A workplace that assures a congenial work culture and ethics is always welcoming. However, this ambiance does not form on its own. We have to create that ambiance. One way is to see that we work joyfully and professionally with our colleagues. If this is done, there is a possibility to avoid stress. If we can create this situation, it is obvious that the innate talent is presented in the work. The possibility of creating such ambiance becomes a reality, if only we adopt the assertive approach rather than aggressive approach. Assertiveness as a skill helps one to overcome the pushes made by colleagues and superiors. It is undoubtedly a handy tool especially for the students as they are about to get into the industry where there is a possibility that every person would like to push and influence the other in many ways to complete the job. The students on becoming employees in the industry should not be aggressive in their approach in undertaking various jobs but rather apply their negotiation skills and see that their tasks are completed successfully to the appreciation of their colleagues and their superiors. This is where they need some guidance on assertiveness as a skill. This paper presents a detailed account of some observations and research conducted in the Advanced English Communication Skills Lab while imparting insights into assertiveness as a skill for the III. B.Tech. students of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.

Authentication is a significant issue in system control in computer-based communication. Human face recognition is an important branch for biometric verification and has been widely used in many applications, such as video monitoring system, human-computing interaction, and door control system and network security. Students attendance in the classroom is very important task and if taken manually wastes a lot of time. There are many automatic methods available for this purpose i.e. biometric attendance. All these methods also waste time because students have to make a queue to touch their thumb on the scanning device. This work describes the efficient algorithm that automatically marks the attendance without human intervention. The face is the identity of a person. The methods to exploit this physical feature have seen a great change since the advent of image processing techniques. The accurate recognition of a person is the sole aim of a face recognition system and this identification maybe used for further processing. This attendance is recorded by using a camera attached in front of classroom that is continuously capturing images of students, detect the faces in images and compare the detected faces with the database and mark the attendance.

Every human being has the tendency to save to protect him from risks or events of future. Insurance is one form of savings where in people try to themselves against risks or uncertainties of future. Health insurance is insurance against the risk of incurring medical expenses among individuals. By estimating the overall risk of health care and health system expenses, among a targeted group, an insurer can develop a routine finance structure, such as a monthly premium or payroll tax, to ensure that money is available to pay for the health care benefits specified in the insurance agreement. Insurance is related to the protection of the economic values of the assets.

Face recognition is an important application of the Image process in growing to its use in many fields. Identification of individuals in an organization for the purpose of Payment is one such application of face recognition. The prevalent techniques and methodologies for Payment involves Frauds and Handling of Cards and remembering long passwords. The proposed system aims to overcome the pitfalls of the existing systems and provides features such as detection of faces, a secure payment web application, a user-friendly system. In our facial identity project, a computer system will be able to find and recognize human faces fast and precisely using Web Camera (i.e Live Detection). Numerous algorithms and techniques have been developed to improve facial identity performance, but the concept to be implemented here is Deep Learning. It helps detect the user's face by retracing it with the stored coordinates while doing the payment process. The details of images and personal details are stored in the database. Live Detection of Face is involved while storing and retrieving the face coordinates. Facial identification makes the Payment method very simple for users. In addition, there will be two different portals in our system. The system includes the Admin portal and User portal. In Admin-portal, there is one admin from one particular bank (say ICICI). Admin has four different options, first to view the List of Customers, second to Add User, third to Update an existing user, and fourth to Delete any existing user. In add user, the admin has to provide all the necessary details of a user. In Update user, admin can update the details of the user. In Delete user, the user can be deleted by the admin. In User-portal, users can sign-up only if the admin has added the user to our system. During sign-up user has to fill in some necessary details and then OTP is sent on the registered email. After confirmation, the Facial Recognition part comes, where the user's Facial details are stored in our system. The user can now log in and make payments through our system. Traffic is a major problem mainly in metropolitan cities leading to a waste of resources and time. Countering traffic is in the best interest of everyone. With this paper, we propose a plan to tackle traffic through traffic light modulation. The duration of the signals is modified based on the real-time data obtained and processed at junctions. Thus, an informed decision is taken and this has the potential to limit traffic caused due to lengthy signals. The system uses powerful image & video processing algorithms in order to process data. The anticipated outcome of the system was met satisfactorily. The system proposed in the paper can be considered as a simplified system upon which other features can be designed. It has ample of scope to improve in future. Image processing can help empower signals to identify accidents and emergency vehicles too. The system has the potential to solve a plethora of problems related to traffic.

The widespread use of the World Wide Web has ushered in a new way for people to share their feelings. It is also a medium with a wealth of knowledge where users can see other users' opinions, which are divided into various sentiment groups and are gradually becoming a key factor in decision-making. This paper contributes to the sentiment analysis for consumer review classification, which is useful for analysing information in the form of a large number of tweets with highly unstructured views that are either positive or negative, or somewhere in between. To do so, we first pre-processed the dataset, then extracted the adjectives from it that have some context, which is known as feature extraction. vector, then added the function vector list classification algorithms that use machine learning, such as: The content function is extracted using Naive Bayes, Maximum Entropy, and SVM, as well as the Semantic Orientation based WordNet, which extracts synonyms and similarity. Finally, we evaluated the classifier's output in terms of recall, precision, and accuracy.

