This study investigates the influence of parenting styles on the development of emotional intelligence and resilience in young adults. By examining how these elements interrelate and affect each other, through a quantitative analysis of 154 participants. The research provides valuable insights into the role of parental upbringing in shaping psychological traits. The study's primary focus was to assess the connection between parenting styles and emotional intelligence in young adults. The results demonstrated a significant positive correlation (r=0.44) at the 0.01 level, indicating that nurturing, warm, and supportive parenting enhances young adults' ability to comprehend and manage emotions. This, in turn, facilitates better social interactions, emotional regulation, and adaptation to diverse situations. On the other hand, authoritarian or neglectful parenting may impede emotional intelligence development, potentially leading to challenges in emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships. The secondary aim was to explore the correlation between parenting styles and resilience in young adults. The research hypothesized a negative correlation and found a statistically significant negative correlation (r=-0.43) at the 0.01 level, suggesting that controlling parenting styles correlate with lower resilience in young adults. Despite the findings, the study also suggests that resilience is influenced by a variety of factors beyond parenting styles, such as genetic predispositions, external environmental conditions, and personal traits. These results underscore the critical role of parenting in fostering emotional growth and highlight the importance of positive parent-child interactions for promoting emotional well-being in young adults. Although resilience appears to encompass multiple dimensions beyond parental influence, the research suggests that authoritative, permissive, or uninvolved parenting styles can impede the development of coping mechanisms necessary for effectively dealing with life's challenges. Overall, this study emphasizes the importance of supportive and nurturing parenting approaches in enhancing young adults' emotional intelligence and resilience, with implications for parents, educators, and mental health practitioners. The findings offer avenues for further research into other factors influencing resilience and emotional intelligence, potentially guiding interventions and support systems for young adults.

We can see millions of visually impaired people overall world. According to the data on visual impairment by World Health Organization (WHO), there are 2.2 billion people are living with some kind of visual impairment while 36 million people are completely visually impaired. One of the major necessities of visually impaired people is reading. Many researchers have worked and even also working on developing a device or mechanism which will help and allow blind people to read the books, written or printed text. We proposed a system which will help the visually impaired people to read text by converting the text into voice signal based on raspberry pi. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a technique which can be used for detection of text from the images taken from the camera. Our proposed method is developed using raspberry pi in which we are using OCR for image to audio conversion purpose.

Micelles are treated as enzyme-like particles and micellar catalysis was used to mimic enzyme catalysed reactions. In order to get in-depth knowledge of enzymatic reactions, the electron transfer reactions were carried out in the presence of Sodium- dodecylsulfate (SDS) micelles. The micellar kinetic data shows fractional order dependance on Phenylsulfinylacetic acid , PSAA and the operation of Michaelis-Menten kinetics is inferred from the linear double reciprocal plots of k1 versus [PSAA] with finite intercept on the rate axis. The kinetic data shows first order dependence with respect to Iron (III) polypyridyl complex ,[Fe(NN)3]3+ and the rate constant is found to increase with increase in [H+]. From the study of substituent effect it is clear that both ERG and EWG accelerate the reaction rate. On applying Hammett correlation between substituent constant ? and kov of meta- and para-substituted PSAAs, a nonlinear Hammett plot was obtained. The micellar catalysis observed here is as expected since one of the reactants is a cation [Fe(NN)3]3+ and the other one is neutral PSAA . Hence, both can bind with the anionic micelle by electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions respectively.

According to Ayurveda, Living body is continuously subjected to wear and tear process. Dhatus which are being lost in physiological activities are replenished by food and water. The word rasa dhatu literally means the component of the body with nutrients and essence. There are two forms of rasa related to body physiology. Man needs to eat food to build a new Dhatus and to repair damage Dhatus. After consumption food is digested in gastro intestinal tract. Fluid formed from the digested part of food is called as Ahara Rasa. For growth, Dhatus needs nourishment, and these Dhatus are nourished by food and water. Aahar Rasa is formed in Annavaha Srotas. Aahar Rasa contains nutrients of seven Dhatus. Aahar Rasa is absorbed from Grahani (small intestine) and brought into heart. Heart is a root of Rasavaha Srotas, hence in heart, Rasa Dhatvagni transforms nutrients of Ahara Rasa into stable Rasa Dhatu. Rasa Dhatu is formed in Rasavaha Srotas. Rasa is the first Dhatu formed from Aahar-Rasa.

