 Abstract

"In modern times, there has been a strong push to endorse patient-centric personal health records systems. Its purpose is to maintain long-term personal Health records and Health improvement plans. Incorporating a cloud computing environment, this system is designed to swiftly gather personal information and transmit it to the backend for secure storage, ensuring future accessibility. However, the inherent openness of message transmission in cloud environments underscores the critical need for robust security measures to cultivate user trust and confidence. Without a comprehensive security mechanism in place, users may harbor doubts regarding the integrity of the system, thereby undermining the implementation and efficacy of long-term health plans. To safeguard user privacy against potential threats such as malicious attacks or data breaches, it is imperative to establish distinct access levels for users within the cloud computing framework. This study proposes an authentication mechanism that ensures secure and reliable access to personal health records in the cloud, tailored to each user's authority level. The proposed authentication method uses a password to allowing the owner and authorized users to log in to the system and access the relevant personal records."

 Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a complex and unique group of chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia. Type 1 diabetes is most common in adolescents (diagnosed when they are 30 years of age or younger) and is generally thought to be caused by the immune - related destruction of the pancreatic beta cells that produce insulin. Type 2 diabetes is a progressive metabolic syndrome characterized by insulin resistance and pancreatic beta cell dysfunction. Although coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of death from type 1 diabetes the mechanisms underlying the increased risk are not well. Type 1 diabetes has increased the risk of premature death, with heart disease as a major component. The risk of coronary artery disease is predisposed to a certain extent by focusing on common risk factors including hemoglobin HbA1c and duration of diabetes ,but nonetheless people with type 1 diabetes have increased risk of CHD. Over the past few years there has been much debate over whether patients with type 2 diabetes should be treated as those with high risk of cardiovascular disease, even if T2DM should be considered as equivalent to cardiovascular disease , have too many patients with untreated T2DM , and diabetic doctors are more prone to diabetes , often forgetting all those cardiovascular risk. In this review we discuss the above mentioned topic , diabetes (type 1 and type 2) with cardiovascular disease, try to give suggestions, and raise the issue of whether we should start a discussion to treat all diabetic patients such as those with high risk of cardiovascular risk , or try to combine the definition and find such variable/risk factors that can be measured to help doctors to treat those patients properly.

 Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of modern society, transforming the way we communicate, share information, and connect with others. Social media refers to online platforms and websites that enable users to create, share, and exchange content in the form of text, images, videos, and other multimedia. Initially, Social media platforms allowed people to connect online. Indian Education stands at the nexus of evolution and opportunity; foremost among the hallmarks of this transformative journey is the anticipated Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 8.46% projected between 2024 and 2032. This growth narrative crystallizes into a formidable market size of US$225 billion by the fiscal year 2024-25, marking a monumental expansion according to insights from IMARC Group and Invest India. Today, we can see education institutions adapting these developments into their systems and relying on group resources and mechanisms to improve student life. The use of social media in education helps students, teachers and parents to get more useful information, to connect with learning groups and other educational systems that make education convenient. Social network tools afford students and institutions with multiple opportunities to improve learning methods.

 Abstract

Worldwide industrialization and economic growth increase the levels of materials and energy consumption, and industrial waste damage and pollute the environment causing global warming, the greenhouse gas effect and ozone depletion. Waste and emission of water and gas caused by the supply chain is one of the main sources of environmental pollution. Organizations are pressurized to implement green in their supply chain by using processes and raw materials which does not have any negative effect on the environment and this new concept is called Green Supply Chain Management. It is defined as an approach to improve the product, process and environment of the organization which considers environmental effects and also efficiently utilizes the resources in the entire supply chain. Out of almost seventeen GSCM practices only seven practices are considered the most impactful practices in the modern era. We need to explore one by one how these seven GSCM practices influence corporate sustainability which is an approach to make long-term stakeholder value by implementing a business strategy which emphasizes the cultural, social, environmental and economic dimensions of a business. Corporate sustainability helps the companies to grow to rethink the demands and needs of evolving society and the earth and to adapt the change. Corporate sustainability is often based on three interconnected pillars, commonly called as the triple bottom line. These pillars encompass economic, social, and environmental dimensions, and their integration is crucial for achieving long-term success and responsible business practices. Economic sustainability focuses on maintaining and enhancing the company's economic viability over the long term. It involves making decisions that contribute to financial stability, growth, and profitability. Environmental sustainability focuses on minimizing the environmental impact of business operations and promoting actions for the well-being of the earth. Social sustainability involves managing a company's impact on society and fostering positive relationships with its stakeholders. It prioritizes moral and socially accountable business conduct.  Abstract

