Abstract: In this study, the combined bending action of pairs of laminated unequal channel beams with different interfacial connections was introduced into corner-supported modular steel buildings to enhance the interactions between the adjacent beams and modules in modular buildings. These laminated beams consist of C sections acting together by bolts through their flanges. First, a series of experiments were conducted on three laminated beams, i.e. a channel beam with simple interfacial contact interactions (LB-C), a channel beam with four additional shear bolt connections (LB-C-4B), and a channel beam with eight shear bolt connections (LB-C-8B). Mechanical testing on an independent bending channel beam (ICB) was also performed as a control specimen to evaluate the structural performance of LB-C, LB-C-4B, and LB-C-8B, respectively. To further understand the flexural behavior of the laminated unequal channel beams, finite element models of the beams were developed and validated by using the experimental results. The results show that the mechanical performance of LB-C, LB-C-4B, and LB-C-8B is significantly better than that of ICB. In addition, the failure modes of the laminated beams are largely dependent on the stiffness of the interfacial connection between the floor and ceiling beams. Strengthening the interfacial interactions could enhance the flexural performance of the laminated beams. Most importantly, this study presents an analytical procedure for rapid prediction of the initial bending stiffnesses of the laminated beams.

Abstract: Now a day's many accidents happening because of the alcohol consumption of the person who is driving the vehicle. The drunk and driving is a major reason for accident in almost all countries all over the world. Alcohol detection project in car is designed for the safety of the people seating inside the car. This project should be installed inside the vehicle. In this project we have developed an automatic engine locking system. The input for the system is alcoholic breath. The controller waits for the output from alcohol sensor. Here a stimulating process activated using a dc motor through Arduino UNO, if there are any traces of alcohol above the set limit then the engine will be OFF by the system and at the same time the buzzer will on, so that we can avoid accidents. This task gives the layout and implementation of an Alcohol Detection engine locking for vehicles and cars using Arduino UNO. The current scenario shows that the most of the road accidents are occurring due to drunk-driving. The restricted ability of enforcement agents undermines each manual effort geared toward edge drink-driving. Therefore the need for an alcohol detection system that can function without the restriction of space and time. This project presents the design and implementation of an Alcohol Detection with Engine Locking for cars using the MQ3 Alcohol sensor, Arduino UNO. The system will continuously monitor level of alcohol concentration in alcohol detection sensor and thus turn off the engine of vehicle if the alcohol concentration is above threshold level. The project provides an efficient solution to control accidents due to drunk driving.

Although the planning, design, and construction of these buildings present a challenge for architects and structural engineers, the architecture on hills always appears to be beautiful, appealing, and soothing to the eyes of the people. Due to the difficult terrain, steep gradient, adverse climate, abundant flora, and susceptibility to natural hazards, the planning and design of buildings in a hill settlement is a laborious and difficult task. Various multi-celebrated structures with contemporary materials and methods are being developed in various slope settlements without regarding the unique circumstance, which influence wellbeing and prosperity of occupants and cause extreme harm to delicate climate in and around slope settlements. In environmentally sensitive hill settlements, the building regulations that are enforced to control development and reduce its negative effects on the environment are contextually inappropriate and lead to contextually inappropriate development and environmental degradation. Since vernacular practices are shown to be supportable, subsequently taking illustrations from reasonable vernacular practices for new turn of events and detailing of building guidelines for accomplishing relevantly proper and manageable improvement in slope settlements is fundamental. The methods used to plan, design, and build buildings in India's hilly regions are the subject of this study. In this paper subjective examination technique has been utilized.

Transportation and industries use more fossil fuels, degrading the environment. Many scientists and researchers are interested in developing renewable energy sources. This article examines the pros and cons of first- and second-generation biofuels research and development products in relation to feedstocks and process technologies. Biodiesel, ethanol, bio-oil, syngas, Fischer-Tropsch H2, and methane may be made from agricultural plant byproducts, microalgae, and other biomass wastes utilising thermo-bio-chemical processes. Industrial and transportation biofuels reduce fossil fuel consumption. A scientific review suggests making biofuels from energy crops and microalgae. Genetic engineering has made large-scale biofuel manufacturing more likely. However, large-scale production is still difficult, thus cutting-edge technology is needed to convert biomass into biofuels to meet present and future energy needs. Second-generation biofuels (2G) are seen as a solution to the rising dispute about 1G biofuels. Second-generation biofuels may not be sustainable. Controversies can draw attention to crucial, often value-related questions that need to be answered to solve larger societal difficulties, according to Science and Technology Studies study. This study examines how 1G biofuel debates affect 2G biofuel sustainability assessments. We address the biggest issues with 1G networks, how they apply to 2G, and the challenges policymakers have in directing the shift. We investigate possible friction points along the bioenergy value chain and the social environment in which bioenergy research and policy are produced to fill gaps in sustainability evaluations.

