Abstract: A 3-(2-Hydroxylphenylimino)indolin-2-one [HPI2O] is use as a reagent for the extractive spectrophotometric determination of Thorium. The reagent HPI2O gave instantaneous and stable violet coloured complex with Thorium at pH 7.6. The colour reaction in detail has been explored and the possibility of photometric determination of the micro amounts of Thorium is established with necessary conditions. A linear calibration graph over the concentration range 1 ppm to 10 ppm was obtained by applying the spectrophotometric method at wavelength 430 nm. The stoichiometry of the complex is established as 1:2 (M:L) by Jobs method of continuous variation and confirmed by mole ratio method. The Sandells Sensitivity is 0.09302 g cm-2 with molar absorptivity 4988.8 L mol-1 cm -1. The results of the prescribed procedure applied for the determination of the micro amounts of Th(IV) in various synthetic samples are presented.

Indian General Insurance market is one of the dynamic, a clear depiction of rapid growth on an overall perspective, operating its business for assuring the protection of the people. It is in the forefront of the security needs of the society and its people. In the year 2018-19 General insurance sector has a significant rise in the gross written premiums compared to the previous years. Non-life insurance has an integral role in the socio-economic growth and development of every nation by providing its services in all segments of the society. It is seen in the rural areas of the nation especially the remote inner areas are still neglected with the services of general insurance. That is certain extend of the needy people of this area is still unprotected and there by insecure. IRDA has provided some measures of special services to this area by designing special rural insurance policies but unfortunately most of the insures are not initiating these since it contributes less income. This study is based on primary data pertaining to the quality of providing general insurance services in Wayanad district, Kerala. Wayanad is the smallest and under developed district in Kerala with hill stations and in some areas tribal settlement is there. Data collected from hundred randomly selected respondents through an interview schedule. Methodological framing has also done. The main focus of the study is to examine whether the insurance companies potentially utilise the opportunities of the rural market in order to fill the gap of protecting the security requirements of rural mass.

Mental health is an individual and personal matter. As human beings we require to maintain sound mental health. However, we develop certain behaviors and habits which can lead to a poor state of mental health. Such behaviors range from mild irritation to severe forms of anxiety and depression. Mental illness is a broad term which includes almost all the disorders of mood behavior which caused by faulty perception, emotion, thinking and attitude. Such individual also have problems in making adjustment with others in the society. Mental disorders is a significant contributor to the global burden of disease and affects people in all communities across the world. Mental disorders often start at a young age. Today eve third person in India cities is a youth so Mental and behavioral problems are increasing part of the health problems in India. If we take a look in Ayurveda so in Ayurveda also mental health has a great importance for all over healthy personality. Ayurveda consider prassana atma, indriya and mana beside the equilibrium of dosha, dhatu and mala as swastha.ayurvedadeals with four aspects of lifestyle which can ensure good health in us. These include right food (Ahara), right recreation (vihara), right routine (achara), and right thinking (Vichara) life. Observing certain practice ensure a healthy and happy life. There are lots of discussion regarding Aachar Rasayana, sadvrutta, pranayama, Aasans etc. in Ayurveda. All these are helpful to maintain proper mental health as well as to tackle mental illness. Role of these in altered mood behavior will be discussed in detailed in full paper.

Solving complicated problems in a contemporary knowledge-based society requires higher-order thinking (HOT). The most productive way to encourage development of HOT in students is through use of the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model. This model organizes learning by solving corresponding problems relative to study courses. Students are directed to develop HOT skills needed for problem-solving that are essential for their future professional activities. However, in order to promote effective HOT skills development of students in PBL learning environment, enhancement of the model is required. The model enhancement can be attained through specific computer-mediated assessment of learning of students. In this paper we introduce an innovative approach to complex, adaptive, and computer-mediated assessment of HOT skills development of individual students. The complexity of assessment is expressed by forming the combined assessments of HOT skills of different types. Adaptation of assessment to the process of HOT skills development is expressed by changes in an instructors fixed assessments by crossing from one phase of PBL to another. Assessment adaptation is provided for individual students as for a study group. Computer-mediation of assessment is provided by a Computer Assessment Tool which promotes students HOT skills development and facilitates the assessment process for an instructor. The proposed coefficient of success of HOT skills development serves as an effective tool of analysis of this process.

Topical gels or formulations have many advantages as compared to other conventional dosage form. Topical gels are less toxic and more effective than other dosage form. Topical gels are best choice for treat local infections and skin problems because of it directly apply on the skin or in the site. Topical gels provide action direct to the site of action. Topical gels exclude the GI irritation and metabolism of drug by which the bioavailability of drug is greater. Drug-Drug interaction and Food drug interaction is also not possible in the case of topical gels. Gels have better penetrating power because gel consists two phase. In this review a detailed study about gel, its preparation, characteristics and evaluation parameter was done.

