 Abstract

Recently, remarkable types of carbon nanofilaments called carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have raised the interest of many concrete and cementitious composite researchers due to their significant mechanical, electrical, thermal, kinetic, and chemical properties. These nanofilaments are considered promising applicants to use in producing high-performance cement-based composite materials. Aim of the project is to study the effect of CNT use in concrete on the flexural strength, Compressive strength of concrete. One of the major defects in concrete bridge decks are the formation of early age micro cracking which ultimately reduces its durability. The inclusion of fibers in concrete slabs has showed satisfactory performance with improved mechanical properties and reduced early age micro cracking (EAMC). The relative high compressive strength (CS), achieved by using high cement content, is the main cause of early age micro cracking in concrete. The low tensile strength (TS) also results in less resistance to early age cracking. Other factors causing EAMC include temperature rise, water content and shrinkage strain. The EAMC can be reduced by increasing CS and TS with use of economical materials other than cement. In this work, mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), Concrete batches of 0, 1%, 2%, 3%, wt.% Glass Fibers were prepared. In this paper we study the compressive of concrete with addition of Glass fibers and Carbon nano tubes.

 Abstract

Introduction: As agricultural impediments remained continuous in Qatar due to its environmental conditions, the main objective of this study was to create an alternative to soil made out of date palm leaves. Methodology: This paper used an experimental quantitative research design to create a soil alternative out of date palm leaves, an abundant resource commonly cultivated in Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar. The leaves, containing the same elements as other lignocellulosic fibers, can support plant growth. Result: Thus, date palm leaves were an effective substitute for soil. The results of the study proved the effectiveness of the date palm leaf as an alternative to soil for the growth of the tomato plants in terms of the plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits, and length of the leaves. The date palm soil was able to grow a plant of 45.66 cm height with 90 plant leaves, 3.37 cm leaf length, and 3.9 mm stem diameter and produced 2 fruits. Furthermore, an ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test corroborated the results which derived a uniform conclusion that there was no significant difference between the use of traditional soil and the soil substitute on the effectiveness of tomato plant growth. Discussion: The date palm leaf as a soil substitute played a vital role in enabling agricultural productivity, supporting plant growth, and fostering sustainability in various environments. Recommendation: It is recommended to use a higher-powered blender, use a controlled environment, and utilize other plants.

 Abstract

Background: The prevalence rates of mechanical lower back pain is higher in the Indian population compared to global and other ethnic populations. It affects a large proportion of the population, especially women and elementary workers. Objective of the study: To determine the effectiveness of myofascial release therapy in women of age group 30- 50 suffering from mechanical low back pain for less than 12 months and to generate clinical evidence for myofascial release. METHOD: Simple random sampling of the target population was done for a sample size of 40. Women included in the study were exposed to myofascial release treatment for 3 times a week for 3 weeks. It was three- step procedure: hot moist pack (HMP) (10-15 mins), MFR (10 mins on each side) followed by Icing (5-7 mins). Pre-test and post-test data were collected for the intensity of pain, range of motion, and manual muscle stretching. RESULTS: Statistical analysis showed that the 30- 45 years age group women with an average BMI 28 showed significant improvement in reduction of pain and range of motion compared to age group 45.1- 50 years (BMI- 30.5). Muscle stretching power was also significantly improved for 30- 40 years age group women. CONCLUSION: Myofascial release therapy is an effective technique to alleviate primary symptoms of pain, improve muscle endurance and reduce movement restriction in patients with normal and overweight BMI. However, improvement in older women with an obese BMI range was not found statistically significant during 3- week therapy program.

Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate (ESO), bis(5-methoxy- 2-[(S)- [(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl)methyl] sulfinyl]-1-H-benzimidazole-1-yl)magnesium trihydrate Figure 1, A compound called esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate prevents the secretion of stomach acid. When treating conditions related to gastric oesophageal reflux, ESO is an affordable option. The first single optical isomer proton pump inhibitor, omeprazole, has an S-isomer called ESO. It has a good pharmacokinetic profile compared to omeprazole and generally offers better acid control than contemporary racemic proton pump inhibitors. Esomeprazole and omeprazole show significant similarities with respect to of pharmacokinetics, mechanism of action, and clinical efficacy. In the US, omeprazole is prescribed to treat peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and the prevention of stress ulcers1. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), but is especially suitable for people with GERD who have recurring, chronic symptoms that can be disruptive and last a long time2. Literature survey reveals esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate that is determined by RP-HPLC, LC-MS/MS, UPLC, UVHPLC, UPLC--MS/MS and UV Spectrophotometry

 Abstract

In ancient time, Indians were using astronomical instruments based on simple mechanism to measure distance of huge objects, height of huge object, to measure horizontal as well as vertical angles, positions of stars etc. Bhaskaracharya was one of the popular Indian astronomer and mathematician who developed and designed many astronomical instruments and wrote a book named "SIDDHANTA SHIROMANI" in which he recorded astronomical observations. .The resonance is a sound frequency matching concept i.e. forced = natural frequency In ancient times people realized that certain sound or vibrations create strong effects. They observed certain sounds like echoes in caves , sound from natural element had intense effect on their surroundings. In ancient times people observed resonance in certain phenomena like vibrations in a string, echo in caves, humming sound in caves, etc. Imagine our human body is like a music playing instrument having different energy centers called chakras. Metallic Bhasma, a term from Ayurveda, refers to the ash or residue obtained from metals such as gold, silver, copper, zinc ,iron through a series of purification and processing steps.

 Abstract

Proactive health monitoring and personalised data analysis are the goals of an Internet of Things (IoT) platform for wearable healthcare. Wearable sensor technology is used by the platform to integrate real-time physiological data with a secure and scalable Internet of Things infrastructure. We present the system architecture and describe its components for data acquisition, transmission, processing, and visualisation. This implementation paper describes how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were used to develop the front end of a wearable healthcare IoT project. The front end functions as the user interface that allows users to enter and view health data gathered from wearable devices. The design decisions, implementation techniques, and difficulties faced during the development process are covered in this paper. The study explores the chosen data analysis algorithms in greater detail, emphasising aspects pertaining to the interpretation of health parameters and potential risk assessment. In addition, the platform's security aspects and user privacy safeguards are looked at. An easy-to-use smartphone app visualises data, provides personalised health recommendations, and creates potential avenues for interaction with healthcare professionals. This platform empowers users through enhanced chronic illness management, personalised insights, early problem detection, early warning systems (EWS), continuous health monitoring, and improved provider-user communication. Socio-demographic data was collected and co-related with diet and exercise awareness. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software. Results: Among 80 study participants, eight were excluded from the study because of not meeting inclusion criteria. The majority of them (62.5%) were in the age group of 18-25 years. Only 13.9% of rural women were graduated. Most of the pregnant women were from the lower middle class (31.9%), and middle class (27.7%). Most of the women 48.6% and 44.4% were belonged to SC/ ST and OBC category respectively. The study reveals that 53.47% and 33% of pregnant women were found to be aware of proper diet and exercise respectively. Socio-demographic variables such as category, education, occupation, and socioeconomic status of pregnant women were found to be significantly associated with diet and exercise awareness. Women belonging to upper socio-economic group, general category, graduated, and working women were found to be most aware of proper diet and exercise requirement among all pregnant women.Awareness was not related to age, religion and type of family of pregnant women. Conclusions: The level of awareness regarding diet and exercise among pregnant women was not found satisfactory. They do not have proper knowledge and awareness about the various parameters. Improving awareness of diet and exercise among pregnant women will enable them to improve their quality of life during pregnancy, chances of a healthy delivery and postnatal life of mother and child.

