Finite element method (FEM) is a numerical method for solving a differential or integral equation. It has been applied to a number of physical problems, where the governing differential equations are available. The method essentially consists of assuming the piecewise continuous function for the solution and obtaining the parameters of the functions in a manner that reduces the error in the solution. In this article, a brief introduction to finite element method is provided .The aim of the present paper is to study and calculate the stresses in knuckle joint using steady state analysis for different material and the knuckle joint is analysed for structural steel , aluminium alloy. The knuckle joint is proposed to develop in the present study is for an applied force of 150 KN. also find out natural frequency of frame type machine foundation using modal analysis in ANSYS.

The problem that policy makers face in kerala now a days is to effectively and efficiently balance the twin themes of economic development and at the same time minimising the damage to the environment. Kerala, known for its paradoxical social development not matched to economic development, have extensive environmental awareness .along with this they possess societal and environment responsibility .but Kerala today faces problems such as air pollution, severe traffic noise, non-availability of pure water, limitations in garbage disposal etc. So the keralite want to solve these problems seriously as they affect their well-being. This green awakening force then to avail the green products. Thus the prominence of green products assumes significance in this context. This paper tries to analyse the factors which impede the demand for environment friendly products by the population of Kerala

Without communication, we cannot imagine this world. As technology has been growing with a good pace, a lot of devices and mechanism has been developed for better ease to initiate conversation. What a user wants from a conversation application is that he or she can easily grasp the meaning of another user what he or she want to say. Stepping ahead in this era, an application we going to create with the help of Java and Firebase. Java is an object-oriented, class-based programming language. To reduce the dependencies, it is designed. The main feature of this language is that it has to write one time and the same can be run anywhere anytime. [1]. What a developer wants in his/her application, should be easily developable, and its database should be easily available. Firebase does that job by providing a real-time database[2]. If we talk about who provide better platform, Android stood up in first place amongst other platforms. How we can reduce the gap between users in form of communication is the major aim of this paper. The main idea about this is that the user should be able to communicate with another user With the help of text messages however the same will be working through internet. This application demands allow us to work on Java and Firebase and will solely base on Android.

Handwriting requires the concerted effort of the brain, muscles, and nerves. Natural variations are the essential characteristics of a person's handwriting because the human brain is not a computer; it cannot reproduce the same thing repeatedly in the same fashion. It always imposes a challenge for document experts to distinguish between intra and inter writer variations in handwriting. The expert is always questioned whether the variations in an individual's handwriting are occurring naturally or deliberately. This study has been undertaken to investigate the range of variations occurring in the handwritings of individuals under different writing conditions and the possibility of determining the authorship of the writer under such circumstances.

One of the main issue faced by industries and domestic premises is accident due to gas leakage. Some of the harmful gases like propane, LPG, Ammonia, methane is highly combustible and the chance of dangerous explosion is more if confined in a closed space. In the present study the system can detect and notify hazardous gas present in hazardous and non- hazardous area. The system uses gas sensors such as MQ2, MQ3, etc. The information of gas detection is send to the Arduino which act as the controller to analyze the presence of gas. This controller triggers the buzzer and LED is used for visual communication of danger. The buzzer gets activated when controller detects gas in the dangerous level. The system can detect Propane, CNG, LPG, methane etc. This system is user friendly, compact and economical which can be used in houses as well as in industries.

Smart phone, computer and television were introduced as communication devices although with the development of technology thee devices have become multi purposed. In the present world due to the affordable price and trend of the society it is easily accessible to teenage students. Thus, it has become a frequently used device among teenage students for various purposes such as communication, knowledge, video, gaming, music etc. this has created a common problem in the present society as students spend too much time on these devices and adults fear that it would affect their studies negatively. This research was conducted in order to find any relationship between these devices and academic performance. Data was collected through distributing a questionnaire among students of grade 10 and 11. Academic performance was evaluated by the results of the students at the previous term test held by the school. Data was analyzed using computer software. More than half of the population used some of these devices for more than two hours per day. But when comparing with the results of their previous term test it did not show any negative effect on their academic performance as almost half of the population had obtained an average result of more than 50% at the examination. Also, most of the students used these devices for the purpose of entertainment and not for education. Most of the students did not think that these devices have any negative effect on them. They think that the school and their teachers should make more effort to help the students. Thus, this survey study implies that there is no clear evidence to confirm that electronic devices have any negative effect on the academic performance of teenage students.

Abstract: A VANET is an important, reliable and efficient wireless technology seeking to enhance the quality of traffic safety as well as offer comfort to allow citizens. Even so, the rapid development of vehicles and repeated dynamic topology present a severe obstacle to the fast transmission of sensor networks. Clustering is among the control methods utilize in VANET to reduce the dynamics of repeated topology changes. However, study clearly shows that most of the traditional scheduling approaches focus on CH selection, with very several acknowledging other crucial problems like cluster creation and stabilization. In the current work, the designer took the same view as moving vehicles over the clear highway situation. This spurred to unpredictable clusters that could have an impact on the quick completion of security apps. The objective of this paper is to describe specific branch lanes across straightway in the system model of the base paper to enhance organizational clustering by utilizing the GSA in V2V (VANETs) to make organization efficient, reliable and more extensible. The computation outcomes of the suggested technique showed better performance with a rise in cluster stability contrasted to current approaches.

This review examines the current state of expertise and experience in the field of modified bitumen. The data for this thesis came from a comprehensive analysis of the most recent articles in the literature on updated bituminous materials, processes, and advancements. The paper is divided into two main parts for this reason. The bitumen itself is studied change in physical and chemical properties in terms of modified and unmodified bitumens in the first section. The paper's second section is on bitumen field investigation and standard deviation in some properties of modified and unmodified bitumen. In conclusion, the findings of this analysis have shown the significance of bitumen properties before and after modification. Although some polymers and binders can enhance one or more aspects of unmodified bitumen properties, they can also cause consistency issues when it comes to storage and temperature. In this regard, several experiments have shown the effectiveness of polymers in enhancing bitumen compatibility as well as several advantages related to binder mix into bitumen.
