 Abstract

A library management system is an initiative that aims to provide an automated and computerised version of a library so that everyday operations can be quickly and effectively controlled and monitored. Previously, the librarian managed the entire workload manually using files and record books. Additionally, the manual management of adding new books, new students, issuing, and returning books was highly slow and ineffective. This issue is fixed and a better solution is provided by the App Based Library Management System. The librarian will have access to the module. He can use the application to carry out a variety of tasks, including adding new students and books to the database, issuing and returning books, updating student and book information. The student has the opportunity to view every book in the library, search for the availability of a specific book, view the number of books he has issued, view the total fine due, and do other activities. These modules are interconnected with each other and also with the database. The application is built using Java technology and SQL database.

 Abstract

The present study was carried out to find the population dynamics of aphid and thrips in Bt cotton agroecosystem in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan during the 2022-23, Kharif season. Cotton plants are hosts for various insect pests such as sucking insect pests, bollworms and foliage insect pests. Cotton aphid and thrips are two major sucking insect pests of Bt cotton. They cause deleterious effect on cotton plants and reduced the overall productivity of crop. During kharif 2022-23, aphids infestation starts from the 29th SMW and it remains active till 45th SMW in transgenic cotton. On the other hand the first activity of thrips was observed during the 31st SMW and remained in action till 46th SMW. The peak activity of both type of insect pests were recorded during the 39th SMW, which was most favourable for thrips as well as for aphids.

 Abstract

Most of the process industries use mild steel and carbon steel ducts for transfer of large amounts of gases. However due to corrosion or improper welding the ducts get damaged. Inspection of larger size ducts and pipes like chimneys takes lot of time and effort due to lesser accessibility in terms of size and hurdles. We can use wheel-based movers for horizontal surfaces, but it is not possible for vertical surfaces. As a part of our project work, we are planning to fabricate and test a Magnetic Metal Surface Climber which can climb on metallic surfaces (made up of mild steel or carbon steel) for inspection. We are using electromagnets and Lead Screw to make the machine capable of travelling on horizontal as well as vertical surfaces having good magnetic properties. This machine can make video of the path it is travelling on, and camera can transfer data to mobile phone or computer.

 Abstract

Women entrepreneurs are essential to a country's economic development. The purpose of this research is to acquire a better knowledge of the socio-cultural elements influencing the development of female entrepreneurs in India. Women constitute half of India's population; however they are underrepresented in manufacturing and other entrepreneurial endeavours. Women face a host of societal and cultural constraints. Rural places have more socio-cultural aspects than metropolitan areas. The majority of rural women are stay-at-home moms. Many people consider becoming an entrepreneur to be a pipe dream. As a result, women's contributions to entrepreneurship in India's social and economic growth, both in rural and urban areas, are smaller. According to the findings of the study, socio-cultural factors have a major impact on women entrepreneurs and their contribution to the state economy. A number of socio-cultural elements have been identified as having a significant influence on entrepreneurship. However, it has been established that the distribution of entrepreneurship is uneven among places as well as within groups within the same region. One of the key drivers of the expansion of women's entrepreneurship in a certain location is socio-cultural factors. The socio-cultural environment in which a person is raised can have a variety of effects on that individual. The purpose of this research was to explore into the notion of socio-cultural components and their impact on the development of female entrepreneurs in India.

 Abstract

Since it is a universal solvent, water has the power to dissolve both organic and inorganic materials. The component of water that is present at the ideal level for healthy plant and animal growth is often referred to as the water's quality. The growth of living organisms in the body of water is influenced by several significant elements, including temperature, turbidity, nutrients, hardness, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, etc. An environmental danger is created when domestic waste is dumped straight into the water of the Karanji lake in the Mysore, India. Water samples were taken every month and analysed for a variety of physical and chemical characteristics, including temperature, pH, electric conductivity, turbidity, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, etc., to better understand the condition. Statistics were compared to standard values established by W.H.O. guidelines (1998), which showed that the water content had excessive levels of turbidity, total dissolved solids, pH, hardness, alkalinity, and phosphate. The buildup of these pollutants poses a grave threat to aquatic and terrestrial life.