Mental health is basically the key through which individual can enter into the chamber of happiness and wholesome adjustment. Wellness is dependent on the adequate coordination of physical and psychological health. Current new normal situation is creating a new arena in front of us and hence adjustment to such lifestyles is also a new task for everybody. Achieving proper mental health is reliant on the fulfillment and possession of some basic criteria like integration of thoughts, positive healthy feelings, development of healthy self-concept etc. Entire population is affected by this pandemic but the nature of consequence is to some extent different for the adolescent subsample. Sudden changes in daily life styles make them more prone towards internet usage, substance abuse. Grief, depression, anxiety are now companion of their journey to existence. Life is not static, so intervention strategies and probable coping up processes are also there. Psychologists and Sociologists have suggested some probable pathways for achieving the homeostasis in the frame of mental health. Problems and remedial measures are just the opposite of the same coin, name life cycle and it is our duty to help the individual who is out of such healthy track so that at the end positive fragrance of life can be achieved by them. This particular tries to throw light on several mental health issues among adolescents and coping strategies during covid-19 pandemic.

The objective of the study is to analyze the recent trends in public expenditure of Kerala in order to understand the fiscal stability and sustainability of the state of Kerala. The study analyses the major trends in expenditure of the State and the changing structure of public expenditure of the State. Revenue expenditure constitutes more than 90% of the total expenditure of the State and on average, more than 60 % of revenue expenditure is spent on salary, interest and pension and more than 75% of revenue receipt is used for them. While more than 90% of the total expenditure of the State was revenue expenditure, the average share of capital expenditure in total expenditure was only 9.06%. It shows that the State is not able to adequately mobilize resources for the development of infrastructure, public services and public utilities. Proper management of expenditure is required for attaining fiscal stability and sustainability for the state of Kerala.

Speech Emotion Recognition is the act of attempting to recognize human emotion from the input audio file and the associated affective states from speech. This is capitalizing on the fact that voice often reflects underlying emotion through tone, frequency and pitch. Here we use python modules and machine learning algorithms for detecting the emotion from the audio file. Here we are predicting the emotion and display it to the user on the screen. We have mainly three different steps to detect the emotion and they are like training the model, extracting feature sets and providing input test audio. We use machine learning techniques like Multilayer perceptron Classifier (MLP Classifier) which is used to categorize the given data into respective groups which are non-linearly separated. We use python modules like librosa, pyaudio, sklearn, numpy to detect the emotion from audio file.

Ambrisentan is an orally active selective type A endothelin receptor antagonist indicated for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension. The present investigation aimed at enhancing the oral bioavailability of Ambrisentan by improving its solubility and dissolution rate by preparing nanosuspensions. The nanosuspensions of Ambrisentan were prepared using emulsification solvent evaporation method. Various formulation as well as process parameters were optimized in order to achieve desirable size and saturation solubility. Characterization of the prepared nanosuspension was done with respect to particle size, zeta potential, saturation solubility, dissolution rate, morphology study (SEM), in-vitro dissolution study. The results indicated that increase in the stabilizer concentration of PEG 6000 shows 99.65% of drug release, so the formulations prepared by using PEG 6000 releases more drug release at the end of 30mins than the other stabilizers and follows first order kinetics. Nanosuspension seems to be a promising approach for bioavailability enhancement because of the simple method of its preparation and its universal applicability.

Centrifugal pumps are probably among the most often used machinery in industrial facilities as well as in common life. Centrifugal pump is widely used as a universal machine, so improving performances of the centrifugal pump is important for energy saving. With the development of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), numerical simulation has become the main method for performance prediction and structure design of the pump. The impeller is the most important part in a centrifugal pump since it is the place where the mechanical energy is converted into hydraulic energy. Hence the parameters related to the impeller are directly affecting the performance of the pump. Parameters are the blade exit angle, Blade inlet angle, blade diameter etc. if it is not correctly designed, it can negatively affect the head and the hydraulic efficiency of the pump. The previous research suggests that a larger blade angle is suitable. Also, exit blades angle variation contributes more in the performance. Compared with the values of theoretical and CFD simulation, the solution of the final design point exhibits a good consistency.

Designing a concrete mix for some particular aspects of durability is relatively simple if a correct choice of the constitute materials is made. Adopting carefully designed concrete mixtures in the actual construction is no guarantee that the structures will be durable up to its designed life cycle. The first obstacle is non-homogeneity of the concrete in various parts of the structures caused by insufficient or lack of vibration due to carelessness of the workers or improper supervision. This report illustrates how a combination type SCC, made with a Viscosity Modifying Admixtures in an aqueous solution may be utillised efficiently for constructing durable structure with readily available local material and labour and present several international projects where SCC has been used with success. Also this report illustrates the study carried out on determination of suitable methods for assessing SCC at site. This work is based on the method for assessment of key properties of SCC like flow, passing ability, filling ability and segregation resistance. Final aim of this work is to decide and proposed a test method, which gives fast and accurate assessment of fresh SCC properties. A combination of Slump-flow test and L-Box test has been found suitable for workability assessment of SCC at job sites.
