The relation among the personality factors with the party of leaders, age of the leaders and level of the leaders are the neglected field of social psychology in India. Therefore, the study will try to provide evidence for the postulates that anxiety, insecurity, hostility and attitudes are affected by political ideology, age and level of leadership. The present study provides sufficient evidence for the role of political ideology and age of the leaders, either they belong to district or state level. In the present study it was found that the central party of Bihar was more anxious than the other parties. Similarly it is obvious that centralist party of Assam were more anxious than the rightist and leftist party. But when we compare the anxiety scores of the leaders of Bihar and Assam it was found that it all the three parties, the Bihari leaders were more anxious than their counter part. The findings of the study constitute an addition to the existing scientific knowledge about anxiety, insecurity, hostility and attitudes. It is hoped that it would be fruitful for the researchers who are interested in doing research in this area.

Earth pressure related problems are one of the important topics of research in the area of geotechnical engineering to solve problems like retaining walls, ground anchors etc. Very often in the construction of building or bridges it is necessary to retain earth in a relatively vertical position whenever embankments are involved in the construction. The retaining material on the higher level exerts a force on retaining wall may causes its overturning, sliding, bearing etc. A retaining wall is massive structure so it is necessary to design and check stability of retaining wall analytically as well by software as per IS:456-2000. The calculation of wall dimension of particular earth retaining problem require several runs of analysis and thus computer application is desirable. The present research deals with evaluation of cantilever retaining wall by comparison of Excel worksheet & softwares Geo-5, RetainPro & RETWALL for single layered homogeneous ? soil backfill with and without ground water table. The MS-Excel Spreadsheet is to be prepared to carry out stability analysis. The analysis of Retaining wall can be done by using various static earth pressure theories such as Rankine, Coulomb's. Factory of safety against sliding, overturning and base pressure are satisfied without considering shear key & with provision of shear key.

The principal is the pivot of an education institution around which all the activities and the affairs of the institution revolve. Being at the helm of the affairs he shows the right direction both to the students and the faculty of the college. Acting as a philosopher and guide to the stakeholders of the college he imbues them not only with knowledge but also with the right kind of value system that keeps them in good stead when they go out of the college and seek their livelihood. This is more so the case with the principals of B.Ed. colleges because it is the student teachers who in the later years go out into the world and teach and spread effectively the knowledge and the value system that they have picked up in the B.Ed. college where they have pursued their teacher education. The principals of these B.Ed. colleges must possess the right kind of leadership qualities and must be worthy of emulation both by the student teachers and the faculty of the college. They must be effective decision-makers and must be fountainheads of motivation and communicators par excellence. They must be an erudite scholars endowed with persuasive skills to encourage both the faculty and the students of the college to have an ever-lasting appetite for imbibing knowledge. The principals of B.Ed. colleges should be awash with an unflagging adventurous spirit and an experimental attitude toward their problems. Managerial effectiveness of Principals is one of the major and probably the most predominant and decisive factors contributing towards B.Ed. college effectiveness. Highly successful B.Ed. colleges are driven by highly effective Principals. In this era of knowledge explosion which is bringing about a paradigm shift in technologies and pedagogies for imparting meaningful instruction to the knowledge seekers, the role and responsibilities of the principal are highly crucial and demanding and are growing by the day. Reformers of education may conceive of new ideas, bring changes in structure and curriculum, recommend and prescribe novel teaching methods and aids, but in the end, it is only an effective principal who will be solely responsible and accountable for effectively applying them. In this backdrop the present research study throws light on the perception of the B.Ed. College lecturers foster regarding the managerial effectiveness of their Principals.

We propose here a novel framework for securing fingerprint privacy by joining two distinct fingerprints into another personality. In the enlistment, two fingerprints are caught from two distinct fingers. We extricate the minutiae positions from one fingerprint, the introduction from the other fingerprint, and the reference focuses from the two fingerprints. In view of this separated data and our proposed coding methodologies, a joined minutiae format is produced and put away in a database. In the verification, the framework requires two question fingerprints from a similar two fingers which are utilized as a part of the enlistment. A two-arrange fingerprint coordinating procedure is proposed for coordinating the two inquiry fingerprints against a joined minutiae layout. By putting away the consolidated minutiae format, the total minutiae highlight of a solitary fingerprint won't be traded off when the database is stolen.

This paper presents a power factor corrected (PFC) bridgeless (BL) buck–boost converter-fed brushless direct current (BLDC) motor drive as a cost-effective solution for low-power applications. o An approach of speed control of the BLDC motor by controlling the dc link voltage of the voltage source inverter (VSI) is used with a single voltage sensor. This facilitates the operation of VSI at fundamental frequency switching by using the electronic commutation of the BLDC motor which offers reduced switching losses. o A BL configuration of the buck–boost converter is proposed which offers the elimination of the diode bridge rectifier, thus reducing the conduction losses associated with it. o A PFC BL buck–boost converter is designed to operate in discontinuous inductor current mode (DICM) to provide an inherent PFC at ac mains. The performance of the proposed drive is evaluated over a wide range of speed control and varying supply voltages (universal ac mains at 90–265 V) with improved power quality at ac mains. o The obtained power quality indices are within the acceptable limits of international power quality standards such as the IEC 61000-3-2. o The performance of the proposed drive is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment, and the obtained results are validated experimentally on a developed prototype of the drive.