Foundries produce Waste Foundry Sand (WFS) or Used Foundry Sand during the metal-casting process. Typically, metal foundries recycle and reuse around 70% of their foundry sand, with the remaining 30% being fresh sand. Foundry sand consists of high-quality silica sand mixed with a binder, and it is used to create molds for ferrous and nonferrous casting. The properties of used foundry sand vary based on factors such as the equipment used for processing, the types of additives used, and the type and amount of binder used. This study aims to explore the possibilities of using foundry sand in sustainable and cost-effective concrete. Foundry sand is mainly composed of silica sand coated with a thin layer of burnt carbon, residual, and dust, and it can be utilized as a partial replacement for cement or fine aggregates, or as a total replacement for fine aggregates. By replacing fine aggregate in varying proportions of 10%, 20%, and 30%, this project aims to achieve concrete with properties similar to regular concrete in terms of strength and durability.

The soleus is a powerful muscle in the back part of the lower leg (the calf). It runs from just below the knee to the heel, and is involved in standing and walking. It is closely connected to the gastrocnemius muscle and some anatomists consider them to be a single muscle, the triceps surae. The soleus muscle is a wide flat leg muscle found on the posterior leg. It runs from just below the knee to the heel and lays immediately deep to the gastrocnemius. These two muscles, along with the plantaris muscle, belong to the group of superficial posterior compartment calf muscles. Soleus' contraction results in strong plantar flexion. It also allows us to maintain an upright posture due to its important role as an antigravity muscle. The calf muscles (soleus muscles) are known as the "second heart" because they are important for returning venous blood from the periphery to the heart. It is also known as peripheral heart. So this article focusing the peripheral heart i.e. soleus muscle.

An electronic circuit employing an Arduino board can be used to create the temperature-based fan speed control system. Due to an increase in the use of electrical equipment in both home and commercial appliances, the consumption of electricity has reached a high level. Electricity conservation and management are significant since power is essential for a country's industrial and economic development. In this work, Arduino board for fan speed control because it is now one of the most innovative electronic circuits available. The proposed system is built to measure the room's temperature and transmit that data to the Arduino board. The Arduino board then runs a programme that compares the current temperature to the set temperature. With an Arduino board and an LM-35 temperature sensor, this project suggests how to create temperature-based fan speed control and monitoring. The suggested work uses a microcontroller to dynamically and more quickly adjust the speed of an electric fan. The LCD utilised in the project makes it user-friendly and displays temperature changes as well as the fan's efficiency in real time. As a result, this project helps to conserve energy and utilise less of it for its intended purposes

Abstract: Arya Samaj, (Sanskrit:"Society of Nobles' ') vigorous reform movement of modern Hinduism, founded in 1875 by Dayananda Saraswati, whose aim was to reestablish the Vedas, the earliest Hindu scriptures, as revealed truth. In Hyderabad it was established to act as a training ground for workers and also credited the leaders associated with the nationalist movement in Hyderabad. In Suryapet of Nalgonda dist. Some leaders want to establish Arya Samaj mandir. For that they buy one building. Bommagani Dharmabiksham played a key role with the support of Nakirekanti Ramalingam, Uppala Venkanna, Kodati Venkateshwara Rao. This mandir became the centre of young leaders, students and social reformers. These leaders try to stop animal slaughter during the festival of Dasara in Dora gadis. Keshav Rao koratkar along with Aghoranatha Chattopadhyaya and Pandita Sreepada Damodara Sathyalekar undertook many political, social and educational reforms. Sathyartha Prakashika translated into Telugu. Through its magazine Vedic Adarsh Arya samaj propagated the legacy of ancient Indian culture. The Nizam prohibited Arya samaj activities. Even though there is huge pressure, it worked successfully and gave birth to good freedom fighters and leaders.
