The Paper deals with the various performative complexities associated with an 1848 Kolkata performance of Shakespeare's Othello. This performance was especially remarkable as it included Baishnavcharan Adhya, a Bengali, playing Shakespeare's Moor along with British actors. To think of the 1848 performance of Othello as a monolithic exercise of colonial surveillance would, however, be simplistic. Rather the performance brought into focus a nexus of overlapping differences, produced by polyvalent interactions of South Asian/ colonial caste and class hierarchies. When Baishnavcharan Adhya performed as Shakespeare's Moor on 16th August, 1848, he was engaging with discourses of 'love' that had polyvalent associations.

"Exploring Emotional Intelligence Across Demographics: A Gender, Age, and Education Perspective" ABSTRACT The term Emotional Intelligence (EI) in this thesis refers to the ability to identify, use, understand and manage emotions and emotional information. It has been suggested that there are individual differences in our ability to utilize emotions and emotional information (Mayer & Salovey, 1993) The term stress is derived from the Latin word stringere, which means 'to draw tight', and was used in this way in the 17th century to describe a hardship or an affliction (Cartwright & Cooper, 1997)). Later in the 18th century, the term stress referred primarily to an individual's 'force, pressure, strain or strong effort' This study intends to find out the relationship between emotional intelligence and occupational stress among working couples and Single Earning. To explore the relationship between demographic variables and emotional intelligence and occupation stress, demographic variables are listed for the study by the researcher The level of Emotional Intelligence amongst working couples is higher than single earning couples. The researcher also observed that Occupation Stress amongst Working Couples is more than that of Single Earning Couples. It was observed that the average level of emotional intelligence and occupational stress among working couples is higher than among single-earning couple respondents.

Abstract Chinnamanur lies 25 km. from Theni on Theni-Kumuli road in Uthamapalayam Taluk. Chinnamanur was named after a Chinnamanayakkar, the founder of the place in the time of Queen Mangammal. This place is referred to in the inscriptions as Arikesarinallur in Alanadu. It is famous for the temple called as Rajasimhesvara dedicated to Siva. Twenty seven early Pandya stone inscriptions are available in the temple. The village, Arikesarinallaur is the former name of Chinnamanur, which denotes the combination of all the three, Murthis (god), as Sthalam (temple or place) and Theertham (holy water tanks). Its Sthalapuranam was translated into Tamil from Sanskrit about 300 years ago by Poolananda Kavirayar with the help of Vanar. This purana is consisted of 945 hymns with the legend history of Poolanandisvarar Temple. It was written on the palm leaves. Sage Soodama told the Naimicharanya Sages, Poolavanam is the greatest temple among the Siva temples mentioned in the Sankara Sangeetha in the Skandapurana. The present paper aims to explain the Social Settings of Chinnamanur from the inscriptions found in the Poolanandisvarar temple.

The Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) was established in India in 1993 to empower Members of Parliament (MPs) to address local developmental needs within their constituencies. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of MPLADS fund utilisation by MPs during the 16th Lok Sabha tenure, focusing on recommended, sanctioned, and completed works, as well as expenditure across different categories. Data from official government reports and MPLADS guidelines are utilised to examine the trends and patterns in project implementation. The findings reveal a consistent increase in the count of recommended and sanctioned works over the five-year period, indicating a growing emphasis on local development initiatives. However, fluctuations in project completion rates and expenditure highlight the need for streamlining implementation processes and enhancing monitoring mechanisms. Category-wise analysis underscores the importance of addressing the diverse needs of marginalised communities and promoting equitable resource distribution. The paper concludes with recommendations for improving the effectiveness of MPLADS initiatives, including measures to streamline administrative processes, enhance community participation, and address resource disparities. By leveraging the scheme effectively, MPs can play a crucial role in fostering socio-economic progress and contributing to the overall development of the nation.

Network attacks pose a significant threat to the security and integrity of computer networks. The ability to predict and prevent these attacks is crucial for maintaining a secure network environment. Supervised machine learning techniques have emerged as effective tools for network attack prediction due to their ability to analyse large amounts of network data and identify patterns indicative of malicious activity. We present a comprehensive analysis of supervised machine learning techniques for the prediction of network attacks. We collect and pre-process the data, extracting relevant features and transforming them into a suitable format for machine learning algorithms. We evaluate the performance of these algorithms. We investigate the interpretability of the trained models to gain insights into the underlying patterns and characteristics of network attacks. This allows network administrators to understand the nature of attacks and develop appropriate defences strategies. Additionally, we discuss the challenges and limitations associated with the application of supervised machine learning techniques in the domain of network attack prediction, such as the need for real-time analysis and the emergence of sophisticated evasion techniques.

The integration of highly fluctuated distributed generations (such as PVs, Wind Turbines, Electric Vehicles, and Energy storage systems) threatens the stability of the power and distribution systems. The main cause is that the power ratio between the supply and demand may not be in the balanced condition due to unexpected demand. An excess shortage in the generation or consumption of power may disturb the network and create severe problems such as voltage drop (or) rise and in severe conditions also blackouts. To maintain a proper balance between the supply and the demand in an efficient way and to reduce the peak load during unexpected periods, energy management systems are utilized. Energy Management can be broadly divided into two main categories. The first one is on the side of the supplier such as electric utility, in which some generators are turned ON or OFF to follow the fluctuation of the load demand. The second one is that on the consumer side and it is also called as the demand-side management. In the demand-side management, the consumers will manage their energy consumption so that they will manage with the available power from the generation side. The main goal of energy management system is to reduce the cost of operation and consumption, so as to reduce the energy losses and increase the reliability of the network. Energy management has many barriers and limitations. However, it has a prominent future in which most of the current researchers are focusing on developing sophisticated algorithms and models to better manage the energy on the Power grid.
