Abstract Covid-19 has brought a renewed emphasis on health and sanitation, as well as, in unexpected ways, the need for productive employment opportunities in rural India. MGNREGA, the rural employment guarantee programme, has a mixed record of success in terms of providing adequate employment to those in need, the quality of asset creation, and the adequacy of wages offered. A good financial accounting system is the most important requirement to operate a business effectively. When a new accounting standard adopt by a country for its own domestic companies for reporting their financial statement, it may be impact on the quantitative as well as qualitative attributes of financial statements. Every country stipulates a method for companies to report financial data based on rules called accounting standards. India has so far followed Indian Generally Acceptable Accounting Principle (IGAAP). But, on 16th February 2015, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs notified a set of rules called Companies ( Indian Accounting Standards) Rules 2015 w.e.f. 1st April 2015 introducing the Ind AS as a step towards convergence with IFRS for removal of difficulties and for ease of adoptability. This paper deals to know the impact of IND AS on various sectors.

Multilevel inverter is usually utilized in high voltage and high-power applications because of their lower filtering requirement smaller dv/dt changes medium voltage. But, as the output voltage level increase, the number of using the semiconductor device is increased. The demerit of conventional MLIs is that it requires a greater number of components which in turn increase the complexity of gate pulse generation. Therefore, the cost of MLI will increase. Conventional MLI topologies are classified into DCMLI (Diode Clamped Multilevel Inverter), Flying Capacitor, Cascaded h-bridge MLI (CHBMLI). In this paper we have used hybrid cascaded h-bridge MLI. It has more advantages over other topologies. It is proposed with a minimum number of switching devices like diodes, dc source etc. cost and space required is considerably reduced with increase in no of steps in output voltage. This paper includes the design and simulation of hybrid Cascaded h-bridge multi-level inverter using POD SPWM technique with R and RL load as shown in the paper

A sustainable building is designed to reduce its energy footprint and carbon emission. The thermal performance, solar access and ventilation of a building not only depend upon the ecological microclimate of the building but also on the behaviour of immediate site surrounding conditions. There are different parameters of sustainable performance which are affected by the boundary condition differently. This study tries to establish the need to study the immediate site surrounding in detail before starting the designing process and not just rely on climatic/microclimatic data of the site. Since the site surrounding conditions cannot be controlled, the building should be designed keeping in mind possible variations around the site and their ultimate effect on building performance. In this study, the performance parameters of the building will be evaluated concerning the boundary condition with the help of a literature study and CFD simulation of the case study. This study also reviews the existing methods and techniques to predict thermal behaviour, solar access and wind movement on a site neighbourhood-scale which will be helpful for calculating the performance parameters of the building.

ABSTRACT The importance of transportation for the prosperity of any country cannot be overem-phasized.Transportation needs commensurate with infrastructural development demand shortest routes to cover distances. Bridge structures are the only solutions for such problems.Bridges are essential and vital elements of any road network. Now a days various Bridge construction works are going on all around the world as well as in our state. The vast majority of these bridges are of small or medium spans, where the slab or the beam and slab type of superstructure are the most suitable and preferred solution. It is observed that, In this slab type of bridges mostly 3 no.of Elastomeric bearings are provided to transfer the load from superstructure to sub structure. This only 3 no.of bearings transferring the whole load to substructure and foundation attracted my attention. So I decided to work on the Elastomeric bearings, the no .of bearings provided and its effects on the other structure of the project. Bearings are structural equipment or devices installed between bridge substructure and superstructure to transfer the applied load including earthquake loads; wind loads; traffic loads; and superstructure self-weight. Elastomeric bearings consists of elastomer manufactured from synthetic or natural rubber and can take both translation and rotation movements through elastomer deformation. The ability of elastomer to carry large vertical loads is because of reinforcement. In this project we consider Solid slab type of bridge superstructure of 10m to 15 m span length with open foundation. For each span length of superstructures we designed particular Elastomeric Bearings. For analysis firstly we provide 3 number of bearings and observed its effect on substructure and foundation by designing the substructure. After that we increased the number of bearings and provided 4 number of bearings .Observed the effect on substructure and foundation and found that the pier cap effects the most. We compared both the observations and concluded the result.

