Agriculture is the mainstay of human food in this world. Today with a growing population, we need to increase the productivity of agriculture a lot to meet the requirements. (Hodgson JM. The nature, n.d, p. 1) In the old days they used regular methods to increase production, such as using cow dung as fertilizer in fields. This has resulted in increased productivity sufficient to meet the needs of the population. But later, people started thinking of getting more profit by getting more results. Then came a revolt, dubbed the "Green Revolution". After this ancient use of a toxic, lethal herbicide has risen to an extreme level. In doing so, we achieve success in productivity growth, but we have forgotten the damage to the environment that will raise questions about our livelihoods in this beautiful land. So in this project, we implemented some methods to reduce the use of herbicides by only spraying them in areas where there are weeds. In this article, we implement image processing using MATLAB to define weed areas in an image we capture from fields

Myth has been projected with fresh life in contemporary narratives. This freshness is also evident in the delineation of most revered and idolized women characters like Sita, Draupadi, Sati, Gandhari, etc. Sita, firstly introduced by Maharishi Valmiki in his archaic saga Ramayana and has been refabricated distinctly over the ages. As modern literature gives a new stride to mythology, the character of Sita has been recapitulated with new dimensions. The present study would comparatively examine the character of Sita specifically in terms of her strength in two contemporary rehashings named Sita: Warrior of Mithila by Amish Tripathi and Ramayana 3392 Ad, a graphic novel by Virgin comics. Both these tales are set in assorted periods and demonstrate Sita in a completely new arena. In modern narratives, Sita has developed a persona based on her solidarity and frailties.

Overload or short circuit is quite a common problem affecting electrical system and need to be corrected immediately. The function of circuit breaker is used to detect a fault condition and interrupt current flow to protect the system. When compared to fuse, a circuit breaker can be used to find fault in the system and isolate it and after fault has been rectified it is brought to normal operation. The accidental death of lineman has become a common problem which happens due to lack of miscommunication or lack of coordination between lineman and operator. In this work circuit breaker is designed in such a way that only the assigned person can operate it with the personalized password. As a result of implementing this novel method, the safety of the worker can be ensured because the line cannot be energized without his permission.

In many developing countries all over the world, financial inclusion has always and continues to be a major concern. Since several decades of independence, various policies and programmes recommended by the Government of India and Reserve Bank of India to have branches in rural areas in the country, financial inclusion appeared to be a distant vision. Thus, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) was started as a part of comprehensive strategy to bring financial inclusion in the country, whose achievement has been marvellous. The PMJDY gave the chance to the unbanked residents of the nation to have a bank account with least documentation. The opening of financial sector to economically and socially weaker households, women and different other marginalised section encouraged the government to provide the benefits of various government schemes and subsidies directly to their account without spillage. The PMJDY expanded the participation of women in banking sector, in this manner guaranteeing gender equality. This article focuses on the concept and ideas of financial inclusion and it also highlights the progress of PMDJY as a comprehensive and effective financial inclusive programme in India.

Skinks are lizards belonging to the family scincidae which is one of the most diverse families of lizards. Most species of Skinks have long tapering tails, the tail can be shed to distract the predators. In such species tail can be regenerated. The new tail is often shorter and with cartilage rather than bony vertebrae. In some cases, abnormal tail regeneration may occur. Presently in the hill range of Mahabaleshwar parts of Satara district we have observed Eutropis carinata with tail bifurcation.

A MOOC, which is an abbreviation of massive open online course, offers free education in an online environment, with no limit on class size. MOOCs are a recent and widely researched development in distance education which was first introduced in 2006-2007 and emerged as a popular mode of learning in 2012. Early MOOCs often emphasized open-access features such as open licensing of content, structure and learning goals, to promote the reuse and remixing of resources. MOOC provide students with the opportunity to learn from the finest educational institutes, tutors and through varied technological medium laptops, smartphones, tablet, computers. Constantly improve the scope and avenue of education through participation of prominent educators and crowd sourcing. MOOCs aim to facilitate vocational and professional training so as to improve the prospects of job and employment and to achieve the global interactive and open participation of students via the internet and other medium of technologies. Interaction and communication in MOOCs will provide knowledge and personal learning network to students from the mode and connections in the digital environment. A MOOC is an online course with the option of free and open registration a publicly shared curriculum and open ended outcomes. MOOCs build on the engagement of learners who self-organize their participation according to learning goals, prior knowledge and skills, and common interests. Majority of the students holds a positive perception about online learning than the traditional learning which is more attractive. We often pay for traditional e-learning. MOOCs tend to be similar to a typical university term. E-Learning can theoretically be a one off, although many certainly do have education over times so that learning builds and is re-enforced.

