Background: Kinetic chain exercises have been used in the management of the patients with knee osteoarthritis but whether these exercises has any impact on the articular cartilage of knee is yet to be investigated. Material & Method: 60 subjects in the age range of 40-70 years and satisfying the inclusion and exclusion criteria were made part of study and were divided into two groups of 30 subjects each. Group A received open kinetic chain and group B received closed kinetic chain exercises. Baseline readings were noted down of pain, ROM of flexion and cartilage health parameters of clarity, interface and thickness using sonography. Exercise protocol was given for 3 times per week for 12 weeks. Results: The cartilage clarity and interface was presented as frequency distribution of subjects in different grades. The findings of paired t-test showed that there was statistically significant improvement in pain, quality of life and cartilage thickness at sulcus aspect of left knee in group A and sulcus aspect of both knees of group B. The findings of unpaired t-test suggested significant difference in pain and statistically non-significant difference of all other parameters between the two groups. Conclusion: The findings were suggestive that both open and closed kinetic chain exercises brought improvement in clinical symptoms but none of the exercise regime was effective in improving the health of cartilage health.

CPU scheduling has vital effect on the resources, their utilization and overall performance of the systems. Round Robin (RR) scheduling algorithm is widely used in multitasking. Choosing the time quantum in RR algorithm is very crucial as a small time slice results in large number of context switches and large time quantum increases the response time and makes it more similar to First Come First Serve (FCFS) scheduling algorithm. A CPU scheduling processor is said to be optimally if it has a higher throughput, low waiting time, lower turnaround time and less number of context switches for the processes coming for execution. The main objective of this paper is to improve the working of round robin scheduling by dynamic time quantum adjustment along with the integrated priority scheduling algorithm. The time quantum is decided based on the number of process. If the number of process is less than or equal to 3 then normal FCFS approach along with priority, else time quantum will be number of process divided by 2. The ready queue has the processes in order of priority. The process that arrives first will have to priority as 1 by default. The scheduler will run same as round robin until the remaining burst time is less than or equal to the actual time quantum. In such case the process is allowed for full execution. The proposed algorithm produces better average turnaround time, average waiting time and fewer number of context switches than existing algorithms which is shown by the experimental analysis.

Numerous past studies in Rice cultivation in India is criticized for using Johansson Co-integration test. Adjustment vector and also for analytical interpretation through Ordinary Least Squares creating spurious results for time series data the present paper estimates the modern techniques of co-integration with vector error correction model (VECM) restricts the long-run behaviour of the endogenous variables to converge their co-integrating relationships while allowing a wide range of short-run dynamics. In this article, attempts to predict the rice production and investigated the relationship among some other agriculture commodities like Wheat, cereals and pulse using Johansson co-integration test. In our result, the model fitted the data well and the stochastic seasonal variation was successfully model.Vector error correction model (VECM) was a proper method for modelling and forecasting the time series of yearly rice production data.

In the world, Breast canceris the main leading cause in the woman.Early diagnosis of the diseases and timely medical examination is the key factor to long term survival and life quality for patients. The screening of presence breast cancer, of ambiguous margins of lesions and visual fatigue causes radiologists to miss roughly 10-30% of tumour in breast cancer. For this reason, Computer aided diagnosis systems (CADe) have been proposed to classify the density of mammograms, having as a major challenge to define the features that better represent the images to be classified. In this paper, we show the results of feature classification over the MIAS and DDSM datasets. We compare our method with recent approaches that classified these same datasets and the results prove that our system achieves satisfactory detection performance.

EDM is an unconventional electro thermal machining process used for manufacturing geometrically complex or hard material parts that are extremely difficult-to-machine by conventional machining process. The process involves a controlled erosion of electrically conductive materials by the initiation of rapid and repetitive spark discharges between the tool and work piece separated by a small gap of about 0.01mm to 0.50mm. This gap is either flooded or immersed in a dielectric fluid. The controlled pulsing of direct current between the tool and the work piece produces the spark discharge. This paper reviews the vast array of research work carried out within past decades for the development of EDM. This study is mainly focused on surface quality and metal removal rate which are the most important parameters from the point of view of selecting the relevant process parameters as well as different heat treatment process. This process will be established for the Better tool life and Better Surface finish.

