Career guidance is an integral yet underrepresented part of education that helps students decide on what course they want to pursue post-secondary. In India, career guidance for students is either not available or available to only some extent because students do not have structured guidance. Moreover, the traditional career guidance is generic, sporadic, and does not cater to personal preferences of the students. This paper proposes the design and development of an Artificial Intelligence-powered Career Guidance Platform known as AI Guruji. This platform uses various features like AI, psychometric assessment, and conversation-based recommendation engines to offer personalized career recommendations to the users based on their profile and preferences. Some of the technical aspects of this platform include React18 as a frontend, Nodejs Backend, Supabase Database, and Gemini AI-powered recommendation engine. The users go through multidimensional psychometric assessments of interest, aptitude, and unconventional careers along with chatbot-powered career guidance. The user validation test revealed that most of the time students receive no career guidance at school. Moreover, all the respondents expressed an immense desire for AI Career Guidance.

U-clamps are widely used mechanical components for supporting and securing pipes, tubes, and cylindrical structures in various engineering applications. Despite their simple geometry, they are subjected to complex loading conditions that may lead to stress concentration, deformation, and possible failure. Therefore, a detailed structural investigation is necessary to ensure safe and efficient performance. In this study, a U-clamp is analysed using the Finite Element Method to evaluate its structural behaviour under different loading conditions. The analysis includes static structural analysis to determine stress distribution and deformation, along with modal analysis to study the vibration characteristics of the component. Two different cases are considered by varying geometric parameters such as diameter and mass to observe their effect on structural response. The results indicate that maximum stress occurs at the curved region of the U-clamp due to bending effects, while deformation increases with higher applied loads and lower stiffness. In modal analysis, the natural frequency is found to be dependent on the ratio of stiffness to mass, where an increase in stiffness raises the natural frequency, and an increase in mass reduces it. The mode shapes represent relative vibration patterns rather than actual displacement under loading. Overall, the study provides a clear understanding of the mechanical behaviour of U-clamps and highlights the importance of proper design selection. The findings can be used to improve structural strength, reduce failure risk, and optimize the design for better performance in real-world applications.

Campus security is a major concern in educational institutions due to the increasing number of students, staff, and visitors. Traditional manual gatepass systems are time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to monitor effectively. This project proposes a Digital Gatepass Automation System that replaces the manual process with a secure, efficient, and paperless solution. The system allows students and visitors to request gatepasses digitally, which are approved by authorized personnel and verified at entry and exit points using QR codes or unique IDs. Real-time data storage, access control, and automated logs help administrators track movements within the campus. The proposed system enhances security, improves transparency, reduces human effort, and ensures better monitoring of campus activities. In the secluded courtyards of Amroha, the history of the Gurjar community is not written; it is sung. While formal historiography remains preoccupied with macro-narratives of caste politics and land ownership, the domestic interiority and intellectual lives of rural women exist as a silent, unmapped archive. This paper addresses the academic erasure by treating Gurjar women's wedding songs as a living archive of social transition. By documenting and analyzing a curated collection of folk lyrics, the study positions these performative practices as primary sources that revealed the shifting objectives of women often excluded from elite chronicles. Using three thematic lenses- ritual sanctity, domestic subversion, and the negotiation of romantic choice, the research demonstrates how these songs function as a hidden transcript. The analysis explores how women utilize humor, parody, and rhythmic reputation to articulate positions and household hierarchies that are frequently silenced informal pros. Ultimately, this work argues that preserving these voices is a critical act of cultural sustainability. By bridging the gap between the village courtyard and academic discourse, the paper ensures that these gender histories are not erased, providing a necessary counter narrative to the standard documentation of rural India.

In today's globalized economy, organizations are increasingly characterized by culturally diverse workforces. While this diversity fosters innovation, creativity, and a broader range of perspectives, it also presents challenges in communication, collaboration, and management. Cultural differences influence key aspects of workplace behavior, including communication styles, leadership expectations, decision-making processes, and perceptions of authority and teamwork. This white paper examines common cross-cultural workplace scenarios to understand how cultural variations affect professional interactions. The analysis identifies miscommunication, differing attitudes toward hierarchy, and contrasting views on time management and teamwork as primary sources of conflict in multicultural environments. Additionally, employees from diverse backgrounds often interpret participation, feedback, and leadership differently, which can lead to misunderstandings if not effectively addressed. To mitigate these challenges, the white paper recommends implementing cultural awareness training, promoting inclusive leadership practices, and establishing structured communication strategies. It also emphasizes the importance of adopting flexible management approaches that respect cultural diversity while ensuring clarity in organizational expectations. By fostering mutual understanding, adaptability, and inclusivity, organizations can transform cultural differences into a strategic advantage. Ultimately, effective cross-cultural management is essential for enhancing workplace harmony, improving productivity, and strengthening global competitiveness.

