 Abstract

This project introduces a novel approach to forecasting dissolved oxygen levels in aquaculture settings, overcoming complexities in conventional methods. Integrating Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM) with Bidirectional Simple Recurrent Unit (BiSRU), the model effectively identifies pertinent parameters while minimizing irrelevant variables through linear interpolation and smoothing. LightGBM accurately predicts dissolved oxygen content, while the attention mechanism optimizes BiSRU's hidden states, enhancing predictive accuracy. Outperforming existing models, this hybrid model offers crucial insights for regulating aquaculture water quality. Additionally, an Ensemble model combining Bidirectional LSTM, GRU, Simple RNN, and Attention mechanisms demonstrates further improvement in Mean Squared Error (MSE) compared to individual algorithms, expanding the project's potential impact.

 Abstract

The exponential expansion of internet usage has profoundly reshaped global dynamics, ushering in a new era characterized by enhanced knowledge dissemination, streamlined goods movement, and interconnected interpersonal relationships. However, this unprecedented connectivity has also spawned a proliferation of malicious activities, particularly in the realm of client-side attacks targeting websites. Traditional mitigation approaches, such as blacklisting, have fallen short in effectively combating these sophisticated threats, prompting our project to embark on the development of a robust solution. Our endeavor involved the integration of host-based, content-based, and lexical features, culminating in the implementation of a random forest machine learning model. This powerful amalgamation yielded an impressive accuracy rate of 94.7 percentage underscoring the efficacy of advanced machine learning techniques in bolstering cybersecurity defenses. By leveraging these diverse features, our model exhibited enhanced discriminatory capabilities, adept at detecting anomalies within hosting environments, identifying malicious elements embedded within web content, and scrutinizing the linguistic attributes of URLs.

 Abstract

Predicting when it will rain is crucial for warning individuals of potential dangers and enabling them to take preventative measures for their own safety. This work aims to employ machine learning algorithms to accurately estimate rainfall, taking into account the substantial effects of little or excessive rainfall on both rural and urban life. Rainfall is a complicated phenomenon that is influenced by a wide range of meteorological, oceanic, and geographical factors, making it challenging to predict. This study makes use of a variety of machine learning algorithms, such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest classifier, as well as data pretreatment techniques, feature selection, model selection, and evaluation. The aim of the project is to develop the most accurate rainfall forecast model feasible by utilizing feature selection and machine learning techniques. While the Random Forest classifier obtained 84% accuracy by using ensemble learning and decision trees, which are excellent at capturing complicated correlations in data, the SVM only reached 83% accuracy by specifying a linear decision boundary, possibly restricting its ability to handle sophisticated data patterns.

 Abstract

Children's rights are human rights. Children are akin to stars, each shining uniquely. They carry the future within their grasp, and we must nurture and safeguard their aspirations. However, child rights violations persist in society, notably child marriage being a significant social problem driven by socio-economic, cultural, and regional factors. This practice impacts not only specific communities but the entire human civilization. Despite laws in India to curb child marriage, the phenomenon persists, disrupting childhoods and hindering children's development. This paper examines the causes and consequences of child marriage in Assam, as well as government and community initiatives aimed at addressing and eradicating it.

 Abstract

Research on the integration of chatbots in the foodservice delivery industry and their impact on the customer experience remains scarce, especially at a time where the Internet of Things (IoT) is being touted as the solution to physical distance issues. Ordering meal delivery can be inconvenient, as it typically requires browsing complex menus and searching for information across multiple platforms. The goal of this research is to bridge this gap by looking at how chatbots interact with younger consumers who use OFD for conversational food delivery. The chatbot is built with Dialog flow for intent recognition and Python for backend functionality, and it uses SQL for efficient data store and retrieval. When compared to traditional techniques, the evaluation shows that users are more satisfied and spend less time browsing the app. This experiment demonstrates the potential of NLP-powered chatbots to improve the food delivery experience for both customers and app developers

 Abstract

In the Indian economy, the MSME sector plays a vital role as it creates a large number of employment opportunities and contributes a significant portion of the GDP of the nation. MSMEs are the second-biggest employer in India after agriculture. In India, 31.6 million MSME units were registered in the last three years (i.e. from July 2020 to December 2023). Financial accounting practices are one of the utmost substantial areas of management of all enterprises, whether it is small or large, to survive in the long run. This study is conducted in the Kamrup district of Assam to know the system of financial accounting practices followed by MSMEs and the impact of the level of knowledge of entrepreneurs on the accounting practices of MSMEs. Primary data is collected from 120 registered manufacturing enterprises. The study revealed that the level of awareness of accounting among entrepreneurs and the level of education of entrepreneurs affect the accounting practices of MSMEs. From the findings of the study, it is concluded that the system of financial accounting followed by enterprises, especially in the case of micro-enterprises, is not adequate to provide all the required financial information to the management.

