Transportation has a crucial impact on a country's growth, with roads being a vital component. They play a major role in people's daily lives as many individuals travel from one place to another via roads. Neglect in maintaining the existing road infrastructure, combined with environmental changes and heavy rainfall, can lead to the formation of potholes on roads. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways reports that potholes have resulted in numerous road accidents and fatalities in recent years. To tackle this problem, our project aims to develop an automated pothole detection and dimension measurement system. Our proposed solution uses Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (M-RCNN) deep learning algorithm to detect dry and wet potholes, and image processing techniques to estimate the size of the potholes. The implementation of this system will enhance road maintenance, reduce road accidents caused by potholes, and support the overall development of the country.

This research paper explores the relationship between attachment style, emotional intelligence, and life satisfaction among young adults. The aim of the study is to investigate how different attachment styles and emotional intelligence levels contribute to overall life satisfaction in this demographic. The research design employed a quantitative approach, utilizing standardized questionnaires to measure attachment style, emotional intelligence, and life satisfaction. A sample of 200 young adults aged between 18 and 25 years was recruited from various educational institutions and community settings. Statistical analyses, including correlation and regression analyses, were conducted to examine the associations between the variables. The findings revealed significant correlations between attachment style, emotional intelligence, and life satisfaction. Secure attachment style was positively associated with higher levels of emotional intelligence and life satisfaction. In contrast, insecure attachment styles, such as anxious and avoidant, showed negative associations with emotional intelligence and life satisfaction. Emotional intelligence was identified as a mediator in the relationship between attachment style and life satisfaction. Individuals with higher emotional intelligence were found to have greater life satisfaction, regardless of their attachment style. Moreover, emotional intelligence played a compensatory role, attenuating the negative impact of insecure attachment styles on life satisfaction. Overall, this thesis contributes to the growing body of literature on attachment theory and emotional intelligence, providing valuable insights into their impact on life satisfaction among young adults. The findings offer implications for interventions and support systems aimed at enhancing the psychological well-being and overall satisfaction of this population.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) poses a significant global health challenge in the 21st century, often leading to the development of complications in affected individuals. Complementary alternative medicine (CAM), including herbal medicine (HM), is frequently utilized by diabetes patients alongside allopathic treatments. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of concomitant use of conventional and herbal medicines among patients in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. A questionnaire-based survey was conducted both online and offline, targeting patients aged 15 years and above. The findings from 129 participants revealed that approximately 53% of the respondents engaged in the combined consumption of HM and allopathic medicines, often influenced by information obtained from family, friends, and social media. Alarmingly, around 13% of participants did not perceive the importance of informing their healthcare providers about their herbal medicine use alongside conventional treatments. These findings emphasize the need for increased awareness and communication regarding concomitant use of herbal and allopathic medicines to ensure patient safety and optimize healthcare outcomes in diabetes management.

The central nervous system, or CNS for short, is among the most significant bodily organs because of what it does for the human body. Therefore, a decline in its function may lead to a variety of maladies of the CNS or other body systems that are highly significant. Drug delivery technologies based on lipids called nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) have received much study. The creation of NLCs, or nanostructured lipid carriers, was done. The diverse delivery methods for nano-based systems include parenteral, transdermal, ophthalmic, oral, topical, and topical. The creation of NLCs included blending spatially incompatible liquid and solid lipids. Improved bioavailability and higher solubility are drug therapy's key benefits over traditional carriers of NLCs. NLCs used for brain targeting NLCs for CNS diseases (glioma/brain cancer, ischemic stroke, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, migraine, Hodgkin's disease, schizophrenia, and multiple sclerosis) are discussed in this review along with their benefits and drawbacks. NLCs method, the most common categories include imperfect, amorphous, and multiple types. Solid lipids, liquid lipids, surfactants, and other excipients are also employed in NLCs. The methods used to create NLCs include high-pressure homogenization, solvent emulsification/evaporation, micro-emulsification, ultrasonication, supercritical fluid, and solvent injection. In recent years, it has drawn more and more interest.

Sales forecasting is critical for businesses involved in retailing, shipping, manufacturing, marketing, and wholesaling. It enables businesses to deploy resources more efficiently, estimate sales revenue, and develop better strategies for the future. In this research, predicting product sales from a certain retailer is done in a method that outperforms any machine learning technique. This project makes use of Big Mart Sales data from 2013.Nowadays, shopping malls and supermarkets keep track of specific item sales data in order to forecast client demand in the future. It holds a vast amount of consumer information as well as item attributes. Furthermore, regular patterns are discovered through mining the data warehouse. The data can then be utilised to forecast future sales for organisations like Big Mart using various machine learning approaches (algorithms). In this research, we propose a model based on the Xgboost algorithm for predicting sales of enterprises such as Big Mart and show that it outperforms other existing models. This project compares this model against other models in terms of their performance measures. Big Mart is a low-cost internet marketplace where users may purchase, sell, or advertise their goods. The purpose of this article is to make Big Mart a shopping paradise for buyers as well as a marketing solution for merchants. The ultimate goal is complete customer pleasure. The project SUPERMARKET SALES PREDICTION creates a predictive model that determines the sales of each product at a specific store. This model is used by the Big Mart to underpin the properties of the products, which plays a significant part in raising sales. This can also be done on the basis of the hypothesis, which should be done prior to looking at the data.

Online reviews are often the primary factor in a customer's decision to purchase a product or service, and are a valuable source of information that can be used to determine public opinion on these products or services. Because of their impact, manufacturers and retailers are highly concerned with customer feedback and reviews. This practice is known as Opinion (Review) Spam, where spammers manipulate and poison reviews (i.e., making fake, untruthful, or deceptive reviews) for profit or gain. Since not all online reviews are truthful and trustworthy, it is important to develop techniques for detecting review spam. By extracting meaningful features from the text using Natural Language Processing (NLP), it is possible to conduct review spam detection using various machine learning techniques. The majority of current research has focused on supervised learning methods, which require labelled data, a scarcity when it comes to online review spam. Research on methods for Big Data are of interest, since there are millions of online reviews, with many more being generated daily.
