After the introduction of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization (LPG) Policy in India in 1991, telecom sector in India has undergone a spectacular transformation and continue to grow at a rapid pace. The number of internet subscribers in the country increased at a CAGR of 21.36% from FY16 to FY20 to reach 743.19 million in FY20. Total wireless data usage in India grew 11.01% quarterly to reach 25,369,679 TB in Q1FY21. Keeping these in view, the present study analyzes the genesis or origin of Indian Telecom Sector, its secondary development of Telecommunication, development and milestones and examining the role of liberalization and privatization in telecommunication industry in India.

She held a coffee cup for change and a worn cardboard sign that read- “I USED TO BE SOMEONE”. In an endearing tale of love and redemption, Paul Bettany’s Shelter recounts the harrowing experiences of the countless multitude of the many nameless and faceless inhabitants through Tahir and Hannah. The movie addresses the emotional and psychological ordeals of a refugee in both literal and metaphorical sense and the associated phenomena of homelessness. The paper endeavours to problematize the phenomena of homelessness by delving deep into the bi-fold depiction of the said phenomena through two characters scrounging for their identity that is both lost and undermined in a ruthlessly fleeting city.

The lockdown has hit the tea industry of West Bengal, with losses in revenue. In the sectors and regions which are already reeling under poverty, the Corona virus and subsequent lockdowns on work and mobility have become an added curse. One such sector in India is the tea gardens of West Bengal. The Primary focus of the study is to find out the actual situation of the unfortunate workers who are completely dependent on the tea garden industry.

The article describes the psychological well-being of elderly people in Palakkad district of Kerala. Elderly is a natural process that starts with intrauterine life and continues till death. This stage of life consists of physiological, psychological, sociological and chronological changes (Dolu and Nahcivan, 2019). Elderly is also termed as the period of stress and strain. Psychological problems are common among people who are more than 55 years of age this is due to biological changes and social changes they face in their life (Orben, et.al., 2020). Thus it is essential to sort out the problems of elderly by providing them proper psychological care and support. Psychological well-being is a complex and personal phenomenon which forms as a result of human activity in the system of real relationships with surrounding objects. This well-being focuses on fulfillment of human potential (Granow, et. al., 2018). Thus in the present descriptive study psychological well-being of elderly was examined.

Internet of things(IoT) is a network that consisting of billions of devices, which provides an opportunity to an intruder to manipulate the IoT system on a large scale. It can be described as, the connection of things or devices across the internet to deliver upon an assigned function. This mainly comes in the form of devices sending or receiving data. At the hardware layer, an attacker gets access to the IoT hardware and retrieves the keys or security parameters stored inside the IoT device. The attacker can recreate a duplicate or virtual IoT device using the stolen security parameters. The duplicate IoT device can upload false data to the server and retrieve secure information about the user from the server or the network to which the IoT device is connected. The aim of this project is to provide a two-level and session-based secure data communication. To provide a secure data communication between IOT devices and cloud and between different IOT devices by creating permission based block chain and hashing the data which is being shared by different IOT devices. In this application we propose a novel cryptographic ledger based framework for IoT device data sharing and communication and planning to implement the prototype of our proposed framework using Hyper Ledger Fabric and evaluate its performance.

It is has been observed that the canteen that we manifest in our day to day lives, while in an educational institution has many drawbacks such as long serpentine queues, congestion due to the rush in peak hours etc. We propose an automated system which would surpass the current hassle by an automated web based system which will maintain, manage and process orders of customers in a speedy way using a website and its stored database. The project Canteen Management system helps the users to book their food earlier. The users have to book their food on the e-menu card. As soon as they book their food the order will be sent to the chef for preparing it. The existing system consists of the manual system that involves the paper work of the billing system and maintaining the files too. In the proposed system the payment is online and the e-menu will be available for the users. The users will have the username and the password through which they can book. This project will help in demonstrating the route from adapting materials to developing an online environment. This brings all necessities in one place that benefits both the user and the canteen owner smartly. We apply principles and techniques of recommendation systems to develop a content-based filtering model with the help of customer ratings.

India is a country where almost around 70 percent of its population lives in rural area and 60 percent depends on agriculture and so, micro-finance carries a great potential to play a major role in providing financial services to the poor and lower income individuals. Financial services like loans are provided to those who are parts of small businesses or micro-businesses to promote empowerment among the marginalised section of the society. Micro-finance is often regarded as a useful tool for socio-economic upliftment in a developing country like India with also the aim of improving financial inclusion. It is also expected to play a significant role in poverty alleviation and development. This study attempts to explore the much-debated questions which revolve around the role of microfinance institutions and its performance in the development of India through the use of secondary data collection. Micro finance programs are treated as a key strategy in addressing development issues across nations since the 1970s. Therefore, Microfinance institutions (MFIs) play a major role in strategies related to women empowerment and poverty alleviation. The various programmes under microfinance like self-help groups (SHGs) are promoted and inspired for their significant economic impacts on empowering people to promote entrepreneurship among them. This paper investigates the impact of microfinance access on three dimensions of women empowerment, which makes influence upon decision making on the issues of credit, expenditure, savings, etc. The paper is an attempt to address the question whether the Microfinance actually reaches to the root of poverty and improves the standard of living for the people who are considered to be the poorest of poor. This paper also analyses the growth and the outreach of these microfinance institutions in terms of economic development and growth.

Changes in precipitation and atmosphere has gotten extremely sporadic for the most recent decade. Indian ranchers need to utilize fake strategies called savvy horticulture, to handle these in ongoing periods. Right now method, we will utilize Internet of Things (IOT), club it with the rising, remote systems administration idea, Message Queuing Telemetry Tracking (MQTT), to screen the ongoing agrarian condition. Quickly creating IOT is applied in numerous remote situations. A Remote Monitoring Station (RMS), which consolidates web and remote correspondences, is proposed. The significant point is to gather prompt information of rural field climate utilizing MQTT, CC3200 by Texas Instruments and sensors, send it to the RMS, with the goal that the ranchers can be educated about legitimate support of the fields and accordingly keep up perfect yield developing condition.

Different keyboards are available in the market, with variations in size, layouts, programs, and functionalities. Recently, virtual keyboards are also in use but for every single keyboard, the user should remember the arrangement of keys in order to enter different characters. A Remote-based gesture keyboard is a system that serves on the Internet of Things [IoT] architecture and embedded with Arduino as well as the accelerometer and machine learning process that enforces the system to perform in the desired direction. The remote-based gesture keyboard is the model, where the user can enter text and numbers in a text editor by moving a hand to the specific motion of characters in the air using Arduino. Arduino operates as a remote where gestures relocate into the air, translating into letters, and exposing them on a computer screen.
