Marketing contributes to the global environmental issues such as global warming, environmental pollution, rapid depletion of natural resources and decrease in biological diversity which is caused by consumption and overconsumption of product. Hence, there is an urgent need to promote green consumption behaviour, which would certainly help in maintaining the sustainability of environment. There is currently a challenging environment for environmentally friendly consumer products. However, promoting awareness on green product consumption does not guarantee the purchasing of green products. Present research shows that there is an increased sensitivity towards green consumption and consumers are willing to pay more for green products. But, there is also considerable evidence of a gap between value and action. Consumers are not actually buying green products they claim when polled. This discrepancy between verbal and actual commitment towards environmental behavior is thought to have attenuated the effectiveness of many environmental policy and measures. This conceptual paper provides a review of the literature regarding the value-action gap in environmental consumerism. Accordingly, this article examines the work that has been undertaken by a range of researchers from a variety of disciplines examining the links between environmental attitudes and behaviour. Previous researches have focused more on two moderators: One, the level of consumer involvement and second, the perceived consumer effectiveness under which the attitude-behavior relationship might be strengthened. This paper highlights four causal variables which play a significant role in determining the level of consumer involvement. An analysis of these causal variables will help us understanding the value-action gap.

The development of eco-friendly power generation has substantially improved with new advancement in renewable energy sources. To meet the energy requirements and to produce a clean energy source, we have opted an unconventional idea of wind turbine that has no blades. A tremendous amount of research has been done on this technology which generally consists of coil and magnet which is used to convert vibrations into electricity but it costs much higher than piezoelectric transducers. In order to eliminate the cost factor, piezoelectric transducers are used. The idea is to convert vibration caused by tapping of the wind to electrical energy by means of a piezoelectric crystal. The present study is directed to a renewable power generation system using piezoelectric transducers and Solar PV modules. The system comprises a mast of polypropylene sheet which is further connected to a disc by using a PVC rod so that the weight of the system can be reduced. Furthermore, the disc is surrounded by piezoelectric transducers whose sole function is to produce electric energy when pressure is applied. When the wind strikes the mast, the produced vibrations are carried to the disc which applies pressure on piezoelectric transducers resulting in electricity generation. The power generation system is hybrid and grid independent which can be used for various applications.

The Science, Technology and Innovation are considered to be the key drivers of the economic development of nations. Research publications and patent generation are two critical indicators for assessing the quality of scientific endeavours of a nation. There is direct relation between the economy and the patent regime of a nation. Patent is an exclusive and territorial right granted to inventor by regional or national government to a limited period of years. The amendments in the Indian Patent Act, 1970, amendments in Patent Rules, National IPR policy, Make in India and Startup India which were brought the tremendous influence on the patenting activities. The study has been undertaken to investigate the recent trends in patenting activity in India between the years 2008-2019. The study revealed that the patent grants have increased significantly in all fields due to patent reforms and IPR policies but need much more intensely it should be implemented and awareness to be created to attain the grater successes in the field of science and technology so as to consider with the Indian population and country as a whole.

The present research deals with the study of physico-chemical and bacteriological characteristics of sewage water collected from three different sites of treated pond during two consecutive seasons. Seasonal variations indicated that the most of the nutrients (viz., total N, phosphates) and salts (nitrates, chlorides and sulphates) are present abundantly at winter and the physical characters like TDS (600 mg/L) are more at summer seasons. The pH meter (Elico LI 20) and EC meter are calibrated with pH buffer(4.0, 7.0 and 9.2) and saturated KCl before taking the reading. Dissolved oxygen (DO), Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), Chemical oxygen demand (COD), Total dissolved solids (TDS), Total suspended solids (TSS),Total alkalinity (TA), Nitrates (NO3), Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Chlorides(Cl-), Sulphates (SO42-) were analyzed Multiple comparisons made using analysis of variance showed that the treated sampling pond point varies significantly from other two ponds and Raw sewage. The total coliform count for the treated samples were >2400 (MPN/100ml) in raw sewage. This study concludes that the physicochemical characters and microbiological characters are outrageous in the raw sewage and upon the treatment the undesirable characters are reduced. Studies on the sewage characteristics of treatment plants are crucial to know the pollutant levels upon the various time scales and the treatment status which is necessary to improve the state of the art of the treatment process.

