Father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi rightly said that, India lives in her villages, at present by the fast movements in urbanization approximately 70% of Indians live in rural areas only and agriculture takes the main source for work, livelihood of the people, also one can easily understand that, the country cant develop without drastic changes in the rural places. Government schemes, programs, policies etc. like Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana for rural electrification, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Rurban Mission etc. are the prime functionaries for the developments in rural India, but by the science and technology education there will be a positive development which fulfill all their needs and requirements. Science and technology embraces every attempt of rural people to explore, interpret and manage in all walks of life. By the modern trends in remote sensing science and technology education, the departments of water, sanitation, forest and agriculture are benefited a lot in the country, also latest technologies like laser land leveling, drip, sprinkler irrigation need to be brought up to all rural places to upgrade cost-effectiveness of water and minimize misuse of this precious resource. The present study focuses mainly on the impact, pros, cons of science and technology education and finally highlight on the awareness on to improve rural India society by the transformation of novel technology and science education for sustainable growth which will only take all the rural areas and hence India, forward in the 21st century.

The structure in high seismic areas may be prone to the severe damage. The structural safety for earthquake loading is most important factor along with building serviceability and prospective for economic loss during major earthquakes. Performance - based design is controlling the structural damage based on precise estimation of proper response parameter. By performance based seismic analysis one can evaluates how building is likely to perform. It is an iterative process with selection of performance objective and subsequently development of preliminary design, an assessment whether or not the design meets the performance objective. This review article is based on Non-linear Static Analysis (Pushover Analysis) of RC frame buildings with shear wall and its parameters such as Lateral Displacement, Storey Shear, Storey Drift, Base shear and demand Capacity (Performance Point) are been evaluated using E-TABS and SAP software. Now a days, utilization of alternate materials which bear higher engineering quality than traditional materials have been increased. Soil is most important construction material. Soil improvement is necessary because of expansive and swelling nature of soil and low bearing capacity of soil. Soil stabilization is the process of improving its properties by changing its graduation. Millions of tons of waste will cause problems in both disposal, environmental contamination and health risk. Here the clay soil is mixed with steel slag and rubber crumbs in various proportion of the properties are taken into account. The strength properties of the soil were improved by increasing the percentage of rubber crumbs (5%, 10%, 15%) and keeping the steel slag constant (20%). Standard proctor test, California bearing ratio (cbr), unconfined compressive strength test was performed at various proportions into the clay soil. The conclusion drawn from this investigation is that the combination of rubber crumbs (10%) and steel slag (20%) is more effective for the improvement of properties of clay.

Drug abuse is an age old phenomenon traditionally viewed as a form of victimless crime as drug abusers often face stigmatization from the society and the legal structures which in turn impacts their welfare and health. In India, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, (NDPS) 1985 criminalizes trafficking, storage and consumption of drugs making the drug abuser a victim to the drug and an offender against law. This paper plans to counter this by featuring the burdens of criminalization of medication abusers and weights on an elective remain of review them as survivors of medication misuse. It additionally plans to concentrate on restoration of the casualties of medication maltreatment as a path towards "request decrease" of medications with the assistance of the law authorization organization for example the police as likewise imagined by the NDPS demonstration. The paper crosses the criminological hypotheses from mental to discerning decision and supports the contention with a continuous intercession model of the law authorization organizations with network, casualties and guilty parties.

The Government of Bangladesh has become very alert for controlling excessive birth rate to regulate population explosion. So, it is very important to promote different contraceptive methods among women of reproductive age in Bangladesh. In spite of attaining the self -sufficiency in many sectors, the increasing population is a great impediment for the sustainability of the consistent development of the country. So, modern long-acting and permanent methods (LAPM) of contraception are mandatory to maintain the situation. In this study, we have attempted to identify the important factors that affect the long-acting and permanent methods (LAPM) of contraception. Firstly, we have carried out chi-square test for defining the correlates of long-acting and permanent methods (LAPM) of contraception using data from Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS), 2014. From these analyses, bi-variate association between each independent variable and dependent variable has been observed. However, an empirical association between two variables does not necessarily imply a causal relationship between them. It is essential to adjust for the effect of correlated variables in order to determine more precisely the net effect that any particular independent variable has on the dependent variable. In order to estimate the independent effects of each variables controlled, data have been further analyzed within a multivariate framework using multinomial logistic regression model. The great achievement of this study is that we have got some demographic, socio-economic and family planning variables as determinants of long-acting and permanent methods (LAPM) of contraception.