Any critical and nuanced analysis of what contours this discourse - security versus liberty - must begin by placing it within the legal and socio-political context of India. Inspired by the evolutionary laws of Great Britain, India inherited a complex regime of surveillance through the Information Technology Act 2000, and the Indian Telegraph Act 1885. The advent of the technological revolution has led to the use of various surveillance architecture like Aadhaar (unique biometric ID), centralized monitoring systems (CMS), air traffic surveillance (NETRA) and national intelligence grid (NATGRID), all of which have in turn, like everywhere else in the world, created concerns about safety and security on the one hand, and the right to privacy on the other. The recent judgment by the Supreme Court in the Aadhaar case, Justice K S Puttaswamy (Retd) v. Union of India, recognized privacy as a fundamental right. The judgment talks about the need for 'proportionality, legality and necessity of state action' that can be bring used to bring about a violation to an individual's right to privacy. Thus, the discourse of surveillance oscillates across time, across evolving legal regimes, and is situated squarely on the idea of the tension between surveillance to ensure freedom and surveillance to ensure guardedness. The fluidity with which India intends to keep changing and creating laws related to privacy and data protection can be seen in the passage and discussion of the personal data protection bill, which acknowledges the tension between the demand for the need to ensure security and surveillance and the need to also uphold the right to privacy within the democratic legal framework.

Pitched uneasily between political exile and promising life, the girmits created a history of being a stranger estranged by their own strangeness. Indentured servants from India were taken to far away lands to work on plantations, with little or no pay, for a specific period of time. It was imposed involuntarily other judicial punishment, sometimes a voluntarily for purported eventual compensation of debt repayment. The lives of these people changed terribly and underwent transformation which was addressed rarely. The ancestral trauma of dislocation, the treacherous journey across the sea, hardships upon their arrival, and the ongoing process of loss of identity in the diasporic setup, resulted in the direct impact on the present experience of post indenture Indians across the world. Torabully takes on the journey for self-exploration to the first stone of memory where humans were treated as 'coolies' bound for plantation colonies. He coined the term 'coolitude' to feature an extended narrative and dwell on the necessities of the memories of homeland. In this paper, I will talk about the loss of identity and pain, as found in the poems of Khal Torabully and Sudesh Mishra, who have captured this essence of indentured servants.

Face is the representation of one's identity. Hence, we have proposed an automated student attendance system based on face recognition. Face recognition systems are useful in life applications, especially security control systems. The airport protection system uses face recognition to identify suspects and the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) uses face recognition for criminal investigations. In our proposed approach, firstly, video framing is performed by activating the camera through a user-friendly interface. The face ROI is detected and segmented from the video frame using the Viola-Jones algorithm. In the pre-processing stage, scaling of the size of images is performed if necessary to prevent loss of information. The median filtering is applied to remove noise followed by conversion of colour images to grayscale images. After that, contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) is implemented on images to enhance the contrast of images. In the face recognition stage, enhanced local binary pattern (LBP) and principal component analysis (PCA) are applied correspondingly to extract the features from facial images.

WHO defines that "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity". The state of human health in a region not only depends on the number of doctors and hospital facilities but also on a clean environment .The term environment means that surrounding space and all materials in it which affect an organism. It includes all the physical and biological surrounding and their interactions. Environmental health as defined by WHO comprises those aspects of human health, including the quality of life, that are determined by physical ,chemical ,biological ,social and psychological factors in the environment. Waste is an unavoidable by-product of most of the activity. Due to rapid urbanization, the food habits of the people changed drastically towards animal protein content food items which led to the increased consumption of meat. Besides this the income and price elasticity of animal protein foods are very high this resulted growing rate of slaughtering of animals in India . Per capita annual increase in meat consumption, high meat export potential, large non-utilization of potential meat and lack of by product utilization etc. leads to many problems and constraints.
