 Abstract

Studies on the production and application of nanomaterials have been carried out for many years. They have a variety of appealing properties due to differences in the nature of the base element, molybdenum, and the other chemical element, Sulphur, an oxygen family element. Even though significant advances in our understanding of the processes involved in the nucleation, development, and structure of molybdenum disulphide nanoparticles, as well as the mechanisms behind their biological characteristics and catalytic activity, a number of difficulties remain. Nanomaterial evolution has aided in altering the shape and structure of materials at the nanoscale level to reach desired applications. To discriminate between semiconducting and metallic phases, quasi two-dimensional (Q2D) materials such as graphene and 2D honeycomb silicon, as well as layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) (WS2), were developed. Due to its ability to exhibit a wide range of properties when it transitions from bulk to nanoscale. Among these, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is an interesting multifunctional material. Because of its (1.9 eV) straight bandgap value, a single sheet of MoS2 is undoubtedly capable of post-silicon electronics. At room temperature, it has a high on/off current ratio and mobility of roughly 200 cm2 (Vs-1). The structure of MoS2 is also responsible for two of its features. It is useful for gas sensing because it has a hexagonal configuration with covalently connected S-Mo-S atomic layers and a Van der Waals connection between neighbouringMoS2 layers. MoS2 has a varity range of practical applications due to its promising features. We strive to cover current techniques of synthesis and its applications in the application of 2D MoS2 materials under this review.

 Abstract

At the end of the day every hotel / restaurant / Function hall will have a remnant food with them. Obviously they will throw it out without thinking much about it. As it may not give them a loss. But, there are many people in India who are unable to find the food to fulfill their hunger sometimes even once a day. One side the food is getting wasted unnecessarily and the other side there is need of food. In order to balance this we came up with a solution. We are designing an application to reach out the needy people with this remnant food so that at least some people may get the food. Our application "No More Hunger" helps to upload the locations where the food is available. Based on the locations the food activists can reach out to respective hotel / restaurant / function hall and will provide the food to the needy people.

 Abstract

Penetrating foreign bodies of different origins in the head and neck are rare and potentially dangerous injuries, which might pose problems for their detection, primary care, and final treatment. Depending on the severity of the underlying trauma, some injuries present a higher risk for the presence of foreign bodies. Minor wounds, including common lacerations, are likely to be contaminated. Despite improving medical imaging techniques, detection remains a challenge as it is dependent on the material of the foreign body, the affected anatomical site, and the injury severity. Therefore, a detailed history of the circumstances leading to trauma is essential when foreign objects are not visible during a clinical examination. Precise detection of the foreign body, its anatomical position, and the affected surrounding structures are vital, especially for impalement injuries of the head and neck area. Therefore, an interdisciplinary planning approach is essential before the removal of the foreign object. Finally, tension-free anatomical adaptation of the corresponding structures is crucial for maintaining and restoring aesthetic and function. Here, we report a case of a young man victim of a projection of a metal nail through the thyrotracheal area.

 Abstract

Tuberculosis is a rare cause of chronic suppurative otitis media and mastoiditis; the predisposing factors of this association, however, are not commonly described. These patients typically present multiple perforations of the tympanic membrane, an ear discharge, and progressive hearing loss. This diagnosis should be taken into account in patients that do not respond to routine therapy for fungal external otitis or bacterial otitis media. We describe two cases of patients with tuberculous otitis media.

 Abstract

Automatic Text Summarization is a data compression process to exclude unnecessary details and include important information of a source text document in a shorter version. In this paper, we have presented the concept of four different techniques for automatic text summarization. The synthesis of text provides automatically a summary of essential phrases and incorporates all the necessary information from the original content. One of the principal techniques is extractive and abstractive when seen from the summary findings. This report offers a comprehensive and thorough evaluation of the text summary studies published between 2008 and 2019. The findings of chosen studies for identification and analysis are published in 85 journals and conference articles describing study topics/trends, data sets, preprocessing, featural characteristics, procedures, methodologies, assessments and research challenge.

 Abstract

Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an autonomous system, where nodes are connected with each other through wireless links. Mobile ad hoc network topology is dynamic that can change rapidly because the nodes move freely and can organize themselves randomly therefore in a Mobile Ad-hoc Network usually seek the help of other intermediate nodes to establish communication channels. As a result network needs to have routing protocols which can adopt dynamically changing topology. To accomplish this, a number of ad hoc routing protocols have been proposed and implemented, which include ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) routing. In this paper, different routing algorithms are to be discussed and measure the performance in Packet Delivery Fraction, Throughput and Round Trip Time with constant mobility. For the implementation purpose we have used Network Simulator-2 (NS-2).

 Abstract

Fly ash and Ground Granulated Burnt Slag (GGBS) are chosen mainly based on the criteria of cost and their durable qualities. Not only this, Environmental pollution can also be decreased to some extent because the emission of harmful gases like carbon monoxide & carbon dioxide are very limited. This paper presents a laboratory investigation on optimum level of Fly ash and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) as a partial replacement of cement to study the strength characteristics of concrete as compare to conventional concrete (CC) of M25 grade. Portland cement was partially replaced by 10%, 20% & 30% of GGBS i.e. (GC1, GC2, and GC3) and Fly ash by 10%, 20% & 30% as FC1, FC2 & FC3. It is observed that replacement of cement in any proportion lowers the compressive strength of concrete as well as delays its hardening. This provides an environmentally friendly method of fly ash and GGBS disposal.

 Abstract

Fire has been a boon as wells as a disaster for nature and human kind. Since long time world has witnessed many fire disasters, natural or manmade. These fires resulted in huge life loss, environmental loss and financial loss. Various techniques are developed to detect fire, extinguish fire and alerting systems. All these techniques have their pros and cons which make room for new innovations in the fire detection techniques. Recent advancements in deep learning technology have enabled accurate vision based developments. Deep learning techniques are used to recognize patterns in image, object detection and image classification. Convolutional Neural Networks have a huge breakthrough in image recognition and classification. Implementing these advanced techniques in the embedded applications like video surveillance provide an early fire detection technique.
