poor aqueous solubility, and consequently also poor dissolution rate, is a major challenge specifically in the systemic delivery of orally administered BCS class II and IV drugs. A better knowledge of biopharmaceutical and physiochemical property of drug and their limitation helpful for efficient formulation development for poorly water-soluble drugs. The article describes studies on design and development of poorly water soluble NSAID drug by oral drug delivery system

The use of herbal remedies was well-known in ancient societies. These were used for food, medicine, or cosmetics. Flower, leaf, fruit, root, bark, inner stem, wood, beans, rhizome, endosperm, bulb, seed or whole plant are used to produce bioactive ingredients. Demand for herbal products and cosmetics is growing day by day due to the high health risks of synthetic ingredients which also contribute to environmental damage. Besides cosmetic, cosmetic bioactive ingredients act as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial agents. These bioactive ingredients include vitamins, antioxidants, fats, dyes, tannins, alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins, terpenoids and much more. The most important feature of herbal cosmetics is that they have no side effects. Herbal cosmetic has a growing demand in the global market and is a valuable gift of nature. Herbal remedies always draw a lot of attention because of their good workmanship and side effects when they are compared or mean nothing to synthetic drugs. Herbs and spices are used to preserve and enhance human beauty. Indian women have long used herbs such as sandalwood and turmeric for skin care, Henna for hair color, palms, and feet; and natural oils for their bodies. The industry is now focused on a growing segment with a wide range of varied growth in the coming years. Herbal cosmetics are described as beauty products that have desirable physical properties such as healing, smooth appearance, enhancement and cooling properties due to the herbal ingredient. Here we have reported on the introduction, separation, common remedies used in cosmetics.

Steering is a basic function that ensures the wheels point in the right direction. This is usually achieved using a series linkages, rods pivots and pivots. One of the most basic concepts is the caster angle. Each wheel is steered with an initial pivot point before the wheel. This allows the steering to be self-centring in the direction of travel. A shaft connected to the steering column turns a wheel when the driving force turns it. The gear mechanism turns tie rods that connect to the front wheels. To turn the vehicle to one side, the tie rods move the front tires. The steering mechanism should provide control over vehicle direction, good maneuverability, and smooth recovery from turns. Because the driver releases the steering lever, the steering mechanism also must transmit minimal road shocks to the pavement. The steering mechanism controls the vehicle's direction, provides good maneuverability, smooth recovery after turns, and transmits minimal road shocks.

The report presents a strategy for social distancing detection, the unprecedented outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus, termed as COVID-19 by the globe Health Organization (WHO), has placed numerous governments round the world in an exceedingly precarious position. The effect of the COVID-19 outbreaks, in advance witnessed through the residents of China alone, has now become a matter of grave concern for virtually every country within the world. The shortage of assets to undergo the COVID-19 outbreak mixed with the worry of overburdened healthcare systems has forced a majority of those countries into a state of partial or complete lockdown. The number of laboratories confirmed coronavirus cases has been increasing at an alarming rate throughout the planet, with reportedly quite 2.2 million confirmed cases as on 20 April 2020. So, maintaining social distancing is incredibly important. to gauge the space between people to mitigate the impact of this coronavirus pandemic. The detection tool was developed to alert people to take care of a secure distance with one another by evaluating a video feed. The video frame from the camera was used as input, and therefore the open-source object detection pre- trained model supported the YOLOv3 algorithm was employed for pedestrian detection. Later, the video frame was transformed into top-down view for distance measurement from the 2D plane. the gap between people is often estimated and any noncompliant pair of individuals within the display are going to be indicated with a red frame and line. The proposed method was validated on a pre-recorded video of pedestrians walking on the road. The result shows that the proposed method is ready to work out the social distancing measures between multiple people within the video. The developed technique will be further developed as a detection tool in real-time application.

The purpose of this study is to find out the most possible factor which causes incident in the process industry and thus affecting the safety management in the process industry. The most common feature among the best known companies in the world is safety. In fact, process safety and manufacturing productivity go hand in hand. In the last century, a number of catastrophic accidents have drawn the attention of regulators towards process safety. In several developed, industrialized countries, strict regulations and standards are applied to emphasize process safety. In fact, in such countries, these are the required minimum for maintaining business license and permits. However, in developing and in under developed nations, the issue of process safety and their importance is still being debated. Process safety cannot just be driven by a set of rules, regulations, policies, etc. Multitudes of items are required in establishing and maintaining a safe and a reliable work environment. Such items, though can be expressed readily in paper, are quite arduous to establish in a highly competitive environment. The legislation, the government regulations, banking policies, management commitment, cumulatively share the responsibility in establishing organizations judiciously managing process safety. This paper reviews certain critical aspects in establishing a successful process safety management (PSM) program. Furthermore, the paper reviews the various elements that contribute towards the creation of a worthwhile PSM program.