Bridges with Skew are very common at highway, river passage and other extreme grade changes, due to restrictions in space skewed geometry is necessary. Due to the needs for complex intersection and the troubles with space constraint in urban and metro city areas there is a growing demand for skewed RC girder bridges. There are many reasons such as when roadway alignment changes are not feasible or due to the topography of the site to maintain economic and as well at particular areas someplace environmental impact is an issue then the Skewed bridges are useful. A skew crossing may be essential if a road alignment crosses a river or other obstruction at an inclination different from 90. The inclination of the centre line of Roadway to the centre line of river in case of a river bridge or other obstruction is called the skew angle. The analysis and design of a skew bridge are much more complicated than those for a Normal bridge. Bridges with large angle of skew can have a considerable effect on the behavior of the bridge especially in the various ranges of spans. A lot of research studies have been made to examine the performance of skewed highway bridges. However, there are no detailed guidelines addressing the performance of skewed highway bridges. There are many parameters which affect the response of skewed bridges which make their behavior intricate. Therefore, there is a need for additional research to work the effect of skew angle on the performance of RC girder bridges. As the Bridge plays a major part in Road Network since the Bridge Structure is affected by various parameters. The Skew angle is one of the major factor which is taken under consideration while Design and Analysis of Bridge. As the perpendicular crossing or right angle crossing of bridge is not possible due to site condition or due to the proposed alignment, the effect of skew angle of the bridge deck is finalized by modeling the bridge and the comparison of various skew angle effects. This will be done considering Bending Moment, Shear Force, Bending Stress, and Tensile Stress.

In todays world , actual record of fuel filled and fuel consumption in vehicles is not maintained. It results in a financial loss. A vehicle is a machine that transports people or cargo .Vehicles includes wagons, bicycles, Motor vehicles, (cars ,trucks, busses) , railed vehicles ( trains , trams) and water crafts etc. The concept mainly focuses on the two wheeler vehicles. It is essential that a vehicle have a source of energy to drive it. Most common type of energy source is fuel. Implementing the fuel management system in two wheeler vehicles is the basic need as We are unaware about the amount of fuel present in the fuel pump . The fuel consuming vehicle users finds it very difficult if the fuel station doesnt contain fuel in it. In this world fuel of advanced technologies, everywhere vehicles are found out .The main objective Of the project is to get the fuel availability status is the petrol pump, also hardware containing microcontroller along with GSM, GPS & load cell will show exact amount of fuel present at fuel tank.

ABSTRACT Urban green spaces (parks, forests, green roofs, streams and community gardens) are public and private open spaces in urban areas, primarily covered by vegetation, which are directly (active or passive recreation) or indirectly (positive influence on the urban environment) available for the users. Most urban green spaces represent novel ecosystems providing critical ecosystem services. In fact, urban areas can support endemic native species and others of conservation concern both at regional and global levels. These species and the overall diversity in a city rely on the size, quantity, and quality of such spaces which facilitate citizens to connect with nature, witness ecological processes in action, and potentially become scientifically literate citizens, equipped to make informed decisions regarding conservation initiatives and policy. Quality green spaces in the city act as carbon sinks and affect climate change. Apart from supporting a variety of species and habitats, they contribute to essential services including water filtration and absorption, nutrient cycling, air filtration and noise buffering. Identifying the ecological role and conservation value provided by different types of urban green spaces is of particular importance, given the continued growth of urban areas and the development of new cities, along with the promotion of certain types of green spaces. The recent Smart City initiative by the Indian Government promoting development of urban green spaces can be coupled with strategic landscaping to optimize benefits of greening programs, thus ushering sustainable urbanization.

In the modern era the demands of high-rise are greater than earlier due to the provision that the number of satisfactory people can be accommodated in that but the inappropriate design may lead to catastrophic demolition or destruction of the structure which is obvious from the earlier few decades. When horizontal loading acts on a building, causing it to deflect, the resulting eccentricity of the gravity loading from the inclined axes of the structure's vertical members causes the lateral displacements of the structure and the moments in the members to increase. This second-order effect is termed the P-delta effect. In heavily clad low- and medium-rise structures, the P-delta effects are small enough to be neglected. However, with the trend toward taller and lightly clad buildings with greater lateral flexibility, the P-delta effects become more significant. In some cases, the P-delta effects are large enough to require an increase in the designed member sizes. In an extreme case of a very flexible structure with a large gravity loading, the P-delta effects could, if not accounted for, be severe enough to initiate collapse. Thus, in the design of any high-rise building, it is important to assess whether these second-order effects are significant and, if so, to account for them in the analysis and design.
