 Abstract

Wind power stations much placed in remote areas; so they are characterized by weak grids and are often submitted to power system disturbance like faults. In this proposed model , the behaviour of a wind energy conversion system that uses the structure of Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) under faulty conditions is presented. The behavior of these machines during grid failure is an important issue. DFIG consists of an asynchronous machine, in which the stator is connected directly to the grid and its rotor, is connected to the grid via two electronic power converters (back-to-back converter). In the three-phase rectifier and the inverter with IGBTs the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and SPWM technique is respectively used. DFIG is analysed and simulated under varies faulty conditions in the environment of MATLAB/SIMULINK

 Abstract

This paper presents a stand-alone doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) supplying a balanced three-phase diode rectifier. These harmonics are rejected by using the rotor current controller in the fundamental synchronous reference frame. The proposed control algorithm is based on a fuzzy logic controller and a bank of resonant filters. In this frame, each resonant filter in the rotor current controller has the possibility of rejecting one pair of the positive and the negative stator harmonic voltages at the PCC. The proposed method describes a stand-alone doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) supplying a balanced three-phase diode rectifier. These harmonics are rejected by using the rotor current controller in the fundamental synchronous reference frame. The proposed control algorithm is based on a fuzzy controller and a bank of resonant filters.

 Abstract

The present paper describes how calcium homeostasis is related with electrostrictive energy linked with pH homeostasis. The proposed model incorporates electrostrictive energy as input and bone calcium level as output. The model is also comprised of pH homeostasis, antiporter homeostasis, PTH homeostasis and calcium homeostasis. Electrostrictive energy in E. Coli plays very crucial role for homeostasis of bone calcium. As we know that bone calcium plays very important roles, which are linked with fundamental biological processes involving muscle contraction including the cardiac muscles, which can prevent myocardial infarction during heart attack. Tight regulation of the extracellular fluid (ECF) calcium concentration is maintained through the action of calcium sensitive cells. The precise control of calcium ion in extracellular fluids is of great importance for maintaining the health of individuals. The calcium homeostasis is linked with parathyroid hormone and VDR depending on the level of calcium in ECF and formation of osteoblast cells. Also the homeostasis of intracellular calcium ([Ca++]i) and pH (pHi) is important in the cell’s ability to respond to growth factors, to initiate differentiation and proliferation, and to maintain normal metabolic pathways. This model has been simulated by using MATLAB 6.5 in order to facilitate comprehensive understanding of complex electrostrictive energy phenomena concomitant with capacitance relaxation phenomena associated with cancer. It has been revealed from the model that, more is the change of electrostrictive energy more will be the reduction of formation of osteoblast cells and decreased production of bone calcium. Electrostrictive energy linked with pH homeostasis affects the formation of osteoblast cells. The osteoblast cell lineage is responsible for bone development, growth, and remodeling. Variety of hormones and growth factors regulates the development of rapidly dividing osteoprogenitor cells into highly differentiated bone-forming osteoblasts . Activation of E Coli. due to electrostrictive energy reduces formation of osteoblast cells which will affect calcium homeostasis.

 Abstract

The intratumor microenvironment is intrinsically acidic due mainly to accumulation of lactic acid as a result of increased aerobic and anaerobic glycolysis by the tumor cells. In general, the extracellular pH (pHe) in human tumors is below 7.0, whereas the intracellular pH (pHi) is maintained at neutral range, i.e., >7.0, by powerful pHi control mechanisms. The low pHe and the significant gradients between pHe and pHi affect markedly the response of tumors to various treatments such as chemotherapy, radio-therapy and hyperthermia. For instance, the acidic pHe increases the cellular uptake of weakly acidic drugs such as cyclophosphamide and cisplatin and thus increases the effect of the drugs, whereas the acidic pHe retards the uptake of weakly basic drug such as doxorubicin and vinblastine, thereby reducing the effect of the drugs. The radiation-induced apoptosis is suppressed by an acidic environment, whereas the hyperthermia-induced cell death is potentiated by an acidic environment. Better understanding of the control mechanisms of pHe and pHi in tumors may lead to device effective treatment strategy of human tumors.

