 Abstract

The corona virus disease-19 (COVID -19) pandemic is a continuing global health crisis and the most difficult challenge we have faced in the most unusual ways. It has resulted in numerous fatalities and has had a significant impact on the global economy and financial markets. Vaccines are a new critical tool in the fight against this voracious beast. They have been released in a number of countries around the world. Although the vaccines' safety and efficacy have been discussed, we know very little about the post-vaccination experience outside of clinical trial settings. Adequate information about the vaccine' Adverse effects can educate the public, dispel myths, and increase vaccine acceptability.R1

 Abstract

With the eruption of big data, practical recommendation schemes are now very important in various fields, including e-commerce, social networks, and a number of web-based services. Nowadays, there exist many personalized movie recommendation schemes utilizing publicly available movie datasets (e.g., MovieLens and Netflix), and returning improved performance metrics (e.g., Root-Mean-Square Error (RMSE)). However, two fundamental issues faced by movie recommendation systems are still neglected: first, scalability, and second, practical usage feedback and verification based on real implementation. In particular, Collaborative Filtering (CF) is one of the major prevailing techniques for implementing recommendation systems. However, traditional CF schemes suffer from a time complexity problem, which makes them bad candidates for real-world recommendation systems. In this paper, we address these two issues. Firstly, a simple but high-efficient recommendation algorithm is proposed, which exploits users' profile attributes to partition them into several clusters.

 Abstract

The paper intends the views, ideas, and actions of M.K. Gandhi in the process of unification of India during the struggle period and at the time of Indian independence. Further, it looks at his contribution to the integration of princely states in the Indian Union. Mainly, it traces the various stages of the evaluation of Gandhi's view towards princely India such as political, cultural, geographical, social, and historical perspectives. Gandhi criticized the relations between British India and Indian India. However, it tries to analyse the role of Gandhian philosophy as princely nationalist activities or tools and as a counterweight against British rule and native autocracy. It attempts to examine and explains the origins and the growth of Gandhian influence on the all-India princely states' political activities and movements. Besides the relationship of the Gandhian followers of British India and Indian India is also dealt with. Gandhi's non-interference and the obstructionist policy have been critically examined. He looked towards the princely states' problem as internal or indigenous; it was not major like colonial rule so the Indian National Congress (hereafter INC) should not interfere in that matter. Gandhi has expressed his opinion on the non-interference attitude during the freedom struggle of India and post-independence is a prominent place of this article. Apart from this, he has articulated different views to the national leaders and Indian India regarding events and situations of princely politics. The Gandhian thoughts and activities were landmarks in the movement of states for the responsible government in princely states and the unification of India.

 Abstract

In the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry surfactants have played a very important role since their discovery. They've been used in preparations such as shampoo, detergents, face washes and many more formulations make use of these surfactants. But they are also produced from non-renewable sources of energy such as petroleum which causes not only the exhaustion of these natural resources but also their byproducts are toxic to the humans and to the nature as well as their biodegradability is very low. They have a low production cost and can be produced on a large scale. Traditionally used foaming agents in ayurveda have been there for thousands of years along with other natural agents that can create foam are looked at as alternatives to reduce the harmful effects of chemical surfactants. Biosurfactants are the agents which are produced by microbes and other biological sources which are also excellent foaming agents which can be great alternatives for synthetic petroleum-based surfactants. This review article herein discusses such few green foaming agents which are completely natural in origin and can be used as an alternative for chemical surfactants and lead the prospects of our formulations in the future.

 Abstract

John Stuart Mill coined the term 'dystopia' in the middle of the eighteenth century. The term was first mentioned in his speech to the House of Commons in 1868. Dystopia, being the opposite of utopia or an ideal land, depicts a world full of chaos and destruction. It was in the twentieth century that this genre started to gain prominence. While many writers followed the pattern of creating an ideal land, with an organized structure and a civilized society, writers who engaged in dystopian genre set on to portray the world amidst chaos and destruction as opposed to an unrealistic utopian society. The characters in dystopian fiction fight against environmental destruction, totalitarianism, technological control and so forth. Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, George Orwell's 1984 and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale are some of the dystopian works that gained wide popularity. They focus on a world ahead in time where technology and totalitarianism hold the society in its clutches. As it emphasises on an imaginary future, it depictes a world where women are made sex-slaves in order to fulfil the needs of infertile families, a world that is run by technology where it controls the human emotions, and a world that is governed by the surveillance system that puts a halt to people's personal lives. Lately, Indian writers have turned to this genre and Leila, being one of the most influential Indian dystopias by Prayaag Akbar has reflected the same. However, unlike mainstream dystopian novels that offer a vision of an imaginary future, portraying what could possibly go wrong, Akbar's Leila echoes the present reality of the country wherein the caste system plays a crucial role. It reflects upon the current problems faced by the society in terms of social segregation and lays emphasis on the issues prevalent in the society such as honor killings, atrocities based on caste and so forth. Akbar's Leila can thus be called a 'living dystopia' which takes place in a real world and reflects upon the actual society that is slowly undergoing chaos or destruction, unlike the usual dystopia which is purely fictional and warns the real world. The caste system poses a threat to humanity. A large section of society enjoys the privilege offered by the government, while some people are exploited in the name of caste. Therefore, for such people caste can be dystopic. In this paper, the researcher attempts to delve into the aspect of caste in Leila by analysing the segregation that the society undergoes in the novel. This shall be done along with a parallel comparison with other dystopian novels like Brave New World, 1984 and The Handmaid's Tale. It will also focus on the issues prevalent in India such as atrocities based on the basis of caste and honor killings.

