 Abstract

A long-term condition that mostly affects the lungs is asthma. 300 million individuals worldwide suffer from asthma. This persistent illness claims the lives of 255,000 people worldwide each year. The illness known as asthma narrows and swells the lungs' airways, which results in coughing, chest tightness, wheezing, and shortness of breath. Inflammation (swelling) of the airways is the cause of asthma. The muscles that surround the airways tighten and the lining of the airways expands during an asthma episode. As a result, less air is able to travel through the airway. Breathing allergens or triggers can cause asthma symptoms in people with sensitive airways. This study primarily discusses the pathophysiology, management, diagnosis, symptoms, precautions to prevent future progression, and key causes of chronic asthma.

 Abstract

Smart phone, being compact in size, provides an all-in-one solution for mobile calls, emails, and internet access. Recently the Smartphone sales have plunged for several brands at an affordable price as Oppo, Mi, and Vivo. India is set to become the third-largest market for smart phones in four years, according to researcher international data Corporation, with phone manufacturers launching more affordable 4G handsets and looking to tap buyers in small cities and towns. This research is designed to provide information about customer perception and factors affecting their buying behavior with respect to Mi smart phones. The research design used is exploratory in nature which will provide an emphasis on numerical data (number). The data for analysis was gathered by using questionnaire method, with the sample for the representative customer with simple random sampling approach. There are several observations that each Smartphone has their own benefit and luxury offered by the companies. The product attributes offered by Mi's are not as desirable as its competitors (such as Samsung) according to customer perception. The company needs to improve each of their products to gain customer expectations. It is recommended that the company should launch smarter phone with standard quality for lower classes as this will help them to reach more consumer as lower classes population in country are high.

 Abstract

In today's competitive landscape, where customers have a plethora of choices across various industries, understanding and predicting customer churn has become paramount for businesses. This study focuses on discerning the factors influencing churn in Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms and predicting customer behavior. Data from 336 respondents, who subscribe to multiple OTT platforms, was collected via questionnaires, encompassing demographic information, platform usage, and user satisfaction metrics. Through a combination of Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) and feature ranking techniques, factors influencing churn were identified. Hierarchical Logistic Regression was employed to gauge the impact of new variables such as 'Switching Frequency' and 'Primary Platform' on churn prediction. Finally, customer churn prediction was executed using Decision Tree, Random Forest, and AdaBoost methods, with Random Forest yielding superior results.

 Abstract

Skin disease among humans has been a common disease, millions of people are suffering from various kinds of skin diseases. Usually, these diseases have hidden dangers which lead to not only lack of self-confidence and psychological depression but also lead to a risk of skin cancer. Medical experts and high-level instruments are needed to diagnosis these skin diseases due to non-availability of visual resolution in skin disease images. The proposed framework includes deep learning techniques such as CNN architecture and predefined models called InceptionV3. A Dataset of images with seven diseases has been taken for the Classification of Skin diseases. They include diseases like Melanoma, Nevus, Seborrheic Keratosis etc. The dataset was extended by adding images having cuts and burns, which were classified as skin disease by most of the existing systems. The usage of Deep Learning algorithms has reduced the need for human labor, such as manual feature extraction and data reconstruction for classification purposes.

 Abstract

Grahani is described as an agni adhisthana by most of the acharyas. In todays era there are irregularities in the nutrient and dietary timings of the people.Apart from this people under constant mental stress due to multiple reasons. All of these factors lead to abnormalities in the function of gastrointestinal system. In grahani roga there is vitiation of grahani (organ-duodenum) which is prime location of Agni. Jatharagni has been considered to be prime among all agnis. The functioning of other agnis such as dhatvagni and bhutagni are dependent on the strength of jatharagni. If jatharagni is vitiated then all other agnis get vitiated. If vridhhi of jatharagni is happened then vridhhi of all other agnis is happened. If kshaya of jatharagni is happened then kshaya of all other agnis is happened. In Ayurveda" Mandagni" is considered as the root cause for manifestation of many diseases. Among them, grahani roga is one of the prime diseases of gastro-intestinal tract and seen often in day to day practice. Grahani (organ- duodenum) and agni are interdependent. Mandagni leads to Ama Dosha which may result in grahani roga over time. The treatment of this disease depends on the sthana (location) of Ama Dosha. It includes Agnideepak and virechak aushadhi yogas. If Ama Doshas are present in all over body then aushadhi yogas are mentioned in classics to treat grahani roga.

