 Abstract

The soil ecosystem is a complex and diverse environment teeming with microbial life, playing a crucial role in nutrient cycling, plant health, and ecosystem functioning. Understanding the factors that influence microbial diversity within soil ecosystems is essential for elucidating the intricate dynamics of soil microbial communities. One such factor of interest is the variation in plant species inhabiting a particular soil environment, which has been shown to significantly influence microbial community composition and function. This dissertation aims to investigate the diversity of microbes present in soil when different species of the same plant are potted, shedding light on the intricate relationships between plant species and soil microbial communities. The study employs a multifaceted approach, integrating both field and laboratory techniques to comprehensively assess microbial diversity. A series of pot experiments are conducted, wherein soil samples are collected from pots harboring different species of the same plant. Next-generation sequencing techniques, such as 16S rRNA gene sequencing for bacterial communities and ITS sequencing for fungal communities, are employed to characterize the microbial diversity present in the soil samples. Additionally, physicochemical analyses are conducted to evaluate soil properties that may influence microbial community structure and function. In conclusion, this research underscores the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in studying soil microbial ecology, providing valuable insights into the mechanisms driving microbial diversity in response to plant species variation. By elucidating the intricate relationships between plants and soil microbes, this study advances our understanding of soil ecosystem dynamics and informs strategies for sustainable land management and biodiversity conservation.

 Abstract

Generating animation from capture human motion. important problem in computer graphics. The creation of these virtual characters is different from traditional 3D animation but is based on real character movements and expressions. An overview of several mainstream motion capture systems in the field of motion capture is presented, and the application of motion capture technology in film and animation is explained in detail. The current motion capture technology is mainly based on complex human markers and sensors, which are costly, while deep-learning-based human pose estimation is becoming a new option. However, most existing methods are based on a single person or picture estimation, and there are many challenges for video multiples on estimation. The experimental results show that a simple design of the human motion capture system is achieved.

Sustainable tourism is a paradigm shift towards ethical and ecologically responsible practices meant to lessen the adverse effects of tourism on the environment and nearby communities. This extensive paper explores the complex interplay between social justice, economic viability, and environmental preservation as it dives into the many facets of sustainable tourism within the hotel industry. The analysis shows how important aspects like waste management, community involvement, energy and resource efficiency, and cultural preservation interact to support a more sustainable tourism model. In the context of the hotel industry, the research also examines how technology might improve sustainability initiatives, from digital platforms that promote community involvement to energy-efficient infrastructure. In addition to outlining the advantages of implementing sustainable tourism practices, this paper offers practical advice for hotels looking to incorporate sustainability into their operations by looking at successful case studies and industry best practices. In the end, the study advances knowledge on how the hotel sector can be a key player in promoting sustainable tourism by balancing economic expansion with social and environmental responsibility. Resource management and conservation methods play a crucial role in the hotel industry's implementation of sustainable tourism. The study investigates cutting-edge strategies to lessen hotels' environmental impact, including the use of eco-friendly building materials, watersaving techniques, and renewable energy sources. The integration of green certifications and standards is emphasized, emphasizing their significance in demonstrating a dedication to sustainability and satisfying the demands of environmentally concerned tourists. The objectives of this study encompass a comprehensive approach to enhancing sustainability in the hotel industry. Firstly, the focus is on reducing environmental footprints through waste minimization, eco-friendly practices integration, and efficient resource use, aiming to provide actionable steps for hotels to support environmental sustainability actively. Secondly, community engagement and socio-cultural integration are targeted, exploring ways for hotels to interact positively with nearby communities, support small businesses, and contribute to cultural preservation, thus fostering constructive socio-cultural exchanges. Thirdly, guest education and awareness programs are designed to raise visitors' understanding of hotel sustainability practices, encouraging ethical decisions beyond their stay. Fourthly, technology integration is investigated to leverage digital platforms, energy-efficient technologies, and smart building systems for sustainable operations and communication. Fifthly, the importance of sustainability certifications and standards is assessed, guiding hotels on becoming and maintaining certifications to build credibility with environmentally conscious consumers. Additionally, the study explores the economic viability of sustainable practices, debunking the myth that sustainability is costly by highlighting financial benefits like resource efficiency and market distinctiveness. Lastly, policy advocacy and regulatory compliance are examined to help hotels navigate the regulatory landscape and align with broader sustainability objectives, promoting cooperation with governmental bodies for sustainable tourism development. Within the hotel sector, social responsibility is yet another essential component of sustainable tourism. The study looks at programmes to interact with local communities, such as fostering employment possibilities, supporting small companies, and promoting cultural heritage. Approaches to building constructive partnerships between hotels and the communities they serve are examined, with a focus on mutual gain and inclusive growth. The methodology utilized for the study involved a random sampling procedure, where individuals were selected through emails, in-person meetings, and completion of a questionnaire. Various tables, charts, and graphs, including pie and bar diagrams, were used to present survey conclusions. The bar diagram, in particular, depicted rectangular bars of proportional length to represent comparison factors. The research focused on clients who travel, assessing their satisfaction with services. The main tool was the questionnaire, and a sample of 159 regular hotel-traveling clients was analyzed. The paper also discusses the changing tastes of contemporary tourists, who are looking for experiences that are genuine and meaningful. Some respondents are willing to pay a premium for certified sustainable hotels, while others are willing to allocate a percentage of their income for this purpose. Community involvement in sustainable projects is seen as crucial for socio-cultural integration and local economic growth. Motivations for choosing sustainable hotels include authentic experiences, personal ideals, and environmental conscience. Awareness of sustainability practices is mainly obtained through online sources and direct interactions. Encouraging eco-friendly behaviors through rewards and practical solutions is seen as effective. However, there are divergent views on whether hotels should prioritize sustainability over price considerations. Positive word-of-mouth marketing is likely for hotels with strong sustainability practices. Respondents also emphasize the role of governments in promoting sustainable tourism and the importance of green certifications. Areas for improvement in sustainability include waste management, energy efficiency, and reporting transparency. Transparent communication of sustainability efforts and offering sustainable dining options are valued by respondents. Guest involvement in sustainability initiatives and participation in sustainable activities are encouraged to promote a sense of responsibility. Hotels can enhance sustainability by focusing on factors like staff training, waste reduction, and community involvement, while providing information for guest contributions and prioritizing sustainable practices like waste minimization and energy efficiency. Incorporating sustainable architecture and design is also seen as important for reducing environmental impact. Finally, the study debunks the myth that sustainability reduces profitability by examining the financial advantages of sustainable tourism for the lodging sector.  Abstract

