: Earthquake around the world is one of the reasons liable for the damage to life and property in hefty numbers. In order to lessen such menaces, it is paramount to integrate norms that will enrich the seismic performance of the structures. Seismic waves will be influxes of energy that move through the Earth's layers, and are an aftereffect of earthquakes, volcanic emissions, enormous avalanches and huge man-made detonations that give out low-recurrence acoustic energy. Several other common and anthropogenic sources make low-plentifulness waves usually indicated as surrounding vibrations. Seismic waves are studied by geophysicists called seismologists. Seismic wave pitches are charted by a seismometer, hydrophone (in water), or accelerometer. Seismic Retrofitting is the amendment of pre-existing structures to make them more resilient to seismic movement, ground motion, or soil failure due to tremors. Seismic retrofitting is the change of prevailing structures to make them increasingly resistant to seismic movement, ground motion, or soil failure because of earthquakes. With better understanding of seismic attention on structures and with our current encounters with massive earthquakes close to urban centres, the need of seismic retrofitting is all around documented. Techniques such as RC jacketing which is addition of steel reinforcement in existing columns to increase its bearing capacity and hence protect it from seismic activity. Shear walls are constructed from the ground up to increase the seismic resistance of a building while not disturbing its aesthetic view.

In India, the deaths of young adults due to heart related problems has become a pressing issue. The reason behind the high fatality rate of this issue is the unpredictability of heart attacks, and how time is of the essence. We could therefore, reduce the fatality rate here if somehow the person was warned beforehand about the possibility of heart related ailments, and get a check up as a preemptive measure, before the situation even gets more serious. A machine learning model which has been trained with data of patients suffering from cardiovascular disease, and those not suffering from it, has been implemented to tackle this issue.

There has been an increase in sale of two-wheeler vehicles in India in recent past due to fast economic growth. India is the second largest producer of two-wheelers in the world. Majority of Indians, especially the youngsters prefer motorbikes rather than cars. In India every month nearly 3-lakh motor cycles are sold. It is the world's second largest manufacturer of motorcycles after China and there are eight key players in the Indian markets. Understanding consumer behavior in the present scenario is extremely important as it is no longer a simple task. Unless a marketing manager has the knowledge of the factors that affects consumers purchasing patterThis study discusses the changes in the two wheeler markets and buying motives of two wheeler buyer. The kitchen is very important place in a house. Safety factor is the main aspect that must be taken into account during the activity in the kitchen. The existence of gas leakage, uncontrolled fire and excessive temperatures must be quickly identified and addressed. The purpose of this research is to make prototype of kitchen security system using Internet of Things. The system is designed using 4 types of sensors. IR Flames sensor is used to detect fire, MQ2 sensors are used to detect gas leakage, and Load cell is used to detect level of grocery items. The sensors output are then connected to the Arduino which will control the relay. The relay acts as a fan switch in the event of a gas leak, uncontrolled fire and excessive temperature increase. Under these conditions, Arduino will also turn on the alarm and the led, and send SMS to the user by GSM module

It goes without saying that media, irrespective of its various forms, has created a significant impact on the lives and lifestyles of the public. As the world is still struggling with COVID-19, it becomes increasingly important that we learn to live with it. Media is considered to be a magic multiplier of information dissemination (Wilbur Schramm, 1964) and so, in such a crisis situation, the media assumes an important role. The aim of this study is to explore the impact of media in bringing certain changes in hygiene habits of urban youth due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this study, a survey of 200 participants (18-24 years of age) residing in different cities of West Bengal was carried out. Specifically, this paper argues that media vehicles are important factors that contribute in disseminating instructions and government guidelines of preventive measures in the fastest possible way. The results support the conclusion that during the COVID-19 crisis, the media has played a significant role in spreading awareness, preventing infection, changing the hygiene habits of the youth at large like never before.

Malaria is a disease which is transmitted to people by the bites of female Anopheles mosquitoes. The major symptoms of malaria are fever, tiredness, vomiting, headaches. If it is very severe it can cause the patient to go to coma or cause death. It is preventable and curable. With the normal malaria detection methods, requires a lot of effort in differentiating infected and uninfected cells. Typically, it is really difficult to carry out this process in rural areas. Machine Learning is application of Artificial intelligence which that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. The primary aim is to allow the computers learn automatically without human intervention or assistance and adjust actions accordingly. In this paper we have modelled using four models basic CNN , SVM , and other two models with deep transfer learning . The pre trained with image augmentation gives an accuracy of 96.1 %.