 Abstract

By considering the growth of population in the present situation, there should be a high level and very effective healthcare analysis is the basic criteria. It should be the same situation at both home and hospitals. There are plenty of researches are done on human health level condition, research in data mining for health analysis is most significant in order to provide good services to the patient’s health. These researches are becoming a significant opportunity for improving the quality of health care services. In this regard, this paper presents an innovative approach for human health analysis using pH value of blood and urine samples. ¬ow a day it is difficult for the doctor to detect the hypercalcaemia condition which may lead to different cancer disease. So to analysis the patient electrolyte value the doctor come to know that the volume of the electrolytes and made the judgment whether the person is normal or not. To analyze the patient health the blood and urine reports of the patients with different conditions are gathered as input parameters. Both blood and urine values are fused together by concatenation data fusion technique to form as single data. Dimension reduction is also implemented to convert the high dimensional data samples into the low dimensional space, so that the intensive information contained in the data is protected. As the dimensionality of data gets reduced, it encourage improving the robustness of the classifier and decreases computational complexity. In this paper, reduction is carried out by Principal Component Analysis on fused data. Based on feature level and on the basis of PCA technique Feature extraction is applied to extract important features from considered data. For classification A¬¬ classifier is implemented as it provides best computational speed and accuracy. In accordance with the classification outcome overall health analysis results are estimated.

 Abstract

Dynamic remodeling of the extracellular matrix (ECM) is essential for development normal organ homeostasis. Life-threatening pathological conditions arise when ECM remodeling becomes excessive or uncontrolled. Here, we focus on how ECM remodeling contributes to cancer disease, which present challenging obstacles with respect to clinical treatment, to illustrate the importance and complexity of cell-ECM interactions in the pathogenesis of these conditions. ECM remodeling is crucial for tumor malignancy and metastatic progression, which ultimately cause over 90% of deaths from cancer. Here, we discuss current methodologies and models for understanding and quantifying the impact of environmental cues provided by the ECM on disease progression, and how improving our understanding of ECM remodeling in these pathological conditions is crucial for uncovering novel therapeutic targets and treatment strategies. This can only be achieved through the use of appropriate in vitro and in vivo models to mimic disease, and with technologies that enable accurate monitoring, imaging and quantification of the ECM.

 Abstract

Schools are obliged to provide a safe transport system for kids so they can focus on their studies. Parents are as concerned about the safety measures a school has in place as they are about the level of education they expect the school to impart on their child. One way schools can ensure protection for their students is by using a Bus GPS tracking system. A high end GPS system is installed in the school vehicle all the signals from the vehicle are routed to an integrated central server for real time monitoring Information from the server can be transmitted via message alerts and Emails, or can be checked on the web or using mobile apps. What are the features of School Bus GPS Tracking System? The parent is informed estimated arrival time of their child’s bus before it reaches the stop before/after school. Guardians can track the area of the transport progressively utilizing the application. Parents without smart phones can use the know your bus feature to receive a text message which informs them of the current location of their child’s bus. In case there is a traffic jam, natural calamity or any other problem, an text message is immediately dispatched to the parent informing the reason for delay Benefits of GPS Tracking for School Buses. The advantages of using GPS tracking systems in school buses are plenty. The most important benefit is the peace of mind it provides parents as they are continually updated of their child’s where abouts. School management will have access to detailed reports such as distance moved by each vehicle, time of arrival at each stop etc which can prove to be in valuable. The school admin can review routes to ensure that the drivers are sticking to planned routes and isn’t missing any stops. The transport manager is also informed via alerts if the drivers over speed or if the vehicle has been in an accident

 Abstract

A wireless sensor network comprises of countless spread over a particular territory where we need to take care of at the progressions going ahead there. Among all the conceivable active attacks, selective forwarding attack is the most widely recognized and destructive attack. In this work, a novel strategy has been proposed to recognize and disengage malicious nodes from the network which are in charge of triggering the attack. The proposed technique is based on the threshold technique for detection of malicious nodes. The exploratory results will demonstrate that proposed strategy detects and separate the malicious nodes from the network proficiently. It will enhance network effectiveness as far as bundle misfortune, defer and expand throughput of the network. NS2 simulator instrument will be utilized as a part of it.

