This study try to bring out some of the salient features of the smoking patterns in India with the help of multinomial logistic regression model. The study showed that there is a positive association between smoking and age. Another factor that influences the smoking habit is the average number of years spent in school, as the study showed that the chance of being heavy smoker or light smoker decreases as the average number of years spent in school increases. One of the important implications of this result was that, educating people about dangers of smoking can have significant positive impact on, people convert from smoking to not smoking at all. Study also established few interesting association between smoking habits and the employment status.

The leading function initiates action and it is from here actual work starts. There are three elements in leading namely, motivation, leadership and communication. The Government of Mizoram through its industrial policies identified agro-based industries, handloom and handicraft industries, sericulture industries, electronic industries, village and cottage industries and selected consumer industries as priority industries to be developed in the State. Consistent with this, the Government of Mizoram set up five Public Sector Undertakings(PSU). However, these PSUs have failed to achieve the objectives for which they have been incorporated. The PSUs suffer from poor managerial efficiency which has an adverse impact on the financial and operational performance. This article looks into the leading function of the PSUs to identify the problems that ails its effective application.

In this digital era, a lot of information is conveyed through emails. The email service provider applications show the users their email data but do not process it further for more convenience of the users. Automatic event generation and detailed email classification are absent in the conventional email applications. In this paper, an approach for the classification of mails, summarization and automatic event extraction through emails is discussed. The emails are classified into multiple classes using Machine Learning and not only in spam and ham. Rule-based extraction is used for summarization. The date, time, subject and venue of the event present is extracted through emails using text mining. The application is evaluated over many emails and is providing satisfactory results.

Due to a limited number of offshore financial centres and the volume of transactions, offshore banking is a pervasive activity. Offshore banking has a wide impact on the financial system surveillance. The offshore banks are more vulnerable to solvency and foreign exchange risk then onshore banks due to the favourable regulatory frameworks in OFC. The regulatory framework for the onshore could be transmitted to the offshore banks in order to ensure the soundness of the same. Emerging economies which are more vulnerable to a reversal in capital flows, spontaneous accumulation of short-term external debt, and has exposure to currency fluctuations and selective capital account liberalization becomes a qualitative issue for offshore banking in these areas.A combined and focused effort is necessary to assist the emerging economies, to avoid financial crisis by disseminating internationally accepted regulatory standards which shall be adequate and appropriate for optional banking the standards will act supplementary to Basil Committees Core Principle and shall include the Basels Committees Minimum Standards along with their other related initiatives of the International Supervisory Community. Third, the Funds work on promoting good governance also takes a negative blood owing to these offshore banking. It is an obvious fact that offshore banking are not as transparent as normal cross-border transactions for the reasons such as of complex ownership structure and relationships among The jurisdictions that are involved in the transaction. This paper intends to throw some light on offshore banking with regards to the aforementioned considerations. The focus of this paper shall be offshore banking as it constitutes the major portion of offshore activities, keeping in mind that nonbanks, corporations etc also play a vital role in offshore markets.

The handicraft industry remained an important key in the economic development of J&K UT. Being environment friendly, these activities are best suited to the UT as they are more labour intensive and less capital intensive in nature, therefore having scope for employment generation at a large scale. Handmade products are exported all over India and other parts of the world. Kashmiri handicrafts eliminated financial crises among those people who are affected with the physical disabilities. After handicrafts gained foreign exposure with positive feedback, many youth made this, their profession. Kashmiri Handicrafts is the second largest and preferable industry after fruit in Kashmir Valley, and have earned worldwide fame for their attractive designs, functional utility and high quality craftsmanship. In absence of other manufacturing industries in the state, handicrafts remained a key economic activity from time immemorial. The present study focuses on employment and production of handicrafts in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state now a Union territory.

Expressions and manifestations of human neurodiversity tend to hold the key to manifold opportunities and challenges when translated into a special need or diversity. When on one hand, disability is subjected to denigration, social exclusion, stereotyped understanding and despise; on the other hand disability is also manifested in the form of different and unique expressions of boundless abilities. Specifically, evidential literature around the Globe have reflected the unflinching creative abilities of the children with special needs. The present study was undertaken to cross-cut through the existing challenges in teaching-learning environments pertaining to the Right to Creative Expression and addressing Neurodiversity among children with special needs; to curtail stereotypes of inability among the children and to foster a positive classroom environment with optimal grounds for expression of their latent talents, inclusivity and strengthening of Child Rights as a whole. The study variables included ability enrichment, metacognition and inclusive classroom ergonomics in a 2X2 quasi experimental single subject research design methodology. Results of the present intervention study indicated a positive and significant difference among the research variables at .05 and .01levels of significance. This further indicated that fostering neurodiversity and talents among children with special needs in teaching-learning environments enhance as well as enrich their Right to Creative Expression and Neurocognitive Learning abilities. The study also paved the way for cross-cutting through the existent stereotypes related to disability and Disablism among children with Special Needs. Both quantitative and qualitative results were suggestive of creating an enriching teaching-learning environment for children with special needs, in a synchronization with their Child Rights and neurodiversity-based cognitive disposition.