 Abstract

A retailing market's ability to make informed business decisions and estimate long-term and non-permanent performance depends on accurate income forecasts. A retailer can estimate its anticipated future revenues for income earned over a specific period of time with the aid of sales forecasting. As a result, time is crucial in sales forecasting. With the aim of identifying patterns, cycles, and seasonal variances, the time sequence assessment makes the evaluation of observations as a series of statistics at specific intervals over a period of time. This will be a helpful resource in the predicting of future events. In this study, we used XGBoost to create a machine learning model to forecast the organization's future sales and revenue.

 Abstract

Introduction: Phlebitis, which can happen to as many as 75-80% of hospitalised patients, is one of the most typical side effects of peripheral intravenous catheters. The thrombus in the vein produces discomfort and irritation and could obstruct blood flow. Objectives: To determine whether applying cold or glycerin magnesium sulphate is more successful at reducing thrombophlebitis in patients who have had intravenous treatment. Method: It was quasi-experimental, pre-test-post-test. 60 thrombophlebitis patients were randomly selected and put into two groups. Experimental group-I (N=30) applied glycerin magnesium sulphate and experimental group-II (N=30) applied cold thrice a day for three days to the thrombophlebitis site. Pre-test and post-test used modified visual infusion phlebitis scale. Result: Statistical findings revealed that the experimental group-I mean score 6.00 was lesser than the experimental group-II mean score 6.47. The obtained 't' value was 2.191, significant at 0.05 level. Conclusion: From the above findings, it was evidenced that glycerin magnesium sulphate application was effective than the cold application on reduction of thrombophlebitis among patients received intravenous therapy.

 Abstract

Sign Language is substantially used by deaf and dumb people to change information between their own community and with other people. It's a language where people use their hand gestures to communicate as they can not speak or hear. Sign Language Recognition( SLR) deals with feting the hand gestures achievement and continues till text is generated for corresponding hand gestures. Then hand gestures for sign language can be classified as static and dynamic. still, static hand gesture recognition is simpler than dynamic hand gesture recognition, but both recognition is important to the community. We can use Deep Learning Computer Vision to fete the hand gestures by erecting Deep Neural Network infrastructures(complication Neural Network infrastructures) where the model will learn to fete the hand gestures images over an time. Once the model Successfully recognizes the gesture the corresponding English text is generated and also display on the screen. This model will be more effective and hence communicate for the deaf and dump people will be easier.

 Abstract

Heart disease is a severe health issue that might impact millions of individuals worldwide (HD). Early diagnosis of a cardiac condition will thus benefit in therapy. Because the frequency of heart disease is rapidly growing, it is critical to create technology that can identify the condition more promptly. The presence or absence of a condition is determined by the patient's smoking history. The heart disease system may be able to detect high-risk individuals, explain the essential characteristics of cardiovascular patients, and develop a model that allows them to be distinguished. Machine learning algorithms are applied and assessed based on characteristics such as age, heartbeat, cholesterol, sex, blood pressure, and chest pain. The primary goal of this effort is to create a simple machine learning model.

: Commercial Propane and Commercial Butane, both of which contain saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons, make up LPG. Because of the versatile nature of LPG, it is used for many needs such as domestic fuel, industrial fuel, auto-mobile fuel, illumination, etc. and the demand for LPG is continuously increasing day by day. Liquefied petroleum gas is used widely in homes, industries, and automobiles as fuel because of its desirable properties which include high calorific value, it creates very less smoke, and not causing much harm to the environment. Natural gas is another widely used fuel in homes. Both burn to produce clean energy, however, there is a serious threat of leakage. The gases being 5 times heavier than air do not disperse easily.

