 Abstract

Academic institutions need to keep track of student attendance every day. Doing this manually becomes a major task as it takes a lot of time and may lead to mistakes. Furthermore, it can get much more complicated if one has to deal with large groups of students. For the stated reason, an efficient Web-based Attendance Management System (AMS) is designed to automate the process of marking attendance based on a pre-set timetable. This system provides complete aid for educational institutions to efficiently manage their students' presence records. It is a web application which offers a three-tiered user interfaces namely admin, staff and student thus enabling seamless interaction, efficient management and analysis of attendance records effectively. For admins, there is a centralized dashboard that allows to manage timetables, set attendance parameters, generate reports, edit or delete records, and monitor attendance trends. Staff members can easily record attendance for their respective classes, modify student details, access attendance history, enabling them to monitor individual student attendance patterns. Students can access their attendance history, check their overall attendance percentage, and receive notifications for any absences or updates. Compared to existing traditional pen and paper method of taking the attendance, this system is designed to save time, reduce the workload of the teachers and offer a modern solution for efficient attendance management in academic institutions.

 Abstract

The most popular method for administering different medications is oral drug delivery, out of all drug delivery systems. By maximizing the drug's pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic qualities, sustained release solutions offer advantages over traditional dosing forms. By keeping the drug's therapeutic concentration in the body from fluctuating, the sustained release formulation offers a crucial means of reducing adverse effects. Extended release, targeted release, delayed release, and prolonged action dosage forms are offered for these formulations. The formulation design for sustained release is influenced by various aspects such as molecular size, diffusivity, pKa-ionization constant, release rate, stability, dosage, duration of action, absorption window, therapeutic index, protein binding, and metabolism. This article discusses many kinds, assessments, and elements that influence sustained release formulation design.

 Abstract

The importance of Computer Aided Drug Discovery (CADD) has been consistently increasing over the past 20 years. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the CADD methods, machine learning (ML) is one of its subtopics. In the past five years , many Artificial Intelligence in Drug Discovery (AIDD) approaches were employed towards drug discovery . This article includes discussion on the scope and limitations of AIDD . Artificial intelligence (AI) has been transforming the practice of drug discovery in the past decade. Various AI techniques have been used in many drug discovery applications, such as virtual screening and drug design. In this survey, we first give an overview on drug discovery and discuss related applications, which can be reduced to two major tasks, i.e., molecular property prediction and molecule generation. We then present common data resources, molecule representations and benchmark platforms. As a major part of the survey, AI techniques are dissected into model architectures and learning paradigms. To reflect the technical development of AI in drug discovery over the years, the surveyed works are organized chronologically. We expect that this survey provides a comprehensive review on AI in drug discovery. We also provide a G it Hub repository with a collection of papers (and codes, if applicable) as a learning resource, which is regularly updated.

 Abstract

The increased proliferation of online apps and services has raised serious concerns about the possibility of cyberattacks. SQL injection is a common attack type that takes advantage of holes in online applications to access databases without authorization. Maintaining the integrity and security of online systems depends on identifying and thwarting SQL injection attacks. In this study, we use the Sequential Minimal Optimization (SMO) algorithm to present a unique method for identifying SQL injection attacks in network traffic data. This study proposes a unique strategy that leverages machine learning to solve the critical requirement for efficient and effective detection procedures. This study specifically focuses on using the (SMO) technique to identify and mitigate SQL injection threats using network traffic data. The sequence of contacts between hosts, or network flow data, provides a wealth of information for identifying unusual patterns suggestive of attack activity.

 Abstract

Producing money without the government's sanction is known as fake currency and it is a serious crime. An RBI research states that the number of counterfeit notes of the new Rs 500 series increased by 37% in 2019-20, while the number of Rs 2000 notes in circulation decreased. Not only banks but some other commercial institutions and establishments also now have resources and equipment to verify the legitimacy of the new notes . However, since the common people do not have means to access to these systems, there is a need for software that can be utilized by the general public to identify counterfeit money. The suggested solution makes use of image processing to identify if the money is authentic or fake. The creation of the system is primarily done using the python programming language.

 Abstract

We have seen such a rise in global warming and pollution over the years. There is a change in the vegetation and food chain, the wetlands are vanishing. We humans have destroyed the environment that we need to survive. This doctrine shows consistency with the present environmental issues. The public trust doctrine enforces a legal right for the citizens under Article 21 and gives a positive duty to the state to preserve and safeguard the environment. The paper concludes that the public trust doctrine is a very effective way to solve all the environmental issues and conflicts in a proper legal framework, as India does not have separate environmental protection laws. By promoting the public trust doctrine we are promoting the protection of the earth and its resources.

 Abstract

This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of an antifungal cream incorporating fenugreek seed extract, neem oil, coconut oil, and clove oil, with the aim of assessing its efficacy against Aspergillus Niger. These natural ingredients were chosen for their known antifungal properties, making them promising candidates for an alternative treatment approach. To achieve this, extracts were prepared at different ratios, employing an appropriate solvent system. The resulting mixture underwent rigorous testing against a standard Aspergillus Niger strain, utilizing the agar plate diffusion method. The zones of inhibition around the agar plates containing the formulated mixture were measured, and the information achieve was exposed for statistical investigation. The antifungal activity of the prepared mixture revealed significant inhibition of Aspergillus Niger growth, as evidenced by distinct zones of inhibition. Importantly, the size of these inhibition zones varied based on the specific ratios of fenugreek seed extract, neem oil, coconut oil, and clove oil. Notably, a unique combination of these components demonstrated the highest antifungal activity. Comparative analysis against a positive control, representing conventional antifungal treatment, indicated comparable or even superior effectiveness in reducing Aspergillus Niger growth. This suggests that the formulated mixture could serve as a potent natural antifungal agent. The combined effect of fenugreek seed extract, neem oil, coconut oil, and clove oil showcased remarkable antifungal properties, opening avenues for their potential application as an alternative treatment for Aspergillus Niger fungal infections. The study proposes that the synergistic action of these four components could offer a compelling option for managing such infections. While the results are promising, the study acknowledges the need for further investigations to delve into the underlying mechanisms of action. Additionally, assessing the effectiveness and safety of this formulation in vivo through extended research and clinical trials is imperative. The reading is funding in the rising body of knowledge on likely anti-fungal agents also presents a potential avenue for innovative fungal infection treatments.