Concrete has a large load bearing capacity for compression load, but the material is weak in tension. That is why steel reinforcement bars are embedded in the material to be able to build structures. The steel bars take over the load when the concrete cracks in tension. That Cracks in concrete leads to the seepage of salts and water causing damage to the structure. So there is a need to use microbial material which self heals the cracks present in the concrete. In the present study, hay bacillus was used as a microbial material for the preparation of bacterial concrete. Normal concrete was prepared for comparison with bacterial concrete. Rice husk ash (RHA) and Quarry dust (QD) are used as a partial replacement of cement and fine aggregate in both normal concrete and bacterial concrete. Cement was partially replaced with 5%, 10%, 15% RHA and fine aggregate was replaced with 45% QD. Hay bacillus was added in the amount of 105cells/ml during the mixing of bacterial concrete. Hay bacillus releases calcium precipitate which combines with carbonates present in the concrete and forms calcium carbonate which fills up the internal voids present in the concrete. Tests were performed to determine the compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength for 3, 7 and 28 days. It is observed that bacterial concrete shows higher strength compared to normal concrete due to internal filling of voids by calcium carbonate. Concrete with RHA and QD shows little less strength than the normal concrete due to its less workability.

Cloud computing has become an advanced platform for personal computing. Cloud computing will provide high performance computing resources and makes it possible to store and port large amounts of data across computers, servers and within IT environment. In computing, data deduplication is a special data compression technique for removing duplicate copies of repeated data without compromising its uniqueness. A multi-user cloud storage system needs the secure cross-user client-side Deduplication process, which allows a user to skip the upload process and get the rights of the document immediately, when other owners of the same document who tries to upload the document to the cloud. To the best of knowledge, existing dynamic PoS cannot support this technique. In this paper, introduced the theory of Deduplicatable dynamic proof of storage and proposed an effective system called DeyPoS, to accomplish dynamic PoS and secure cross-user Deduplication, synchronously. Considering the problems of structure diversity and private tag generation, and make full use of a structure called Homomorphic Authenticated Tree (HAT). Furthermore, we extend the system by adding the concept of Certificate Authority for secure authentication.

Lightweight cement can be characterized as a kind of solid which incorporates an Expanding specialist in it that builds the volume of the blend while lessening the dead weight. It is lighter than the traditional concrete with a dry thickness of 300 kg/m3 up to 1840 kg/m3. The fundamental strengths of lightweight concrete are its low thickness and low warm conductivity. Lightweight concrete (LWC), with its decreased weight and enhanced sturdiness, empowers longer traverses, less wharfs, and life span for connect structures. The utilization of basic level light weight concrete diminishes the self-weight and develops bigger precast units. In this investigation, an endeavor has been made to think about the Mechanical Properties of an auxiliary review light weight concrete M25 utilizing the light weight total pumice stone as an incomplete substitution to coarse total and mineral admixture materials like Fly Ash and Silica Fume. For this reason, alongside a Control Mix, 12 sets were set up to examine the compressive quality, rigidity and flexural quality. Each set includes 4 solid shapes, 2 chambers and 2 crystals. Droop test were done for each blend in the crisp state. 28-days Compressive Strength, Tensile Strength and Flexural Strength tests were performed in the solidified state. The investigation is additionally can be stretched out for mixing of concrete with various sorts of mineral admixtures. It is watched that there is impediment in Compressive quality, split elasticity, Flexural quality and Young's modulus for the light weight total supplanted solid when contrasted with the solid made with ordinary total. For these light weight total, concrete blends when "concrete" was supplanted by 'fly fiery remains' it is seen that there is a negligible change in the properties considered. For 25% supplanted light weight total when concrete was supplanted by 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%fly fiery debris, the most extreme pick up in compressive quality of 32.8% at 28 days is watched for 20% substitution of fly powder. Essentially, the pickup in split rigidity, flexural quality and Young's modulus of Elasticity are 20%, 11.3% and 41.9% is seen at 20% substitution of fly powder individually.

A high step-up dc to dc converter for a distributed generation system is planned in this paper. The idea is made out of 2 capacitors, 2 diodes, and 1 coupled inductor. 2 capacitors are charged in parallel, and are released in arrangement by the coupled inductor. Hence, high step-up voltage gain can be accomplished with a suitable obligation proportion. The voltage weights on the principle switch and yield diode are lessened by an uninvolved clasp circuit. In this way, low protection RDS (ON) for the primary switch can be embraced to diminish conduction misfortune. What's more, the switch recuperation issue of the diode is reduced. The working standard and enduring state investigation of the voltage gain are additionally examined in detail. At last, a MATLAB/Simulink based model is created with 24v information voltage to acquire 400v yield voltage and 400w yield control from the proposed converter is recreated in this task.