Sustainability, however, is a complex and evolving topic. The World Bank Group long-term finance unit has been at the forefront of promoting Sustainable Finance globally though data provision, analytical work, instrument design and technical assistance to support regulators and investors in our client countries to 'green' their financial systems. One of the driving forces for the growth of sustainable finance is the need to mitigate climate risk. Climate change is making its presence felt in different forms such as extreme weather conditions, water scarcity, melting icebergs, etc. It makes it imperative to develop a lower carbon economy. This requires investment in the installation of wind farms, solar parks, electric vehicle infrastructure and more. This is where sustainable finance has an important role to play. Sustainable finance is the set of financial regulations, standards, norms and products that pursue an environmental objective. It allows the financial system to connect with the economy and its populations by financing its agents while maintaining a growth objective. Sustainable Finance is the process of taking due account of environmental social and governance (ESG) considerations when making investment decisions in the financial sector, leading to increased longer-term investments into sustainable economic activities and projects (European Commission). It has become a powerful movement led by regulators, institutional investors and asset managers globally. Finance contributes to poverty alleviation through economic growth and the development of green finance is related to the sustainable development of the world economy and environment. Green finance not only helps to promote sustainable economic development but also helps reduce poverty

 Abstract

The Online Medicine Recommendation System offers a user-friendly and intelligent platform for individuals to receive personalized and trustworthy medication recommendations. With the rapid growth of the healthcare industry and the increasing reliance on digital solutions, this project presents an innovative Online Medicine Recommendation System. In the contemporary era, accessing reliable and personalized medical advice and recommendations has become imperative. The proposed system leverages advanced technologies such as data analytics and machine learning to provide tailored medicine recommendations to users. The system begins by collecting user health information, including medical history, current symptoms, and any existing prescriptions. This data is processed through a sophisticated algorithm that analyzes and identifies patterns to generate personalized medicine recommendations. The algorithm takes into account factors such as the user's medical condition, potential drug interactions, and individual preferences to ensure the suitability and safety of the recommended medications. Key features of the Online Medicine Recommendation System include an intuitive user interface, real-time updates based on emerging medical research, and the ability to connect with healthcare professionals for further clarification. The system not only aims to enhance the efficiency of the medication selection process but also promotes informed decision-making regarding health and wellness. Furthermore, the project emphasizes data security and privacy, implementing robust measures to safeguard sensitive health information. User feedback and system performance are continuously monitored and analyzed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the recommendation algorithm.

 Abstract

Recently, remarkable types of carbon nanofilaments called carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have raised the interest of many concrete and cementitious composite researchers due to their significant mechanical, electrical, thermal, kinetic, and chemical properties. These nanofilaments are considered promising applicants to use in producing high-performance cement-based composite materials. Aim of the project is to study the effect of CNT use in concrete on the flexural strength, Compressive strength of concrete. One of the major defects in concrete bridge decks are the formation of early age micro cracking which ultimately reduces its durability. The inclusion of fibers in concrete slabs has showed satisfactory performance with improved mechanical properties and reduced early age micro cracking (EAMC). The relative high compressive strength (CS), achieved by using high cement content, is the main cause of early age micro cracking in concrete. The low tensile strength (TS) also results in less resistance to early age cracking. Other factors causing EAMC include temperature rise, water content and shrinkage strain. The EAMC can be reduced by increasing CS and TS with use of economical materials other than cement. In this work, mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), Concrete batches of 0, 1%, 2%, 3%, wt.% Glass Fibers were prepared. In this paper we study the compressive of concrete with addition of Glass fibers and Carbon nano tubes.

 Abstract

Introduction: As agricultural impediments remained continuous in Qatar due to its environmental conditions, the main objective of this study was to create an alternative to soil made out of date palm leaves. Methodology: This paper used an experimental quantitative research design to create a soil alternative out of date palm leaves, an abundant resource commonly cultivated in Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar. The leaves, containing the same elements as other lignocellulosic fibers, can support plant growth. Result: Thus, date palm leaves were an effective substitute for soil. The results of the study proved the effectiveness of the date palm leaf as an alternative to soil for the growth of the tomato plants in terms of the plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits, and length of the leaves. The date palm soil was able to grow a plant of 45.66 cm height with 90 plant leaves, 3.37 cm leaf length, and 3.9 mm stem diameter and produced 2 fruits. Furthermore, an ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test corroborated the results which derived a uniform conclusion that there was no significant difference between the use of traditional soil and the soil substitute on the effectiveness of tomato plant growth. Discussion: The date palm leaf as a soil substitute played a vital role in enabling agricultural productivity, supporting plant growth, and fostering sustainability in various environments. Recommendation: It is recommended to use a higher-powered blender, use a controlled environment, and utilize other plants.
