Abstract Trainee teachers have a pivotal role in driving the transformation of any country towards education and development. However, the combination of persistence and enthusiasm in the field of education significantly impacts trainee teacher's effectiveness. The concept of grit, when used to explain academic performance, seems to be more beneficial than relying just on IQ grades. This study sought to examine the grit among trainee teachers in relation to certain demographic variables such as gender, locale, type of institution and religion. This research employed the descriptive survey method and utilized the simple random sampling technique to collect data from a total of 185 respondents from Aligarh Muslim University, Vivekanand College of Technology & Management, and Gyan Mahavidyalaya. The study used the Short Grit Scale (Grit-S), a standardized tool constructed by Duckworth and Quinn (2005). This research utilized mean, standard deviation, and parametric statistic independent sample t-test to examine the significant difference in grit among trainee teachers based on certain demographic variables. The findings indicated that there was no statistically significant difference in grit based on gender, locale, type of institution, and religion among trainee teachers. When comparing the means, it was found that trainee teachers from rural, private, and Hindu backgrounds exhibited higher grit than trainee teachers from urban, government, and Muslim backgrounds.

In the aquatic ecosystem, zooplankton plays a crucial role. Its distribution and assortment, however, are driven by several physicochemical parameters in an association. Zooplanktons are an important group of plankton in the aquatic food chain. The abundance of zooplankton is regulated by a variety of physicochemical parameters, as well as the interplay of biological factors. Zooplankton species play an important role in the food webs of aquatic ecosystems. They are not only a vital member of the lentic community, but they also contribute greatly to the freshwater ecosystem's biological production.

Steroids are the compounds belonging to family terpenoid lipids. Anabolic steroids are the synthetic derivatives of male hormone testosterone. The introduction of anabolic steroids has demonstrated a substantial effect on physical strength, endurance, and muscle tissue synthesis and athletic performance since the beginning of the 20th century. Anabolic steroids are more than thirty types. They promote protein anabolism. Because of their potential to enhance muscle strength and athleticism, they are traditionally abused in sports to gain an advantage over opponents. Athletes still use them to increase their physical and athletic performance and bodybuilders use them to bulk and increase in size. Anabolic steroids have been well-documented as having adverse side effects on primary and secondary sex characteristics. Females are given male attributes by steroids, while males experience sterility and erectile dysfunction. They may also lead to an increase in cholesterol and triglyceride levels, both of which are associated with a high chance of cardiovascular disease. Researches have indicated an indirect link between anabolic steroids and cardiovascular disease. Androgenic anabolic steroids have shown to alter the immune reaction by influencing lymphocyte differentiation and proliferation, natural killer cytotoxic activity, antibody production and production of certain cytokines. Anabolic steroids are also abused amongst adults who are not involved in sports for physical appearance and muscle mass. The use of anabolic steroids is a significant problem in the adolescent population, according to the National Institute of Drug Abuse. Sport's governing bodies prohibit the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) in competition and penalize athletes who test positive. Individuals who possess knowledge about the half-lives of particular drugs, dosages and cycles try to avoid detection. The procedures for screening anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) in laboratories accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency are comprehensive and sensitive, and are primarily based on gas chromatography- mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography -mass spectrometry. The detection of natural testosterone administration, especially in men, is increasingly being detected using carbon isotope mass spectroscopy. This present work reviews steroids in general to create awareness among adolescents so that they can improve their knowledge and follow safe practices regarding anabolic steroids.

This study uses an empirical method to determine the Continuous slowing down approximation ranges (CSDA) of electrons in human body parts, such as blood and the eye lens, in the energy range of 30-1000 keV. Continuous slowing down approximation ranges (CSDA) are crucial for applications including chemical investigations of a solid's surface regions, electron beam lithography, and radiation biology. The formula for the (CSDA) range is dependent on factors such as the overall energy, the density, and the effective atomic number of the various body sections. It is discovered that the CSDA range calculations for electrons in the 30-1000 keV energy range agree correctly with the numbers provided by the ESTAR [1] program. Additionally, a graphic representation of the CSDA range vs. energy values has been provided.

Achieving a more comprehensive understanding of teaching practitioners' views on their day-to-day work is one of the greatest challenges of public educational systems around the globe. This paper showcases the results of a study that looked at the factors that influence teachers' decision to motivate teachers to stay in the profession of the public Junior High School system in a developing country such as Mexico. In this cross-sectional study, a group of 50 junior high school teachers were sampled having met the condition of being actively working in the public system at the time of the study. Their experience ranged from 5 to 20 years in the profession. The participants responded to an online survey digitally distributed through Google Forms. The responses were analyzed using a phenomenological and descriptive approach, which considers reality experiences as subjects of study to generate theory around them. The results showed that, while very few participants identified a teacher as being the main influence that swayed their career choice, they acknowledged that their interactions with colleagues were important to keep them motivated to continue in the teaching profession. In particular, the participants expressed that verbal and written demonstrations of appreciation coming from peers, as well as opportunities to exchange teaching strategies with them ranked as a highly important factor to feel motivated. In addition, interactions with parents, when these conveyed verbal or written acknowledgements of their efforts, were also deemed important. Unsurprisingly, 80% of the participants did not see salary as an influential factor to stay in the teaching profession. Most of them saw their positions as poorly paid in relation to the demands of the job, which they qualified as exhausting. The participants' responses also offer a practitioner's view on the changes they would like to see happening to make their work more rewarding. More support from government and educational authorities, a reduction of bureaucratic burden in their everyday job, more curricular autonomy, more involvement with institutional activities, learning new teaching methodologies, and having access to more efficient school-management processes were the most relevant changes mentioned by the teachers.
