 Abstract

In this age of ever-growing digital connection, fake news is prevalent and easier to spread more than ever. In the past, there have been some massive real-life implications of fake news, for example, the 2016 US elections. So in a day where almost everything we consume is digital and when fake news is very easy to spread, a way to separate real and fake news is very desirable. As such, this paper delves into the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to look for a solution for this issue. This paper will focus on comparing and evaluating 4 different models of AI: Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Gradient Booster and Random Forest classifiers. These 4 are the most common methods of AI-based fake news detection. Aside from comparing and evaluating these 4 algorithms against each other, the paper also aims to explain why traditional means of fact-checking often fail in this digital age and hence, why AI would be a more suitable option going forward.

 Abstract

Empowering women is a crucial strategy for improving their socioeconomic status. Women who are empowered have a greater share over resources like material, human, and intellectual including knowledge, information, and ideas. They also have more influence over financial resources, including access to capital and the ability to make decisions for their families, communities, societies, and countries. Women are mistreated or exploited in many different contexts in underdeveloped nations. Their inherent nature is one of submissiveness, submission, and servility as a result of the inequity they experience. Even in many nations where education has advanced significantly, women are still not viewed as belonging to the same gender everywhere. Even in light of women's significant contributions to society, their standing is still regarded as insignificant or inferior. The timing is right for women to support her. The topic of women's empowerment is urgent. Numerous non-governmental organisations strive to improve women's lives and provide them with self-sufficiency training. The government has also declared a number of initiatives that support women, demonstrating how seriously it takes this issue. Information and communication technology is also crucial in this situation. Women are gaining jobs, security, awareness, knowledge, confidence, popularity, and other benefits through ICT. The current study examines the function of ICT, identifies obstacles to women using ICTs, and offers solutions to increase women's access to ICT.

 Abstract

This paper presents an IoT-based fish farm monitoring system designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve environmental management, and optimize resource utilization. The proposed system utilizes a network of sensors deployed throughout the fish farm to collect data on various parameters such as water quality, temperature, pH level, dissolved oxygen, and feed consumption. These sensors are connected to a central hub, which aggregates the data and transmits it to a cloud-based platform for storage and analysis. At present, China is the largest aquaculture country in the world, ranking in the forefront of the world in terms of the aquaculture scale and the aquaculture production. However, with the expansion of the aquaculture species and the gradual saturation of the development and utilization of the water resources, the traditional aquaculture methods are liable to cause adverse consequences such as the water pollution and the low quality of the aquatic products. Therefore, we have to abandon the extensive way of relying entirely on the experience for the aquaculture in the past. Through the use of the emerging technologies and the timely and accurate data of the aquaculture environment, it is inevitable to make efficient and timely adjustment. In this context, the introduction of the technology of the Internet of Things makes it possible for the aquaculture with high efficiency, high yield and environmental protection.

 Abstract

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are digital assets that provide unique ownership and authenticity of digital media such as art, music, and collectibles. NFT Marketplace is a blockchain-based platform that enables the creation, trading, and collecting of NFTs. The platform leverages blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity and ownership of NFTs, providing a secure and transparent way to transact digital assets. In this major project report, we explore the NFT Marketplace and its underlying blockchain technology. We provide an overview of the platform's features, including the ability to tokenize any digital asset, create customizable smart contracts, and sell NFTs with low fees and instant trades. We also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the platform, including its ease of use, potential for fraud, and scalability challenges. The Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) have revolutionized the digital realm, redefining the concept of ownership and trade of unique digital assets. NFTs represent one-of-a-kind tokens, each verifiably and indelibly linked to a specific digital or physical asset, encompassing diverse forms of content, including video, audio, and images. These unique tokens have paved the way for creators to monetize their digital creations while providing collectors with an innovative means to invest, trade, and showcase their multimedia NFT collections. Central to the NFT ecosystem are NFT marketplaces, digital platforms designed to facilitate the creation, sale, and management of NFTs in various multimedia formats. These marketplaces have proliferated, providing creators with the means to mint NFTs, buyers with the opportunity to acquire them, and collectors with platforms to curate and trade their diverse NFT portfolios.

