Construction is the major part of everyday life. It requires all the construction material which mainly includes cement and sand. Cement provides the basic strength to the building. The manufacturing of cement is a major issue as it involves pollution on a large level as well as cost of construction also increases. This cement can be replaced by a construction material called fly ash. Sand provides bulk, strength and other properties to the building. Sand is a granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. It is defined by size, being finer than gravel and coarse than silt. Sand can also refer to a textural class of soil or soil type; i.e., a soil containing more than 85 percent sand-sized particles by mass.

Traditionally, naturally available river sand has been the choice and there are no issues with this practice. With ever increasing construction activities, this resource is dwindling globally. Restrictions put in place by various governmental agencies has brought in severe strains on the construction industry to look for alternate materials. M-sand and GGBS are two such alternatives that are used to replace natural sand in cement concrete. The purpose of this project is to investigate the feasibility of these materials as a replacement to natural sand by conducting experiments.

The current work is an effort to summarise the numerous quality guarantees of herbal formulations as well as their parameters. The quality assurance parameters that must be strictly followed for the herbal formulations during and after the manufacturing process, for the finished products in order to ensure their effectiveness, stability, and protection during the product's shelf life, have been briefly accounted for. Following a review of the introduction and history of herbal formulation use, the distinction between quality assurance and quality control is presented, as well as the general definition of quality assurance of herbal formulations such as macroscopic and microscopic characterization.

In last some years, it has been observed that, the high rise buildings are failed due to the various seismic and vertical failures in geometry. Hence we need more investigation on the structures with vertical irregularities under seismic. The effect of lateral load on structure with vertical irregularities should be examined to reduce failure of structure. This study summarizes the studies done on the seismic analysis of RCC building structure with different vertical irregularities. From the study, it has been concluded that the structure with vertical irregularity failed under seismic loading and need to find specific code or special design for such structures. The performance of a high rise building during a strong earthquake motions depends on the distribution of stiffness, strength and mass along both vertical and horizontal directions. If there is discontinuity in stiffness, strength and mass between the adjoining storeys of a building then such a building is called as irregular building. The present study focuses on vertical irregular G+11 reinforced structures (RC) building under seismic loading. Total four buildings are modeled and analyzed in software called as STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGN Pro (STAAD-PRO). Out of four buildings, one building is regular and 3 buildings are irregular. Different seismic responses like lateral story displacement, story shear force and story bending moment are obtained. By using these seismic response comparison has been made regular and irregular building. The results indicate a conclusion that, a building structures with stiffness irregularity provides instability during seismic loading. To overcome this instability or rather say that to control instability, an appropriate amount of stiffness is very vital in RC building.

Image is a key of digital data which is used in many studies and research work as dataset. These datasets are compromised due to distortion which is caused by the presence of noise. Occurrence of noise is found while capturing image, transmission of pictorial data over different networks, etc. An image can be corrupted due to various factors, among them Noise plays a vital role in image corruption and this noise can also exist individually with varying intensities of different noise factor or also as hybrid noise [i.e Combination of different noises], hence removal of noise becomes a main challenge in image processing. In general, the results of denoising affect the quality of the image processing approaches. The nature of the noise removal issue depends on the sort of the noise corrupting the image. The Salt and Pepper, Gaussian, Poisson and Speckle noise are the noises that usually affect the images. To restore these degraded images, many de-noising algorithm has been evolved and one among them are filtering techniques. In this research work, three filters are considered for denoising i.e. Weiner filter, Gaussian filter and Median filter. The current work is implemented on gray scale images and the evaluation of these algorithms is done by the measure of the PSNR and MSE values. In addition, we propose to use hybrid filter for denoising images that can be corrupted by individual or hybrid noise.

Although the use of fly ash has many advantages, its low hydration at early stage causes the strength to be low. In this study, the experimental investigation was carried out to find the optimum mix percentage of fly ash brick. However the brick specimen of size 230mm x 110mm x 75mm were cast for different mix percentage of Fly ash (55 to 60%), Gypsum (5%), Lime (15 to 22%) and Quarry dust (20 to 25%), Cork powder-(1%,3%,5%,7%)compressive strength were studied for different mix proportions. The results shows the variation of compressive strength and thermal insulation for different mix proportions of materials mentioned earlier at different curing ages. From the results it was inferred that, the maximum optimized compressive strength and thermal insulation is obtained for optimal mix percentage of Flyash-60% Lime-20% Gypsum-5% Quarry dust-15%,Cork powder-(1%,3%,5%,7%).

Most of the commercial and residential buildings in the country are RCC, which is a versatile material for construction possess up good properties in compression and tension. Also, it is a matter of common observation that due to variety of reasons there are delays in the construction of RCC structures render up to look for alternate construction as steel building for large infrastructure. Due to large open spaces/ spans the use of RCC beams can look architecturally bad. There is also not much of reusable value in cases of RCC structures. In view of these reasons as stated above steel buildings are becoming very common. The present study discusses the influence of various lateral load resisting system in steel building of different height and existing in V earthquake zone. When it comes to lateral load majorly it will be either seismic or wind, so to resist that lateral forces effectively in steel building, bracing system is preferred. Buildings with steel are more ductile and can accommodate larger spaces and also good for tall buildings. The study involves analysing the building for different heights considering earthquake load as per IS 1893 (Part I):2002 using on STAAD V8i sticking to the IS 800:2007 guidelines. Different lateral load resisting systems are attempted keeping the other parameter constant. The study brings out effective lateral load resisting suitable for a particular height of building

Due to the steady increase in the population of katihar city , this city is on the list of developing cities in Bihar. With the increase in population the result in the generating of the domestic sewage is increasing and still no proper facilities of sewage treatment plant are provided. The sewage treatment plant with all the requirements is very necessary to construct in that type of developing city. The sewage treatment plant is imparting it's importance in the two different way one is removing and other is receiving, firstly we all know that sewage treatment plant is intended to remove those materials which are ready to harm the human mainly general public and in receiving process it receives the waste which is categorized in domestic and commercial waste .This paper is well focused on the design purposes of sewage treatment plant for next 30 years in katihar city of Bihar. Producing environment friendly waste and disposal is the main aim of sewage treatment plant. Growing in environment pollution first thing is necessary to remove the waste water presence which is recognized in the waste water study mainly domestic sewage. New treatments were processing for controlling the priority pollutant when the pollution is increase in waste water. Taking to the past the limit of domestic waste treatment is only to remove carbon. This type of treatment plant is mainly design for helping the human in removing, receiving and safety also. Including some processes like (physical, chemical, biological) to remove the contaminant depending on its constituent. With the help of advanced technology in this era reusing sewage discharge for our daily purposes is possible. The process which implies for the treatment of wastewater also protect both the environment and human throughout the removal of water pollutant. By processing different methods of treatment for water purification, it helps in getting the advanced technological world.
