 Abstract

Today chronic diseases are the fastest rising diseases in the humans; this may be caused due to a lot of reasons like dietary habits, physical movement and unhealthful habits such as alcohol and cigarettes use. The design of this system creates integration of the real time continuous and long term health monitoring system to observe the biomedical parameters like heart-rate, blood pressure, ECG, body temperature and pulse oximetry using biomedical sensor in the patient. The sensors are attached to the patient body; the parameters acquired from the patient are processed using Arduino Uno controller board and transmitted to a healthcare centre via wi-fi module. The received biomedical parameters are compared with the predefined threshold values. If the parameter is normal, then the parameter is stored in the database or else the alert message is sent with data to the doctor or to the patient care taker via wi-fi module.

 Abstract

Viewing systems are essential for building a mobile robot that will complete a task such as navigation, surveillance, and explosive disposal (EOD). This will let the robots controller or operator know what's in nature and perform the following tasks. With the recent development of deep neural networks in image processing, distortion and precision detection are now possible. In this paper, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) is used to find natural objects. Two types of art models are compared for object acquisition, Single Shot Multi-Box Detector (SSD) with MobileNetV1 and Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (Faster-RCNN) with InceptionV2. The result shows that one model is suitable for real-time use because of the speed and the other can be used to get something more accurate.

 Abstract

Recently, drug-drug cocrystal attracts more and more attention. It offers a low risk, low-cost but high reward route to new and better medicines and could improve the physiochemical & biopharmaceutical properties of a medicine by addition of a suitable therapeutically effective component without any chemical modification. Having so many advantages, to date, the reported drug-drug cocrystals are rare. Here we review the drug-drug cocrystals that reported in last decade and shed light on the opportunities and challenges for the development of drug-drug cocrystals.

This paper presents the study of silica fume and its influences on the properties of recent concrete additionally with steel fibre. The use of silicon oxide fume had major impact on industries, ability to habitually and commercially turn out silica fume changed concrete of flow in a position in nature however nonetheless stay cohesive, that successively produces high early and later age strength as well as immune to aggressive environments. We replaced silica fume to replace 9%, 10% & 11% of cement additionally of 0.5% of steel fibre.

 Abstract

: In the digitized living of the modern era more than 60% of the world population is using social media sites in day to day life. Social media marketing plays a tremendous role in the field of digital marketing where companies can spread their product information to a wide range of consumers. Studies show that the marketing strategies are based on the demographic target audience so social media gives the chance for the organization to establish a relationship between the consumer to learn about their buying behaviour. Social media has an impression on the consumer decision-making process so the consumer can finish the check-out process and avoid shopping cart abandonment. Social media marketers can meritoriously use big data to judge forthcoming buying patterns and trends. There are numerous social media networking sites for learning and monitoring consumer buying behaviour and social trends.

 Abstract

Social networking has become a common trend which has spread its reach to almost every corner of the world. The use of Social media sites have exploded and evolved into an online platform where people create content, share it, bookmark it and network at a prodigious rate. Among the prominent users of the social media are the students. This research assesses the impact of social media sites on student academic performance. The research was conducted using a descriptive survey design. Students from various departments at Parul University were used as the sample population. A validated questionnaire used for data collection . As a result, it can be concluded that social media has a dual impact on student achievement, and that individuals' use of social media networks must be approached with ultimate responsibility.

 Abstract

An interaction is said to occur when the effects of one drug are changed by the presence of another drug, herbal medicine, food, drink or by some environmental chemical agents. [ ] The outcome can be harmful if the interaction causes an increase in the toxicity of the drug. Ex 1: there is a considerable increase in risk of severe muscle damage if patients on statins start taking azole antifungals. Ex 2: patients onwarfarin given rifampicin need more warfarin to maintain adequate and protective anticoagulation. Ex 3: while patients taking tetracyclines or quinolones need to avoid antacids and milky fruits because the effects of these antibacterials can be reduced or even abolished if admixture occurs in the gut. These unwanted and unsought-for interactions are adverse and undesirable but there are other interactions that can be beneficial and valuable, such as the deliberate co-prescription of antihypertensive drugs and diuretics in order to achieve antihypertensive effects possibly not obtainable with either drug alone.

 Abstract

Innovative formulation development is the most emerging and upcoming face of pharmaceutical technology in the current era. It is contemporarily capturing the market leaps and bounds with recent trends and developments with its innovative techniques. Fluidized bed technology is a widely used technique of producing granules, coating, drying, cooling in pharmaceutical, food, detergent, and fertilizer industries. The Fluidized bed processor was developed in 1950 and it was one of the unique equipment widely used in Pharmaceutical Industry. At the beginning of its invention, it was used as a simple dryer and later on became highly effective with various modification like, addition of spray nozzle i.e. top spray, bottom spray or tangential spray granulators, rotor technology etc. With the development of rotor technology, the fluid bed system was used to manufacture pellets, granules, coating, drying etc. This review information regarding the advantages and the latest technology involved in the FBP which are utilized in pharmaceutical industry.

 Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of Store atmospherics in a retail store. This study also investigates the indirect effects mediated by perceived risk and price consciousness on these relationships. Brand awareness measures the accessibility of brand in memory, and can be measured through brand recall or brand recognition the recall of the brands in post purchase satiation having focus on effects of advertisement and media which help in the recall of the product. The variables which are used in the study are Brand value, Brand Engagement, Behavioural intention on Store atmospherics and brand salience. It was observed that the place and space of the advertisement play an important role in therecall of the brand besides this the proper categorization and shelving of the product also play a significant role in the recall. Questionnaire is used to collect data using convenience sampling from different age groups residing in Bangalore and exploratory factor analysis, SPSS 26 is used to analyze the data. The results of this study reveal, how instore branding is having an impact on the customer brand recall and loyalty. The literature reviews which were referred are mostly based on the relationship between Brand salience and the customer buying behavior or various studies are done based on the branding, Packaging and sales promotion, in this study we are finding the relation between the In-store branding and brand salience by using memory theory.

 Abstract

In this paper we tried to evaluate the performance of Selected top five HDFC equity schemes with growth option. The period of the study spans from 1st Jan 2018 till 31st Dec 2020. To evaluate the performance of the selected mutual fund schemes, yearly returns are compared with Benchmark (Nifty 50) returns. Further, statistical tools like average, standard deviation, beta, coefficient of determination and the risk adjusted performance measures suggested by Sharpe (1966), Treynor (1965) and Jenson (1968) were employed to evaluate the performance for the selected period.
