The Stork species are large sized wetland dependent birds belonging to Family Ciconiidae of Order Ciconiiformese. These birds are characterised by long legs, large bill and body but are unable to produce sound except hissing, moaning and clattering at nest. Presently the population of many avian species are on decline mainly due to climate change, habitat destruction, wetlands degradation, change in land use pattern, loss of nesting trees, habitat fragmentation and competition for food, use of pesticides and other anthropogenic activities like poaching. Lesser Adjutants are colonial breeders. Survey of nesting breeding population of Lesser Adjutant was conducted between August 2012 to March 2021 that include nine breeding seasons in Bokaro and neighbouring Districts of Jharkhand state. This survey reveals increasing and expanding population trend of the vulnerable Lesser Adjutant stork species within Bokaro District and neighbouring Districts as well as state like West Bengal. It is evident that habitat and climatic factors of Bokaro and adjoining area is supportive to the Lesser Adjutant storks.

Tomatoes are among the most essential crops with a substantial market value that get grown in huge amounts. They are widely grown and consumed not only in India but also all around the world. The main factor influencing this crop's production quality and quantity is disease. In previous studies, only the leaves of the plant were considered to identify diseases but, in some diseases, it's only the fruit that gets affected while the other parts of the plant just look fine. Identifying the disease with the naked eye sometimes leads to an inaccurate prediction, resulting in applying the wrong pesticide, which might spoil the plant. The unavailability of experts in many of the locations makes it difficult for the farmers to identify the disease. Despite experts being available in some regions, it's a time and cost-consuming process. Detecting the diseases earlier would reduce their effect on plants and raise crop productivity. Therefore, it is crucial to correctly diagnose these diseases and apply the right pesticide. An automated system can be used to solve these problems. To address this issue, we have come up with a system that uses a convolutional neural network (CNN) to identify the disease and suggests a pesticide to help eliminate that disease. This system implements a CNN since it provides the highest level of accuracy.

The first generation of modern English poets, who established a new poetics for themselves and made a fresh start in both theme and style around the 1960s, includes Kamala Das (1934-2009), who belonged to this generation. One of the post-colonial era's most influential voices is Kamala Das. The best depiction of the suppression of feminine sensitivity in a society ruled by men can be found in Kamala Das' poetry. As a result, much of her work is autobiographical and confessional, while occasionally she makes the personal universal. In this study article, Kamala Das describes how she protests against social norms that are designed to oppress women in this artificial environment. In her poems "An Introduction" and "Stone Age," Kamala Das expresses a strong sense of self-awareness as a woman, challenging conventional ideas of what it means to be a woman and reshaping public perception of the mystery around femininity. Her poetry captures the fervour of a bold rebel who refuses to back down or give up. Her life's passion and eloquence, as well as her lyrical accomplishments, have demolished male chauvinists and inspired her female counterparts both inside and outside of the social, cultural, and religious framework. Because of this, her life and poems provide an engrossing case study in the devastating condemnation of the restrictive laws that specifically target the freedom, respect, and dignity of women.

In recent decades, as a result of climate change and mismanagement, water scarcity and drought have become more frequent, affecting both humans and biodiversity drastically. Alternative, new technologies were urgently needed to overcome the rapidly increasing global water scarcity. Atmospheric dew water is a potential source of potable water, as the earth's atmosphere contains thirteen thousand trillion litres of fresh water (98% in a vapour state). The stainless steel single-shelf solar pyramid system was here to extract water from the atmospheric air by using different types of hygroscopic materials placed on the shelf. The hygroscopic materials are silica gel, calcium chloride, and rice. The pyramid sides were opened at night to allow the moist air inside from the atmosphere and closed during the day to extract the moisture from the material by solar radiation. The experimental study was investigated to study the effect of the stainless steel pyramid shape on the absorption and regeneration processes. Preliminary results have shown that the calcium chloride absorbs more water from the atmosphere as compared to the silica gel and rice.

Language teaching has evolved significantly with the advent of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), mass media, and cinema. This article explores the role of these tools in enhancing language learning and instruction. ICT, including computers, the internet, and various digital applications, has transformed language teaching by providing learners with interactive platforms for practice and engagement. Online language learning platforms, language exchange websites, and educational apps offer learners opportunities to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in authentic contexts. Additionally, ICT facilitates access to vast language resources, authentic materials, and multimedia content, enriching learners' language exposure and cultural understanding. Mass media, such as television, radio, and newspapers, play a crucial role in language teaching by exposing learners to real-life language usage and current affairs. News broadcasts, documentaries, and interviews provide authentic language samples, fostering listening comprehension and vocabulary development. Moreover, newspapers and magazines offer reading materials that introduce learners to different writing styles and genres. Cinema, as a powerful visual medium, contributes to language teaching through its ability to engage learners emotionally and culturally. Foreign language films expose learners to authentic dialogue, accents, and cultural nuances, aiding in listening comprehension and speaking skills. Additionally, films provide a window into the target culture, promoting intercultural competence and understanding. While ICT, mass media, and cinema offer numerous benefits to language teaching, educators must employ them strategically and critically. Teachers need to select appropriate resources, develop suitable activities, and guide learners effectively to ensure meaningful language learning experiences. Integration of these tools within a pedagogical framework can enhance language acquisition, motivation, and learner autonomy.

