 Abstract

Insulin is a small globular protein hormone that consists of two polypeptide chains, A and B, that are connected by two disulfide bonds. The A chain is composed of 21 amino acids, while the B chain is composed of 30 amino acids. The two chains are held together by a third disulfide bond between the A7 cysteine residue and the B7 cysteine residue. The tertiary structure of insulin is stabilized by a network of hydrogen bonds, salt bridges, and hydrophobic interactions between the amino acid residues. The hormone also contains a hydrophobic core that is responsible for its stability and solubility. The insulin molecule adopts a compact conformation that allows it to fit into its receptor on the cell surface. Alterations in the structure of insulin, such as mutations or chemical modifications, can affect its biological activity and lead to insulin resistance or other metabolic disorders.

 Abstract

Video conferencing applications facilitate real-time audio and video communication between multiple users located in different geographical locations. These applications have become increasingly popular for various purposes, including remote work, online education, virtual events, and social interactions. The web-based meeting scheduler project aims to streamline the process of scheduling meetings and appointments for individuals and organizations. With the increasing reliance on virtual meetings and remote collaboration, an efficient and user-friendly scheduling tool is essential to optimize time management and enhance productivity. To ensure the privacy of meetings, we have included advanced cryptography technique in sharing, i.e., visual cryptography. The application prompts for a secret image or text to be given by the meeting scheduler, then it divides the secret key into various partitions, encrypts them, and then, shares them to the participants. Every time, the application gets keys from each participant, upon combining those keys, the application will check for authenticity of participants. Upon verification, the application will allow the participants to join the meeting. In this way, the application ensures the privacy and integrity of users, information, and platform.

 Abstract

Dark web monitoring is a crucial aspect of cybersecurity and law enforcement, focusing on the surveillance and analysis of activities within the dark web, a hidden network accessible only through specialized software like Tor. This hidden network provides a haven for various illegal pursuits, including cybercrime, drug trafficking, and illicit trade. Detection, filtering, and analysis of illegal activities are essential components of dark web monitoring. Advanced technologies and methodologies, including machine learning algorithms, facilitate the identification and categorization of illicit content and behaviours across forums, marketplaces, and communication channels. Cybercriminals make full use of the hidden network called as Dark Web and they are hidden from the normal search engines which are publicly facing, to sell a variety of illicit products and services. A highly automated modular system called D-Monitor is described to help with the gathering and analysis of massive volumes of unstructured data. The system relies on a Python module named OnionSearch to collect URLs based on keywords we already define in our tool. and search through various search engines like Ahmia, tor66, and torgle. These keywords are not limited to already defined keywords, but more number of keywords can be added if required and expand our scope of data collection. The dark web's anonymity services safeguard user information protection, but they also provide the ideal setting for illicit and criminal operations including drug and gun trafficking, people trafficking, and illicit information transfers. A Python dark web monitoring crawler which is built by utilizing the tor network was created to gather and store a huge number of dark web site URLs in order to gain more information about the websites by searching using keyword parameter and find suspicious information and track criminals utilising the dark web to carry out illicit operations. The tool takes screenshots using the tbselenium module and displays them on the frontend, preserving anonymity and avoiding the need to rely on the Tor browser User Interface.

 Abstract

This research work examine production planning and control as a tool for minimizing defective products through effective production planning and control in R.R LATEX gloves manufacturing company. Hence the scope of the research cover every activity which has to do with production planning and control. The work covers statement of the general problems, research objectives, scope of the study, significance of the study and limitation of the study. Also diverse view of authors on production planning and control and other related areas in review. The research work employs the descriptive method for the purpose of an in-depth investigation. A sample size of 100 respondents was selected from the total population of 180 staff, questionnaire were administered to them, oral and verbal interview as well as obtaining information. Hypothesis H0 and H1 formulated on using effective production planning and control to minimize defective product in production performance. Date collected were presented and daily analysed in tabular format using percentages, other findings of the studying centered on the required raw materials used by the organization but sourced outside the country, government policies such as hinge tax payments, customers and excise charges contributes to high production cost with locally sourced raw materials not maintaining a stable price from time to time with future plans having limitation due to some government regulations, economic downs turn, environmental factors technological changes, competitors actions. The study also brought to the fore the importance of production planning and control in the role of forecasting in production and operation management. Finally based on the findings a number of quality recommendation were offered to the organization to embrace in raw materials sourcing using alternative means i.e. research and development department, the complete computerization of the control system and other key system should be pursued effectively.

 Abstract

Transdermal drug delivery was presented to overcome the difficulties of drug delivery especially oral route. Drug delivery through the skin a drug to achieve a systemic of drug is known as transdermal patches. Transdermal patches are widely used as cosmetic, topical, transdermal drug delivery system. Transdermal patch is medicated adhesive patch that is placed on the Skin to deliver a specific dose of medication through the skin and into the bloodstream. Topical administration of therapeutic agent's offers many advantages over conventional oral and invasive methods of drug delivery. Several important advantages of transdermal drug delivery are limitation of hepatic first pass metabolism, enhancement of therapeutic efficiency and maintenance of steady plasma level of drug. The basic components of transdermal patch consists of polymer matrixdrug reservoir, active ingredient (Drug), permeation enhancer, pressure sensitive adhesive, backing laminates, release liner, other excipients like plasticizer and solvent. There are many methods of preparation of transdermal patches like circular Teflon mould method, assymetric tpx membrane method, mercury substrate methods, IPM membrane methods, EVAC membrane method, free film method. Cellulose derivative, zein, gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene this are the polymers used in the preparation of transdermal patches. Also there are many evaluation parameter of transdermal patches like thickness, uniformity of weight, drug content determination, moisture content, moisture uptake, flatness, microscopic studies, adhesive studies, peel adhesion, tack properties, quick steel (peel tack method) test . This review article provides an overview of transdermal drug delivery system, its advantages over conventional dosage forms, drug delivery routes across human skin, permeation enhancer, and various preparation methods.

 Abstract

Social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook serve as rich sources of user-generated content, offering valuable insights into public sentiment. This paper presents a novel approach to sentiment analysis using OpenAI's GPT-3.5-turbo model integrated with Python and Flask. Our model provides two key functionalities: predicting sentiment for individual social media posts and analyzing the overall sentiment of CSV files containing reviews. Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, our system efficiently processes large datasets while generating accurate sentiment predictions. Additionally, we employ JavaScript libraries to visualize sentiment distributions, enhancing data interpretation. Through this research, we contribute a comprehensive framework for real-time sentiment analysis, empowering users with actionable insights into social media discourse.
