Currently, noise pollution is a major problem especially in urban area, and moreover traffic noise is the most significant source of noise in the cities. It is observed in a research that the main reason for traffic noise pollution at signal is due to the honking by vehicles which has its own adverse effects. The effects of noise pollution can be related to performance, hearing capacity, mental and physical health, aggression and many more and adds to traffic chaos. The research aims to make people aware about the problems caused due to honking as a punishment. Based on an experiment conducted by the Mumbai Police this unique way of making people aware was conducted. Analysis of the research demonstrated that the vision of reducing noise pollution at traffic signal can be achieved by using this method. The result indicated that honking has adverse impact on environment as well as human beings. On this basis, it is recommended that people should not honk more at traffic signal. Further research is needed to reduce this problem by improvising the current method according to the requirements

The depletion of oil resource as well as the environmental regulation has led to the development of alternate energy sources. In present work the performance characteristics of a computerized single cylinder diesel engine when fuelled with blends of mustard, kerosene and diesel were evaluated. Experiments were performed with different blends namely MK5, MK10 and MK15and the performance of these blends was compared with diesel oil. The various fuel properties such as Calorific value, viscosity, flash point, fire point, carbon residue and cetane number were calculated in Anacon Laboratories Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi for different blends. For analysing the performance of C.I. engine using these blends- brake power, mechanical efficiency, brake mean effective pressure, brake thermal efficiency, specific fuel consumption, torque and volumetric efficiency were found at different load. Variations of cylinder pressure with crank angle were observed at loads of 15kg, 9kg and in no load condition. Brake thermal efficiency for MK5 blend was greater as compared to diesel fuel and other blends and was least for MK15 blend. The specific fuel consumption was found minimum for MK5 blend as compared to diesel fuel and the other blends. And specific fuel consumption was maximum for MK10 blend. The volumetric efficiency reduces with increase in load and was greater for MK5 blends as compared to other blends, although it was quite less than that of diesel oil. It was found that the blends of Mustard, kerosene and diesel oil could be successfully used with acceptable performance up to certain extents in C.I. engine.

The simple homemade method was employed for extraction of juice from the raw fruits. The juice, cellulose and fibre were extracted from the fresh fruits. Generally, chemical compounds can be obtained by using solvent extraction. The juice, cellulose and fiber are the components of the beet-root, sweet potato, carrot and maize. Solid substances were obtained by heating semisolid liquids of beet-root and carrot. Solids were precipitated by crystallization from the juices of sweet potato and maize. The brownish colour unrefined sugar; jaggery/gur and white solids were prepared from juice of fruits. The fruits and its juice are rich sources of carbohydrate and vitamin. Surface morphology images of the solid substances, tiny cellulose and fibres were characterized by scanning electron microscope. The observed results of the solid, cellulose and fibre were clearly displayed on the monitor screen equipped with a scanning electron microscope SEM-EDX.

Water is one amongst the basic necessary survival elements which we need in our day-to-day life. So, our primary concern must be to save every drop of water. We must have observed in many of the societies in India due to negligence there is overflow of water from the overhead water tank. In order to solve this issue, we have built a fully controlled water overflow detection system which would help us to save a lot of water which otherwise gets simply wasted. The whole system would be quite easy to use as not much human involvement would be required in the whole process thus would save a lot of time and energy of the user. Every little update about the upper as well as lower tank will be intimated to the user, right from the tanks being empty to the filling up of the overhead tank. Even in the worst-case scenarios like if the water overflows or if there is any leakage in either of the tanks, an update would be given to the user and the motor would be automatically turned off. The user would not only get an update about the current status of the tanks and the motor on the screen but also would receive a notification via his phone.

This study is aimed at making photo Fenton mode of treatment more accessible to Textile Industries enabling them to reap profit out of this upgrading technology. The research was carried on the untreated waste effluent of textile industry for the removal of Chemical Oxygen Demand. About 70-80% COD reduction was obtained without any pre-treatment of the waste effluent at pH 3. The Experimental conclusion shows that utmost COD removal was obtained at 6:1 of COD:H2O2 concentration ratio with both the light sources. The different molar concentrations of H2O2:Fe+2 were considered among which, the efficiency was obtained at 15:1 and 20:1. For photo degradation of organic compounds photo fenton treatment could be very useful method for resultant reaction time for the procedure states.

Organizational effectiveness is the efficiency with which the organization can meet its planned objectives. Organizational effectiveness is the concept of how effective an organization is in achieving the outcomes the organization intends to produce (Mitchell, 2013). Managing people from diverse backgrounds is a critical business imperative in a globally located business. High Cultural Intelligence[CI] helps in managing a diverse workforce. CI is the ability to interact, behave and work in cross-cultural situations. Every organization has its unique objectives and culture, so it becomes essential for the organization to follow the organization's vision, mission, and goals on the one hand and keep equilibrium in getting objectives fulfilled, which results in organizational effectiveness on the other hand. Organizational effectiveness is the central part of organizational performance and organizational development, and considered for this study. The data collected through secondary and primary sources are assessed, analyzed, and interpreted based on the findings and suggestions provided. Collected Primary data through a well-structured questionnaire administered to 60 top and middle-level managers in Multinational corporations in Pune city between the period 2018 to 2020. Used Cronbach alpha to test the reliability of the questionnaire and applied the Z test to check managers' awareness regarding workplace diversity, diversity management, and Cultural Intelligence. The study undertook to check top and middle-level managers' perceptions about the importance of employees' Cultural Intelligence for better Organizational effectiveness. The majority of the managers believed that there is an effect of the CI of employees on organizational performance and organizational effectiveness. So, CI is a Catalyst for better Organizational Performance and Organizational Effectiveness and Companies should try to develop CI through Cross-Cultural Training and Diversity Training.