 Abstract

Abstract: Non-renewable energy comes from sources that will run out or will not be replenished in our lifetime or even in many lifetimes. Most of the non-renewable energy sources are fossil fuels, which influence the environment greatly and contribute to harmful global warming and climate change. Renewable energy is energy produced from sources that do not deplete or can be replenished or refilled within a human's life time. The most common examples of renewable energy sources include wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, and hydropower. Renewable energy is sustainable as it originates from sources that are inexhaustible (unlike fossil fuels). The aim of this study is to harness and store solar energy through natural dye Curcumin-Fructose-Brij-35 photogalvanic cell system. This cell based on photo-sensitizer natural dye Curcumin, surfactant Brij-35, reductant Fructose in alkaline medium has shown encouraging and very impressive improvement in solar energy conversion and storage. This combination of chemicals has shown harnessing of 120.50 ?W maximum powers with a storage capacity of 100 min as half change time from the 10.4 mWcm-2 artificial and low illumination intensity. In this study, the observed optimum cell performance in terms of the photopotential, maximum photocurrent, and short-circuit current is 918 mV, 824 ?A, and 784 ?A, respectively.

 Abstract

Live biometric systems should be used since the reliance on inadequate security procedures and approaches an ever- increasing number of assaults on authentication systems. That are recognized source of reliable authentication. Systems for password- based authentication are widely used and have many advantages. They must, however, be committed to memory vulnerable to dictionary, password guessing, and password resetting assaults from malicious parties. An alternative are biometric-based authentication methods, which don't require user memorization and difficult to replicate since they require the end users' physical presence. However, because there are more attacks every day, an attacker can trick the system by making a false or previously. Using a web interface to analyze a user's facial traits, web-based facial authentication provides a safe way to confirm that person's identification. By utilizing the camera on a device, it takes pictures of faces, examines distinctive features, and then compares it with previously saved information to authorize access or verify a user. Convenience and security are combined with this technology to provide a seamless online service access experience that prioritizes user privacy and data protection.

 Abstract

In India's energy industry, the widespread use of edge computing-powered image processing-based billing devices offers a revolutionary way to overcome the drawbacks of manual billing procedures. Compared to manual billing procedures, this solution has several advantages: it is more accurate, has less errors, and is less vulnerable to fraud and manipulation. By incorporating image processing technology and character recognition technology (OCR) into billing devices, the danger of human error is minimized, and proper billing calculations are secured by automatic and precise data extraction from power meter readings. Advanced picture processing and meter variety are significant infrastructure trade-off considerations. Further study will focus on Data Privacy, Advanced Image Processing and Recognition, and a novel dimensional method for edge-based image processing-based billing devices. Leveraging edge computing capabilities reduces the need for manual intervention by facilitating real-time data processing and analysis, which approves for instantaneous invoice creation.

 Abstract

Tomato sorting is one of the key elements to implement in order to improve tomato quality. At the moment, many sorting systems are done by hand, which can be time-consuming and problematic. By classifying tomato anecdotage using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) system, one sorting scheme may be imposed. The classification of tomato anecdotes based just on their color is the ultimate goal of this investigation. Three color positions are distinguished: green for raw tomatoes, turning for half-ripe tomatoes, and red for ripe tomatoes. In order to conduct this investigation, the following research methods were used: CNN model, training data, data pre-processing, and image preservation. 1148 photos were utilized in this investigation. The photographs were captured manually in an outdoor setting using a smartphone camera. CNN model was constructed using these photos. The investigation's findings demonstrate that ten tomato photos were tested, yielding raw tomatoes that scored nearly 90, ripe tomatoes that scored nearly 90, and half-ripe tomatoes that scored slightly under 80. CNN can be an effective choice for image bracket jobs based on the results.

 Abstract

Industrial production procedures for pharmaceutical product development require a high level of expertise and control to prove that the end product will be of the requisite quality. Usually, a lot of information is acquired throughout the process however, in order to make use of the data, the information that is contained must be extracted using the appropriate statistical tools. Large quantities, varied sample rates, process noise, and non-linear connections are some of the difficulties encountered by industrial process data. To understand the effects of multidimensional and interactions of input parameters on the output responses of pharmaceutical goods and analytical methodologies, design of experiments (DoE) have been employed extensively. SPSS, STATA, Minitab, Graph pad Prism are some of the popular programs for statistical analysis. EXCEL and other spreadsheet programs are user-friendly and excellent for entering, coding and storing survey data. Larger-scale manufacturing problems might occasionally occur, and statistical optimization could provide solutions. Furthermore, it is applied in medical research to increase efficiency and precision. This article includes theoretical and practical approaches for using Design of Experiments (DoE), Minitab, IBM SPSS, Graphpad Prism in the pharmaceutical industry.
