Long before he or a loving guy could claim his body, Baldwin was taught to feel suspicious and bereaved about it. He was born in Harlem in 1924, the first son of a domestic worker named Emma Berdis Jones. Berdis married David Baldwin, a Harlem-based pastor, in 1927. Berdis had moved up to New York from Maryland, and David had come from New Orleans as part of the Great Migration. They eventually had eight more children together. Baldwin, as the eldest, was responsible for his younger siblings; he was also detested by his adopted father, who never missed a chance to label him ugly. As a result, Baldwin became a boy preacher in pursuit of affirmation -- and to outdo his father at his own game -- and quit the church at the age of 16. It never left him, though. When David Baldwin died, he was a few days shy of 19 and living away from home, still "locked up in his terrors," as Baldwin wrote in "Notes of a Native Son," his 1955 essay. "Go Tell It on the Mountain" was a remembrance of Baldwin's mother's love, his father's bitterness, and the world that formed him, the bastard child eternally seeking legitimacy while clashing with and attempting to destroy the established quo. Postcolonial thought takes numerous forms and interventions, but all of them share a fundamental claim: the society we live in cannot be understood apart from its history of imperialism and colonial control. James Baldwin's novel Giovanni's Room was published in 1956.The novel focuses on the happenings in the life of an American guy living in Paris, as well as his feelings and disappointments with his connections with other men, particularly an Italian bartender named Giovanni whom he meets at a gay bar in Paris. Giovanni's Room is notable for presenting complicated images of homosexuality and bisexuality to a reading public with empathy and artistry, encouraging a greater public dialogue about same-sex desire issues.

Women safety is an essential issue due to the rising crimes against women these days. To help resolve this issue we propose a GPS based women safety system that has dual security features. This device can not just be used by women when in distress but also by children when their travel modes are sans elders. For elderly people with issues like Alzheimer's this device can turn out to be very useful for them as well as their families. This device sends the current location of the woman/child/elderly to the family members and concerned authorities in case of any harassment faced or if in any sort of trouble. The device also has a panic button which is an in-built 400kV electric shock generator, which upon pressing will knock the assaulter down due to a sudden shock but without any fatality. The device is made using an AVR microcontroller, a GPS module, a GSM module and a high voltage generator.

ABSTRACT "The role of the judiciary in interpreting the existing laws according to the needs of the times and filling the gaps appears to be the true meaning of judicial activism" - Justice J.S. Verma The above quote indicates that judicial activism is the process that has to be a continuous never-ending process which necessarily has to be practised in the broadest interest of the citizens. This research paper explores the idea of judicial activism and its function in India's judicial system and justice administration in the country. The Indian Supreme Court's ruling on. The Supreme Court of India from being a court of positivist ideology has evolved and transformed into an activist court over the last seventy-four years of its establishment. The pertinent point here is to note that the apex court has not suddenly started operating and acting as an activist court, but it took a long journey for the apex court to gain its current position, it cannot be denied that in the journey of it being an activist court, the supreme court of India has to go through several stress and strain. The walk from a positivist court to an activist one was slow and undetectable, the political changes in the Indian democracy have worked in synchronisation with the transformative role of the court. Judicial activism is not an exception but a common phenomenon and judicial activism is the ultimate by-product of judicial review, the functioning of judicial activism shall always be within the limits of democracy. These limits are drawn by the institutional feasibility, the illegality of the intervention by the judicial and the limitations of the court's resources. Through the concept of judicial activism, the court transforms the power relations between the different organs of the government, through judicial activism the constitutional court becomes a significant democratic centre of power.

In graph theory, the game of cops and robbers is played on a finite, connected graph. The players take turns moving along edges as the cops try to capture the robber and the robber tries to evade capture forever. This game has received quite a bit of recent attention including several conjectures that have yet to be proven. In this paper, we restricted the movement of the robber in order to try to prove the conjectures that all graph is a cop win graph.