The places which are far from Grid connection equip micro grid by using Renewable Energy sources. In this paper Remote area places depends on Renewable energy sources like wind power which is capable of supply for local loads. But loads are varying with respect to time; to meet the power demand of this varying local load can be handled by WECS with battery enabled system. Grid side converter connected with Wind generation and BESS are capable of handling the variable load in the system, which can act as static synchronous compensator. This STATCOM is responsible for providing necessary active, reactive power to the grid. The Grid side converter is also responsible for maintaining the quality of power, constant frequency, voltage levels. In this paper different loads are considered like Linear, Non linear and dynamic loads. The system is capable for handling the any type of load demand. Simulation is also gives the results regarding different load demands.

The Treaty of Lisbon has modified and enhanced the regulations and relations of the European Union. The European Union was fundamentally an Economic group. Presently, it has not only concentrated only on the market economy but has a mandate beyond that dimension. It created a much more centralized form of leadership and also regulated foreign policies. A uniform procedure was made for the member countries with regard to their entry and exit in and from the European Union. The formulations of enactment of new policies were also done under this Treaty. This treaty was basically to remove the defects which the earlier treaties of the European Union were possessing. It also played a very important role in the enhancement of the European market and the creation of an Open Market System. Treaty of Lisbon has been proved to be very effective to the objectives it aimed at. It has played a major role in expanding the European market economy. It has protected the rights of the member-states. It also has granted greater power to the directly elected representatives of the people. More legal rights have been granted to the member-states as they had before. The Author here will be discussing the major impact that the treaty had done in order to upgrade and enhance the European Market and has also tried to state the shortcomings of the treaty.

India declared a self-imposed quarantine on March 12 and went under a complete lockdown from midnight of March 24. The country is now at the beginning of the critical stage 3, the community transmission stage of Caronavirus, COVID-19. The virus, which is emanated from the city Wuhan in China in the month of December 2019, has spread entire globe including India threatening the lives of the people at large. The disease has spread afflicted millions of people worldwide devastating the global economy. India is no exception. All the activities are stopped and every establishment is stand still and lockdown has been clamped. State borders are closed, mobility is stopped, labour movement is curtailed and institutions are suspended across the country. Only essentials are open for limited hours and bank operations are minimized. People are restricted to their homes maintaining social distance. India has never experienced a pandemic of this nature in living memory and the economists have not faced such a sudden downturn or halt in economic activity. It is in this aspect, the paper is trying to attempt to study the effects of Caronavirus and its impact on Indian economic activity.

Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Cloud computing and storage solutions provide users and enterprises with various capabilities to store and process their data in third-party data centers. It relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economies of scale, similar to a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network. At the foundation of cloud computing is the broader concept of converged infrastructure and shared services. In Real time the issue we are discussing about is patent (ownership) misuse. The seller buys the ownership of a document or a streaming resource and it is being shared with other partners in the same business stream. This in turn causes great financial loss to the seller. The seller or the owner of the entity should be aware of file is being shared. We overcome this issue using security access protocol. The idea is we add limited access time to the file. The file or screening resource is controlled from owner side even if the resource is shared. If an unauthorized user tries to access the file, he will be promoted for access code; the owner can decide to grant access permission for the request user. A payload will be generated from the client side and sent to the origin user. The Payload contains the client details such as IP address, filename etc. with the help of payload, original user can check whether he have permission for the file he is trying to access.

intensive care unit acquired weakness (ICUAW) is a syndrome encompassing the myopathic, neuropathic, and atrophic changes associated with a critical illness. The deleterious effects of the illness itself can lead to rapid muscle loss, delirium, and chronic organ dysfunction. Early mobilization is considered gold standard care. The possible benefits of early mobilization include minimizing muscle wasting, reducing orthostatic intolerance, maintaining bone health, improving lung function by increasing functional residual capacity, maintaining a joint range of movement, and increased psychological wellbeing. The Chelsea Critical Care Physical Assessment tool (CPAx) is a numerical and pictorial composite of 10 commonly assessed components of physical function graded on a six-point Guttman Scale from complete dependence to independence. 30 Patients were recruited from the cardiac ICU of Vikhe Patil hospital. The sampling method was purposive sampling. Post-op CABG and Valvular replacement surgery patients were included aged over 18 years old with CICU length of stay of over 72 hours. The CPAx assessment tool was used to assess the patient on the 1st, 3rd, 6th post-operative day of the CICU. Conventional physical therapy treatment is given from the first day until the day of discharge. The CPAx contains ten components which include respiratory function, cough, bed mobility, sitting and standing balance, transfers, stepping, walking, and handgrip strength. On the day of discharge from the cardiac ICU, the CPAx was used again to assess the physical function status of the patient. The mean score for POD 1st is 14.23, POD 3rd is 29.07, POD 6th is 40.92, discharge day 43.62. there was a negative correlation between CPAx score on day 1 and length of stay (p-value-0.3672) and the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.02613
