 Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the effect of Yogic Practices with Physical Exercises and Yogic Practices with Specific Skills Exercises on Mental Health of college level Badminton players The subjects (n=72) were randomly assigned to three equal groups of 24 degree college Badminton players and their age between 18-25 years. The groups were assigned as two experimental Groups that is 'A' and 'B' and one control group that is 'C.' Pre test scores were conducted for the subjects of all groups on Mental Health. The Mental Health was tested by administering Mental Health Inventory developed by Dr. Jagadish and Dr.A.K. Srivastava and the data were recorded in scores. Group-A participated in yogic practices with physical exercises (YPPE) and Group-B participated in yogic practices with badminton specific skill exercises (YPSSE) done for a period of 12 weeks. The post test scores were conducted on the said criterion variable of Mental Health after experiment. The differences between pre and post tests mean scores on Mental Health was considered as the effect of experimental treatments. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) were used to determine the significant differences in the mean scores of Mental Health of the subjects of different groups. LSD (Least Significant Difference) Post hoc analysis was utilized to identify paired mean differences where the obtained F value was found significant. In all cases 0.05 level was fixed to test the formulated hypothesis. The ANOVA and ANCOVA results concluded that both experimental groups that Yogic Practices with Physical Exercises (YPPE) group Yogic Practices with Specific Skills Exercises (YPSSE) groups significantly improved mental health of badminton players. The results suggested that yogic practices with specific skill exercises as an appropriate, easy and affordable approach for increasing Mental Health of the Badminton players. The present study would provide a scientific base and guidance to the coaches to design the training programme for badminton players for development of better mental health.

 Abstract

The paper is the original work of the authors whose intent was to create a standardized Spiritual Consciousness scale. In this paper, Spiritual consciousness is understood as an abstract and unrestrained force that instills compassion and a value system in an individual. It supplicates inner growth in an individual and helps people respect others on a soul level; thereby reverberating the concept of oneness and being a part of a more prominent energy form. Understanding the transcendental property of Spiritual Consciousness still remains a mystery, but researchers have attempted to come a little closer to it. Tools on spirituality have only focused on the belief system so far rather than the impact spirituality has on the individual itself. To make the approach of the scale more 'consciousness' centered the researchers have referred to the concept of Spirituality from both Eastern and Western perspectives along with a scientific approach to generate a well-balanced scale.

 Abstract

The women has been naturally a parallel section of the society since its inception but the society and its institutions have molded these natural provisions in to create an unnatural imbalance. The foundations of such imbalance theory has took its root from the post- Vedic period onwards in the form of various vices such as gender biases in social, cultural, religious and economic and political arena. Two thousand five hundred years ago, Buddhism created a revolution in India that is recognized in religious history as one of humankind's greatest revolutions. When Buddha started Sangha, the Buddhists predominantly consisted of men. Women did not participate in the early beginnings of Sangha, therefore, many women wanted to join the Sangha and yearned for equality. However, they could not get easy access as there was no tradition of assimilation. Therefore, Position of women in Buddhist Sangha has been debated for a long time. The present paper aims to discuss such aspects in the light of the available sources and reach some important conclusions. Looking into the different traditional sources and texts of legal character, we would come across many remarks complimentary or derogatory about woman in the society and as an individual. The main purpose of this paper is to figure out the real situation and status of women in Buddhist Sangha. There seems to be many challenges that women have faced in that era, out of which some will be highlighted here. An analysis will also be done of rules and regulations of Bhikshu and Bhikshuni. Paper will try to figure out about discrimination in sangha and if it existed then what is the justification of it.

 Abstract

The study was undertaken to review the traditional art of Bihar, termed as Sujani. Traditional designs have endless possibilities of inspiring countless innovations through re-interpretations, re-translations and adaptations. With this is mind, an attempt has been made to study the designs with contemporary style inspired from the an age old craft of Bihar region commonly known as Sujani of Bihar province of Union of India. Sujani mainly depicts stories and in the past has been used extensively to spread awareness about social issues and empowerment of downtrodden women. The crafts with Motifs, textile ornamentation presented on the traditional samples are considered heritage to the communities that adopted them. The samples were then embroidered using the designs that had thus been made. A detailed study on the potential consumers, acceptability of the designs in market and popularity of techniques was carried out and presented in the paper.

 Abstract

Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana is an initiative by the Indian government to assist the country's underprivileged by reducing their out-of-pocket medical costs. The rising cost of healthcare has a disproportionate impact on the poor, who often cannot afford even basic medical care. The low cost of the medications sold in Jan Aushadhi outlets, in comparison to the prices of name-brand medications, has proven to be a great benefit for the poor. This research looks at the difference in cost between various brands of the same salt and the generic drugs sold in Jan Aushadhi pharmacies.

 Abstract

A precise categorization of abnormal cervical cells is critical but difficult. Traditional methods rely on manual or engineered features, while convolutional neural networks (CNN) use deep learning. Prior CNN models didn't consider cell morphology, so this study proposes a CNN method that combines appearance and morphology. The cervical cell dataset was trained with adaptively re-sampled image patches. Several pre-trained CNNs were fine-tuned and evaluated on the Herlev cervical dataset with a five-fold cross-validation. The proposed method achieved higher accuracy by adding morphological information to appearance-based CNN learning, with the best model achieving accuracies of 80%, 70%, 54% and 21% for two-class, four-class, and seven-class classification tasks. Combining morphology with appearance improves classification performance, but the task remains challenging.