 Abstract

In the mall every person takes product put into trolley. After the shopping is done that person have to stand in the queue for billing. In the billing process a sell person scan barcode of each and every product and gives final bill. This process is very time consuming and it becomes worst on holidays, special offers or weekends. So far the solution to the problem has been intelligent forklifts with different technologies . There have been a number of methods designed for smart spending carts in order to make shopping easier for the customers in malls and save the time of customers by avoiding the requirements to stand in long billing queues. Here we are using the RFID technology which means the bill payment also done in the shopping trolley at the customer without standing in the queue. Electronic Commerce has become extremely popular with the rise in the wireless technologies and other communication techniques. In this paper we are discussing about the smart trolley system for real time application. RFID reader will read the tag data and the amount and it will sent to the server using the wi-fi module with operating frequency (2.4GHz).Here we are using python language for programming communication with the thing speak

 Abstract

In India, more than 200 children go missing every day, amounting to 73,000 missing children every year. To address this massive issue, We have created an application that would assist parents in locating their missing child. This android/iOS application employs a Facial Recognition technology, Google Geo, SMS, email services, and the Missing Child's database maintained by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to identify their child's location. If a common citizen finds a lost child on the street without any guardian or parents, they can take a picture of their child; if the child's face is detected in the database, this application will send an SOS message to the Police and Childs Parents. When the child's face is identified, this application sends all data to the server and from the server to the police department. When a face is identified, police as well as parents can obtain a geolocation of the child. To acquire information and identify existing problems, a study of a few existing child facial recognition system was conducted. The Rational Unified Process (RUP) paradigm was used in this project's methodology. To obtain user requirements and needs for the system, data collecting methods such as questionnaires and interviews were used. Based on user feedback, the results were analyzed. The majority of users (parents) agree and look forward to implementing the system.

 Abstract

The shift of transportation technology from internal combustion engine (ICE) based vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) in recent times due to their lower emissions, fuel costs, and greater efficiency has brought EV technology to the forefront of the electric power distribution systems due to their ability to interact with the grid through vehicle-to-grid (V2G) infrastructure. The greater adoption of EVs presents an ideal use-case scenario of EVs acting as power dispatch, storage, and ancillary service-providing units. This EV aspect can be utilized more in the current smart grid (SG) scenario by incorporating demand-side management (DSM) through EV integration. The integration of EVs with DSM techniques is hurdled with various issues and challenges addressed throughout this review. As the use of electric vehicles (EVs) increases, managing their impact on the power grid becomes increasingly important. Smart grid technologies offer a solution to this problem, with demand side management (DSM) being a key approach. DSM involves managing the demand for electricity on the grid, incentivizing customers to reduce their usage during peak periods. In the context of EVs, DSM can be used to manage the charging of these vehicles during off-peak periods when the demand for electricity is lower. Additionally, Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries can be utilized as potential energy storage devices in micro-grids. They can help in micro-grid energy management by storing energy when there is surplus (Grid-To-Vehicle, G2V) and supplying energy back to the grid (Vehicle-To-Grid, V2G) when there is demand for it & helping to balance the grid and reduce demand. These DSM techniques can help to ensure that the power grid is able to handle the additional demand from EVs while maintaining stability and reliability. Overall, DSM in smart grids is an essential tool for managing the load of EVs and creating a more sustainable and efficient power grid.

 Abstract

In the current generation, online social networks have grown in popularity, which has had an impact on how individuals interact with one another on different social media platforms. Several activities, including promotion, communication, agenda formulation, advertisement, and news generation, have started to be done on social media platforms. It has gotten simpler to add new friends and stay in touch with them and their updates. These online social networks have been the subject of research to see how they affect people. Some fraudulent accounts are used, to spread false information and further political agendas, for example. Finding a fraudulent account is important. Machine learning-based techniques were used to find fake accounts that might deceive users. The dataset is pre-processed using various Python libraries, and a comparison model is obtained to get a feasible algorithm suitable for the given dataset. Several machine learning algorithms try to identify fraudulent accounts on social media platforms. The detection of fake accounts takes advantage of the classification abilities of the algorithms K-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, and Support Vector Machines.