Abstract: One of the most popular ways of administering a medicament is by converting it to its oral dosage form although it has several advantages over the other methods of administration which includes lesser extent of absorption of medicament but these disadvantages can be easily masked by manufacturing medicament in its liquid dosage form. The possible benefit of doing so is reduction in dosage used. The problem which causes the limited use of liquid dosage form is that there are certain drugs which are not stable in its liquid dosage form. There is an alternative method available which use effervescent technique to develop dosage forms. The advantage of using this method is drug disintegration and dissolution can be accelerated by it. The quick release preparations are the example of product produced by this method. The tablets produced by effervescent technique are broadly significant in controlling the behavior of drug release, sustained and controlled release preparations, pulsate drug delivery system etc are the few products of this technique. This review illustrated the fresh application of effervescent tablet.

Afghanistan has made considerable progress in domestic revenue mobilization ( DRM) over the past two decades. Afghan government has collected a total of only $10 million in total government revenue in 2020. It collected $2.4 billion, or about 12 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2016. The government has focused its efforts on the simplest taxes to collect, namely, import duties, a tax referred to as the business receipts tax (BRT), and simple income taxes for both individuals and companies and for which a very simplified tax was developed for small businesses that could be paid in place of the corporate income tax (CIT) and the BRT. The Afghans implemented a new, partially rationalized duty schedule, with fewer rates and a schedule following the Harmonized System of codes for classifying traded goods to enhance transparency and fairness for the sake of import duties. On the administrative side, the Afghan government had to build both tax and customs administrations almost from scratch developing their staff and equipping them with the tools to do their jobs which included skills, procedures, equipment, facilities, and information technology (IT). The international donor agencies took pragmatic steps in this regard by providing training, materials, and technical assistance to rebuild the Afghan Revenue Department (ARD), design new procedures, construct or refurbish facilities, implement IT-based solutions, and extend ARDs reach to all of the countrys provinces. Experts from different countries helped the Afghan government draft new laws and regulations, prepare manuals, and train staff to implement them. Although a considerable progress has been made, Afghanistan still faces many challenges -- to strengthen its tax and customs administrations, root out corruption, and facilitate taxpayer compliance. The long desired value added tax (VAT) has been enacted into law and is planned for implementation starting in 2020.

People have a crucial need of energy to cook. Presently, in developing countries like India this requirement is rectified by openly burning wood derived products in fires and wooden stoves. Many of the developing countries create large amount of agro wastes but they are used inefficiently creating extensive pollution to the environment. In order to explore the significance of areca nut waste as an alternative feed for gasifier. Based on the current cultivated area, the estimated recyclable biomass production from areca nut is about 4.55.4 million tones once a year in India and about 9.010.8 million tones within the world. The results thus obtained were then compared with the commercially available biomass and therefore the comparison results were quiet satisfactory. Hence, it can be concluded that biomass produced from areca sheets is used as a feed for gasifier.

With evolving technology, there are various ways and solutions for travelers to find information regarding their tour destinations. These include tourism websites, social network sites, blogs, forums, and search engines. Information found in these ways is not based on travelers preferences. Also, many places that deserve to be visited remain untouched due to the lack of public information. Many points of interest may be located within a range of dozens of kilometers from our homes, but usually we prefer to travel hundreds or even thousands of kilometers to visit some other well-known location. This paper proposes a web application which will help to address above challenges. In this paper, we address the development and the key features of a tourist guide application named Explore Mumbai. This application offers a set of searches and ?lters to facilitate the exploration of new locations, all of which is achieved using python framework- flask. MySQL is used to manage the database. Various web scraping techniques and tools such as Octoparse, request and lxml libraries are used for data collection and dataset creation. Features of places derived from descriptions, reviews of other people who visited those places and history of the user are the key features used to produce a list of recommended locations for the user. Other attributes such as location of the user is kept into mind when there is a cold start problem. To achieve the above goal KNN algorithm is used to compare latitude and longitude of various locations with current user location to recommend nearby locations. Content based recommendation is achieved using description of a hotel and then analysing similarities between other hotels description using TF-IDF. Collaborative filtering is used to compare other users review on a place with the users review. Cosine similarity is used to measure how many similar keywords are present in the descriptions and reviews

ABSTRACT: The origins of the two branches of the womens liberation movement are used to illustrate the micro structural prerequisites of movement formation. It is proposed that there must be a pre existing co-optable communications network within at least part of the social base of a potential movement in order for any "spontaneous" activity to have more than a temporary effect. This network must be galvanized by a combination of precipitating events and specific organizing activity. It is further hypothesized that the nature of the initial core groups will largely determine the subsequent structure and strategy of the movement.