With the growing challenges in authenticity and integrity of photographs, image manipulation has crumbled assurance over virtual picture. The principal motivation of the forgery in picture is manipulating the photo in this type of way that it can not be prominent to the bare eye. Image manipulation has multiplied the demand to evaluate the trustworthiness of digital photos while utilized in crime investigation, as witness of regulation and for surveillance functions. In this paper, diverse sorts of image forgery and detection techniques have been defined. Initially special kinds of forgery assaults are categorized and precis of passive approach is discusse In latest days, photos were used as evidence in courts. Photographers are capable of create composites of analog pictures, this manner could be very time consuming and calls for professional know-how. nowadays, effective digital photograph editing software program makes photo changes honest. This undermines our believe in pictures. In this project, one of the most common sorts of photographic manipulation, known as photo composition or splicing is analysed .A forgery detection method that exploits subtle inconsistencies within the shade of the illumination of pix. The proposed approach is gadget-gaining knowledge of based totally and requires minimal consumer interaction. The method is relevant to photographs containing or greater people and requires no expert interaction for the tampering choice. right here, the existing paintings may be prolonged by using the use of advanced face detection method the use of skin tone records and edges . A lighting insensitive face detection method based upon the edge and skin tone information of the input coloration image is proposed. From these illuminant estimates, we extract texture- and facet-based features which are then supplied to a system-studying technique for computerized choice-making.

: The problem of doing justice to people with physical and mental impairments is one of the major unresolved problems of social justice. The problems that are being faced by the differently-abled person have been really an issue to be looked upon. Numerous research and policy studies on disability indicate that all around the world there are approximately 15% of the worlds population has been suffering from disability of one form or the other. But on a positive note, the view of the society towards the disabled person has changed to a larger extent in these two decades. Now the disabled people are not seen as a subject of sympathy and charity but rather they are viewed as equal fellow and representative of the society and at par with the non-disabled counterparts. Such positive acceptance of the disabled persons by the society can be traced and found in the legal expression and construct of the legislature and the governmental instruments itself encouraging the social, economic and educational advancements and the way the government and private organizations taking initiatives to render equal opportunity to be in equal footing with the non-disabled counterparts is commendable. In this paper, the authors seek to study the effectiveness of the laws mandating access to public places to the disabled persons in India. The authors shall also analyze the challenges which the person with a disability still comes across in the present conditions in India and how the Accessible India Campaign is used to encourage the people with disability.

Moby Dick is an epitome of great creative genius and characterized by tremendous force, reveals the authors concern with the metaphysical enquiry. It is a monumental work of sperm-whale-fishery. The novel with its realistic account of whaling and with its preoccupation with the problem of the predominance of evil in this universe and quest of truth, has symbolic overtones. Mobi Dick is the really two stories, an astensible story that treats of material; and another story, hidden in parables, allegories, and symbolism, which treat of abstract things. Covid-19 pandemic is a hazardous to mankind and its is rapidly reaching the nook and corner of the world. Irrespective of caste, creed, national boundaries and even economic and nuclear power, it has reached to more than 193 countries. It has created an acute pullback on global supply chain, national and international trade and business affairs and the economy at large. The economy started to shrink, many became jobless, death toll is increasing and governments are struggling to find an apt solution to safeguard people from this outbreak. This research paper sketches an over view of covid-19 and its impact on economy particularly on the economy of China, US and India. They also recommend certain suggestions and recommendations to uplift the weakening economy. This research paper also highlights that the industries like tourism, hospitality, air transportation, commerce, trade, manufacturing, MSMEs are the worst affected sectors due to the outburst of covid-19. The early estimates predict that if the covid-19 becomes a global epidemic, most of the major economies will lose at least 2.4 percent of their value of gross domestic product in 2020.
