The utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) constitutes a crucial element in upholding worker safety amidst perilous environments within diverse industries. However, ensuring compliance with PPE usage can present a challenge due to the requisite manual inspection by supervisors or safety officers. Recent years have witnessed a burgeoning interest in constructing automated systems using computer vision and deep learning techniques to discern PPE usage. With this in view, the "Personal Protective Equipment Detection using YOLOv8" undertaking endeavors to forge a deep learning model that can automatically detect the presence of personal protective equipment such as masks, safety glasses, reflective vests, and hardhats. Through harnessing the YOLOv8 architecture and training the model on a dataset replete with images of individuals donning and eschewing PPE, the proposed system can accurately detect PPE usage. This can serve as a valuable instrument for organizations to ensure the safety of their employees and customers, as well as scrutinize compliance with safety regulations in public spaces. The project epitomizes the prodigious potential of deep learning in augmenting safety measures and curtailing risks throughout diverse industries.

Fringe Benefits means additional benefits provided by employer to his employees in addition to regular salary and wages. It includes various types of payments amenities, facilities and services out of which some are voluntary and some are legally compulsory according to Factory Act-1948. In India these facilities i.e., benefit classified in five major categories: 1. Payment for time not worked 2. Employee security 3. Safety and healthy 4. Personal service and family benefits 5. Old age and retirement benefits These benefits are helpful in increasing production and productivity retaining skilled and trained employee in factory employees feel mental and physical satisfaction. But in practical there is a great possibility to tax evasion in regard of fringe benefits from early state to till date. To prevent tax evasion in this regard the Finance Act-2005 introduced a newly tax Fringe Benefit Tax w.e.f. Assessment year 2006-07 which levied in the hand of employer in addition to income tax. But due to several reason it abolished by Finance Act-2009 w.e.f. Assessment year 2010-11. Then after the value of fringe benefits become part of gross salary and now it taxable in hand of employee. Through this research paper I focus challenges and remedies in valuation and taxation of fringe benefits.

there are many fake products in the existing supply chain. It is necessary to have a system for end user to check all details about product that they are buying so that the customer can check if the product is genuine or not. In recent years, Counterfeit products play an important role in product manufacturing industries. This affects the company name, sales, and profit of the companies. Block technology is used to identification of real products and detects fake products. Blockchain technology is the distributed, decentralized and digital ledger that stores transactional information in the form of blocks in many database/node-computers which is connected with the chains. Blockchain technology is secure as the data stored once in the chain is immutable therefore any block cannot be changed or hacked. By using Blockchain technology, customers or users do not need to rely on third-party users for confirmation of product authenticity and safety.

Keratin is a durable, insoluble, fibrous protein belonging to the large family of structural protein to form hair, nails, feathers, wool and horns. Keratin present in higher vertebrates (mammals, birds and reptiles). Keratin doesn't degrade in nature because of the tight packing of their polypeptide chains in alpha-helix structures and their linkage by disulphide bridges. Food industry especially the poultry farms, meat market, slaughter house and wool industries produces million tons of keratin waste. According to a literature review, keratin waste contributes to environmental pollution, resulting in the destruction of a valuable resource, a decrease in species diversity, and soil acidification with negative impact on ecosystem. In nature for overcome these problem keratinophilic fungi play significant ecological role in degrading keratin residues. Keratinase enzyme is an enzyme produced by keratinophilic fungus that digests keratin. The current findings suggest that keratinophilic fungi may play a key role in keratin degradation in the environment, and that Keratinase produced from keratin waste can be employed in the feed, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries.

This study explores the savings and investment patterns of rural consumers after the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has significantly impacted the financial behaviors of consumers, and this study aims to identify the changes in saving and investment habits among rural consumers. The research uses a mixed-method approach, including both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A survey is conducted to gather quantitative data from a sample of rural consumers, and interviews are conducted with a subset of respondents to obtain in-depth insights into their experiences. As a result, many consumers have become more cautious about investing their savings, with a preference for low-risk investment options such as savings accounts and fixed deposits. Furthermore, the study finds that the pandemic has also led to changes in consumer behavior, with many rural consumers becoming more inclined to use digital financial services. This shift is attributed to the need for contactless transactions during the pandemic, as well as the convenience and accessibility of digital financial services. In this paper, we will discuss about the harmonics measurements of such small microgrid which are part of single house along with their impacts on the supply voltage waveform. The voltage harmonic magnitudes are compared between two operation states along with the relevant standards. We will be presenting the 10 minute and 3 second average values. When compared to the grid connected mode, the harmonic voltage magnitudes are higher in the islanded mode itself and also the difference between 10 minute and 3 second average value is greater. In some cases the magnitudes of individual harmonics or the total harmonic distortion go beyond the limits. In most of the cases, the 10-minute average values will be enough to evaluate the harmonic distortion levels, however we cannot see any variations unless we use the 3 second average values.

Coral reefs are one of an incredibly beneficial ecosystems on earth. Coral reefs are important for our world for several reasons. Besides the fact that they are very scenic and attract tourists, thus they function as a very massive income in environmental and economic professional employment, such as tourism, and food, and coastal protection, and they have variant benefits for our marine environment and the world such as symbioses and a source to finding medicament A substantial proportion of the world's living species, including one-third of the reef-building corals, are threatened with extinction and in pressing the need for conservation action. In this paper we point out the importance and possible extinction. Although relatively few coral reef fishes are at risk of global extinction from climate disturbances, a negatory convex relationship between fish species locally vulnerable to climate change vs. fisheries exploitation indicates that the entire community is vulnerable to the many reefs. Techniques to restore the coral reefs impacted by human disturbance are; salvaging sponges and corals, removing loose debris from the reef, rebuilding three-dimensional (3-D) structures onto levelled-scarified reef surfaces, and transplanting sponges and corals back on the cleared reef surfaces. A substantial proportion of the world's living species, including one-third of the reef-building corals, are threatened with extinction and in pressing the need for conservation action.

The development of communication networks in distribution grids, within the framework of evolving Smart grids, makes it possible to possess a significant amount of information on an entire electrical grid, for the purpose of manual or automatic operation or for making decisions in terms of maintenance and grid development. Active management and protection of distribution networks are beginning to take a foothold in utilities in the world. In this regard, Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR) scheme is a prevalent smart grid functionality for enhancing the reliability performance of a distribution system. At the high level, FLISR facilitates faster sectionalization of a distribution feeder during a failure event and reliability improvement is achieved by limiting the exposure to or duration of outage experienced by customers connected to the feeder i.e., Self-Healing. This project introduces a Heuristic Method suitable for FLISR scheme implementation: select manually operated medium voltage isolation switches are upgraded to automated and/or tele-controllable Ring Main Units (RMU). The method assigns a Reliability Value that can be readily calculated for any manual switches under consideration. The result shows that the reliability performance with RMU is most sensitive to feeders with longest length attributes and least sensitive to the feeders with lowest capacity attributes in the network.

Each region in India has its unique fabric, which has its own cultural significance and is created using traditional weaving techniques. The Kambli fabric is woven from Deccani wool, which is inherently coarse. This study aimed to understand the shortcomings that hinder this fabric's effectiveness. To study the craft in-depth, a field study was conducted in the village of Karagaon in Belgaum, Karnataka. A systematic design intervention was formulated to devise methods to address the issues of coarseness and stiffness of the fabric. Experiments were conducted to test treatments and analyse results. The results of the experiments conclude that Kambli swatches prewashed and desized with soap nut, when agitated and scrubbed in hot water, are an effective way to reduce coarseness.
