Indias Act East Policy is based on commerce, culture and connectivity with Southeast Asian countries. It aims for the closer geo-political and security relations with its Asian neighbours to promote Indo-Pacific maritime security cooperation against the rising threats from China. Chinas growing presence in the region has created a common concern not only for India and littoral states of the region such as Maldives, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Seychelles, Djibouti, Iran, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. It is also posing a threat to the international actors such as USA, Japan, Australia, who are also looking for protection of their economic, strategic and security interests in the Indo-Pacific regional order through the quadrilateral platform. India has deepened its easternized maritime security cooperation at the regional and international levels as a part of its balancing strategy against Chinas assertive maritime interests in Indo- Pacific. The paper, thus, focuses on the recalibration of Look East Policy into Act East Policy by the Indian government in 2014 to revitalize the maritime security cooperation with Southeast Asian littorals and the holistic geo-political and security convergence with the Indo-Pacific regions in the context of Chinas increasing assertion in the two oceans.

The rising bank fraud has one of its manifestations in the policy of the neo-liberal policy adherent government which has been making policy shift from mass banking to class banking. Its beginning started just after receiving from the World Bank a Confidential Report on financial sector of India in June, 1990. Since then the government of India has extended gradually its efforts to promote corporate interest. How the attacks on priority sector have been launched to accuse priority sector responsible for NPAs of public sector banks have given impetus to corporate capital for willful denial to pay their loan, is the theme of this paper. It explains the forms of frauds by big capital and unwillingness of government to put restriction on them.

In 2017, Zohra Bibi, a domestic worker in Mahagun Modern Society, Noida went missing for a day; she was eventually found in the basement of her employers building. While the police framed it as a missing persons case, Zohra claimed otherwise. According to her, she was beaten up by her employer for demanding a wage hike and was later locked in the basement by him. The employeraccused her of stealing money. The news about the abusive treatment of Zohra Bibi spread in the slum where she was living and a militant protest was held by slum dwellers in front of the society complex where Zohra worked as a domestic worker. The residents of the society called the police who usedharshmethods to shut down the protest, arresting thirteen protesters. Ironically, police closed Zohra Bibis case citing lack of evidence but continued its investigation in to the arrested protesters diverting the focus from the real issue. Zohra Bibis case shows the experiences of migrant domestic women workers in cities. It is evident that workers have no right to protest, express their anger or demand their rights. In the absence of dignity and justice for domestic women workers who are part of Indias informal economy, it is showing contradictory nature of urbanization and urban economybut at the same time againstthe right to city and idea of safe city becomes a challenge.

After the independence, when the green revolution started in India, Radio played a very crucial role in spreading the message of revolution. Radio proved to be a very potent medium as it reached out to the masses in various entertaining forms like Chaupal, Gaon Ghar etc. These programs helped the farmers to understand and adopt scientific and modern ways of farming for better productivity. Radio also reached out to the soldiers who were away from their homes and shows like Fauji bhaiyon ke liye proved to be very successful and are running till date. This is one of the reasons that Sri Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India conveys his messages through his Mann ki Baaton Radio once every month. Radio is medium through which messages are broadcasted to a larger audience living in different locations. Radio always play a very important role in lives of public. The functions of Radio include information, education, entertainment, persuasion, providing a platform for debate and discussion, national integration and promotion of communal harmony. The growth of technology has made Radio available at different platform through different communication tools. Radio always plays an important role in disaster management by educating the listeners about disasters; warning of hazards; gathering and transmitting information about affected areas; alerting the officials, relief NGOs and the public to specific needs; and facilitating discussions. Radio in recent years has helped sensitize listeners most effectively through forewarning and risk management. After the advent of FM Radio in urban areas, it became a very significant and liked medium for entertainment and information.

The availability of many brands in Karnataka provides various alternatives to the customer. These manufacturers offer similar value proposition, and provide highly customized products. Cosmetics products performance is not considered very important for customers now, rather they look for those differentiating parameters. Abstract : Womens empowerment in India is heavily dependent on many different variables which include geographical location (urban/rural), educational status, social status (caste and class) and age. Policies on empowerment of women exist at national, state and local (panchayat) levels. Still women face differentiation in many sectors like health, education, economic opportunities and political participation which shows that there are significant gaps between policy advancements and actual practice at the community level. This paper reveals current status of women empowerment indicators in India. The origins of the concept of empowerment go back to the civil rights in the USA in the 1960. Since the mid-1980s the term empowerment has become popular in the field of development, especially in reference to women. Women Empowerment in India The status of Women in India has been subject to many great changes over the past few millenniums. In early Vedic period Women enjoyed equal status with men. Rigved & Upanishads mention several names of women sages and seers notably Gargi & Maitrey. Later the status of women began to deteriorate approximately from 500 B.C., the situation worsened with invasion of Mughals and later on by European invaders. The real change came after independence. The group level deals with the collective action and sense of agency that woman experience together, in a group.

The red list of species under threat of extinction, complexed by the species survival, Commission Of The International Union of The Conservation of Nature, indicates that the current extinction rate of amphibians is roughly 1,000 times higher than any other time in their 360 million year history. The survival of amphibians is crucial to the future of our planet. Amphibians are good indicators of the general health of ecosystem. They can be key to the food chain and act as a critical form of pest control. Frogs are highly important for developing some medical treatments, including potential treatments for cancer and AIDS, pain killers and new kinds of antibiotics. Frogs act as an early warning system for us about health of our planet.

The entire system development cycle is the base for all systems development and methodologies. There are several activities related to each phase in SDLC. SDLC seven phase model is a model that consists of seven stages. It consists of a systematic progression and a procedural checklist that are necessary for developing an IT system from commencement. The seven stages of this model include conception planning, planning and requirements definitions, design, development and testing, implementation, operations and maintenance and disposition (Cannon, 2009).

computer users including students, home and corporate users, system administrators, corporate managers, and even the anti-virus manufacturers. The viruses are written by people with malefic intentions to bother innocent users. There are many sorts of viruses are boot sector viruses, file viruses, worms, Trojan horses, macro viruses, etc. Each of those has many various variants. Some viruses were transmitting through floppies, boot sector viruses are very rare, but nowadays as nobody boots from floppies. Today, viruses transmit more through networks and emails. Macro viruses are most prevalent within the current days. The viruses generally attempt to exploit the ambiguities of the OS, application programs, windows sockets, and even anti-virus programs. Some viruses are so dangerous that they will make the system completely unusable and irreparable. Nowadays the detection of computer viruses has become common place.
