Smart phone, computer and television were introduced as communication devices although with the development of technology thee devices have become multi purposed. In the present world due to the affordable price and trend of the society it is easily accessible to teenage students. Thus, it has become a frequently used device among teenage students for various purposes such as communication, knowledge, video, gaming, music etc. this has created a common problem in the present society as students spend too much time on these devices and adults fear that it would affect their studies negatively. This research was conducted in order to find any relationship between these devices and academic performance. Data was collected through distributing a questionnaire among students of grade 10 and 11. Academic performance was evaluated by the results of the students at the previous term test held by the school. Data was analyzed using computer software. More than half of the population used some of these devices for more than two hours per day. But when comparing with the results of their previous term test it did not show any negative effect on their academic performance as almost half of the population had obtained an average result of more than 50% at the examination. Also, most of the students used these devices for the purpose of entertainment and not for education. Most of the students did not think that these devices have any negative effect on them. They think that the school and their teachers should make more effort to help the students. Thus, this survey study implies that there is no clear evidence to confirm that electronic devices have any negative effect on the academic performance of teenage students.

The purpose of the present paper is to explore various reasons of merger of ICICI and Bank of Rajasthan. This includes various aspects of bank mergers. It also compares pre and post-merger financial performance of merged banks with the help of financial parameters like, Return on Assets, Net Profit margin, Net worth, Ratio. This performance is being tested on the basis of two grounds i.e., Pre-merger and Post- merger. Finally, the study indicates that the banks have been positively affected by the event of merger.

Abstract: A VANET is an important, reliable and efficient wireless technology seeking to enhance the quality of traffic safety as well as offer comfort to allow citizens. Even so, the rapid development of vehicles and repeated dynamic topology present a severe obstacle to the fast transmission of sensor networks. Clustering is among the control methods utilize in VANET to reduce the dynamics of repeated topology changes. However, study clearly shows that most of the traditional scheduling approaches focus on CH selection, with very several acknowledging other crucial problems like cluster creation and stabilization. In the current work, the designer took the same view as moving vehicles over the clear highway situation. This spurred to unpredictable clusters that could have an impact on the quick completion of security apps. The objective of this paper is to describe specific branch lanes across straightway in the system model of the base paper to enhance organizational clustering by utilizing the GSA in V2V (VANETs) to make organization efficient, reliable and more extensible. The computation outcomes of the suggested technique showed better performance with a rise in cluster stability contrasted to current approaches.

This review examines the current state of expertise and experience in the field of modified bitumen. The data for this thesis came from a comprehensive analysis of the most recent articles in the literature on updated bituminous materials, processes, and advancements. The paper is divided into two main parts for this reason. The bitumen itself is studied change in physical and chemical properties in terms of modified and unmodified bitumens in the first section. The paper's second section is on bitumen field investigation and standard deviation in some properties of modified and unmodified bitumen. In conclusion, the findings of this analysis have shown the significance of bitumen properties before and after modification. Although some polymers and binders can enhance one or more aspects of unmodified bitumen properties, they can also cause consistency issues when it comes to storage and temperature. In this regard, several experiments have shown the effectiveness of polymers in enhancing bitumen compatibility as well as several advantages related to binder mix into bitumen.

Health is no doubt an important need of human life. It is indeed essential to have a good health to lead a peaceful and bliss life. However, public health in India has always been a matter of great debate and discussion. The present study is a sincere attempt to analyze the important public health programs and policies introduced by the government and its real implications to rural masses in the country. The entire study is made on the basis of case study conducted in two tea gardens of Darjeeling Hills. The primary objective of this paper is to find out the exact condition of public health in rural tea garden areas of Darjeeling Hills. Stratified random sampling with structured open-ended questionnaire has been employed to conduct the survey for the study. The study also suggested to bridge the gap between policy formulation, policy execution and policy application in regard to public health in India.

Hydropower isn't only a renewable and sustainable energy source, but its flexibility and storage capacity also make it possible to enhance grid stability and to support the deployment of other intermittent renewable energy sources like wind and solar energy. As a result, renewed interests in micro hydro energy storage plants (MHES) and an enormous demand for the rehabilitation of old small hydropower plants are emerging globally. As regards MHES, advances in turbine design are required to extend plant performance and adaptability and new strategies for optimizing storage capacity and for maximizing plant profitability within the regulated energy market need to be developed. In small hydropower systems, Pumps as Turbines (PaT) represent a cheap alternative to plain turbines are often predicted before their installation. This paper traces a summary of the micro pumped-hydro energy storage within the light of sustainable development. A design procedure is carried to seek out the quantity of reservoir required, selection criteria for turbo machinery needed for the project. During this paper the potential and feasibility of Pump as Turbine (PAT) is discussed .An design procedure is administered for calculating the simplest Efficiency Points (BEP) is administered. A model design is administered using the planning procedure mentioned during this paper and Computational Fluid Analysis (CFD) of impellor is completed through Ansys.

One of the unique features of the system of administration in Meghalaya is the existence of the traditional system of administrations in the form of Syiemship, Sirdarship, Wahadarship, Doloiship and Nokmaship. These chieftainships have managed to co-exist with the modern constitutional institutions, i.e the state government and the Autonomous District Councils. According to date from the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Councils, there are fifty-four chieftainships in the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. The paper seeks to examine the role of the traditional institution of village council in local self-government in Meghalaya