The love, memories, and nostalgia associated with food find embodiment in the figure of the mother across various narratives. Many Malayalam films depict the mother figure, emphasizing her culinary skills and showcasing some of her signature dishes. Consequently, a loving and nurturing mother is often defined by her culinary expertise. This paper explores how films contribute to the gendering of cooking by perpetuating the notion of an 'ideal' mother who is deeply rooted in her culinary prowess. Interestingly, the act of 'women eating' is rarely depicted in films, which predominantly focus on idealized mothers and idyllic wives. Consequently, this paper also seeks to examine instances of women eating onscreen to understand better how eating practices have become gendered, sexualized and stigmatized. The simple act of 'women eating' itself becomes an act of resistance since women have historically been associated with cooking, serving, and being in the background both on and off the screen.

Since its 1994 signing, the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) Agreement has significantly influenced the development of the world's patent system. TRIPS implementation, however, has been a contentious topic, particularly in underdeveloped nations where obtaining affordable medications continues to be difficult. This paper examines the impact of TRIPS Agreement (Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights) in relation to developing countries There has been a great deal of discussion and worry about how Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) affect access to medications in developing nations. This paper will explore the research already in existence and examine how TRIPS has affected access to medication in developing nations. The study explores how parallel importing, compulsory licencing, and patent protection are affected by TRIPS. While it has made it easier for generic medications to enter the market, it has also made it more challenging for developing nations to use parallel importation and compulsory licencing to increase access to medications. In order to guarantee access to medicines in underdeveloped nations, authorities should investigate alternative methods like differential pricing and technology transfer.

During the Covid-19 era, everyone grasped the significance of non-contact health monitoring technology. Despite adhering to social distance rules, it is unacceptable to use the same gadget to track each patient's HR because each patient has a unique health condition. We then came up with the notion of measuring Pulse rate using a webcam and image processing to resolve all these concerns. We attempted to create such a system from scratch using the Python programming language, which helped us comprehend the area as well as its benefits and drawbacks in comparison to other biometric authentication techniques. After conducting research, we chose to utilize the OpenCV library for Python and Face API for face recognition because the project's requirements precluded us from utilizing a system that could consistently perform both detection and recognition. The human body's cardiovascular system inspired the concept of passive physiological parameter monitoring. Because of the circulatory system, the heart can continuously pump blood throughout the body. When our heart pumps blood through every blood artery in our body, the color of the skin on our faces varies with each heartbeat. Therefore, it is possible to determine the HR from the color fluctuation of facial skin. Heartbeat, i.e., cardiac pulse measurement is one of the most frequent examinations performed in health care monitoring. Electrocardiography (ECG) and Photoplethysmography (PPG) are the procedures currently utilized in mainstream medicine to monitor heartbeats. Heart rate is the frequency of a heartbeat over a given period. Every person's heart rate is different depending on their circumstances, age, and time. Monitoring the variations in heart rate can be used to measure physiological characteristics, emotional arousal, and cardiac issues. The different heart rate measuring techniques are categorized as follows: (1) Contact 2) Non-contact. Contact approaches are the ones that are most frequently employed for heart rate extraction. This technique employs several sensors that come into direct contact with the human body. ECG sensors, pulse oximeter sensors, and other similar devices are some examples of contact-based heart rate monitoring systems. Optical sensors are used in non-contact procedures, which do not involve placing anything on the human body. Non-contact technologies like laser, radar, and microwave doppler require highly precise sensors. Laser light and radar signals have certain detrimental effects on human health. One of the greatest methods is HR monitoring without any physical contact. Computer algorithms are used to process images and increase the accuracy of digital photos and movies. It is possible to use a considerably wider variety of algorithms to handle the incoming data without experiencing issues like signal distortion and noise accumulation. Evaluation is made simpler and more affordable by being able to determine Heart Rate variability from a simple recorded facial film. With our strategy, we present a fresh way to solve all these issues. This innovative approach, which is based on automatic face tracking and blind source separation of color channels into separate independent components, can be used on color video recordings of the human face. We were able to achieve high accuracy and correlation even in the presence of movement artefacts and various lighting conditions when we compared the heart pulse rate derived from the color films captured by a very basic camera to a pulse oximeter and fitness band.
