The objective of the present investigation was to enhance the solubility and dissolution rate of glipizide, a hydrophobic drug, by solid dispersion techniques. In this study, glipizide solid dispersions were prepared using the rotary evaporation by using polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG 6000) and Poloxamer 188. The drug and polymers were combined in different ratios: 1:1:1, 1:1:2, 1:1:3, 1:2:1, 1:2:2, 1:2:3, 1:3:1, 1:3:2, and 1:3:3. These formulations were investigated for drug content, solubility, and drug release study. FTIR and DSC technique were used to assess the drug-carrier interaction. Based on the FTIR data, there was no chemical interaction observed between the drug and polymers. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that the crystalline glipizide underwent a transformation into an amorphous state. Solubility of drug and solid dispersions were determined using a phosphate buffer pH 6.8 and distilled water. As compared to pure drug, solid dispersions show the better solubility in both media. The dissolution studies were conducted for a duration of two and a half hours using the USP dissolution apparatus type-I (Basket) in a phosphate buffer solution with a pH of 6.8.

Officials in developing countries like India usually acknowledge the need for better management. However, little efforts are done to improve the situation, and changes take a long period of time. As we know, India's population is equivalent to 17.7% of the total population. With the rise of development of smart cities across India, a Smart Garbage Management system is very necessary. Since the amount of waste is multiplying day by day. It is essential to bring the best approach to manage this problem because the generated waste exceeds 2 billion tones. The existing gms in India practices collection of domestic and industrial waste and dumping into big dumping yards . Solid waste separation is done by laborers which is not so systematic, consumes a lot of time and it is not even completely feasible due to large amounts of garbage. The purpose of this research is to build a real time application which recognizes the type of waste and categorize it into defined categories.

The method of enhancing the soil's engineering qualities, such as its bearing capacity and shear strength is called soil stabilization. Because almost every structure needs a strong foundation on which it can stand firmly. Soils such as sandy soils always suffer from the problem of uneven settlement. Currently, one of the biggest problems facing the world is the disposal of plastic waste. The use of plastic waste for soil stabilization and the use of plastics as a soil stabilizer help solve environmental problems while reducing the problem of plastic waste disposal. The aim of this research is to determine how plastic waste can be used in large-scale civil engineering applications. Disproportionate plastic waste was used to stabilize the soil to improve its properties such as bearing capacity, compaction effect and shear strength parameters.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet, our life has undergone tremendous changes, and the Internet has become an indispensable part of us. With the popularity of the Internet, more and more people use the Internet to transmit multimedia information such as images [1]. Studies have shown that about 75% of human information from the outside world comes from the visual system, that is, from images. Image is not unfamiliar to us. However, in recent years, the security of image information in the transmission process has become increasingly prominent. Such image information as cases, design drawings and so on need to be encrypted when they are transmitted on the Internet. Scrambling technology is an image encryption technology. There are many commonly used image scrambling algorithms. This paper first introduces the image scrambling algorithm based on Arnold transform. Then, in order to improve the image scrambling performance, the application of Arnold transform matrix in image scrambling is analyzed. On this basis, a double scrambling image encryption algorithm based on two-dimensional Arnold transform is proposed. This algorithm uses two-dimensional Arnold transform at the same time.
