Multi Arch Check dams are small arch dams constructed across nalas to impound water by which the ground water table in surrounding areas has increased. It is a curved concrete dam. The self weight of this dam is quite less compared to gravity dam. It transmits major portion of water load to the abutments. Very small portion of water pressure is transmitted to foundation. Hence it can be built on moderate or on weak foundation, resulting in significant cost savings and increased longevity.

From the early 1970s new forms of social mobilisation began in India. They gained a variety of names such as social movement, people's movement, popular movements, socio-political movements etc.[1] These movements emerged and highlighted some of the major issues such as gender and environment. One of the leading analyst and participant in social movements in India, Sanjay Sangvi, identified the major agendas of them as "Movements of landless, unorganised labour in rural and urban areas, adivasis, dalits, displaced people, peasants, urban poor, small entrepreneurs and unemployed youth took up the issues of livelihood, opportunities, dignity and development." Most well known movements in the country are Chipko movement, Save Silent Valley, Narmada BachaoAndolan, Honour for Women National Campaign, KoelKaro, Chhattisgarh MuktiMorcha, JholaAandolan (fighting polythene), Appiko movement, Save Kudremukh, LokSatta Movement, Swadhyay Movement, SwatantraSharad Joshi [1], Karnataka RajyaRaithaSangha [2] These movements largely distanced themselves from political parties, or tried to cut across the ideologies of the political parties. Yet many of them rooted themselves or drew from ideologies of the Mahatma Gandhi, various shades environmentalisms or gender politics, or socialism.

Abstract : The Economic growth of any country is depends upon the capacity of producing goods and services of a particular country. Aggregate economic growth of particular country is measured by Gross National Products (GNP) or Gross Domestic Products (GDP). Gross Domestic Products, Unemployment rate , price indexes , fiscal and monetary policy- these all are the main indicators of economics growth. Foreign exchange rate is also one of the most important indicator of economics growth. This study uses BSE SENSEX Index of last ten years, taken as a supportive variable of GDP. This study shows there is positive or linear or Significant relationship between BSE SENSEX Index and GDP Growth Rate in India.

India is having rich heritage in music. our classical musical maestros understands and recognizes, ragas emotional influences on human being by changing the resonance of human body. Ragas like darbari and khamaj are found to defuse mental tension, particularly in the case of hysterics. Raga malhar pacifies anger, excessive mental, excitement & mental instability, Raga jaijaivanti have also been pound effective in curing mental disorders and calming the mind. Although it is require to verify this raga correlation systematically. By survey, it has been seen that no schemes have demonstrated yet. The proposed research presented in this paper is aimed to discover the science behind phonetics of raga and its effects on nerve system. This research is one step to explore scientifically the ancient way of alternative medicine i.e. raga therapy, which is a need of the day since current advances in technology and rising workload on human being is accompanied by stress relating to mental disorders. This research focuses on to study the influence of Indian classical ragas structure on human body while person is listening and experiencing an emotion in it by capturing EEG signals. The brainwave signals database will be collected and analyze. This research work addresses these objectives and aims to present a strong case which will help medical practitioners like psychiatrist, to treat patient by injecting music stimulus.

The farmers need credit for the purpose of seed, manure and fodder, payment of rent, wages, irrigation of crops, hire charges of pumps, purchase of livestocks, repair of agricultural implements, land improvement, for laying of orchard and capital expenditure on agriculture. The present study aimed to know the factors which determine the banking finance of farmers in Erode District. Access to a comprehensive range of financial services is a significant challenge for smallholders, who constitute the vast majority of farmers in developing countries especially in India. Smallholder farmers are quite a heterogeneous group, differing in their resource base and choice of crops and livestock, links to markets, the relative importance of agricultural income, and other dimensions. As such, solutions regarding access to finance need to better understand the various profiles of smallholder families and the conditions and market context where they operate.

There are a lots of paths to go from one place to another place i.e. point A to point B in real road maps and Driver need to pick the best path. To do this, the pathfinding calculations is utilized. At present, a few calculations have been proposed for steering in recreations so the general difficulties of them is high utilization of memory and a long Execution time. Because of these issues, the improvement and presentation of new calculations will be proceeded. At the initial segment of this article, notwithstanding essential and imperative utilized calculations, everyone knows the point where the driver or user is and where they want to go. The map has roads (they are called edges) that connect the nodes (places with coordinates). From every node, user can go to one or many edges. An edge has a cost (e.g. length or time it takes to travel it). For small maps, one could perhaps calculate all possible routes to the destination and select the shortest. For these calculations in the different modes and Simulated calculations various algorithms are Dijkstra, Iddfs, Biddfs, Bfs (Breadth), Greedy Best First Search, Ida*, A*, Jump point seek, HPA*.

A lot of endeavor has gone in to the study of financial market and how the price fluctuate along time, adopting technical analysis method of aiming to predict future rates. Throughout this paper we studied the statistical properties of stock-market data and prediction done with the help of statistical properties.Quarterly worked stock market data are standardized by re-scaling each index and then normalizing the whole time- series. Plot of the kurtosis and skewness will help to study the characterization of stock market data. Standardized normalized data further given to different predictors then plot the output and compare.

In this system it has been proposed an Automatic steel rod cutting machine instead of manual cutting machine. In the existing method, the work was carried out manually to align and cut the spiral steel rod. The proposed system is designed in such a way to reduce the manual work in terms of aligning and cut the spiral steel rod accurately by automation by the use of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). The available raw steel rod materials are winded on the spindle for transporting conveyance. The automated cutting process will remove the misaligned areas of the steel rod and cut the rods based on the required length.

Casual dining concepts are preferred by a larger number of people as compared to fine dining concepts, largely because India is a price-sensitive market. This empirical article aimed to identify the primary factors that influence diners in selection of various categories of restaurants in the study region. The study has observed that diners were influences by restaurant features like: the food quality, menu varieties, price and value for money, least waiting time and prompt services. The study confirms the fact that food aesthetic considerations now heavily weigh on: tastes, preferences, and consumer choices. Food habits undergo continuous change as they adapt to travel, immigration, working status of couples in a family and their socio-economic environment. In short, the article had concluded that there exists close association between type of restaurant selected by the diner and factors that motivated them to visit the restaurants.