 Abstract

This paper focuses critically on Haruki Murakami's notion of music and memory as central to his fictional narratives. Referring to his much discussed novel Kafka on the Shore, it counts on how he uses music as a vehicle to connect the characters to their past. Firstly, it discusses how music is used as a tool to answer and create questions about the past. It includes a discussion on how typically Murakami blends classical music along with jazz, folk and pop songs to bridge the gap between the present and past of the characters. It also acts as a powerful force for soul-searching. Then, it examines the importance of music in reviving the memories of the major characters in order to form a different perspective and redefine things around the characters along with the being of their existence. Finally, it reflects on how the novelist depicts the characters who are touched by the subtle elements of music from unusual pairing of chords to evocate lyrics with handling of imperfections in performance; sees music as a kind of channel to revelation; helps to preserve and recreate intense emotions from the past; and is treated as an opportunity to better understand the deepest inner workings of the characters.

 Abstract

Fake product identification is a growing concern in today's global market. The use of blockchain technology can help address this issue by providing a secure and transparent way to track the provenance of products. This paper proposes a system for fake product identification using blockchain, which involves assigning a unique identifier to each product at the time of manufacture and storing its transaction history on the blockchain. By leveraging the decentralized nature of blockchain, this system ensures the authenticity and integrity of product information, making it virtually impossible to tamper with. This paper also discusses the benefits and challenges of implementing such a system and highlights the potential impact it could have on supply chain management and consumer trust. Overall, this paper provides insights into the potential of blockchain technology to tackle the issue of fake products in a secure and efficient manner. Moreover, blockchain-based solutions for fake product identification enable stakeholders to trace the source of counterfeit products. The technology allows them to follow the product's journey from the manufacturing facility to the point of sale, identifying where the counterfeit entered the supply chain. This enables them to take appropriate measures to prevent further counterfeiting and safeguard their brand reputation. In conclusion, blockchain-based solutions for fake product identification offer a secure and transparent way to combat counterfeiting and protect consumers from potentially harmful products. By creating an immutable record of a product's journey through the supply chain, blockchain technology can enable manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to verify the authenticity of products and prevent counterfeiting.

 Abstract

Yoga is a popular practice that involves various body postures and breathing exercises to improve physical and mental health. In this project, we have developed a system that detects yoga poses in real-time using a webcam and machine learning algorithms. The system uses a total of eight yoga poses including Bhadrasan, Shavasan, Gomukhasan, Vajrasan, Sarvangasan, Shirsansan, Chakrasan, and Dhanurasan. The system works by first collecting a dataset of yoga poses with corresponding virtual coordinates for each pose. We manually annotated the poses with 501 virtual coordinates on the body and face of the yoga practitioner. The dataset was preprocessed by normalizing the coordinates and splitting them into training and testing sets. We used OpenCV and MediaPipe libraries to extract features from the virtual coordinates for each pose. Once the model was trained and validated, we used OpenCV and MediaPipe libraries to capture live video feed from the webcam and extract virtual coordinates from the video frames. The extracted coordinates were then passed through the trained model to predict the corresponding yoga pose. The system displays the name and accuracy of the predicted pose on the screen in real-time. In addition to pose detection, we implemented a user registration and login system using the tkinter library and an SQLite database. This system allowed users to register their information, which was stored in the database for future logins. The login system ensured secure access to the real-time pose detection system. The proposed system achieved an average accuracy of 95% in detecting the eight yoga poses in real-time. The system can be used by yoga practitioners to monitor and improve their practice, as well as by instructors to monitor their students and provide personalized feedback. Future work includes expanding the dataset to include more yoga poses and incorporating feedback mechanisms to improve the accuracy of the system.

 Abstract

India, Being the world's fastest-growing economy, India holds immense potential to attract global customers and adapt to new technologies and changes, possesses tremendous potential to attract global customers and embrace new technologies and advancements. The process of digitalization holds immense capabilities, fostering improved connectivity across nearly every sector of the Indian economy. However, the distribution of these approaches can sometimes be uneven among certain government sectors. Embracing the latest technological advancements can bring about significant value and catalyze a drastic transformation in the mode of operations and work for a large segment of the population. One technology that stands out in this regard is blockchain. Blockchain is being globally adopted due to its decentralized approach, secure nature, immutability, and tamper-proof characteristics. In contrast, the management of funds in India remains a contentious issue, with substantial amounts of money allocated to various schemes in the public interest. Yet, due to a lack of transparency, blockchain can serve as a solution to bridge this gap and provide a fully secure and immutable environment for tracking funds.

 Abstract

To predict the weather of a particular place at a specific time is known as Weather Forecasting. It is an application of science and technology. Weather forecast is more helpful for people as it predicts the possibilities of changes in weather conditions. The weather forecast can be done in many ways, collecting data and analysing it, image processing, by using methodologies like Normalization, Clustering, and cloud mask algorithms, etc. This paper is based on the process of Weather Forecasting. This system will be using Machine learning algorithms like Support Vector Machine(SVM), Time series based recurrent neural network, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, Artificial Neural Network, and Decision Tree. This system will accept data on current weather conditions such as current temperature, wind conditions, and humidity. It will predict the weather conditions of a certain location on a given day and time. This system will be useful in Air Traffic, Marine, Agriculture, Forestry, Military, and Navy, etc.