 Abstract

Oral route of drug administration is most favorable for most of the patients. It is easiest, convenient, patient compliance, non-invasiveness method and is preferred by most of the physicians. The oral administration of biologics yet not beneficial compared to other routes due the various gastrointestinal barriers, mucosal permeability also it limits the systemic absorption of macromolecules that are complex after ingestion. Biologics contribute in significant treatment of therapeutic interventions such as chronic ailments, metabolic disease ageing and inflammatory disorders but are highly sensitive to the harsh environment of the gastrointestinal tract; the large molecular size causes the permeability across the intestinal mucosa to become extremely poor for biologics. Various drug discovery, intensive research and design have enhanced the growth of biologics in recent decades' and have further accelerated in the way we administer the medication in a clinical settings. . Different drug delivery systems pharmaceutical technologies that include micelles, nano carriers, lipid-based carriers, and cyclodextrins have been explored to enhance oral drug absorption. This article will first address the physiological barriers to oral delivery of biologics and discusses different strategies to improve the effectiveness of oral delivery. Additionally, this discussion will extends to the various advantages and limitations of drug delivery systems as well as the overall opinion and potential of this future clinical field.

 Abstract

The issue of handwritten signature verification hasn't been fully solved despite new research in the area. In our social and legal lives, handwritten signatures are crucial for authentication and proof. Only if a signature comes from the intended recipient can it be approved. It is extremely unlikely that two signatures created by the same individual will be identical [7]. Even though two signatures are made by the same individual, many signature characteristics can change. Determining the forgery thus becomes a difficult job. Systems for checking signatures are made to identify whether a specific signature is real or fake. In this research, a signature verification method based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) is suggested. Using a CNN neural network model, we can extract a more accurate representation of the image information. Raw pictures of signatures are used to train the CNN model for feature extraction and data augmentation, and judgments are made about whether a given signature is genuine or forged. This software can be used to verify signatures on a variety of platforms, including signing loans and applications as well as legal documents.

 Abstract

Breastmilk monitoring is essential in neonatal care as it plays a significant role in the growth and development of infants. Conventional techniques for breastmilk monitoring are often labor-intensive, time-consuming, and prone to human error. Therefore, the need for an automated system that can accurately identify, monitor, and classify breastmilk has arisen. The conventional techniques for breastmilk monitoring involve manual recording of the date, time, and quantity of breastmilk. The milk is then labeled with the mother's name and stored in a refrigerator. However, this method is prone to human error, and it is challenging to track the expiration of breastmilk. In this paper, we propose an RFID-based breastmilk identification and monitoring system that utilizes a humidity sensor, a temperature sensor, and a breast milk stage classification system using a pH and color sensor. The proposed system utilizes RFID technology to accurately identify and monitor breastmilk. Each bottle / pack of breastmilk is tagged with an RFID tag that contains information about the mother, the date and time of expression, and the volume of milk. The system also includes a humidity sensor and a temperature sensor to monitor the storage conditions of breastmilk in the refrigerator. The breast milk stage classification system uses a pH and color sensor to classify breastmilk into three stages: colostrum, transitional milk, and mature milk. The pH and color sensor measures the pH level and color of breastmilk and compares them with pre-defined values for each stage. A breast milk stage classification system using a pH and color sensor provides an automated, accurate, and reliable method for breastmilk monitoring. This system has the potential to reduce human error, save time, and ensure the provision of quality care to infants.

 Abstract

While substantial research covers current control and synchronization of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) inverters, issues concerning control of the PV input voltage deserve more attention, as they equally affect the reliable and stable operation of the system. Hence, this article analyses the PV voltage regulation in the single-stage single-phase PV inverter. In contrast to previous work, the PV source influence on the input voltage dynamic is analytically formalized, exposing a potential instability when the PV source is operating in its constant current region. A traditional proportional-integral PV voltage controller fails to ensure a consistent and stable voltage regulation. On the other hand, this issue is resolved by the proposed feedback linearization based controller. The new controller is validated on a test setup comprising of a PV source emulating a 1.2 kW PV array, interfaced to a single-phase inverter connected to a grid emulator. Confirming the issues predicted by the theoretical analysis, the experiments prove two main advantages of the proposed controller. First, PV voltage regulation instability is eliminated when the PV array operates in its constant current region. Second, the PV voltage transient behavior is now independent of the operating point of the PV source.

 Abstract

Visually challenged people can lose independence and quality of life due to navigational difficulties. Navigation aids like white canes and guiding dogs have limits and require training. With deep learning and computer vision technology improving, navigation assistance systems can be improved. The ultrasonic-sensored YOLOv7 indoor and outdoor navigation assistance system helps vision impaired people navigate securely and independently. You Only Look Once version 7 (YOLOv7) and an ultrasonic sensor are used to detect and locate items in real time. The technology alerts the user to the existence, location, and relative position of items using auditory and haptic input. The real-time YOLOv7 algorithm detects things in the user's path. A wearable gadget gives the user acoustic and tactile feedback once the ultrasonic sensor identifies the object's distance and position. Real-time navigation aid in indoor and outdoor locations can improve visually impaired people's freedom and quality of life. YOLOv7 object detection and ultrasonic sensors allow the system to correctly detect and locate items, giving the user a better awareness of their environment.

 Abstract

In recent years the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) has evolved to connect commercial gadgets together with the medical field to facilitate an unprecedented range of accessibility. The development of medical devices connected to internet of things has been praised for the potential of alleviating the strain on the modern healthcare system by giving users the opportunity to reside in the home during treatment or recovery. With the IoT becoming more prevalent and available at a commercial level, there exists room for integration into emerging, intelligent environments such as smart homes. When used in tandem with conventional healthcare, the IoT offers a vastrange of custom-tailored treatment options. This paper studie srecent state-of-the-art research on the field of IoT for health monitoring and smart homes, examines several potential use-cases of blending the technology, and proposes integration with an existing smart home test bed for further study. Challenges of adoption and future research on the topic are also discussed.