The widespread adoption of smartphones has replaced desktop computers and laptops as the first component of the computer, due to mobility, regular communication and application versatility. Mobile devices include extensive data storage including sensitive objects such as verification credentials, photos, videos, personal information, activity details, and much more. Therefore, protecting data stored on mobile devices becomes a serious problem. In this update, we are investigating the safety of the Android storage model between 2013 and 2018. Several threats are found in literature that can be classified as physical or software threats. Interest in the blockchain has hit the top levels recently. While most of the buzz has been around for blockchain use like cryptocurrencies and ICOs, the technology itself is exciting. The blockchain provides democratized trust and authentication protocols that have already disrupted banking and are at risk of adding health care, financial services, social apps and more. We use BlockChain and IPFS to store Hash values and files, secure file transfers can also be obtained.

A cursory glance at human history makes it very clear that civilizations are born as human beings, reach maturity and growth, and collapse and die due to more internal causes. The death of civilizations is something that history has talked about a lot and it is called forgotten civilizations. In the science of history and more in the philosophy of history, the issue of how the causes and factors of the emergence, flourishing and destruction of civilizations are mentioned and history analysts study these causes and factors. According to them, the mentioned causes and factors are natural and in the field of events related to natural and human laws. But in intra-religious analysis, looking at causes and factors is done from another angle; The Qur'an, with the aim of guiding human beings, looks at events from an educational point of view. On this basis, each of the events is closely related to the issues of punishment and encouragement of human beings and finds meaning and meaning with monotheism and its belongings. Although it is necessary to look at the events and their causes from the perspective of philosophy of history and natural traditions and laws, but these traditions are closely related to human actions and behavior. In a comprehensive analysis, although earthquakes, floods and other natural disasters are related to natural laws, but human actions are effective in its creation and emergence, and these actions can have a positive and negative impact on natural laws and nature. Hence, human behavior and actions can cause the rise and fall of civilizations in a serious way. In intra-religious analysis, God has a permanent presence as the source of all events, and human behavior causes changes in natural causes and factors. Therefore, the issue of the emergence, flourishing and destruction of civilizations from this perspective needs to be analyzed, which will be addressed in this article.

As per technical evolution and latest trends taken into consideration, here effectively created an advanced innovative system i.e. Design and development of Ultraviolet Sanitization device. The aim of the present work is to contribute in the fight against the spread of Covid-19, a novel human coronavirus, in hospitals, public transport, airlines, and any enclosed areas. In this study, we have adopted the physical disinfection method by using UVC light as agent. The UVC devices are studied and classified according their disinfectant units, complementary devices, combined disinfection agents, mobilities, and order types. Our finding shows that this device is the most efficient to inactivate microorganisms, so we have developed a device called UV-C sanitizer. The column is fixed on a base where several sensors are integrated to measure temperature and humidity on the one hand, and on the other, to detect motion plus position and to avoid obstacles. The device can estimate automatically the disinfection time. UV-C sanitizer device disinfects rooms and equipment with ultraviolet light, and shuts down when humans are around to keep them safe. The robot can kill 99,999% bacteria and various through UVC lamps led.

Ride-sharing is a service that enables drivers to share trips with other riders, contributing to appealing benefits of shared travel cost and reducing traffic congestion. However, the majority of existing ride-sharing services rely on a central third party to organize the service, which makes them subject to a single point of failure and privacy disclosure concerns by both internal and external attackers. The proposed system enables drivers to offer ride-sharing services without relying on a trusted third party. Both riders and drivers can learn whether they can share rides while preserving their trip data, including pick-up/drop-off location, departure/arrival date and travel price. However, malicious users exploit the anonymity provided by the public blockchain to submit multiple ride requests or offers, while not committing to any of them, in order to find a better offer or to make the system unreliable. Proposed system solves this problem by introducing a time-locked deposit protocol for a ride-sharing by leveraging smart contract and zero-knowledge set membership proof. In a nutshell, both a driver and a rider have to show their good will and commitment by sending a deposit to the blockchain. Later, a driver has to prove to the blockchain on the agreed pick-up time that he/she arrived at the pick-up location on time. To preserve rider/driver privacy by hiding the exact pick-up location, the proof is performed using zero-knowledge set membership proof. Moreover, to ensure fair payment, a pay-as-you-drive methodology is introduced based on the elapsed distance of the driver and rider. In addition, we introduce a reputation model to rate drivers based on their past behavior without involving any third-parties to allow riders to select them based on their history on the system.

Quantum Gravity tops the list of most soughted research stream in the field of theoretical physics and cosmology. Democritus explained the fundamental building block of our universe was atoms some 2000 years ago. Pythagoras interestingly but contrastingly stated that everything emerged from music and the universe is nothing but symphony of strings. There seems to exist a underlying regular pattern and symmetry in everything in the cosmos. Physicists and Mathematicians try to decode this information present in reality. A complete Theory of Everything which is also known as Quantum Gravity has to be deciphered. Two most suitable candidates of Quantum Gravity are string theory and the Loop Quantum Gravity theory. Recently physicists believe that both these theories are two sides of a same coin and synthesis of these will give the ultimate Theory of Everything. Philosophers like Sri Vethathiri Maharishi explain reality on the basis of their Intuition.