 Abstract

This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of an herbal syrup for the treatment of jaundice. The syrup was formulated using hepato-protective herbs known for their traditional medicinal properties, including Indian barberry, chicory, and Indian gooseberry. The extraction method involved maceration to extract bioactive compounds efficiently. The formulated syrup was standardized to ensure consistent potency and efficacy, with a focus on quantifying key active constituents such as berberine. Physicochemical tests, microbial analysis, heavy metal content analysis, and stability studies were conducted to assess the quality, safety, and stability of the syrup. Preclinical studies on animal models showed promising results, indicating a reduction in bilirubin levels, improvement in liver function tests, and histopathological changes suggestive of hepatoprotection. Clinical trials demonstrated a significant reduction in bilirubin levels and improvement in liver enzymes, supporting the efficacy of the herbal syrup in treating jaundice. The findings suggest that the herbal syrup could serve as a safe and effective alternative to conventional treatment options for jaundice, pending regulatory approvals.

 Abstract

Face detection in unrestricted conditions has been a trouble for years due to various expressions, brightness, and coloration fringing. Recent studies highlight the effectiveness of deep learning techniques in overcoming these challenges, especially in identifying different features and patterns. Traditional methods like fingerprint or retina scanning are less robust in comparison. The proposed framework utilizes deep cascaded multi-task learning, leveraging the correlation between tasks to improve performance. It involves a three-layered structure of deep convolutional networks to detect faces and landmarks progressively. Additionally, your framework incorporates a novel online hard sample mining technique to enhance performance automatically during the learning process, reducing the need for manual pattern selection.

 Abstract

Dalit Women in India are discriminated due to caste built system of living specially in Indian Society where education has not reached to that height to change the mentality and behavior of both the discriminating and discriminated persons. The constructional grading of caste system not only made them sufferers of the system but also compels to accept inequality in the rigid civilization. They suffer from discrimination and Intolerance in various sectors in gender, society, economics, politics etc and deprived from their many rights of living which mandates them to live in a very unpleasant way. But in course of time and due to Government rules in favour of Dalit Development the Dalit Women are now living in a better way as compared to the previous days. India as well as the universe is awaiting that day when everyone gets equal opportunity in all respect, there will be zero violence, and the earth will become the heaven.

 Abstract

Traditional herbal treatments are becoming increasingly popular in international discourse, particularly in relation to the treatment of epilepsy. Over 50 million people worldwide are said to be afflicted by this fatal illness. Neurotransmitter molecule release and an excess of electric discharge in the brain are thought to be the causes of this neurological condition. Despite their benefits, antiepileptic medications are costly and hard to come by. Above all, one has to endure unsatisfactory consequences and worthless compromises. Numerous studies are included in this study that show how beneficial over thirty herbal remedial plants and their extracts are for treating epilepsy and preventing its repercussions. These plants go by the names Adansoniadigitata, Abutilonindicum, Vitex negundo, Allium cepa, Annona senegalenesis, Acormuscalamus, Aegle marmelos, Biophytum sensitivum, Butea monosperm, Datura metal, and Acormuscalamus. Citrus sinesis, Lobelia nicotinaefolia, Viola tricolour, Leucascephalotes, Phyllanthus marus, Pletranthusbarbatus, Ocimum sanctum, Nepetabractaeta, Nardostachys jatamansi, Mahua longifolia, Milicia excels, Citrus colocynthis, Acalypha fruitcosa, Cocos nucifera, Lobelia nicotinaefolia, Citrus sinesis, Carissa edulis, Commiphora weightti, Clerodendrum infortunatum, Desmodium triflorum, and Catharanthus roseus. Certain medicinal herbs have been demonstrated to decrease methylmaldehyde (MDA), lipid peroxidation, and enhanced glutathione (GSH). These are some of the mechanisms of action linked to epilepsy brought on by lithium-pilocarpine, pentylenetetrazole (PTZ), maximal electroshocks (MES), isoniazid (INH), strychnine, and other medications. Animal tests on these possible herbal medicines show encouraging outcomes. Clinical trials and rigorous research methods would undoubtedly result in a considerable advancement in the use of traditional herbal medicines to treat epilepsy.

 Abstract

Mindfulness is best viewed as a state of being rather than a specific activity. With conscious awareness, almost any action may be performed. The term "mindfulness," which was originally connected with Buddhist psychology, derives from the Sanskrit word "Smti," which literally translates to "that which is remembered." Mindfulness might thus be defined as remembering to pay attention to our present moment experience. Mindfulness is one of the earliest meditation approaches based on Buddhist traditions. Several studies have shown that it is effective for schizophrenia, depression, social anxiety disorder, drug use disorder, and other conditions. It also has an impact on the cognitive function of drug users and persons suffering from psychiatric illnesses. The current study was done in Kota, Rajasthan, with the goal of determining the efficacy of mindfulness-based relapse prevention therapy (MBRP) on executive function (EF) in opioid use disorder patients. A total of 40 patients were drawn from the OPD, Department of Psychiatry (n=20 for the intervention group and n=20 for the control group). The DSM 5 diagnostic criterion for opioid use disorder was used, and patients were chosen for the study based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. To determine the efficacy of MBRP on EF, data was analysed using the Wilcoxon matched pair sign rank test and the Mann-Whitney U test. Conclusion and Results: The study's findings suggested that MBRP is an effective intervention strategy for improving EF in opioid addicts in Kota, Rajasthan.