In the field of text-to-speech synthesis, a common approach for cloning new speakers is to use a conditioned TTS template that has been trained to generalize voice characteristics. This involves leveraging a speaker encoder model to derive a low-dimensional embedding from a reference speech, which captures the unique attributes of the speaker. By conditioning the TTS template with this speaker embedding, it becomes possible to generate synthetic speech that closely resembles the reference speaker's voice. This approach has proven effective in voice cloning, offering a flexible and data-efficient method for synthesizing speech with desired speaker characteristics. Recent advancements in zero-shot learning have further enhanced this process, reducing the data requirement and increasing the system's adaptability. Such developments hold promise for various applications, including personalized voice assistants and immersive audio experiences.

Now day's traffic level increases with the increasing development of population rapidly. The amount of population the utilization of personal vehicles also increased. Most of the people chooses personal vehicle than public transportation. It is very difficult and time consuming to find parking space in most city areas, commercial areas, especially during rush hours. This system will show the driver exact place to park vehicle at the entry point of parking in the screen outside of the parking. Also it counts the total number of car parking is available and show it to the display outside the parking so it will help the driver to park vehicle. Due to lack of parking spaces and skilled labor, there is a global shift towards the automatic car parking system to calculate accurate space available for car and revenue collection as a parking fees. This new scheme provides an improvement and reliability in the current car parking system and this system can be implemented easily because it is very economical. Smart parking with efficiency parking is very much exigent.

In clinical practice and scientific study, the segmentation of cell nuclei from histopathological images has been a major area of concentration for more than 50 years. Cell counting, movement monitoring, and morphological research including feature extraction and categorization all depend on automated nucleus segmentation. This provides important new information about the characteristics and capabilities of cells, leading to the early detection of diseases including breast cancer and brain tumours. Despite significant advancements in automated segmentation, it is still difficult to quickly and accurately separate a large group of nuclei and define their boundaries. Due to noise, unequal stain absorption, various cell types, and other factors, under/over-segmentations can occur in the presence of densely crowded nuclei. Our goal is to perform nuclei segmentation using U-Net Architecture.

Introduction - Strength of intrinsic muscles of the feet are necessary to maintain the medial longitudinal arch, and assists in intensifying sensory feedback to maintain balance. Poor balance is associated with weak intrinsic muscles and is a risk factor for injuries when participating in recreational activities. The 'Padukas' consists of a flat wooden sole and knob which is engaged between the great toe and second toe. Wearing 'Padukas' will stabilise the heel, ball of toes, and toes against the flat surface, therefore it can enable the intrinsic muscle to contract efficiently. This can make 'Padukas' a helpful tool for clinicians to improve foot strength and directly improve balance in a specific finely tuned and cost-effective way. Method - Experimental pilot study is conducted on 12 subjects at college campus with flat feet. Subjects with recent lower limb injury and limb length discrepancy were excluded. Subjects with navicular drop >= 9 mm and age 18- to 25-year-old were included in study. Subjects performed a 4-week protocol (3 days/week, 5 sets of 2 mins and 1 min break between each set) in the 1st & 2nd week subjects performed alternate steps back & forth . In the 3rd & 4th weeks, the subject walked with padukas. After 4 weeks protocol navicular drop test and Y balance test are performed and the pre- and post-intervention results are compared. Result - On comparison of Pre and Post intervention outcome of 10 subjects using paired t test, there is a significant reduction in navicular drop height (p<0.05) and significant improvement in Y balance (p<0.05). Conclusion - There is effectiveness of adopting ancient Indian footwear practice 'Paduka' on navicular height and dynamic balance control in young adults with flat feet.

The concept of solar power smart umbrellas is relatively new and still in the experimental stage. However, there is a growing interest in this technology due to its potential to address two pressing global concerns: climate change and the need for sustainable energy sources. By utilizing solar energy, these umbrellas can reduce carbon emissions and contribute to the transition to a clean energy future. In addition to their environmental benefits, solar power smart umbrellas offer several practical advantages. They can be used in a variety of outdoor settings, such as parks, beaches, and outdoor events, to provide shade and protect people from harmful UV rays. They can also be equipped with various features, such as built-in lighting, Wi-Fi, and charging ports for electronic devices. One of the most promising aspects of solar power smart umbrellas is their potential for use in developing countries. In many parts of the world, access to electricity is limited or unreliable, particularly in rural areas. Solar power smart umbrellas offer a decentralized solution to this problem by providing a source of renewable energy that can be used to power small electronic devices, such as phones or radios, Despite their potential, there are also several challenges associated with the development and implementation of solar power smart umbrellas. These include the cost of production, durability, and maintenance. However, ongoing research and development efforts are aimed at addressing these challenges and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of this technology.