 Abstract

The rapid evolution of information technology has led to an increase in cyber threats, making network security a paramount concern for organizations worldwide. Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) play a crucial role in safeguarding networks by identifying and mitigating potential intrusions. Traditional rule-based approaches, while effective to some extent, face challenges in handling complex and evolving attack patterns. In response, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques into NIDS has garnered significant attention due to their ability to adapt to dynamic threats. This paper provides a comprehensive review and analysis of various AI-based approaches employed in NIDS, including machine learning, deep learning, and hybrid techniques. It explores the strengths and limitations of these methodologies, examines their performance in detecting different types of network attacks, and discusses current research trends and challenges. Furthermore, this study discusses the importance of dataset selection, feature engineering, model architecture, and evaluation metrics in the development and assessment of AI-driven NIDS. Through this analysis, insights are provided into the effectiveness of AI in enhancing the accuracy, scalability, and resilience of network intrusion detection systems, ultimately contributing to the advancement of cyber security.

 Abstract

Abstract Women’s rights and entitlements encompass to achieve social empowerment thereby overall empowerment of women. There are many challenges to girls women to exercise their fundamental rights due to gender discrimination in addition to prevailing socio economic conditions. The perceptions towards gender roles restricted girls women to exercise their rights on par with men. Gender based violence discourages them to achieve their goals. Government initiation through various women welfare measures can remove all the barriers which girls women face due to gender bias and entitles them to exercise their fundamental rights. In this context, the present paper focuses on women’s rights in general and women’s entitlements in particular with a view to analyze how these two are interconnected and helps to achieve women empowerment and examine government welfare measures which entitles women to exercise their rights in relevance to social empowerment of women.

 Abstract

The article highlights the interconnection between the mental health of a person suffering from the grief of losing a loved one from his life, specifically focusing on demographic of unmarried person which doubles the dependency and inversely the feeling of loneliness, and the impact of bereavement upon the loss. In the particular case, examination of delusion and distorted thinking pattern as the coping mechanism to face the overwhelming loss. Through qualitative analysis, we try to explore the thought process, emotional state, unwelcome thoughts (obsessive compulsion) and the delusional beliefs. By covering all the aspects of the functioning of the mental process of the grieving person, we try to understand the role and interplay of attachment, bereavement grief and its association with mental health, especially delusional beliefs, and unwelcome thoughts. One case is discussed on the same ground. Along with that, we try to plan management regime for the individual case in consideration.

 Abstract

Investors invest their fund in the Indian stock markets directly and indirectly through mutual fund schemes. Investment in mutual fund schemes is comparatively less risk because the expert or fund manager of mutual fund schemes diversifies the risk of investment in the stock market and works on behalf of mutual fund investors for their investment in stock markets. During the year 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, total fund invested in mainly five types of mutual fund scheme in India, these are Income/Debt Oriented Schemes, Growth/Equity Oriented Schemes, Hybrid Schemes, Solution Oriented Schemes and Other Schemes. These total funds invested in this article are analysed on Net Assets under Management, Scheme Wise Growth and Significant Difference among the different mutual fund schemes. This paper shows that equity oriented schemes and index funds are preferable to investors and Net Assets under Management in different schemes are independently works in the Indian stock markets.

 Abstract

This work investigates the development and optimisation of reinforcement learning for predicting worst-case scenarios in launch vehicle simulations. Simulations take into account various environmental factors that can affect the launch, including wind conditions, temperature, atmospheric pressure and other parameters. Here we are trying to identify potential failure modes and anomalies that can occur during a rocket launch. Reinforcement learning models are trained using an objective function designed to accurately predict worst-case scenarios during a rocket launch. It also provides valuable insights into the factors contributing to worst-case scenarios, enabling targeted strategies for risk mitigation and system improvement. This approach aims to quantify the impact of individual parameters or their combinations on the predicted worst-case outcome. This paper demonstrates the potential of reinforcement learning in enhancing these launch vehicle simulations and fine-tuning algorithms to predict worst-case scenarios accurately. The developed models can inform decision-making and improve the overall resilience and efficiency of space missions by predicting and mitigating worst-case scenarios.
