Abstract: Mushrooms are macroscopic fungi known for their nutritional and therapeutic importance. Pleurotus sajor-caju (grey oyster mushroom) is considered as one of the edible fungus meant for oyster shaped fruiting bodies and hence considered as grey oyster mushroom. This fleshy edible fungus is rich in nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, and multivitamins. The present research article investigated the antimicrobial effect of Pleurotus sajor-caju extracts on the bacterial strain Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Antimicrobial activity was tested with two different extracts of Pleurotus by using the disc-diffusion method. The two Both aqueous and methanolic powdered extracts exhibited antibacterial activity against tested bacterial strains. Comparatively, the Methanol extract revealed higher effects over aqueous extracts among the bacterial strain tested thus stating that Pleurotus sajor-caju extracts are one of the promising sources of novel antimicrobial agents.

An old Indian saying presents our fundamental and compulsory principle: The earth is not a heritage given to us by our ancestors, but loaned to preserve it for our offspring. Every individual should contribute to preserve and protect environment. But fourth assessment (AR4 2007) of the relevant scientific literature, the intergovernmental panel on climate change (IPCC) reported that scientists were more than 90% certain that most of global warming was being caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities. So through this paper, the investigator tried to study the incidence of attitude of would be female teachers towards environment. Convenient sampling technique was used. A total of 60 female prospective teachers from different colleges of Muktsar district comprised the sample of the study. Taj Environmental Attitude Scale (TEAS) by Haseen Taj (2001) and demographic sheet was used for data collection. Results revealed that female prospective teachers have positive attitude towards environment. There exists no significant difference between rural and urban female prospective teachers. It reveals that location do not affect the attitude of female prospective teachers towards environment.

Increasing concerns about climate change and sustainability, the adoption of renewable energy sources like solar power is on the rise worldwide. Solar energy has emerged as a prominent renewable energy source due to its abundance, accessibility, and environmental friendliness. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and output of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems by continuously tracking the maximum power point of the PV array. Various MPPT algorithms such as Perturb and Observe (P&O), Incremental Conductance (INC), and Fractional Open-Circuit Voltage (FOCV) are extensively discussed and applied in literature for improving the performance of PV systems. Researchers and practitioners have explored and implemented these MPPT algorithms in real-world PV systems to enhance energy harvesting efficiency and maximize power output. Partial shading in PV arrays can significantly reduce overall system efficiency and lead to mismatch losses. Advanced MPPT algorithms are employed to mitigate the impact of partial shading, ensuring optimal performance and energy yield from solar installations. In this project we will apply various techniques and algorithms like PandO, Incremental conductance for MPPT of solar PV systems and also we will compare the tracking efficiency of all these methods and we will extend the work to partial shading conditions also.

Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease (HD), is a long-term infection by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae or Mycobacterium lepromatosis. Infection can lead to damage of the nerves, respiratory tract, skin, and eyes. This nerve damage may result in a lack of ability to feel pain, which can lead to the loss of parts of a person's extremities from repeated injuries or infection through unnoticed wounds. An infected person may also experience muscle weakness and poor eyesight. Leprosy symptoms may begin within one year, but, for some people, symptoms may take 20 years or more to occur. Leprosy is spread between people, although extensive contact is necessary.Leprosy has a low pathogenicity, and 95% of people who contract M. leprae do not develop the disease. Spread is thought to occur through a cough or contact with fluid from the nose of a person infected by leprosy. Genetic factors and immune function play a role in how easily a person catches the disease.Leprosy does not spread during pregnancy to the unborn child or through sexual contact.Leprosy occurs more commonly among people living in poverty. There are two main types of the disease - paucibacillary and multibacillary, which differ in the number of bacteria present. A person with paucibacillary disease has five or fewer poorly pigmented, numb skin patches, while a person with multibacillary disease has more than five skin patches. The diagnosis is confirmed by finding acid-fast bacilli in a biopsy of the skin.

This study looks into how crypto currencies might help Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Greece, recover from the effects of the financial crisis and find new opportunities for economic growth. It is inspired by the substantial economic decline Greece endured after the financial crisis of 2008, which raised the possibility of bankruptcies and sharply decreased GDP per person. The subsequent imposition of capital controls further hampered the nation's financial activities. Research has shown that the studied region had a lower GDP per capita and degree of economic development than the national and EU averages. Using a mixed-methods approach that includes data analysis and a questionnaire-based survey, this study investigates the attitudes and actions of local business owners and consumers about digital currency. In addition, the survey targets consumers and company owners using probability and non-probability sampling approaches and uses closed-ended questions given through an online platform. In order to shed light on the role of crypto currencies as a way to lessen the effects of the financial crisis and boost economic activity in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the collected data are analyzed through the scopes of descriptive and deductive analyses with the use of SPSS software. The research showed that although participants did not think that a parallel digital currency would help the Greek economy, those who had been impacted by the crisis expressed a desire to invest in and use crypto currencies. However, business owners were reluctant to see crypto currency as long-term assets and lacked faith in their ability to revolutionize the local economy. The study's findings add to the expanding body of information about the use of crypto currencies and their possible advantages in areas experiencing economic hardship.