 Abstract

Today firms are increasingly concerned with customers repeated service rendering. The importance of developing and maintaining enduring relationships with customers of service businesses is important. The relational benefits approach argues that categories of relationship oriented customer benefits exist, the fulfillment of which can predict the future development of existing relationships. Relationship building is one of the key aspects in maintaining a successful service business like banking. The relational benefits like social benefits, special treatment benefits and confidence benefits do influence customer satisfaction.Attention to customer opinion and understanding its beliefnot only leads to organizational performance but also causesthe customer attachments to origination. There for the customersatisfaction is the key to the achievement of the bank. A key challenge for researchers is to identify and understand how managerially controlled antecedent variables influence customer satisfaction. Relational benefits, which have a focus on the benefits consumers receive apart from the core service, represent as an approach to understanding customer satisfaction. The results provide support for the model and indicate that the concepts of confidence benefits, special treatment benefits and social benefits serve to significantly contribute to customer satisfaction in banking services.  Abstract

This study includes the five dimensions of service quality to better understand the factors underlying grocery retail sector’s customers to know assess their perceptions and intentions of service quality. Customers perceive the service quality primarily on the basis of parameters which are intangible (reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy), along with the tangible factors (Parasuraman et al., 1988). Therefore, to understand the opinion on the each of the services in terms of quality provided by Kirana store and supermarket, the questions were framed accordingly. Sampling has been conducted at the selected retail customers of both the sectors of Organized and Tradition retailing as this study is the part of my Ph.D. research work. A five point Likert Scale has been used for the collection of data. The review of literature was done to find out the research gap. The service quality of Bangalore’s Grocery retail stores has been analysed with its effects on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty through a regression analysis.

 Abstract

Democracy is a system of government where people can control political power and media constitute the backbone of democracy. Media, the forth pillar of democracy is a communication channel through which news, education, entertainment, data or promotional massages are disseminated. But even in the globalization era media is not free from the so called socialization process of the society. Like the western feminist such as Shulamith Firestone, Kate Millet, Bretty Friedan there are also various Indians feminist writers like Ritu Menon, Kamala vasin, Kiran Prasad who have criticized the role of media towards women and representing them. Media’s role towards women is becoming the growing concern of the feminist writers, basically regarding participation and representation of women. The problem is not only deal with the representation of women in media but also the women journalists who deal with the women’s problems. Being a part of so called Indian patriarchal society the male journalists dominates the whole world of media to that extent that female journalist cannot concerned about the real problems of women. These problems are concerned in every type of media including Government control media, community centered media, or commercial media.

 Abstract

The article presents a study based on the various performance metrics and compares the most frequently filtering techniques used for the purpose of removal of salt and paper type noise from SAR image. Since Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging system has certain advantages over optical satellite imaging system so it is widely used in applications like oceanography, flood mapping, resource management, agriculture, surface deformation and etc. The main concern of analyzing the SAR images is the presence of speckle in the image under study due to the interference of dephased back scattered radiations. The unwanted information corrupt the quality of SAR images and thus formulate the observation and analysis of vital information difficult which is present in the SAR image. Therefore many filtering techniques or denoising techniques have been invented to reduce or remove the amount of speckle present in the SAR images. This paper presents the study based on various spatial as well as frequency domain filters developed so far alongwith commonly used qualitative parameters like MSE, PSNR, ENL, Speckle Suppression Index and etc used to analyze the SAR imagery.

 Abstract

Abstract The paper focuses on the development of a bilayer knitted fabric and studying the effect of structure design and material type on its comfort properties. Outer layer was with modal yarn, while two different knitted structures of polyester were used for the inner layer. The comfort properties of fabric including air permeability, thermal resistance, water vapour resistance and Moisture management were determined. It was found that both the layers of fabric as a whole contribute to the comfort properties of bilayer fabric.