 Abstract

The Placement Management System is an advanced platform designed for the effective tracking and evaluation of student placements in various businesses [10]. ReactJS, a web-based tool, has been utilized to develop an advanced platform known as the Placement Management System [9]. The PMS enables the placement cell to securely store student data in a database that can be utilized by companies for recruitment purposes, along with access to alumni records [8]. Both technical skills and personal information of students are included within this comprehensive system, allowing universities to efficiently manage student and placement-related data [4]. Through its user-friendly interface and feature-rich dashboard displaying dynamic statistical graphs [9], valuable insights into students' performance during their placements can be gained by users. This project harnesses ReactJS technology with the goal of streamlining placement management processes through advanced methods that optimize data efficiency, ultimately leading to time savings, reduced physical labour efforts, and decreased paper consumption.

 Abstract

Over the years, there has been a surge in education-related studies, conducted in diverse thematic, temporal, and spatial contexts with the employment of different designs, methods, and tools. School exclusion is a major thematic area that has been continuing to date. In the realm of Educational Sociology and Educational Policies, addressing this proliferation of literature and emerging knowledge necessitates well-conducted systematic reviews and meta-analyses to bring to the forefront the micro problems embedded in communities that trigger school exclusion and make it a chronic issue despite strong policy measures to overcome it. With this backdrop, the present article makes an earnest attempt to review articles on exclusion and exclusion syndrome noted in Indian schools, its trend, the reformative policy measures, and the impacts of such policies on ending exclusion. A plethora of literature generated through field research and policy documents related to each of the variables and mediating variables have been considered for this study. Literature has been pooled from Google, Google Scholar, Jester, Science Direct, ProQuest, American.edu, and Scopus. Studies relating to both global and national scenarios have been analyzed. Based on data quality, focus area, rigorous procedures, and the removal of replicas, appropriate literature was found from various sources, and the ensuing works were examined. The PICO framework has been used to break a problem down into searchable components for review and meta-analysis. Further, the meta-analysis paper has tried to pinpoint the nature of exclusion noted in Indian schools and the lacunae of the school-inclusive policy i.e. RTE,2009 with an expectation that the outcomes can serve as policy feeders to make school education more inclusive.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research reviews the evidence for workplace health and wellness interventions and their impact on employees and employers. This evaluation provides recommendations for supporting and enhancing employee health and well-being, as well as identifying gaps in knowledge and recommending more research. Leadership training has shown significant effects on weariness, self-reported illness absence, work-related sickness absence, and job satisfaction in trials comparing health-oriented training programs to no intervention. Studies comparing health-focused leadership. Comparing work related training to other training did not provide significant results. Research on the effectiveness of health-oriented leadership interventions on employee stress, absenteeism, and well-being is limited, highlighting the need for further and higher-quality studies. Employees typically work 9 hours per day and 48 hours per week. Work has a substantial impact on well-being and life satisfaction, given the amount of time workers spend at work. Employees who are not in good physical or mental health cannot perform to their full ability. An employee's capacity to address challenges creatively is influenced by their overall wellbeing. It impacts employees' work attitudes, relationships with coworkers, and overall wellness. Many organizations have integrated workplace wellness practices into their HR objectives. Employee productivity mediated the modest influence of employee wellbeing on organizational productivity. The conditional indirect effect of employee wellbeing on the organization. Employee productivity increased significantly for low, medium, and high moderator levels.

