 Abstract

This particular study we are going to research on making a healthy cookies or an healthy afternoon or morning snacks. Three trials of the research study were carried out, with the major ingredients--whole wheat flour and jaggery powder--being used in each experiment, and the amount of added fat varied to determine which trial would be most acceptable to the consumer. An effort was undertaken to create wheat jaggery cookies with value addition that had acceptable sensory qualities. According to information gathered from the sensory examination, cookies scored higher on average for color, appearance and texture, aroma, mouthfeel, taste, and overall approval. As per the proximate analysis results, the cookies had a moisture content ranging from 3.68% to 3.78%, an ash content of 0.86%-0.91%, a fat content of 7.21-9.31%, a protein content of 11.51-13.84%, and a carbohydrate content of 67.98%-73.54%. Their inflexible physical constructions are predicted to maintain the preference for PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and PP (polypropylene). An airtight container was used to packed the cookies For as long as 45 days, the cookies were warmly received. Stored for up to 60 days are wheat-jaggery cookies.

 Abstract

ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) BATTERIES SERVE AS PROMISING ENERGY STORAGE SOLUTIONS WITHIN MICROGRIDS, FACILITATING ENERGY MANAGEMENT BY ABSORBING EXCESS POWER DURING SURPLUS PERIODS (GRID-TO-VEHICLE, G2V) AND SUPPLYING ENERGY BACK TO THE GRID DURING PEAK DEMAND (VEHICLE-TO-GRID, V2G). HOWEVER, THE SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION OF THIS CONCEPT NECESSITATES THE DEVELOPMENT OF APPROPRIATE INFRASTRUCTURE AND CONTROL SYSTEMS. THIS PAPER PROPOSES AN ARCHITECTURAL FRAMEWORK FOR DEPLOYING A V2G-G2V SYSTEM WITHIN A MICROGRID CONTEXT. A MICROGRID TEST SYSTEM IS MODELED, FEATURING AN OUTLET V2G/G2V TERMINAL FOR INTERFACING WITH EVS. SIMULATION STUDIES ARE UNDERWAY TO ILLUSTRATE V2G/G2V POWER TRANSFER DYNAMICS. INITIAL TEST OUTCOMES DEMONSTRATE ACTIVE POWER REGULATION WITHIN THE EV BATTERY MICROGRID ACROSS G2V-V2G OPERATIONAL MODES. NOTABLY, THE CHARGING STATION DESIGN PRIORITIZES MINIMIZING HARMONIC DISTORTION IN THE INJECTED GRID CURRENT, WHILE THE CONTROLLER EXHIBITS ROBUST DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE, PARTICULARLY CONCERNING DC BUS VOLTAGE STABILITY

 Abstract

Coffee being one of the commercial crops is quite labour intensive. Throughout the year it needs to be maintained by couple of procedures like Pruning, Manuring, Coffee plucking, Coffee drying. Coffee pulping etc. Manuring process basically involves cleaning of dead leaves, sticks, and other waste materials which are fallen on the ground around the coffee plant stem. It also involves removing unwanted plants around it. So as to make the absorption process easier and plant root receive maximum manure content. Manuring is basically carried out twice in a year that is in the month of June and August. On an average it requires 8-9 men to complete the work of manuring of one acre coffee plantation in 2 days which on an average costs rupees 6500/- a year per acre. The traditional method involves removal of material (dead sticks etc.) around the coffee plant stem by using a shovel, then the labour put the manure using his hands. This machine focuses on doing cleaning and manuring work simultaneously. Thereby reducing the time to perform manuring by traditional method to almost 1/4 on an average. It is also affordable for poor farmers, easy to handle, and safer. Even the maintenance is also easy which drastically increases the profit of the farmers.

 Abstract

In the oral care industry, herbal products are becoming more and more popular. Several herbal components relevant to this topic have a wealth of clinical evidence supporting their usage in mouthwashes. Due to its biologic and therapeutic qualities, the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, has drawn the attention of many researchers in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and dentistry in recent years. This plant is a good option for making mouthwashes because of its anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-septic properties. We attempted to locate, assess, and classify the scant information regarding Camellia inensis mouthwashes in the medical literature in this systematic review. Using the terms tea, dental care, Camellia sinensis, and mouthwash, we searched three scientific databases and discovered 69 relevant papers, 41 of which were optimized controlled trials (RCTs), most of which suggested anti-microbial These tea preparations have analgesic and anti-plaque implications. Given the predominant pattern in clinical data and their advantageous safety profile, products derived from Camellia sinesis possess the potential to function as antiseptic, anti-plaque, and anti-inflammatory agents. As such, they may prove to be valuable mouthwashes in subsequent clinical investigations and everyday usage.