Prosocial behavior, which refers to voluntary actions intended to benefit others, is an important aspect of social behavior among college students. This study aimed to explore gender differences in prosocial behavior among college students using a Prosocial Behavior Battery. The participants were 130 college students 65 males and 65 females all aged between 18 24 years, reflecting the unique developmental stage of emerging adulthood. The results revealed a significant difference in prosocial behavior between male and female college students, with females exhibiting a higher mean value compared to males. These intriguing results highlight the role of gender in shaping prosocial behavior among college students, with females demonstrating higher levels of prosocial behavior. Further research is warranted to explore the underlying factors and mechanisms contributing to these gender differences, which may shed light on effective interventions to foster prosocial behavior in college settings.

All wastes produced by human and animal activities that are typically solid and are discarded as worthless or unwanted are considered solid wastes. The word, as employed in this work, is all-inclusive and includes both the more homogeneous accumulations of agricultural, industrial, and mineral wastes as well as the heterogeneous mass of throwaways from the urban community. In an urban environment, the buildup of solid waste is a natural byproduct of life. This result led to the development of the $3 billion to $4 billion per year industry involved with trash management that exists today (1976) in the United States. Biodegradable waste that can decompose and will be broken down into carbon dioxide, water, methane, or simple organic molecules by the action of microorganisms in a reasonable amount of time is referred to as biodegradable trash. Residential locations, business areas, and industrial regions may all serve as sources for the wastes produced by human and industrial economic activity. Depending on where these wastes are produced, they have different characteristics. Due to differences in socioeconomic, cultural, and living conditions, the composition of garbage differs from urban to rural areas and also from community to community.

The creation of cement causes a natural issue by rising of carbon di oxide gas in atmosphere or air. The regular natural resources, for example, petroleum derivatives and normal asset devoured at cement production industries. To decreasing the impact on climate and condition, we can substitute the OPC by the waste material of industries. This waste result of industries, for example, bagasse ash powder can be replaced by the OPC. Since sugarcane bagasse ash powder has some concrete properties in extensive sum than cement. The silica content found in bagasse ash powder in high amount up to 65 to 82%. Bagasse is created at sugar enterprises in the wake of extricating the juice of sugarcane. At that point after bagasse is acquired in wet condition. The bagasse is first dried then utilized as a fuel in sugar businesses in the boiler to generate heat energy. The bagasse created warm vitality in the sugar industries. After the consuming of agasse at 600 to 800-degree centigrade, the dark black ash found and this ash is called as bagasse powderThe manufactured sand does not have any ecological impact and it is likewise conservative in compared with riverbed sand. The river bed sand has some natural impact, for example, disintegration of waterway bed so ground dilute table can be. The cost of river bed sand is likewise high in compared with manufactured sand In is research paper the bagasse ash powder is partially replaced with ordinary Portland cement in the proportion of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20% by the heaviness of ordinary Portland cement in concrete with utilizing manufactured sand. Then after we conduct the test on concrete specimen of compressive strength test and split tensile strength test at 7, 14 and 28 days and flexural strength of concrete specimen at 7 and 14 days.

Agriculture is the spine of the Indian economy and most of the population in the country is dependent on agriculture for its livelihood. The objective of this 'Remote-controlled Rover' is to provide farmers an alternative choice in the place of tractors and support various farm practices. A majority of small-scale farmers use animals like bulls and bullocks to plough and do other agricultural work. This rover is designed to replace the long-established and conventional farm machinery. This rover runs by an electric motor supplied with a suitable battery source. It is equipped to perform nearly all of the major farm practices such as seeding, drilling etc. The rover is an electro-mechanical vehicle designed to encourage farmers with advanced machinery and eco-friendly farms for higher yield. With help of this rover, we can reduce manual labour and increase the farmer's efficiency crop yield. The problem of evenly spaced sowing of seeds and digging of equally spaced furrows that arose due to the animals as they move of their wish can be overcome by the use of this rover. The seeder of the agricultural rover has the capability of delivering the seeds precisely with uniform depth in the furrow, and also with uniform spacing between the seeds.