 Abstract

The Shivnath River is a medium flowing river of Chhattisgarh, which starts from the southern part of Chhattisgarh and joins its numerous tributaries towards the east. This reflects the three month seasonal interval that is responsible for fishing. Some of these rivers also die. The place of collecting samples is Rajnandgaon, the stoppage dam and some barrages are integrated. Information about some of its tributaries has also been examined. The intention of the nature of changeable water is continued by the presence of some data present in the water. In this, physics test and chemical test are to be used to test the water which depends on the behavior of fish in fish farming. This experiment is being conducted with the help of more useful equipment for the test which we have done for a fish and shows its behavior in depth. In this process (Biological Oxygen Demand) BOD, Chemical Oxygen Demand) COD, pH, Spectrophotometer, Photochlorimetre, (Total Dissolve Solid) TDS is the consolidated form of numbers calculated through spectrophotometer meter. This is a not only a fish culture for the survival of the fish but also from the agricultural point of view. It is also indicated for cage culture techniques in fish farming.

The Article 21 of the Constitution of India talks about the right to life. It is one of the most discussed Article. Different judges have given different interpretations of this respective Article in various cases. Few people are of the opinion that euthanasia should be legalised as the patient's life is ended with his own consent. If we compare the interest of an individual to that of the society then the individual interest would be given more weightage. Therefore, it is an obligation on the society to guarantee a peaceful life for a person. In the 196th report of Law Commission this point was widely discussed. The commission gave certain recommendations. It said that there should be a law which safeguards patients who are at the verge of succumbing to death because of severe illness denying all possible treatments offered. Euthanasia and its types have been briefly discussed under this article.

 Abstract

We are living in an era of mass media. Children from a very young age, say from infancy, are introduced to this mass media. In infancy to soothe them, songs will be played. Later along with audios, videos will be shown. Thus, they are introduced to the mass media at a very young age, where they are unable to understand what is right and wrong. A considerable number of YouTube and television channels are available for children now. Children get a variety of knowledge at a young age through these videos. In contrast to older times where children gained their knowledge from teachers and parents, today's children get more knowledge from internet and other mass media. Earlier, by an age of three to four children were introduced to learning and they start distinguishing right and wrong. But today, children are pre equipped with knowledge even before they get into preschool learning. The children's brain is readied with what they see, it has the power to mould their character too, to a certain extent. Many channels' programs are didactic in nature. So, it teaches and instructs children. Though it helps children to attain a wide range of knowledge, it has its negative impacts too. Children like to be in the virtual reality than the reality. Increased screen time constrain them from life experience. This, along with the environment children live in move them away from nature too. Emergence of Artificial Intelligence gives a lively experience to children. Covid pandemic that struck the world, had struck the childhood of children. Screen time increased, and their education, growth and thinking relied on what they watched on screen. Children who approach adulthood change their video patterns from mere didactic videos to video games and other adult videos. Childhood is the period where a person is able to mould their character. It needs proper guidance. Videos they watch do not have the power to lead them to the right path, though it helps to induce multiple perception in children.

 Abstract

Employees who are actively engaged in their job and committed to their organizations provide significant competitive advantages to their organizations, such as increased productivity and fewer employee turnover. The research focused on the practices used in the organization to engage employees. The objective of this research was to determine the amount of dedication, employee perception of their job, and top management support in the business. In order to investigate employee engagement, this study used a descriptive survey approach. The sample was drawn from the organization using a random sampling procedure. Primary and secondary data were used in the course of the study. According to the findings of the study, employer assistance and recognition would contribute to the development of trust between employees and management. The organization promoted information sharing. The organization supported the exchange of information, knowledge, and resources, as well as chances for employees to develop and grow, influencing employee engagement. Employee commitment is proven by good reward programs and techniques that show an interest in employee career development. It can be concluded that allowing people to make their own work decisions, control their work, and attain their goals may help employees become more involved in their careers. Furthermore, it is suggested that managers inside organizations include employees more in goal setting. In order to increase commitment levels, organizations must also develop methods for recognizing employee contributions that help clarify what it means to be an employee engagement.

