Financial products act as an investment avenue and supply the specified financial security to the investors supported the risk-return profile of the financial products. In the past, traditional financial products were offered in India by banks (deposit account, credit account), life insurance Corporation (LIC), and postal department (recurring deposit, National Saving Certificate, Kisan Vikas Patra). However, in recent years with the arrival of liberalization of monetary services industry, diverse financial products are introduced like mutual funds, shares, derivatives, life and non-life insurance schemes (Unit Linked Investment Plans (ULIPs), pension plans, children education plans, etc.). Investment preference differs from person to person, as every individual behaves differently while investing. Investment behavior of a private is guided by his own set of circumstances. With an expectation of generating high returns over a period of your time and certain levels of risk, individuals invest in several financial products. The present study is an effort to research the investment preferences of salaried individuals towards financial products supported various demographic factors.

Railways give the most cost effective and most convenient mode of traveler transport each for long distance and residential district traffic. Also, most of the transport in India is being dole out by railway network. Still, accidents are the most important concern in terms of railway track crossing and unidentified crack in rail tracks in Indian railway. Most of the train accidents occur in railway tracks because of faults in tracks leading loss of precious life and loss of economy. So there is need of new technology that is strong, economical and stable for track detection in railway track. This paper aims to propose a defected rail track detection system. This project discusses a railway track crack detection using image processing and is a dynamic approach which combines the use of Wheel encoder module to send alert messages of information of location and GSM. A Raspberry Pi 4 is also used to control and coordinate the activities of these devices. This project prevents train derailment by detecting a crack in railway track using image processing technology

Abstract : Experiment were conducted to evaluate the alterations in different metabolites caused due to the sublethal concentration (Lc10) of the leaf extact of Annona squamosa and latex of Euphorbia nerrifolia exposed for 24 and 48 hours were studied in freshwater snail Lymnea acuminata. The protein and glycogen content was decreased in the foot at all exposure periods. The toxic effect of herbicides was time as well as dose dependent.

The complexity of the power system and level of integration of Wind energy into the power system has significantly increased, causing voltage instability problem across many power systems. Voltage stability is concerned with maintaining appropriate voltage profile across all the buses in the power system .Maintaining a stable and secure operation of a power system is therefore a very important and challenging issue. In this thesis the voltage stability analysis of Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG ) integrated system was analyzed using Power system Analysis Toolbox.(PSAT)The analysis of voltage stability was carried out using Bifurcation methodology. The IEEE14 bus system was re modeled by integrating DFIG at bus number 1.The Power Flow analysis was carried out using Newton Raphson method and the Voltage profile at all the buses were noted. The Eigen value analysis was carried out for the given test bus system and it was identified that there are no positive Eigen values indicating that the system possesses voltage stability and there are eight complex pair indicating that the IEEE14 bus system may cause small signal instability. The Time domain analysis was carried out to study the Small Signal stability on rotor speed and Excitation voltage and it revealed that the system shows increased level of damping there by indicating that the integration of DFIG improves Small Signal Stability.

In the present study, efficacy of Syzygium cuminii was evaluated in the laboratory against the third instar larva of Heliothis armigera (Cotton bollworm) and Spodoptera litura. (Tobacco cutworm). Toxicity of Jamun seed powder was assessed with topical application method. Extract of Syzygium cuminii used in three different doses i.e.5gm, 10gm and 15 gm. It is clearly indicated by the results that percentage of larval mortality was directly related to the dose of powder. 15 gm dose of Jamun seed powder was proved to be most effective against both pests. 15 gm dose of treatment caused 28% mortality in Heliothis armigera after 15th day of treatment. Similarly, highest larval mortality (40%) in Spodoptera litura recoded after 25th day of 15 gm dose treatment. Jamun seed found to be more effective against Spodoptera litura.

This paper presents the results of research about the performance of self-compacting concretes (SCC) using marble dust and crumb rubber as replacement of fine aggregates. Self-Compacting Concrete is a fluid concrete mixture having no segregation and bleeding. The use of SCC is spreading all over the world, but it is in the initial stage in India. SCC requires more quantity of quality compared to normal conventional concrete for self-compatibility. This paper presents a study on different types of papers for completing Self-Compacting Concrete using waste materials like marble dust and crumb rubber. Through different scientists derived that different percentage replacement in concrete can be used in industries to improve self-compacting concrete.

A SECURE FILE STORAGE IN CLOUD USING CRYPTOGRAPHY is a venture oversees documents holding the votes of understudies in a college political decision, in an encoded configuration and de-crypted for got admittance. This project involves the Principal, Departments, Users, where the Users vote for their desired Candidate. The Departments encrypt the votes in a file and transfers them to the College Principal. Principal collects, download, and decrypt the files from various departments of the College. The result of the Election is released in the R Tool by Graphical display. The point is to safely store data into the cloud by parting information into a few lumps and putting away pieces of it on the cloud in a way that jam information secretly, honesty and guarantees accessibility.

House is the dream of most of the people, and for that they are taking home loan but, in between the loan period there is a change in home loan interest rate by RBI. Whenever interest rate decreases due to economic condition of the country bank did not give proper information to their customer. This study shows how far the customer are aware of interest rate and due to unawareness what are the problems they are facing. Convenience sampling technique is used and descriptive method is used and the population size is 140 home loan customers from different banks with various age groups, occupational classes, different banks in Chennai city. Percentage analysis, correlation test and ANOVA test was performed using SPSS and the result is useful to determine customer awareness on home loan interest rate.

Abstract: Hymenocallis littoralis (Jacq.) salisb flower is belongs to Amaryllidaceae family. It is commonly referred as Beach spider lily. It is an ornamental and medicinal plant. Beach spider lily cut flower is use for post-harvest shelf life. For present study Tap water, Distil water, Sucrose, Citric acid, Potassium sulphate and leaf extract are used to improve the longevity of Hymenocallis littoralis (Jacq.) salisb cut flower. Sucrose prolong the vast life of cut flowers. Potassium sulfate provide excellently for dressing indoor flowers. Best result 5days obtain with Sucrose compare to control tap water and distil water. Treatment of Lantana camara leaf extract get best result compare to control tap water.

Handloom industry is one of the oldest traditional industries, which is the livelihood for millions of rural artisans in our country. Handloom products are well known for their quality, affordability, durability, availability and artistic work. From the past few years, the handloom industry is facing severe problems like customers preferring other machine-made fabrics over traditional handloom products; tough competition from power looms and other factory produced fabrics. Though the government has taken some major initiatives to support this handloom manufacturing process and introduced schemes for handloom weavers, yet this has not been sufficient to revive their fortunes. The objectives of the study were to assess the awareness of the handloom weavers in Betgeri of Gadag District regarding various aids given by the government, and to find out their satisfaction on utilization of the government aids. Sample size was 100 handloom weavers from Betgeri of Gadag District of Karnataka. Purposive random technique was used to select the samples while data was collected using a structured interview schedule. Salient findings revealed that most of the respondents were aware of the government aids available to them, and they availed the government schemes so that they could keep aside the money they earned by weaving for future emergencies. Most of the respondents (37%) felt that the Weavers Family Pension Scheme by the government was useful.
