Over the last decade, research has highlighted the importance of integrating the performance analysis in the software development process. Software Performance Engineering (SPE) has been recognized as the discipline that represents the entire collection of engineering activities, used throughout the software development cycle, and directed to meet performance requirements. Performance is in fact an essential quality attribute of every software system; it is a complex and a pervasive property difficult to understand. If performance targets are not met, a variety of negative consequences (such as damaged customer relations, business failures, lost income, etc.) can impact on a significant fraction of projects. Performance problems cause delays, failures on deployment, redesigns, even a new implementation of the system or abandonment of projects, which lead to significant costs. All these factors motivate the activities of modeling and analyzing the performance of software systems at the earlier phases of the lifecycle by reasoning on predictive quantitative. To provide an automated feedback to make the performance analysis results usable at the software architectural level. Results in order to avoid an expensive rework, possibly involving the overall software system.

Abstract: Ternary Logic has been the topic of interest of many researchers due to its merits over common binary logic. Much of the previous work on ternary logic is purely theoretical nature. Due to the problems with the binary logic to reduce interconnect complexity and reduce chip area, it is giving motivation for the investigation of many hardware implementations of Ternary logic. Work on hardware implementation of three value devices has been more recent. Three types of Ternary logic inverters i.e. STI, PTI and NTI are implemented. With the increased number of logic states, bit handling capability of ternary logic circuits will increase. XOR gate is a digital logic gate that has a wide range of applications in digital systems. In this paper, various operations performed by TERNARY computers are implemented using XOR gate like modulo 2 addition, magnitude comparator, and controlled inverter etc.

Enterococcus, considered a normal commensal of intestinal tract, is fast emerging pathogen causing serious infection. Despite the increasing importance of Enterococcus as opportunistic pathogens, their virulence factors are still poorly understood. The potential virulence factors of enterococci include production of enterococcal surface protein (Esp), gelatinase, and hemolysin. Gelatinase- and hemolysin-producing strains of Enterococcus faecalis have been shown to be virulent in animal models of enterococcal infections. This study was undertaken to determine the prevalence of virulence factors (gelatinase and hemolysin), phenotypically and co- relation between virulence factors with respect to different clinical specimens

Cartesian product of two manifolds has been defined and studied by Petrov [1] and others. In this paper, we have taken Cartesian product of p manifolds, where p is a positive integer. Certain prospects of this product manifold have been defined and studied. The curvature tensor of the product manifold has also been studied and it has been shown that the Cartesian product manifold is an Einstein space if the constituent manifolds also possess the same property.

Green sand casting process is near net shape process capabilities has greater possible to achieve quality characteristics in casting products. Present competitive market demands the defect free products with lowest possible prize and prompt delivery. Casting process involves the large number of parameters of sub process and typical working environment due to which foundrymen faced the problem of high level rejection of casting components. Hence objective of the study is to identify, optimize process parameters to achieve better results of automobile component made by cast iron and investigate significant parameters to make casting process more robust. Defective castings have analyzed to identify major casting defects such as shrinkage, blow holes and shrinkage by using parato diagram. Castings rejected due to major casting defects have characterized to determine process parameters responsible causing major defects. The process parameters considered are green compressive strength, permeability, loss on ignition, carbon equivalent, volatile data in return sand, pouring temperature, A.F.S .number, mould hardness, return sand temperature, active clay, dead clay, moisture content and compatibility at two different levels and experiments were conducted using L16 orthogonal array as per the taguchi method. Thus multi objective process parameter optimization is performed using grey relation analysis to to reduce rejection levels of major casting defects. Analysis of variance was done for robust design parameter values.

The populations of large cities around the world are growing rapidly. Cities are beginning to address this problem by implementing significant sensing and actuation infrastructure and building services on this infrastructure. However, as the density of sensing and actuation increases and as the complexities of services grow there is an increasing potential for conflicts across Smart City services. These conflicts can cause unsafe situations and disrupt the benefits that the services were originally intended to provide. This project monitors and evaluate the overall health of smart city transportation services using real-time data feed. We will prepare an architecture, which will focus on health monitoring and alert that arise on Transportation services.

Medical image fusion techniques are extensively used to aid medical diagnosis by combining features of two or more images of various modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT) , Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) ,and positron emission tomography (PET) into a single output image that contains salient features from all inputs. This paper proposes a hybrid fusion algorithm is applied on a CT and MRI images. The largest Eigen value of the covariance matrices of each image are used to obtain weights for next stage image by Principal component analysis (PCA) and different frequency components of input image are separated by Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), noise in output images from first two stages. Performance evaluation of CT-MRI image fusion with hybrid algorithm BY Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) improves the image quality compared to established methods. Overall, the non-linear fusion rule holds strong potential to help improve image fusion applications in medicine and indeed other fields.

A developing economy like India necessities sufficient resources to finance the developmental activities that are comprehensively and achieves all levels of the society and most of the finances from taxation. Presently, the tax structure of Our country is very complex. To overcome these complexities of our taxation system, the government constantly changing the taxation system to rationalize tax administration and generate more revenues for social protection, infrastructure, and several other developmental activities. That's the main reason, the government to implement or move towards the GST is an indicator of our evolved taxation system. After passing the 101st Constitutional Amendment (GST) Act, the highly-anticipated tax products GST appears to be an actualityon 1st July 2017. To ensure a smooth transition, government and all related nodal agencies like Goods and Services Tax Council, GSTN etc., have been regularly making a decision to resolve the problems encountered being at different levels. To simplify the difficulties faced by indirect taxation system and create a common taxation system throughout the nation and decreasing the barriers between states, the dual structure Goods and Service Tax (GST) was passed by parliament. This system has a uniform rate of tax for all the states. This paper is designed specifically to provide an in-depth knowledge of GST and what challenges the economy faces in implementing the GST at this time in a very practical and streamlined manner.

All of the beneficial properties of precast concrete, including compressive strength, durability and water tightness are enhanced through proper curing techniques. Unfortunately, the curing of precast concrete products is one of the last and perhaps most neglected steps in the manufacturing process, especially in a rapid production environment. Curing takes place immediately after concrete placing and finishing, and involves maintenance of desired moisture and temperature conditions. In this critical literature review, how the traditional and accelerated curing method affect the compressive strength of concrete are explained, in order to reach better quality in lower duration.

This study has been undertaken to investigate the flow past a circular cylinder placed between parallel wall to see the effect of wall confinement on flow patterns. The fluid flow is numerically simulated by finite difference method, based on vorticity-stream function formulation for Reynolds numbers in the range consistent with two dimensional assumption and gap ratios (G/D), ratio of gap to diameter in the range between 0.5 and 2.0. The transitions from steady flow to a periodic vortex shedding regime are investigated. The results are consistent with previous investigations the suppression of vortex shedding for a cylinder placed near one wall. The unsteady vortex shedding regime changes, from a pattern similar to the von Karman vortex street when the body is in about the centre of the walls. The vortex shedding influences by wall opposite sign vorticity as the body approaches one wall. As the cylinder approaches nearest wall, cylinder vorticity elongates with the interactions from wall vorticity for lower Reylonds number. As Reynolds number increases suppression of shedding noticed as the cylinder vortices interacts with wall vorticity.