 Abstract

India continues to constantly experience growth in inflows of foreign direct investments. The enforcement of Investment Laws has become very important and powerful. It does so by tracing the different legal developments that have enabled the strength of the present governance. Investment laws, foreign market regulations, and corporate governance codes are important components shaping the business environment in India. As one of the world's fastest-growing economies, India attracts an important influx of foreign investment and interest from multinational corporations. However, understanding the legal landscape of governing investments and market operations is paramount for companies aiming to thrive in this dynamic environment. In this respect, the two points of furnishing investment protection and of fostering profitable development are examined. This study includes a detailed examination of the historical perspective of investment laws. It also turns to an analysis of central legal instruments, as well as investment insurance agencies and a large network of bilateral investment covenants. In today's world, domestic capital is not sufficient for the development of countries that will ensure competitiveness in global markets. Foreign investments, that enter the host state as debt or capital, constitute important financial resources for developing economies. This study tried to examine the key regulations administering foreign investments in India with brief descriptions of the modalities and rules related to making FDIs in India. Foreign Investments are regulated mainly by India's DPIIT, under its Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) regimes. Attracting foreign inflows continues to be one of the main concerns of the Indian government, as it continues to frame the FDI legal landscapes to make India the investor friendly jurisdictions. The key challenges that most investors confront are the Indian administration framework, which is intertwined among the central and state structures. Any type of investments have to face many complex bureaucratic procedures and comply with both state and central regulations. In addition, duties and levies experience frequent amendments during the Annual Central and State budget exercise. These factors are the key causes why many international firms indicate 'managing regulation and procedures' as one of the key issues. The issues of this examination overall indicate that the standard of protection stands in conflict with potentially successful development strategies. For this reason, it seems the government has contributed to investment protection, but not to development. The study also tried to examine some reflections on the part of judiciary in more important systems of global governance, similar to that of investment law.

 Abstract

Abstract: Bharatnatyam is one of the ancient Indian classical dance form performed till today. In Bharatnatyam dance rhythmic stamping performed barefoot at varying speed may influence the height of medial longitudinal arch of the foot, causing pronation of feet. Balance, strength, co-ordination and agility are major demands for dancers. Any structural alteration in foot complex may have an impact on these components which might affect their performance and can cause foot injuries. Therefore, this study aims at finding correlation of pronation of feet with static and dynamic balance and agility. Aim: To correlate pronation of feet with balance and agility in Bharatnatyam dancers. Methodology: A correlational study was done in which 60 Bharatnatyam dancers with age group of 15 to 30 years, having 5 or more years of experience in Pune using purposive sampling as per inclusion and exclusion criteria. Navicular drop test was used to include dancers with flat foot. Three tests Stork stand test, Modified bass test and Hexagonal agility test were used to assess static balance, dynamic balance and agility respectively. Each test was explained and demonstrated and best results were noted. Data was collected, statistical analysis was done and results were tabulated. Data Analysis and Result: Data analyzed through non-parametric test using Graphpad Prism version 10.2.1. In Stork stand test, 43% dancers had fair grade and 57% dancers had poor static balance. In modified bass test, 55% had good, 26.6% had moderate and 18.2 % had fair dynamic balance. In Hexagon Agility test clockwise direction, 68% had fair, 9% had good, 18% needs improvement and 5% had poor agility. In Hexagon Agility test anti-clockwise direction, 73% had fair, 10% had good, 9% needs improvement and 8% had poor agility. Study found that there is no correlation (p-value>0.05) between pronation of feet with dynamic balance, non-significant (p-value>0.05) weak negative correlation was found between pronation of feet with static balance of right side and agility and there is significant (p-value<0.05) weak negative correlation between pronation of feet with static balance of left side. Conclusion: This study concluded that there is weak negative correlation between pronation of feet with static balance and there is no correlation between pronation of feet with dynamic balance and agility in Bharatnatyam dancers, but agility was fair to poor.