In this study the seismic response of reinforced concrete structure using steel bracing considering soil structure interaction to increase the horizontal stability of structure and rigidity of the structure. In which it is assumed that the building is fixed at it bases, but in reality the soil medium allows movement to some extent due to its property to deform. Therefore, this may decrease the stiffness of the structure and hence may increase the natural periods of the system. Thus, the process in which soil influences the movement of the structure and further this movement of structure influence the response of the soil is termed as Soil-Structure Interaction. Using X-type bracing in mid positions and with effect of SSI and without of SSI to strengthening the R.C. structure .

 Abstract

The majority of the design efforts for near radix-8 Booth multipliers have so far focused on systems that rely on ASICs. The performance improvement that would be achieved with ASIC-based systems would be far greater than with FPGA-based hardware accelerators when using these multipliers, since they are defined as approximations. Reason being, FPGAs and ASICs are fundamentally different in their architectural concepts. Using high-performance approximation radix-8 Booth multipliers, this short proposes FPGA-based solutions to address this gap. Hence, two approximations of radix-8 Booth multipliers, AxBM1 and AxBM2, are suggested. Utilizing the 6-input lookup tables (LUTs) and supporting carry chains on FPGAs to their maximum potential requires the use of approximation. The delay performance of AxBM2 is 49% better than that of the previous top FPGA-targeted design. By combining truncation with AxBM2's complementary errors function; we were able to obtain energy savings of up to 60%. We can more precisely resolve the previous state-of-the-art error-energy Pareto front and get higher energy gains for any given error constraint. In an example study with the suggested multipliers and Sobel edge detection, AxBM2 was able to detect 98.45 percent of edges while reducing energy consumption by 26.41 percent

 Abstract

A roving survey was conducted to monitor the pesticide residues in honey samples collected from the honeybee colonies kept in onion fields and the markets of Nashik, Pune and Ahmednagar districts of Maharashtra, India during 2023. A total of 30 field samples (10 from each district) and 9 market samples (3 from each district) were collected and analysed for a total of 201 pesticide residues using MRM LC-MS MS. The result indicated that five samples among 39 were detected with the pesticides above quantification limits among which two were market samples. No pesticide residues were found in the samples gathered from Nashik district. However, samples collected from Pune district revealed the presence of spinosad (0.013mg/kg), fipronil (0.275 mg/kg) and carbendazim (0.012mg//kg). In Ahmednagar district, the samples showed the presence of imidacloprid (0.016 mg/kg), IN-J9Z38 (a metabolite of cyantraniliprole) (0.060), and carbendazim (0.018mg/kg). Considering the increasing concern regarding contaminants in food, especially pesticide residues in honey, urgent measures are needed to establish standardized Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for pesticides in honey which will play a pivotal role in ensuring food safety and safeguarding public health.

