In the previous couple of years, the provision of 3D content continues to be less than 2D counterpart. Hence many 2D-to-3D image conversion methods are proposed. Methods involving human operators are most successful but also tedious and expensive. Automatic methods that make use of a deterministic 3D scene model, have not yet achieved the identical level of quality for they depend on assumptions that are often violated in practice. Here two types of methods are developed. The primary is predicated on learning some extent mapping from local image/ attributes, like color, spatial position. The second method relies on globally estimating the complete depth map of a question image directly from a repository of 3D images employing a Nearest-neighbour regression type idea. It demonstrates the flexibility and therefore the computational efficiency of the methods on numerous 2D images and discusses their pitfall and benefits.

Wireless Sensor Network consists of a group of sensor nodes with a sink node as a gateway display all over an area of interest to collect information. Each node of the network is responsible for sensing and collect certain physical properties then send them to a gateway and delivered to a computer. In the present study, the information is aggregated to the gateway in a Multi-hop system to manage the energy consumption of the mobile sink node. Taking into account the mobile sink node frequent location change, the energy-harvesting model will enhance its performance to avoid data loss and network delay. In this paper, we proposed a pathfinding algorithm for sink nodes to improve the quality of data and network lifetime. Further, the proposed system is implemented to show the effectiveness in operation by network simulation, in addition to the theoretical analysis.

Genetic diversity, which shows potential of evolution of a species is an important parameter in the proper management and conservation of the species. Therefore, the preservation of the genetic variation is necessary for carrying out the species conservation and choosing and breeding different varieties of new plants which are appropriate for a variety of environment conditions. The dendrobium is one of the biggest groups in the family of the Orchidaceae consisting nearly 1500 species all around the world and it is mostly found in the equatorial and surrounding areas of Asia, Europe and Australia and the surrounding islands of Oceania. In the last few years, different types of molecular methods such as restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP), random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), simple sequence repeat (SSR), and amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) are employed to study the genetic diversity and structure of endangered plants which are within species and among species, allowing the researchers to find the reasons behind the dangers and also to find possible conservation strategies. Tissue culture, gives us a method by which we can produce a huge amount of genetically similar plants, healthy and physiologically superior quality plantlets in a short amount of time. In the production of the plants by this method, there is a very high amount of survival percentage, which is accompanied by a good quality of acclimatized plantlets, which are in great demand in commercial levels and orchid production by the process of micropropagation.

Abstract: Artemisia nilagirica is a wild perennial hardy plant belongs to Asteraceae family. It has important medicinal values to cure human sickness. In the present study, aqueous, methanol and diethyl ether extract of Artemisia nilagirica stem and root was extracted. The phytochemical screening, antioxidant, antibacterial and anticoagulant activity were determined. In phytochemical screening the stem and root of Artemisia nilagirica proved the presence of rich bioactive compounds in all the three solvent extracts. The antioxidant potential was determined using DPPH with vitamin C as standard, vitamin C estimation to determine the non enzymic antioxidant potential and reducing power assay which all gave values close to standard ascorbic acid. Antibacterial activity was performed using disc diffusion method against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia and Enterococcus faecalis in the presence of stem and root extract of all 3 solvents. It was found that diethyl ether extract of stem showed maximum activity against Enterococcus faecalis at the range of 7mm. Anticoagulant activity was conducted which exhibited that the aqueous root showed the maximum coagulation time as 30mins:10sec by prothrombin test compared to all the other samples indicating the stem and root of A.nilagirica is a potential candidate rich in phytochemicals, antioxidant, antibacterial and anticoagulant properties.