We report the observation of a 46-year-old man admitted to the emergency room for a sudden bilateral decrease in visual acuity limited to light perception with an ophthalmological examination and in particular of the normal fundus. Visual evoked potentials showed a lengthening of latencies, consistent with bilateral retrobulbar optic neuritis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed spinal cord and periventricular signal abnormalities in favor of Devic's neuromyelitis optica. The patient received a bolus of methylprednisolone for 5 days, followed by immunosuppressive treatment: antiCD20. The evolution was favorable with correction of visual acuity in both eyes

A subframe is a part of a car's structure, which uses a different frame, which varies within a larger body frame or body body to carry certain parts, such as an engine, steering train and / or suspension. The subframe is bolted and even welded to form a single assembly, attached to a car frame or cabinet structure. The main objectives of using the subframe, are to distribute the upper chassis loads over a wide area of the thin metal sheet of the body shell, and to distinguish vibrations and sharpness throughout the body. The weighted subframe design has many split benefits. As, it carries the engine load, suspension and steering parts of the car, it should be designed to be lightweight, but without interfering with power.

The awareness of good lifestyle is increasing among people these days. People tend to follow various diets and exercises. But consulting a dietician is something that everyone cannot afford. Also, consulting a dietician could be time-consuming. This research proposes an expert system method to recommend a personalized diet plan. The system consists of a recommender module that uses machine algorithms to recommend personalized diet plans based on factors such as age, gender, height, weight, allergies, and personal preferences. It first calculates the BMI and the BMR, recommends a diet plan and if the user is not satisfied with the current diet plan, it generates an alternative diet plan.

This research paper studies the alienation caused by the culture of narcotics in the metropolitans of India, specifically Mumbai, through textual analysis and close reading of Jeet Thayil's Narcopolis. My research establishes a direct link between drug use and alienation. Alienation of man is also a result of repeated drug consumption as well as an alienated being consuming narcotics in the first place to understand life. The ready availability in metros as well as the culture of drugs also promoted consumption. Opium City by Amar Farooqui traces the history of Bombay through colonial times via opium trade. Thus, Bombay was built on narcotics trade and it is very natural for it to become a heavy consumer of the same. Thomas de Quincey's Confessions of an English Opium Eater started the culture of Addiction Literature in English. Samuel Taylor Coleridge, pioneer of the Romanticism in English Literature regularly used Opium as a prescription medicine but developed a regular need which influenced his finest works due to the dreams induced by the drug. Elizabeth Barrett Browning used laudanum for relieving pain but was hooked to it. Stephen King was addicted to alcohol and narcotics. The Beat Generation romanticized drug use for intellectual interest and enhancement of creativity. William S. Burroughs, primary figure of Beat Generation, wrote most of his work under the influence or from his experience as a heroin addict. Narcotics are used for helping spark creativity and exploring the untouched corners and crevices of the brain. They have always been a part of the world of writing either as a prescription or recreation. Amitav Ghosh's Ibis Trilogy gives a vivid account of opium plantations in India and the massive money it generated in world trade for the East India Company as well as traders across the world. The focus of this project is the influence of narcotics culture in the Indian setting primarily through Narcopolis by Jeet Thayil set in Bombay of the 70s and 80s and tripping on heroin. How Bombay became a hub for intoxication starting with the trade in opium from the times of the British and its present availability on every khokha in India for mere 1 rupee.

Fire is one of the hazardous, unwanted and sometimes uncontrolled events. Urban fires generally occur because of short-circuits in electrical devices, leakage on LPG gas cylinder ducts, or due to human ignorance itself. But at present, the system that is generally used in the community is a smoke sensor that is affixed to the ceiling of the room to detect a fireplace. Apart from the matter of early fire detection, present fire alarm systems are inefficient in terms of the false triggering of the alarm systems. Traditional Fire detection methods that is. Sensor-based and Color Based Flame detection have high false rate and low accuracy. Real-time Fire detection using Convolution Neural Network will overcome many problems in traditional fire identification. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is an algorithm which classifies images with a high degree of accuracy and good performance. The proposed system will be using the Convolution Neural Network, YOLO v3 (You Only Look Once Version 3) algorithm, OpenCv, Keras deep learning library.

Heavy metal contamination in fresh water bodies is of great concern due to their toxicity, perseverance and bioaccumulation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate behavioural responses induced by Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg) and its Synergistic effect (Pb+Hg) in the ornamental fish Carassuis auratus. Fishes were exposed to 1/10th of LC50 concentrations for 7,14,21 and 45 days along with a recovery set. The major behavioural responses observed in fish after exposure were restlessness, jumping, erratic swimming, gulping of air at the surface, loss of equilibrium, sluggishness, altered opercular movements and frequent surfacing were observed. After a longer period of exposure, the fish became sluggish and occasionally became motionless and sometimes swam vertically. Mercury was found to be more toxic compared to Lead and Synergistic regimens.