 Abstract

This study investigated the relationships between Procrastination, Study Habits, and Academic Anxiety in a sample of 150 professional Students aged 18-24. A strong negative correlation was observed between procrastination and study habits assessed through the Pure Procrastination Scale (PPS) and Study Habits Scale (SHS). Other relations were negligible with Achievement anxiety measured with Achievement Anxiety Scale (AAS). These findings, along with average scores indicating high procrastination, normal academic anxiety and Study habits, suggest the sample which report high procrastination have poorer study habits. Further research is needed to explore the complex relationships in larger and more diverse student populations, as well as factors that are involved in procrastination and achievement anxiety.

 Abstract

Tinospora cordifolia, popularly referred to as "Guduchi," possesses several therapeutic properties, such as anti-inflammatory, anti-periodic, anti-arthritic, anti-oxidant, anti-allergic,and anti-stress properties[2]. After the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of individuals developed autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), an autoimmune illness characterised by persistent inflammation of the synovial joints that leads to severe bone loss. About 5 million people are affected globally, and 50% of them lose their ability to work after 20 years of diagnosis. Because they have fewer side effects, herbal medications are currently the most popular choice for treating chronic illnesses. The majority of plants and their species that are extracted using various extraction techniques and are in some way safe for use are used in the development of herbal drugs. The goal of the current project is to create a polyherbal gel with zinger, guduchi, and honey to treat rheumatic illnesses. Using synthetic gel bases such as propylene and carbopol, triethanolamine, glycol, etc.The prepared gel was assessed for a number of physicochemical characteristics, including pH, viscosity, spreadability, extrudability, and physical appearance. A France diffusion cell was also used to conduct an in vitro diffusion investigation[3].

 Abstract

Hypertension is a serious cardiovascular event which refers to rise in the arterial blood pressure. Due to raised blood pressure, heart has to work harder in order to pump adequate amount of blood to cope up with normal body functioning. If the same is not treated, it may lead to heart-related problems and may damage the organs like kidney, brain, and eyes. It is as such not a disease in itself but is a risk factor for major cardiovascular events like heart stroke, ischemic heart disease, myocardial infarction, and heart enlargement. Several drugs in conventional dosage forms are available to treat hypertension but majority of the antihypertensive are poorly water soluble and therefore exhibits low bioavailability. These drugs are also substrate of P-gp and exhibit significant first-pass metabolism.

 Abstract

Plastic toxicity is growing global concern. Humans are constantly exposed to plastic substances through different ways by which over a period of time they accumulate in the body resulting in toxicity. This type of cumulative toxicity is dealt under the concept of Dushi visha in Ayurveda. The present article is an attempt to review the toxicity induced by microplastics and compare the same with the concept of Dushivisha explained in the Ayurveda. The exposure, pathogenesis and hazardous health impacts resulting due to plastic toxicity can be understood from the perspective of Dushi visha. This will provide a frame work for further scientific studies in treating the disorders arising due to plastic toxicity in the line of Dushi visha chiktsa.

 Abstract

Controlled drug delivery systems ensure a consistent drug concentration at the absorption site, enabling the maintenance of plasma levels within the therapeutic range. This not only reduces side effects but also lessens the need for frequent administration. Sustained-release (SR) oral products offer a distinct advantage compared to traditional dosage forms. They optimize drug properties, minimizing dosing frequency to a point where a once-daily dose effectively manages therapeutic needs. This approach ensures uniform plasma concentration, maximizing drug utility while minimizing local and systemic side effects. It accelerates the cure or control of conditions in the shortest possible time using the smallest drug quantity, promoting greater patient compliance. The development of controlled drug delivery systems aims to address challenges linked to traditional drug delivery methods. These systems administer the drug at a predefined rate, either locally or systemically, over a specified duration. Controlled release formulations decrease the necessary daily dosing frequency. Over the last two decades, there has been significant progress in controlled drug delivery systems, spanning from macro-scale to nano-scale, incorporating intelligent targeted delivery strategies. Controlled or modified release drug delivery systems enable the gradual administration of drugs over an extended duration. These systems encompass various dosage forms, including those for oral and transdermal use, as well as injectable and implantable options. Although the oral route is generally the preferred method for drug administration, some molecules face challenges like low bioavailability due to solubility or permeability issues.
