Now a days, in biomedical applications silver nanoparticles are of great interest. Nano particles are tiny materials having size ranges from 1 to 100 nm. The present study biological synthesis of silver nanoparticles by using Capparis decidua and identification of the antioxidant activity of the nanoparticles. Synthesized silver nanoparticles are characterized by UV visible spectrophotometer, FTIR. The antioxidant property of silver nanoparticles of Capparis decidua stem extract was checked by DPPH free radical scavenging activity.

The short-term study was made for a period of 3 months from November 2020 to January 2021 to assess the crustacean species composition of the Dharmadam coast, Kannur District of Kerala. Total of 20 species of crustaceans belonging to order Decapod has been identified, which belongs to 13 genera that spread over 7 family. Among the families identified, Penaeidae is the dominant one. There are 10 species of crabs belonging to 5 family and 6 genera have been recorded. Of the 5 families, Portunidae was the most dominant followed by Matutidae, Menippidae, Dotillidae and Grapsidae. There are about 3 species of hermit crabs were recorded at Dharmadam coast belonging to family Diogenidae. The present findings reveal that the commercial important decapod crustaceans especially shrimps and crabs population was predominant in the Dharmadam coast of Kerala when compared to non-edible crustaceans population.

ABSTRACT: Background and objectives: Neck pain is major problem for the public health and its rate is steadily increasing. The underlying causes can be structural or functional disorders whereas some patients cannot get benefit from the current treatments. The aim of the study is to assess and compare the effectiveness of Muscle energy technique and Kaltenborn mobilization in non specific neck pain to reduce pain and improve function. Methodology: 90 subjects with non specific neck pain between the age group of 20 to 45 were selected and randomized into three groups (group A, group B and group C). Subjects included both females and males and were screened initially and those fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in the study. Group A (n=30) received muscle energy technique while group B (n=30) received Kaltenborn mobilization and group C (n=30) received conventional therapy for 2 days a week for 3 weeks. Pre and post assessment of pain and function were measured at baseline and after 6 sessions for both the groups using VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) and NDI (Neck Disability Index) score. Results and Conclusion: There was statistically significant difference showing improvement in mean of VAS and NDI before and after intervention within groups and there was statistically no significant difference when the post intervention means were compared between the groups. The study was concluded that both MET and kaltenborn mobilization were found to be significant compared to control group in reducing pain and improving neck function in subjects with non specific neck pain.

The gut microbiota (moreover alluded to as gut flora) is the populace of microscopic organisms that colonizes the human intestine. As the significance of the gut microbiota is getting to be progressively apparent, considers have been carried out with the point of picking up a more comprehensive understanding of the possibly destructive impacts of antibiotics on this fundamental biological system. Clearly, antibiotics have bactericidal and bacteriostatic properties against pathogenic organisms. But agreeing to later examinations antibiotics moreover do have a tremendous effect on our gut microbiota particularly on the health advancing good microbes. They halt microscopic organisms within the intestine from making proteins, partitioning, making cell walls, and transporting nutrients and also can make gaps within their cell wall or membranes. A few pathogenic microscopic organisms create antibiotic resistance which may be a genuine issue these days. Hence humans intend to intake probiotics after an antibiotic course to maintain their gut microbiota. In this paper, I have reviewed the microflora in vertebrates and the various probiotics that have a positive action on them after the antibiotic effect.

The problem of arsenic contamination in ground water is the serious problems of every country in the present time. The contamination of drinking water supplies with natural occurring arsenic is major health problem. In the present paper, authors have analyzed the arsenic contamination in district Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. The complete study is divided in three categories of arsenic namely Category-I (satisfactory), Category-II (risky) and Category-III (critical). For this, authors selected ten study sites (Palhana, Phoolpur, Rani ki Sarai, Azmatgarh, Pawai, Sathiaon, Tahabarpur, Tarwa, Thekma and Palhani) of district Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India with two types of samples from shallow water and deep (India mark II) water. Results are presented in the tabular form and show that eight sites (Rani ki Sarai, Azmatgarh, Pawai, Sathiaon, Tahabarpur, Tarwa, Thekma and Palhani) out of ten study sites of district Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India lie under Category-III for both types of shallow and deep (India mark II) water. Phoolpur is the only site which has satisfactory arsenic water contamination. The shallow water of all ten study sites of district Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India is not fit for drinking without processing.

After the Industrial Revolution during the 18th and 19th centuries, the genesis and the implementation of the cooperative movement in a modern technical sense can be traced. Hermann Schulze and Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen during their economic downturns have taken shape, as cooperative banks worldwide, to provide small enterprises and poor parts of society with easy credit.

A medical as well as a social event is an epidemic. Medically, it appears in numbers far larger than normal to a severe, often fatal, disease. Socially, it disturbs a community's life and causes insecurity, fear, guilt and flight. In ancient Greek, epi manifes means "to the people or to the community." The eymology of the word itself suggests its wider, more social meaning. QOL is important in general women and particularly in rural women because HIV has now been infected with antiretroviral (ART) therapy.

HIV - AIDS interferes with the body's ability to fight infections. The virus can be transmitted through contact with infected blood, semen or vaginal fluids. Within a few weeks of HIV infection, flu-like symptoms such as fever, sore throat and fatigue can occur. Then the disease is usually asymptomatic until it progresses to AIDS. AIDS symptoms include weight loss, fever or night sweats, fatigue and recurrent infections.

Cooperative banks play an important role in the Indian financial system. A cooperative bank is a financial institution which is simultaneously owned by its members. Co-operatives consist primarily of persons belonging to some professional group of the area who share interest in rural finance to meet the last person in the last village. The Cooperative Movement can only gain impetus in 1954, when the RBI approved the recommendation of the Every India Credit Survey Committee. This is a valuable tool to reach all the citizens.

Lactobacillus sp. were isolated from curd sample and identified. These bacteria are lactic acid producers and are essential in foods as they increase the nutritional value of the product. Lactobacillus sp. is probiotic bacteria which when consumed confer a health benefit to the host. Probiotics benefit humans by improving the gut micro biota balance, stimulating immune system and also has antibacterial activities. The lyophilized form of Lactobacillus sp is added to chocolate in two varieties thus probiotic milk chocolate and probiotic dark chocolate are made. Probiotic chocolates are a way to add good bacteria to the body. Probiotics consumed along with chocolate increases good gut bacteria and improves the overall health.