Being the welfare state, India has provided a police and judicial mechanism for the investigation of the crime and trial of the accused. It was presumed that crime and punishment is equal to innocence. It means when any person commits the crime and he is tried and punished for the same, he has again become an innocent person and eligible to live in society as he was living before his committing the crime and it is presumed that justice has been provided to the victim. The ambit of Indian criminal justice was fixed merely to convict the accused on the presumption that convicting the accused is sufficient remedy for the victim. Concentrating only upon the reformation and rehabilitation of the accused the legislature forgot to think that it is the victim who needs to be rehabilitate first. But by the passing of time, the presumption drawn by the legislature has been set aside when specific provisions have been provided in the criminal justice system for compensation to the victim either at the cost of the guilty accused or the state.

Efficacy of routing in mobile ad-hoc networks has become a crucial part as a result of the enhanced use of mobile devices and the demand for self-managed networks. Most of the conventional routing protocols have their own limitations in providing secure and cost-effective services. Many researchers have proposed the use of swarm intelligence protocols for routing in MANET however none of the same provide the de-facto solution to issues related dynamic nature of MANET. A novel approach using particle swarm optimization (PSO) to provide a cost-effective solution is proposed in this paper. The experiment is performed using a network simulator tool NS2 and MATLAB. The routing performance of PSO is compared with a commonly used algorithm called dynamic source routing (DSR). This research clearly dictates that PSO is well suited to the dynamic nature of MANET and its performance is superior to DSR.

Right to social security is a kind of natural right and it is recognized as a basic human right by most of international personality. The concept of social security was first introduced in German in the year 1883. Internationally the concept of social security as a basic human right came to play by ILO declaration Philadelphia (1944). Then this right is upheld various International Instruments like international bill of human rights (UDHR, ICESCR) and is reflected in various International conventions. The research article talks about the development and trend of the Human rights and the future of it.

Compressive strength of a concrete is the resistance against the external load. It is one of most crucial properties of hardened concrete. Concrete is very strong in compression and its determination is of utter importance. For years the traditional method of determining compressive strength has been UTM test in which sample cubes are prepared, cured, and tested under load in the Universal Testing Machine thereafter compressive strength can be obtained from strength-load relationship. In early 1940% non-destructive tests were introduced in which compressive strength was determined indirectly by relatively less time taking but a complex calibrated process. However, all these methods have time consuming and complexity drawbacks. With the advent of Artificial Intelligence. Machine learning techniques are being used to predict the compressive strength. Various techniques have shown high accuracy in predicting the compressive strength. In this work I have used one important machine learning methods which is Back Propagation Neural network (BPNN) for forecasting the 28 days strength of concrete. The actual data after normalization to reduce the range of data difference is segregated randomly into training and testing datasets which are fed to the where from the predicted dataset is obtained. The relevance factor R is computed which establishes the relationship between actual and predicted data and it is highly important parameter for defining the accuracy of the used predicting model. On the basis of high valve of relevance factor and other parameters like RMSE, RSR, MAPE, NMBE, R, E, mean, standard variation and variance, I arrived at the conclusion that BPNN was accurate and efficient model for predicting the compressive strength of concrete.

As the predominant land use of a catchment area changes from rural to urban, the alterations to the natural surface cover are frequently radical that the provision for stormwater quantity and quality control becomes indispensable for the protection of lives and property. Hence the stormwater runoff quantity and quality modeling were carried out. The volume of stormwater runoff generated in the urbanised area for various return period was estimated using StormNET model. StormNET is a package comprising of hydrology, design of drainage network and graphic displays etc. The stormwater quantity modeling involves the computation of peak runoff, surface runoff volume and detention pond design to reduce the peak runoff. The stormwater quality modeling involves the quality characteristics of urban runoff, pollutant buildup, washoff rates and evaluating the effectiveness of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for reducing the pollutant loadings.