 Abstract

The enactment of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) in 2016 revolutionized the resolution of insolvency and bankruptcy cases in India, introducing a structured approach to the process. A pivotal aspect of the IBC is the Waterfall Mechanism, delineating the hierarchical distribution of proceeds from the sale of a corporate debtor's assets. This paper delves into Section 53 of the IBC, elucidating the prioritization of claims ranging from insolvency resolution costs to equity shareholders. Emphasizing the equitable treatment of stakeholders, the mechanism ensures that secured creditors are given precedence while also addressing the claims of unsecured creditors and other interested parties. Recent amendments, notably the inclusion of homebuyers as financial creditors, underscore the dynamic nature of the IBC in response to stakeholder dynamics. As the IBC evolves, ongoing reforms and judicial interpretations will refine its efficacy in managing corporate insolvency and bankruptcy cases in India.

 Abstract

Every Rebellion gives birth to a revolution, and it creates history and teaches a lesson to the oppressor. The freedom movement of India gives birth to many revolutionaries who fought against British Raj and their system to get freedom. One such revolution took place in Jharkhand. One of the indigenous tribes that had long since inhabited the area was the Munda tribe. The Legendary hero of the Munda tribe, Bhagwan Birsa Munda created history by playing a role of Savior, Protector of tribal Culture, Defender of tribal administrative Structure and economic system. He raised the voice against the transformation of the tribal agrarian System into the feudal state around the Chhota Nagpur area. His achievements are even more remarkable for having been accomplished before the age of 25. The Aim of this paper is to understand the contributions of the legendary 'Bhagwan Birsa Munda' in struggle movement, who made a remarkable contribution to promoting tribal rights through tribal freedom movements and how he gave a right vision of nation.

 Abstract

This study investigates the feasibility of utilizing sawdust as a sustainable material in the construction industry by incorporating it into block production. The focus is on enhancing the strength properties of sawdust blocks by adding lime, clay, and CaCO3 as stabilizers. The experimental procedure involves preparing different mixtures of sawdust, lime, clay, and CaCO3 in varying proportions. These mixtures are then compressed into block forms by tamping manually. The blocks are cured at room temperature. To evaluate the strength properties, the compressive strength of the blocks are tested according to relevant standards and their physical properties test for clay such as sieve analysis, specific gravity & lime test are carried out. Preliminary results indicate that the addition of lime, clay, and CaCO3 contributes significantly to enhancing the strength characteristics of sawdust blocks. The incorporation of these stabilizers improves the cohesion between sawdust particles, resulting in higher compressive strength. This study provides valuable insights into the potential of utilizing sawdust blocks as eco-friendly building material, offering a sustainable solution for construction while reducing environmental impact. Further research is recommended to optimize the mixture proportions and explore additional additives for enhanced performance.

 Abstract

Electronic waste (e-waste) refers to the disposal of broken or obsolete electrical and electronic components and materials. E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life." Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, CDs, copiers, mobiles, fax machines, microwaves,s and other similar appliances are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, reduced, and recycled. E-waste is now the fastest-growing waste stream in the world. The UN has called it a tsunami of e-waste. Currently, only a few countries have a uniform way of measuring this waste. There are concerns about the availability and supply of new materials for electronics and electrical devices in the future. Yet e-waste contains many high-value and scarce materials, such as gold, platinum, cobalt, rare earths, and high quantities of Aluminum and tin. E-waste presents a potential security threat to individuals & exporting countries and poses a critical issue in terms of solid waste management. Certain components of some electrical and electronic products contain materials that render them hazardous, depending on their condition and density. The processes of dismantling and disposing of electronic waste in developing countries like India led to a number of environmental impacts. Liquid and atmospheric releases end up in bodies of water, groundwater, soil, and air; therefore affect both domesticated and wild animals on land and sea, in crops and drinking water eaten by both animals & humans, and harm the ecosystem. Rapid innovation and lowering costs have dramatically increased access to electronic products and digital technology with many benefits. This has led to an increase in the use of electronic devices and equipment and the creation of e-waste. E-waste comes from many sources including households, businesses, and governments. E-waste is the toxic legacy of our digital age. It's high time to fix the problem.