Exploring Word-Play And Poetic Techniques In Kay Ryan's 'Turtle' Dr. Kirandeep Kaur Assistant Professor, T.S.G.G.S. Khalsa College Amritsar (Pb.), India ABSTRACT Poets create music by using different poetic techniques and word-play in poetry. Kay Ryan is one of them who has made a simple poem 'Turtle' magical by using appropriate words and techniques in describing a turtle's sluggish life journey, her stony appearance and her perseverance to overcome the hurdles on the way to success. This paper aims to explore her style in this metaphorical poem by focusing on the word-play and poetic techniques. Kay Ryan is an American poet who has published several volumes of poetry. From 2008-2010, she remained Poet Laureate of United States. She won the Pulitzer Prize for her book "The Best of It: New and Selected Poems" (2011, Grove Press 2010). It was described as a corpus stretching across forty-five years, humorous, defiant yet tender, literary output of a jovial mind. In 'Turtle', she uses the animal as a metaphor for human struggle. During one of her lectures, she admitted that she wrote 'Turtle' when she felt that her life was as sluggish and dreary as that of a turtle. She wanted things to happen fast in her life, but sadly, it did not happen. So, 'Turtle' becomes a metaphor for human struggle and perseverance. With the help of word play, she creates images to describe the animal as hard- shelled, slow moving and clumsy creature. However, in the end of the poem she acknowledges her perseverance in getting what she wants. This fifteen lined poem is written in free verse, making use of half-rhyme; there is repetition of vowel sounds like "graces" and "places" (lines 4-5) and consonant - sounds like "slope" and "hope" (lines 6-7). She delights in surprising readers by what she her-self calls "recombinant rhyme" where one word would rhyme with the back of another one. Her opinion is that words want to be together. Internal rhyme repeats itself three time: "four- oared" (line-2) "afford" (line-3), and "towards" (line-4). She makes use of alliteration, personification and enjambment. Alliteration involves the repetition of the same consonant sound at the beginning of closely connected words, enhancing musicality. For example, "hard" and "helmet" in lines (2-4) and "grasses" and "graceless" in lines(4-5) Poet's choice in referring 'Turtle' as "she" gives her human characteristics like becoming frustrated, tired, and patient. So, 'Turtle' and a human being become co-related. Continuation of a sentence without a pause beyond the end of a line or stanza or phrase, forces the reader to shift glance quickly to the next line. This technique is known as enjambment and the poet has used it throughout the poem for example, transition between lines 3-4 and also in lines 5-6. This poem leaves a powerful message that a person does not need to be fast paced to achieve the target; he just needs to keep moving slowly but consistently to achieve the goal. Slow and steady wins the race. The poet has successfully turned an ordinary poem into an enticing one where reader needs to move quickly to the next line to finish the poem. Her style has made the poem worth reading as it lends a charm to the persona of an ordinary creature.

This study examines the strategic role of language in constructing a distinct Behari regional identity during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries under colonial rule. Unlike the organic linguistic nationalism of Europe or Bengal, the multilingual landscape of Bihar encompassing Maithili, Magahi, and Bhojpuri. It was deliberately reshaped by an emerging educated middle class of Kayasthas, Bhumihars, Rajputs, and Muslim ashrafs. Marginalized within Bengal Presidency, this elite rejected philological realities documented by George A. Grierson, who classified Bihari dialects as distinct from Hindi and closer to Bengali-Odia. Instead, they adopted Khari Boli Hindi in Devanagari script as a unifying public vernacular, subordinating local tongues to challenge Bengali administrative and cultural hegemony. The Hindi-Nagri movement marked the pivotal phase, transforming script politics from Persian dominance to Nagari adoption via Lieutenant-Governor George Campbell's vernacular push and the 1880 Bengal Resolution mandating its use in Patna and Bhagalpur courts. Newspapers like Bihar Bandhu (1872) and Bihar Times (1894), alongside presses such as Khadag Vilas, standardized Sanskritized Hindi, fostering a public sphere while relegating dialects to the domestic realm. Figures like Ayodhya Prasad Khatri radicalized the Hindi canon, advocating Khari Boli poetry to bridge Hindu-Muslim divides and align Bihar with the North-Western Provinces' Hindi heartland. This linguistic maneuver countered Bengali claims of affinity, framed Bihar's "internal colonization," and justified separation demands in works like Mahesh Narayan and Sachchidananda Sinha's The Partition of Bengal or the Separation of Bihar? (1906). Educational disparities--Patna College's late founding (1863)--further propelled Hindi-medium advocacy for local autonomy. Culminating in Bihar's 1912 partition, this constructed identity prioritized political viability over cultural authenticity, sowing seeds of postcolonial linguistic alienation. The paper draws on archival resolutions, periodicals, and Grierson's surveys to illuminate elite agency in regional formation.

Skin aging can happen because of genetics or things like pollution, sunlight, and oxidative stress. People are more interested in cosmetics that use natural ingredients these days because they are safer and better for the environment. Punica granatum, or pomegranate peels, are often thrown away, but they have important phytochemicals like punicalagin, ellagic acid, gallic acid, and flavonoids. These substances are very good at fighting free radicals, inflammation, and aging. This review discusses the integration of pomegranate peel extract into serum formulation to achieve anti-aging properties. It involves getting pomegranate peels out of the fruit and testing their phytochemicals, as well as making and testing serum.
